When I called and asked if they would rebook me the lady on the phone said that she could rebook for a trip that had two layovers from 2pm(Prague time) to 8:30pm(NYC time) for the 24th of November (thanksgiving). When I asked her if there was anything else she said that was the soonest flight she could find. When I checked my self I found and booked a flight for the 23rd. When I called back they refused to give me a refund."

The crew ended up gate checking one for me in Frankfurt which was nice. But I would have paid not to carry that dumb thing around with me through the giant Frankfurt airport. Other than the one desk woman in Prague, everything else was good."

I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

Nevýhody: "Entertainment screen did not work; in neighboring seat it could not be switched off when we wanted to sleep; sourly employees everywhere (re-booking counter an exception); food close not being edible and cold; I forgot my watch on when going through security in the Air France terminal; when I started to say "sorry" I was yelled at by the screener who said that she will do the talking; she sent me back through the scanner twice without my watch, then once more with the carry-on and made sure that I went to the end of a very long line to wait for another screening rather than having me just go through the scanner without my watch. Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

We had to use the safety manuals to fan ourselves. We eventually left late and got to Lagos one and half hours we were meant to get there. Lastly not all the luggage arrived. Two days into my arrival and I am yet to get all my luggage. It was truly a horrible experience which was echoed by fellow passengers."

Then we had to climb steep steps in extremely hot weather. We were swearing in the heat for an hour!! We arrived at our destination and hour and half late!!"

Poor communication between plane and ground crew. No explanation from pilot as to continuing reason for delay even after we boarded. Departure time, 1.00 pm, boarded at 1.10, actual departure time 1.45, causing me to almost miss my connection and definitely causing my bags to miss the connection."

Výhody: "The flight crew was excellent. My husband and I flew economy and I saw the crew keep passengers well fed (several meals and snacks) and were attentive to everyone's needs and all done with a smile. I thought the hot towels for cleansing our hands before meals was a very nice touch!"

Flight kept getting delayed then we had a gate change as well. Finally got on the plane and it took forever to take off so we were basically sitting in a sauna for 30+ minutes."

The folks in Prague couldn't fix this, they moved one ticket to a different exit row, not together, different part of the plane. In Paris, but ONLY after I located my receipt on my phone, they moved us to the seats we had paid for."

The pilot missed the first landing, was going too fast and had to turn around. We circled the London eye 3 times. They were going too fast when we landed as well, I have never been in a plane that has landed so poorly, and I have travelled a lot and used many different airlines. It was worse than any budget airline I've been on. As we were driving back to the terminal, the pilot stopped short for some reason. Things were not explained clearly. I will not be flying with airfrance again and will be sure to spread the word of this awful experience."

They did and the matter was eventually resolved, and I am awaiting my bags now at the place where I am staying."

The chairs were much more comfortable than any other plane I’ve been on due to the adjustable head rest, and as a regular flyer to Cyprus, this made a difference. The sweets served just before landing is an excellent idea and something that we do need due to our ears, so this was appreciated. staff were attentive and pleasant."

Nevýhody: "Dusseldorf to Warsaw: Boarding terrible including assistance and messaging. - Boarding chaos - Late flight out of Dusseldorf (about an hour) - Just before landing, pilot announced all connections would be made - (and even mentioned chicago) - Connecting flight was gone when I arrived at gate, and I was quick in getting to gate from prior flight - next flight caused 5 hour layover in Warsaw Warsaw to Chicago Boarding terrible including assistance and messaging. - Boarding chaos - Late flight our ot Warsaw (about an hour) - no messaging at gate about reason for delay - kept increasing departure by 5 minute increments; started at 16:40 ended 17:05 (I beleive) - once boarding was complete, pilot said delay was due to wait for connections (boarding was an hour and 15 minutes late). Very frustrated"

Then the flight was further delayed with no news about when the new take off would be or why the delay. Finally boarded a tiny plane that had propellers and a loud take off, if you easily fright on planes probably not the best choice for you. And then someone started smoking on the flight and the attendants had to announce again that smoking wasnt allowed. On and off throughout the flight it smelled like someone was smoking so I wonder if it was even coming from the cockpit."

When I tried to change the baggage weight to 32kg a charge was added for NOT taking the case PLUS the extra for the 32kg case! The cost of a case is reasonable and I would advise to pay the extra £5 for 32kg for most flights. The on-line Seating Selection is also unreliable, I was seated next to an empty seat which had been showing to be unavailable on-line! A response to my query which I sent to Blue Air arrived when I was in the air on the flight! It only repeated the baggage section of the Confitions document! Thank goodness for the excellent airport check-in staff and the Flight Crew!"

