Výhody: "The kindness of all people working on Swiss was very special"
Nevýhody: "The food was not very special, but the chocolates were awesome"

Výhody: "Crew was great, food was great, timing was great! (Got to LAX about 45min prior to scheduled arrival), however seats are very narrow!! Good enough for a short (2-5 hour) flight but definitely not for a transatlantic one!"
Nevýhody: "Everything great but the seats..don’t expect too much of a leg room in the 777 Boeing...unless you get the exit row in economy or you book a business class!"

Výhody: "The crew was friendly and polite."
Nevýhody: "The plane was small, it rattled and shook a lot and the size of the seats is ridiculous. The bathrooms did not have warm water and the sense of comfort is to be found only in business and first class. We fly to Zurich a lot because we have family there and we always take SWISS for a direct flight. They have old planes, the little TVs by the seats may or may not work and although the crew is nice and well trained, they cannot substitute for the discomfort of 10 hours flights in a crammed place. Sorry SWISS."

Výhody: "The crew was great and the food was pretty good. The crew did a great job of keeping the lavatories clean and stocked. It was a 10.5 hr flight and they gave us one meal, a snack and a treat. Not a lot but since we were just sitting it was enough food. We had to stop for a meal on the way home from the airport."
Nevýhody: "The seats in the economy cabin are cramped together. If the person in front of your leans back you are almost trapped in your seat. There is little leg room and the cushioning is not enough for a long distance flight. There is no boarding control. People just line up and get on the plane in any order."

Nevýhody: "Boarding was difficult with poor communication, before impolite request for spot check of carry-on bag and person. Ended up being one of the last to board. Entertainment system did not work, and after 4 requests for assistance to different crew members finally gave up asking and so had no entertainment for whole of flight. The last of the crew members suggested that an alternative seat or a future flight voucher could be given, but neither of these materialized. Food mediocre, and crew polite, but some not particularly friendly."

Výhody: "The flight ,food entertainment was very good. But I don't understand the SWISS airline logic. When I did the check in in Prague and got my boarding pass the told me that the system picked me to have the additional random checkup at Zurich airport. Its ok. If it’s done for security reason why to tell the people ahead of time that they will have additional checkup of bags and personal stuff. If you want to do it for security reason do it ( I want to be safe) but don’t do it for the check mark , it doesn’t make any sense and doesn’t protect us."

Nevýhody: "I was randomly selected for a second security check at the boarding gate in Zurich airport, the security staff were unfriendly, said it was a TSA requirement even though I stated I am a United States Citizen and That I have already passed through a complete security check Point, still they placed a metal & scanning detector on my feet, hands & belt. This was a complete violation of my rights. Never have I faced a humiliating situation at any other airport. If this was a TSA requirement then everyone should be subject to a second security check."

The crew "tried" to fix it but nothing happened, not blaming them specifically but I don't think they were to concerned about one customer with no entertainment. After a long while it started working again. It was a long flight to not have entertainment the whole duration of the flight. Besides this little problem it was a very good flight. Crew very professional and nice."

Výhody: "Everything!! This airline is a huge breath of fresh (old?) air. It reminded me of how air travel used to be. No baggage charge - we only checked one bag. There was plenty of great food and drink - alcoholic drinks were free. We will definitely look to use SwissAir whenever possible."

THEY SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED FOR THIS KIND OF FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY."

Výhody: "The flight was very good what I didnt like in that when i booked the flight it never said that my ticket wouldnt be able to add lifemiles for star alliance. That was only the reason i chose this airline. When i ask about my lifemiles the answer was that my class of ticket didnt get any lifemile. I felt cheated. You should put it somewhere visibly so the person knows before booking. If i knew it before i never chose this airline."

Nevýhody: "Customer service was very poor while we were struggling to get back to the US while the hurricane was coming to FL. We tried twice to fly home earlier because we knew the flights were going to get cancelled but the airlines wanted to charge us $1500 for that. So when the time came and the flights got cancelled they were trying to adjust the flights and we got stranded away from our kids. Overall it was not a great experience as far as their customer service and we were not happy with how they chose to handle things."

Nevýhody: "My flight was cancelled twice within 24 hours before takeoff. All I got was an email saying it was cancelled and a number where no one could help me. I spent over $40 international calls just to reschedule my flight, only to have to take a $80 cab to the airport to have a human help me. Worst customer service and worst experience. I was trying to get home after a natural disaster struck my hometown and Turkish Airlines actually made that experience even worse. At no point did anyone even apologize for cancelling two of my flights without another option until a full week later. I had to pay to fly myself home from Boston because they were so unhelpful. Would never recommend Turkish Airlines to anyone I know whn traveling internationally."

Výhody: "The in-flight entertainment was good and the flight attendants were very nice. They offered us small sandwiches and drinks during the flight so it was comfortable to fly with them."
Nevýhody: "You need to buy a visa if you want to enter the country and they only accept USD, Euros or GBP. The only currency exchange is on the other side of passport control so you have to use one of the ATMs and they only give you $100. The staff is unprofessional and seems clueless when you ask them for help. The kiosks are a nightmare and working with them is worse than working with the people. They freeze, and glitch and many of them just flat out don't work. Probably one of the worst airports I've ever been to."

