Fast check-in; nice employees. No food, no water or soft drinks in flight. Plane and trip ok.
Asked for a little more water and was told by flight attendant that I’d have to get it myself from the back of the airplane. Not cool. Not good attitude either. Disappointing.
It was a simple trip. There was no food, The seats and leg room, etc are standard. The people were very friendly and helpful. Nothing exceptional nor concerning.
Flight was good. Customer service in Lima was bad.
ATAM Airlines by far the worst experience I ever had flying. Total disaster from beginning to end. Employees were beyond rude. When you call customer service with simple baggage questions they tell you to ask at the airport or check with your agency. Checking the same documents for every connecting flight, instead of doing it at the beginning of your flight and stamp all your boarding passes. Avoid lines and unnecessary contact with others by making long lines to check the same documents they already checked. If I can avoid this airline, I will sure do so and tell others to do the same.
Alaska Airlines was well run. They were also helpful and were positive even though flights had been cancelled. My flight was on time👍

Nevýhody: "We flew Latam to go snowboarding in Argentina. The moment we arrived at the desk to check in, it was chaos. We waited in line for almost 2 hours to check in. When we got to Buenos Aires, our snowboard bags had not made it on the flight. Having to deal with Latam agents who hardly spoke English and were not helpful at all was intensity frustrating. Our bags finally got to our destination 2 days later. We had to drive to the airport to pick them up because they were not going to deliver them for another day, so we would have been 3 days without our snowboard gear. Latam did nothing to compensate us for the days lost no did they even seem to care. This is one of the most frustrating companies I have ever dealt with. I booked a return flight on Delta and lost $1000 just so I don’t have to deal with Latam again. Any money you save on a flight is not worth having to deal with this company. Stick with reliable American-based companies with customer service that is up to American standards."

Upon purchasing the ticket, it stated that, checked bags would be $30 each, so I expected to pay only $30 for my second bag, being as my first checked bag came with the price of the ticket….instead, I was charged $75 for my second bag and not $30, like the price I saw… :-( very disappointing.. I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

This airline didn’t provide anything for us despite it being a 13 hour flight. Only drink included was water (everything else extra), no meals, no snacks, no earbuds, no pillow, and no blanket. Never again!
I will not be leveraging Kayak again to book flights or hotels. My experience in trying to get an issue resolved was near impossible as I got bounced around from one company to the next; I called AA, Kayak, Iberia, ChatDeal and nobody was able to help me get checked in on my flight back home. It was only when I got to the AA checkin desk at the airport that they worked for an hour to get me checked in - AA in person customer support was amazing and they were able to correct for all the issues with this Kayak/Chatdeal booking. This booking was a mess - when I went through Kayak - I thought I was booking with British Air - then I got Iberia and AA - Iberia never even picked up the phone or called back - AA couldn't work with us at the onset b/c Iberia was the partner and they didn't have access to their records. Then I called ChatDeal and they told me that Iberia's servers have been down for over a week that's why the non response. Kayak booking with untrusted partners has led to a lost my trust and I will not be returning. However, I will be booking directly with AA again b/c of their customer support was great. Thanks for making such simple checkin processes so v. complex - never in my history with Kayak has this happened before and I will not let it happen again - by just not using you again.

Well many things could have been better. I bought business class ticket. There was no lounge at airport. At least they could have provided us vouchers for a good restaurant to rest, eat, charge our phones etc... The seats were so uncomfortable. They dont recline and i booked business especially for comfort due to back pain. There was no entertainment at all. In our time this is really poor. I liked the food. Crew was super nice.

Nevýhody: "The seat on the LGW to MAD leg of my journey was very painful and uncomfortable. Seat pitch was very short. I have never seen such close seats in 45 years of flying including bargain airlines let alone more pricey higher quality airlines like British. Iberia was supposed to be an extension of British. When I arrived at MAD I went to the Iberia desk and tried to make an upgrade to their "business" class which was not up to the level of British's Premium Economy. At the Iberia desk at MAD, or online, or on the phone to upgrade the short leg of my return trip without raising cost of my whole round trip from USD $1250 to over USD $4000! years.This was RETURN part of my journey! Also was not able to choose seats ahead of time at MAD when I landed, online, or on the phone. British also said that I could not upgrade just the first (MAD to LGW) leg of my return journey. I would have to upgrade the LGW to TPA also. It is critical to me that I can physically fit into the space between my seat and the one in front. Emergency evacuation would be very difficult for all pax with the short seat pitch. My having to sit sideways with my legs in the aisle would make it more difficult for other pax to to evacuate in an emergency. Since I need a wheel chair I can no longer request the exit row as I have done for 45 years. British should be aware that bad experiences with partner airlines tarnishes their reputation. As a premier airline British should pressure partner airlines to maintain seat pitch at no less than 32 inches which is still tight for many people. Since not all partners have equivalent classes of fares, British should allow mixed classes. For example on a TPA to MAD round trip journey, it should be possible for the transatlantic legs to be at Premium Economy prices, and the short legs LHR or LGW to MAD at business class prices. Feel free to contact me."