In fact it would put me off flying with Blue Air again."

Then on this flight the stewardess tried to tell me that I could not put my bag on the bin on top of my head - she was reserving it for other passengers! Then she realized that her comment might sound racist (so she apologized), then she told me that I could not put my small bag under the chair. Finally I told her that she is certainly looking for a way to get me off the flight to which she answered "I can certainly find something!!!" Cultural sensitivity is needed with these stewardesses who are racist like I don't understand and I was certainly polite!"

Missed connenction flight ( 27 hour delay for connecting flight) with them as well as a result, had to stay 2 extra nights (in great accommodation they provided, at least) had minimal information about what to do in the morning (almost missed the bus to the airport because they only had a little sign noting it) Overall they took care of us from the delays, but I still missed a day and a half of work because of it."

In the end, I wasn't able to purchase it ahead of time and we had to pay $49 at the airport. I feel entitled to a reimbursement of the difference between the booking online price of $15 and the $49 I paid."

Nevýhody: "I would like a survey about my experience flying FROM JFK TO MONROVIA on Dec. 5 & 6! I have decided that this was my last voluntary flying experience with Brussels Airlines!"

Nevýhody: "They charged for water! I couldn't get regular water on the plane. I had spent down all my euro, so I didn't have the 3 euro for a bottle of water. They would not accept American money either. After a while, I had to take a medication and needed water so went to one of the crew in his station to ask for it, explaining the situation. He gave me some water, but pretty much shamed me in the process. He was saying it was hard for the crew to have to charge, but they were made to do it now, and what would it look like if other passengers saw him giving me the water and not charging?! OMG!"

If your ticket says your last destination is us. And i did not even got a full refund for their stupid mistake. Lack of information. You guys should be more careless for your customers."

Nevýhody: "Impossible to check in online if you have a visa. Avoid at all costs seats in row 15. The first row in coach has 3 seats and be row behind has 4 meaning that you are 4 people sharing 3 screens and seat pockets. No room to put your legs under the seat in front of you because they are not aligned with the seats in front. I fly all the time and have never seen this. I am short and has absolutely no room for myself or even my iPad and headphones. Horrible experience. Never flying with Brussels airlines on a transatlantic again!"

Nevýhody: "We paid extra for economy plus, but they completely messed up that part of the reservation. Multiple phone calls and run around at the airport. The "upgrade " is a nice one but the hassle was stressful and still not sure if I'll get the $ straightened. Front of plane warm, but back cold."

Výhody: "Pleasant staff, entertainment system is ok although a bit outdated."
Nevýhody: "Our flight (operated by Air Canada) was delayed due to a control tower fire. Other flights seemed to have been delayed 1 or 2 hours, but ours was delayed 3.5 hours. That's not really the airline's fault, but it seems like they didn't want to communicate updates or give us any options for alternate flights. They also listed the delay at just under 3 hours, rather than the real 3.5 we were late leaving the gate (to avoid giving out vouchers, I suspect)."

We reached the flight, however bags did not make the connection. We received bags next day at hotel. Travelling home, the flight was delayed 1h30m, the gates were shifted 3 times for departure, we had to sprint this time for conmection again B to A terminals. On the flight we were told Edinburgh connection would be rebooked so go to desk, however we made the flight just and so did the luggage, if we had waitied as told to rebook our luggage would have landed in Edinburgh with us stuck in Brussels. Won't be using again."

Nevýhody: "My biggest disappointment was that no one on the flight was informed that ALL the luggage checked in on the aircraft did not arrive in Budapest. Everyone (about 70-80 passengers) stood for a long while at Budapest Airport for baggage pickup, then went over to talk to Hungarian lost luggage personnel to file their baggage. Why didn't the airline tell us upon check-in, or even announce to the passengers on the aircraft that the bags had not been loaded? This would have saved everyone 10 hours later to try to figure out what happened."

Nevýhody: "We were flying to Brussels about three weeks after the terrorist attacks at the airport, then home ten days later. So I understood the lines and the extra security. But the last communication I got from them (via United Airlines) said that our flight was leaving at noon on Sunday. Without notifying me, they moved our flight up to 10:15, so we missed it. We were able to get on the same flights the next day."

Nevýhody: "Dear kayak, you do want us to rate "the experience" of the terror attack right before our boarding? Of course everything is automated. But is it that hard to stop your "rate your trip" requests for those who went through all that horror? What about those who lost their people there - I can bet they are happy to respond to your "ratings"..."