Nevýhody: "Poor crew service--amazingly slow (my general THY service experience has been great, but in this leg crew did not respond to calls for almost 20-30 minutes). After meals, most people took their own empty trays to return them behind (because the crew had not picked up after 30+ minutes). The meals arrived cold as well. My entertainment set froze after 4 hours in a 13 hours trip, and was not attended to after repeated calls. One conscientious Turkish stewardess was very helpful in the 9th hour (literally), even if the entertainment did not come back on. To top these, I was sandwiched between a teenager on front and teenagers on right, who were loud and generally weird (obviously not the airlines fault). So, it ended up being a mediocre experience overall."

Výhody: "The desk personnels from the Philippines (flight from Phils to Istanbul) were very accommodating when I requested if the plane was not full that I could be seated on an area where the other seat was not occupied. Very professional with smiling faces."
Nevýhody: "So now, this would be the opposite (big time), this lady personnel on the desk (flight from Istanbul to Miami), when I asked her for the same request, she did not even look on the computer and quickly stated that the plane was full. I travel a lot so I just know that this person was lying and sure enough when everyone boarded, they were empty seats. I should have gotten her name because she was just plane lazy and unprofessional, it showed that she did not like her job. I paid an expensive Turkish plane ticket, so I deserve that courtesy and I would fully understand anyway if there were no seats at all but please don't even take your costumers like a fool."

Výhody: "My suitcase was delayed, but I'd like to notice and appreciate efforts taken by Turkish airlines rep. at MIA to get it found and delivered in a timely manner. She also followed up asking if everything is fine with it. Thank you, guys!"
Nevýhody: "Rude young lady security officer in Istanbul airport, who forced me to start my laptop working like it's forbidden item to carry on. She talked with intonation like I did something wrong and she is thereto discover it. I believe better workplace for her would be to supervise some prisoners, not welcoming guests at international airports. All other officers (including other security control ones) were looking overwhelmed by work flow, but still polite and friendly."

Every airline grabs the money, these "very smart" thy admin has developed rules to make passengers' life's inconvenient. Highly not recommended. Lousy airline. Broke my luggage on top of this on my flight from Miami to Istanbul. NOT recommended. Refrain from even suggesting thy to your customers. You have a good name."

Výhody: "Flowers in the bathroom! WOW! Hot rolls with meals! Wide variety of choices in online movies. Somehow my name was dropped from the Vegetarian Meal list. (It was there DEL to Istanbul, but not Istanbul to MIA). So, the chief made a grilled veggie plate for me that was excellent. Crew was very polite and handled the situation in a friendly & professional manner."
Nevýhody: "I reserved an aisle seat. Due to lower back & hip problems I need to get up and stretch. Turkish Airlines changed my seat reservation to a middle seat. The woman next to me was rather large, took up a lot of real estate (took up her seat and overflowed onto mine) and was unfriendly. It was impossible for me to get up, or to stretch. I was unable to return to work today due to sciatica problems related to flight seating. (I checked with the flight drew. The plane was full. There were no aisle seats available even if I could afford to upgrade to another class.)"

She is an old woman who gets lost and I had to order assistance for her, in Washington DC they opened her bags after that they lost the bags, she had medication on them and it was a nightmare to get them back. Im really upset and I don’t think That I’m going to book with this aero line again."

Passengers were divided in 5 lanes, depending on their seating area withing the plane (for a more efficient boarding, I presume) but, by the time we all got to the actual aircraft, we formed another queue in the boarding bridge so it didn't feel like any time was saved or anything."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

In mid season a week before departure, we were notified about the change and it was impossible to get a same priced ticket so close to departure. We bought insurance but even with that was impossible. Looks like a scam. Very upsetting, messed up the whole thing."

It was more of a routine / rush job rather than making sure that everybody was served and got what they needed ( had to ask for my dinner as my row was skipped and was never offered coffee before landing). The crew seemed rather young and inexperienced. The food was below average!!!! Especially the chicken patty before landing - seriously!!!!! Why not include a little bit of Finnish / Scandinavian cuisine to emphasize the Finnair brand!!! Entertainment was also below average. There needs to be more variety - especially for the TV selection, which had only 2 options!!! No music and no games?? Also, it would be nice to have access to a flight map. Too few accessible WCs"

The flight crew during boarding in economy didn't have the push needed to get everyone seated in an efficient manner. The tv screen does not move out far enough to view when the person in front has their seat all the way back. Selection is limited compared to the non stop flight previous from Miami to Helsinki. There isn't an option to view the flight details in flight which is interesting to some passengers. At least have the option."

Nevýhody: "Food, no option asked just served from Helsinki to Miami. Entertainment system was not working and later had only limited options."

Entertainment options included like 6 movies and 2 tv shows, only 2 movies were more or less new, not much for a 10.30 hour flight. We really enjoyed our experience on the outbound flight with Finnair and were looking forward to this flight also, but Finnair didn't service this flight."

I was unable to confirm my flight online and had to ring because at NO POINT was I sent info that it was AA and not Finnair. I was charge almost $60 for this service because I did not have the right references sent with my confirmation email. T he seats were cramped and uncomfortable, I was unable to pick my seat on any flight and despite my request could not change it. Boarding at Chicago was a farce, none of the ground crew seemed to be in charge and we barely started boarding with 20 mins to takeoff. Needless to say the flight left late and we had to wait to take off, and of course had to wait to land in London."

My husband's entertainment screen was broken and flickering so much that all shows/films were completely unwatchable. My screen began flickering 1/2way through a film."

Výhody: "The crew went above and beyond to cater to everyone during this long long flight, they were really sweet, moving people around for more comfort if needed. Hadn't seen such a caring crew in a long time. Thank you to the Miami based crew, they were amazing !"