Nevýhody: "I know this is a budget airline, but the customer service was beyond terrible. Originally when I booked this flight, expected departing time was at 14:30 and I booked an earlier flight in accordance with Iberia. We had a connecting flight from Lisbon to Barcelona with Vueling (coshare of Iberia) which was expected to arrive at 12:00. However, it was an hour late. In addition, Vueling insisted we volunteer to check in our carry on bags due to lack of overhead compartment space. Yet when we got on the flight, there was evidently enough space. Thus, while waiting for our baggage, our flight to Oakland was already on last call. We explained our situation to Iberia and their customer service would not help us. They refused to cover the cost of our flight and stated we needed to purchase another flight out of pocket, which was quoted to be $1100+/person! Save your time and money and book with another airline."

Výhody: "Chaos at the airport, but as soon as inside the airplane almost everything was excellent. Head stewardess in Eco was phenomally friendly"

I need an assistance to request for PRM ASSISTANCE for wheel chair, I don't believe that he don't speak English at all, Why would he be in that position. It should have bilingual person. I'm sure whether he pretend too I have walk back & forth to get help for information to have it translate to Spanish. All He does is make priority to all local people, it took one hour to get the wheel chair & then by transfer to intl national airport by bus took another hour, we check in @ 8:30AM by the time we get into the terminal was 12:30PM the flight leave 2 12:45PM. What a service. I will never ever flight with Iberia Airline. What a BAD service. Communication by itself is very very bad, the airline crew hardly can speak English. We have 6 people. We will definitely not recommend Iberia Airline. Thank you."

I was ticketed to row 37 without any notice and was told it was not possible to change. All I can do it request a refund from American. My screen did not work and I could not watch anything on the flight."

When the plane doors closed on our return trip, we asked the crew about the empty pre-booked seats and they allowed us to move. We really should get a rebate for this leg since we were put in the wrong seats."

Being assigned other seats on return trip despite calling 2 weeks before to confirm we had the pre-booked seats. 6. Phone calls prior to check in and talks at check in could not resolve the seat issues. One excuse at check in was poor exchange of data between Iberia and BA. but we booked the advanced seating via BA website."

Apparently, the airline requested 55 passengers to check their carry-on bags...but they just selected the first people who were closest to the gate. I purposely did not check a bag because I had limited time to make a train connection at my final destination, plus I had to go thru customs and I knew that in itself would be time consuming. I explained this to the airline staff, but they did not care. I think they should have first asked for volunteers; and if still needed, then randomly select people to check in the carry-on. Also they only were making people with the “suitcase” carry-on to check them in....anyone with a duffle-looking bag was not even bothered. Luckly, I’m mange to make my train connection, but I was running to do this...not fun at all."

I have been traveling for 20 years and I never felt so disappointed by an airline... I will not use this airline ever again"

Nevýhody: "The Lisbon airport is very difficult to navigate; signage is poor, and there are not enough staff on the ground. The waiting lines for TAP check-in are outrageous. TAP policy states they allow choosing a seat starting 36 hours of departure, but the poorly designed website let me book seats, and then asked me to pay; at the airport they also told me I had to pay on check-in to choose a seat. Worst of all, at the gate, the waiting area forces all passengers to wait while standing in a big herd - an hour - while police spot check random passenger carry-ons and perform body checks."
Nevýhody: "Be aware at check-in. It seems TAP never keeps the promise on the seats you reserved/paid for. The seats reserved appear in your e-ticket and in their app after purchase. But at check-in you find you were moved to the back and to the middle. All good seats gone. Has happened frequently with us!"

These airlines are doing everything save on costs by jamming as many people as possible onto an aircraft...this makes for a terribly uncomfortable 12hr long red-eye flight. The food was mediocre at best (my gf actually got sick from it), and the boarding process was anything but organized, allowing anyone to board at any given time. It was very hectic and took far too long."

Nevýhody: "The sizing device is much smaller than it needs to be for carry on roller bags. My bag was forced to be checked by the ground crew on this Tap flight. My bag is a normal sized carry on bag that has always fit on all flights. There was plenty of space on the aircraft for it. The ground crew also let others on with larger bags so they dont even apply their policy in a consistent manner. I will do my best to avoid TAP from now on."

We checked two bags when we went to the desk to get our boarding passes.....then when we were boarding the plane, I went through without a problem but my wife was flagged. we were informed that we now had to pay for our checked bags..both of us even though I had already been cleared. 70 dollars was needed...and so with our flight ready to leave we had to just about run 250 meters and then back 250 meters to catch our flight....we are in our 60's!!!!!. If we had to pay we should have been told at check in! and to make matters worse both of our checked bags are carryon size...we only checked them because we thought it would be convenient. Given that it was not our mistake that bag fee should have been waived....very poor customer service to people who have flown TAP many times........"
