Nevýhody: "Well, I wasn't too fond of having to sit on the runway at Dulles for three hours while the thunderstorms raged. But taking off wouldn't have been a viable option. :) Actually, it wasn't that long for the thunderstorms, but something very heavy fell on the top of the plane while we were waiting. Maybe a bowling ball? I was torn between wanting to get off the ground, and being terrified that they would take off without checking out whatever the heck that sound was. Apparently, they did check it out. We pulled over to a maintenance spot and sat there for a while before we took off. If there was anything I didn't like about the flight, it was that there was no announcement about what had happened and what they were doing about it. But I'm nosey."
Nevýhody: "There was a two hour delay, then after arriving to Dulles the staff couldn't find the container with half of the people's luggages. It took them around two hours to find the people's bags. Customer service unresponsive, crew was slow, food was nasty, sits were old and small, toilets were dirty. Nevýhody: "The flight from ivano Frankivsk landed in kyiv at 8am local time, the next flight from Kyiv to NY was scheduled for 11am, however it was postponed until 7pm due to lack of functioning airplanes according to the dispatcher. We had to wait at the airport for a flight from Asia to arrive so that plane could be cleaned up and used for my flight. There was no hotel or food offered during 9 hour delay window in Kyiv, if you wanted something - you had to pay out of pocket which is ridiculous, hundreds of people were delayed so there was no room in the general waiting area, 9 hours of sitting on the floor for $1200, how about that? Ridiculous service at the customs, been pulled aside for a detailed exam 5 times, basically every 30-60feet, staff is extremely rude, very poor customer service.. disgusted by the experience with Ukrainian Airlines."

Nevýhody: "No one at that airline knows what is going on. I received an email saying my.flight was cancelled. When I called to rebook, I was assured that the flight was still valid & that I had received the message in error. When I tried to check in for the flight, I couldn't, because it really was cancelled. I spent 3 days trying to sort this out. I even had help from someone who speaks Russian fluently. They completely missed us, saying they had booked me on a direct flight from Minsk to Amsterdam, & upgraded me to business class. None of these things were true. After 3 more phone calls I finally got rebooking information & was able to check in online, just in time to be issued what is arguably the WORST seat on the airplane (last row, center seat). They had already stolen the entire last day of my trip by cancelling the evening flight & forcing me to take the morning flight. And offering to refund my money so I could book on a different airline does not help at the last minute, when prices skyrocket. Incompetency & inefficiency is bad enough. The fact that I was LIED to on several occasions is inexcusable."

Nevýhody: "The whole experience was absolutely exhausting. Gatwick airport is nothing short of a disaster. The UIA counter can't take payments and the "international" airport can only take certain forms of payment (non of which are dollars- I know it's London, but I've never been anywhere that can't accommodate this). Ukraine international airlines are extortionists that will hold you and your luggage hostage with arbitrary baggage policies. 6kg is the cabin policy by the way. And if you don't read the fine print, you too can spend $80 to check a TSA approved hand bag. That's right. 12kg and all it cost me was EIGHTY US DOLLARS. Then they printed the incorrect boarding pass. When I returned, in a hurry because this whole ordeal lasted 45 minutes, the agent at the check-in counter demanded I "say please" to get my correct boarding pass. I've flown on 4-6 segments per week for the last four years. I understand how to communicate with airline agents, but wow... These people are off their rockers. During this whole conundrum, they even checked two people in under the same name. These people are in no way qualified to be operating an airline or maintaining personal information of any sort."

Nevýhody: "Bought two RT tickets with baggage fees included from Kiev to Prague...and was not charged a baggage (or any other) fee on the way out. Had no other problems in any other respect either. However, on the way back to Kiev from Prague I WAS charged a baggage fee...by an "agent" that UIA uses to check-in its passengers in Prague...and it was not a small (or normal) baggage fee either. Rather, it was 50 euros per bag ($110 US dollars) in total for two under-the-allowed weight and size bags. OUTRAGEOUS!! I paid the fee with my Am Ex card and when I complained to Am Ex they froze the fee instantly. I think this "agent" will lose by the time all the dust settles. My point is this: BEWARE when you use UIA outside of the Ukraine...because it employs clearly unscrupulous agents."