Výhody: "The crew members were polite. Enjoyed the food and the entertainment."
Nevýhody: "It took too long to have to wait to be transferred to the area in the airport where we would be flying from."

Výhody: "The staff was polite, responsive and proactive. The service was great and the food was above average. The movie and entertainment was good and offered many choices. I would recommend this airline for overseas travel."
Nevýhody: "The seats, and head rest specifically, were a little uncomfortable for a long trip. Feels like it forces your head forward in an awkward position."

Výhody: "My trip was great and entertaining from Africa to Brussels. From Brussels to DC it was on time, but not very entertaining. Thanks,"

Nevýhody: "The flight was all right and save, thanks to the captain and co. The food was good. The airplane seemed visibly dirty, not cleaned. Stewards male and female were very impolite, totally not friendly, always in a rush and nervous. Before landing they were extremely rude and in a hurry. An idea is serving breakfast 20 minutes earlier !"

Nevýhody: "The staff I encountered were either mediocre or really unbelievably rude. It was a real disappointment. The crew member actually implied I was lying about a visa process. He and his manger both were not helpful to say the least. I often travel on all different flights and this by far was my worst experience."

Výhody: "We liked that it was a direct flight from Brussels to JFK. Flight was on time."
Nevýhody: "-My husband and I were forced to sit separately (despite having same reservation number). The crew and check in agents were extremely unhelpful in resolving the situation. -Food was terrible. Quite disappointing when you compare it to our recent flight with Turkish Airlines. -monitors said checkin was open. But when we went to the counter, checkin had not started + 40 people were waiting. We had to wait nearly one hour for the checkin to begin."

Výhody: "They really had a great range of movies, shows & games. The movies included recent releases & classics, and the some shows were whole seasons which was nice for a long flight. The crew was very nice - I certainly wouldn't have been after the way some of the passengers were treating them. They were accommodating to everyone's needs- bringing the newly vegetarian woman a different meal, picking up the whole curry chicken dinner a child threw across the aisle that the mother would not pick up, drink service was offered several times & so was garbage pick up."
Nevýhody: "The boarding process was HORRIBLE. We were delayed due to a poor boarding process & uncooperative passengers who refused to adhere to the security guidelines. (In there defense it was basically going through another security checkpoint which we had all already gone through, but COME ON people!) They were trying get people to check all rolling carry-ons due to limited space while letting people with MUCH bigger bags on to the plane- I could have fit in a lot of those people's carry-ons! The seats were the thinnest I've seen for a long-haul flight & not at all comfortable- impossible to sleep on a 9 hour flight. The headrests were awkward & my husband's was broken. So then we were delayed for our last flight home out of DC. It may not have been the airlines fault entirely but the whole system was screwed up & I have had much better experiences with other airlines for transatlantic flights."

Nevýhody: "boarding was later then it should be, also when the boarding starts everything was super slow, and they try to put all people from one plane to one bus ..in the end when was completely crowded and there were a few people that really can't get in because there was no space left, finally they bring another bus for them... Our departure was late and we were half hour later in Warsaw."

Výhody: "When I booked my ticket in June 2015 to travel to Monrovia, I requested vegetarian meals. On my return flight from Brussels to Washington, I was served vegetarian meals without any reminder. The vegetarian sandwich was delicious. I was also given isle seats, which I requested."

At one point, there was a delay for 1.5 hrs, but suddenly, the delay changed to just 30 minutes. If I hadn't of had my other app, I would have never known. Secondly, the easyjet app didn't save the fact that I had checked in. This caused an issue when I wanted to access my boarding pass getting onto the plane. I tried to see it, but the app said my plane had taken off and so I couldn't access it and therefore, wasn't sure of my seat number. Next time, I'd just appreciate a paper boarding pass because the issues that occur on the phone are too numerous."

However, I was told today, no personal item was allowed. Not even a purse. I was then asked to stay outside the gate and try to fit my backpack an its contents into my suitcase. This was not possible, and not only was I charged over $70 to check my carry on bag, the man at the gate so so rude, he didn't seen to even want to take my money. He ignored me while I tried to figure out what I could do. Very disappointing, and what a low way to rip of your customers."

In America, they are smart a realize that this bag (usually a backpack or a purse) can easily fit under the seat in front of you and does not need to be put in the hold. Even if it would need to, the airline would "gate check" the bag for you free of charge (you would just reclaim immediately after deplaning). But no, EasyJet will bend you over and charge you €50 to check something as simple as a backpack."