Výhody: "The flights where on time, and there were not issues between transfers. They provided 2 meals on out 9+ hour flight that were unexpected as everything I read indicated that there would be no on flight meals provided, so that was nice. There was always one little thing in the meal that was a bit weird, but overall the meals were rather good. And once they put on the movies, they kept them coming, which really helped the time pass on such a long flight."
Nevýhody: "It might just be a cultural thing, but the crew was less than friendly. They didn't appear to enjoy their job at all and rearly smiled, which I found odd as I took a total of 4 flights and only the male attendants on one flight smiled.... but after seeing the typical cliental they have to deal with I guess I can understand their dislike! (If I had to deal with people allowing their children to run around like animals for 10 hours with not a word against their actions I might be a bit pissed as well!) And with all airline, they shrink the seats to cram as many people on the plane as possible, so the seats were not altogether that comfortable, but again, that's all airlines. Other wise the only technical issue that I wish should have been disclosed is in Venice there is no Counter for Ukraine Air, they use another airline as their counter support so it was a bit confusing and frustrating when they where unable to print both tickets! Had to get in separate line in Kiev to get second boarding pass."

Nevýhody: "I took 4 flights with this airline. Each was at least an hour late in take offs and landings. Very unfriendly staff whether at the check-in or flight attendants. Incredibly uncomfortable seats (compared with same level seats with other airlines). They reminded me with outdoor vegetable and fruit markets where farmers and gypsies yell to sell their products; they charge for everything, offering nothing on a 4 hrs flight, not even water. Not sure if it is a language barrier, but they are very rude and impolite in English. I really wish there was a single good thing to say. Even the pilots are the worst i've seen. Very rough landing every single time"

Nevýhody: "Problem communicating with counter crew who spoke none to little of English and probably because of me complainig about that they might have decided not to send one of my baggages. I finally retrieved it in different airport in three days."
Nevýhody: "Miserable experience. This was flight was diverted to Kuwait due to weather. We were told we would be taking off a few hours later. Then we were told that we would be given a hotel room for the night in Kuwait. In the end, we all just waited around in the Kuwait airport for hours without any assistance from any airline representatives. I wound up having to book another flight, as the Pegasus delay was 13 hours (even though other flights were departing to Bahrain much earlier)."

Nevýhody: "Oh, boy. First, this flight was super late and they wouldn't admit it. I went to the gate at boarding time, and the staff rudely pushed me away, saying I misunderstood the gate number. I double checked, and no, that was indeed the right gate. This lasted until the airport announced the final boarding call for my flight, and people started lining up.Then the staff had to admit that this was the right gate and the plane was just late. We didn't start boarding until way after the announced time (which they didn't bother to update on the screen until it passed. Extraordinarily disorganized. Second, the flight crew was loud and kept the lights turned way up on an overnight flight. Everyone around me was trying to sleep, and they were woken up by the crew yelling "DO YOU WANT COFFEE?" 5 rows away. Even when they finally dimmed the lights 3 hours into the flight, they kept the Tv's on, so the flashing advertisements prevented me from sleeping restfully. Third, you have to pay for coffee and tea. Who does this? They also begin their flight with loud, obnoxious music that jolts everyone awake (see above for this being an overnight flight). Overall, only choose this airline if you're okay with being kept forcibly awake and you don't mind the flight being late. Oh, and you have 2 euros to pay for simple tea."
Nevýhody: "The flight was delayed and that's normal for them I guess .. worst cabin crew ever."
Nevýhody: "It took me two hours in line just to print my boarding pass even though I checked in online. Many of us thought we would miss the flight. Terrible customer service. I'm never flying with them again"
Nevýhody: "Wasn't informed of any delays. Every flight was delayed or rescheduled! Nobody was informed of anything that was happening. I will never fly again with Pegasus"

Nevýhody: "Ticket agent was short with us and was bothered hat she had to check us in and questioned our flight. We had a cursing drunk guy in the boarding line for 20 minutes with no staff anywhere to help the passengers he was harassing. we left the airport late and heard horror stories from many other passengers about the lack of customer service."
Nevýhody: "I was unable to take the flight due to the coup. But everytime I call it can never speak to a real person and the one time I did they said they would get back to me and it's been over a week. What can I do to get a reimbursement???"
