Usually I'm allowed a regular carry-on and a personal item (i.e., a small backpack), but Emirates was very strict on the personal items. Personal items are limited to only Business and First Class passengers. Also, they were extremely strict about the size of my carry-on. As someone who has been on 20+ flights in this year alone, few of them being budget airlines (which are generally very strict), I had no issues whatsoever with the size of my carry-on until I flew with Emirates."

A couple of them were a little less than charming to some of the passengers. Many of the people from Indian subcontinent don't use the magic words - thank you and please. So, it could come out likes bit rude but a curt answer in stead of yelling would have sufficed. My flight was from EWR to HYD with stopovers at BOS and DBX. A long wait at Dubai can be understood and expected. But a 7 hour layover at Boston was a killer. If Emirates tied up with any other carrier other than jet blue, this could have been avoided. Even otherwise, after a 20+ hour journey, another 7+ hour waiting was a killer. Please change it to make the journey shorter"

This flight to Geneva (change of airports) was late and the flight to Vienna took off with no passengers from our flight, after we were told it would wait. ' I paid for premium seats and did not get rebooked for the same. I am sitting in the Geneva airport for 7 and 1/2 hours, losing my meetings in Vienna. I never expected such poor service from Swissair."

Once you finally get your sticker from them it’s a quick trip through customs. Then the pain really begins with a security scan st each individual gate to enter a boarding area for the plane. Then I was pulled for extra security where a male agent touched my but with some sort of swab with no warning. He then claimed to not speak English (with zero accent when I asked him a question). It was a humiliating and very long process all run by delta!"

Nevýhody: "Flight delays cause cascade of irritable passengers. Flight out of Phoenix delayed due to late departure from previous location. We were told mechanical reasons was the cause of the delay. This caused many passengers to miss their connecting flight in Atlanta. When we arrived after midnight, one gate person was attempting to help 50 people with morning connecting flights and room accommodations. The airline knew 3 hours prior that they would have tired, hungry, frustrated passengers. To then have to wait more than an hour in a line to get a bed and or a meal was too much for most people. There were other smaller examples of how Delta's staff or procedures were not customer centric. I will avoid Delta for travel in the future, and I am getting out of their stock."
Nevýhody: "Our flight was originally scheduled for departure at 7:45 PM. We got an alert stating that the flight was going to be delayed but we were already almost to the airport when I received the first message on my smartphone. We received three additional alerts making our total wait time at the airport 5½ hours before we could approach the gate and board the aircraft. Seating in immediate gate area was not comfortable. Boarding was chaotic at best with very little control and guidance provided by Delta staff. The audio over the PA system was difficult to decipher much of the time. The only other available boarding status information was presented on the screens stationed near the gate and indicated PREMIUM the entire time during our boarding process and was never updated. We literally had to scramble through the crowd to get to the gate desk and get our boarding passes validated so we could board our flight with our group of passengers. Our seating on board the aircraft was thankfully good which is why I rated Comfort as Okay. We were saddled with one more delay after the flight left the gate and taxied briefly down the runway and then sat there for almost an hour. My suggestions to improve customer satisfaction based on my experience would include the following 1. Provide extended alerts for passengers travelling especially if the anticipated delay is known to the airline more than 2 hours before scheduled flight time. 2. Improve seating in the waiting areas near all Delta gates. 3. Re-orient all staff in proper boarding process and utilizing all available resources properly to provide clear and intelligible (not speeding) overhead audio messaging and current boarding status prompts on displays. 4. Maintain or replace audio equipment if necessary to help improve quality of audio messaging in all boarding areas."

I was crammed in next to a wall and claustrophobic the whole way as I couldn't see anything, couldn't recline at all because behind me was the bathroom, and the engine roared at times in my ears to where I couldn't hear the passenger next to me when we tried to have conversation as the engine was right outside my "wall". We joked, when we could hear each other, that we must've pissed someone at Delta off the last time we flew them. I have no idea why I had to get my seat assignment at the gate for this particular flight, or why I was put in the 'flying coffin' seat, but it made for a very unpleasant experience. Why even have that seat in the plane? Everyone pays a lot of money to fly these days and deserves better than that seat when doing so. just take those two seats out and give everyone else a little more leg room = much better passenger experience for everyone...my suggestion if Delta really cares about the quality of passenger experience."

Most flight attendants were unfriendly. The one gentleman that served us was pleasant. We really did not like that between the food service we saw virtually no flight attendants other than those sleeping in the area at the back of the plane. We did not like that we could not understand the announcements made. We did not like the fact that passengers were not reprimanded upon landing for using electrical devices and laptop computers even though an announcement had been made to turn all devices off and put them away. Once announcement was made not one flight attendant said anything to those people around us who did not follow the request. We did not appreciate the uncomfortable seats."

Nevýhody: "Customer service was very poor while we were struggling to get back to the US while the hurricane was coming to FL. We tried twice to fly home earlier because we knew the flights were going to get cancelled but the airlines wanted to charge us $1500 for that. So when the time came and the flights got cancelled they were trying to adjust the flights and we got stranded away from our kids. Overall it was not a great experience as far as their customer service and we were not happy with how they chose to handle things."
Nevýhody: "My flight was cancelled twice within 24 hours before takeoff. All I got was an email saying it was cancelled and a number where no one could help me. I spent over $40 international calls just to reschedule my flight, only to have to take a $80 cab to the airport to have a human help me. Worst customer service and worst experience. I was trying to get home after a natural disaster struck my hometown and Turkish Airlines actually made that experience even worse. At no point did anyone even apologize for cancelling two of my flights without another option until a full week later. I had to pay to fly myself home from Boston because they were so unhelpful. Would never recommend Turkish Airlines to anyone I know whn traveling internationally."

Nevýhody: "The family behind us had kids, they were yelling, kicking my seat and had a cat they were holding. I am highly allergic to cats and at first couldn't understand why I was coughing so much. I was very disappointed the staff did not make sure this animal was contained at the back of the plane."
Nevýhody: "You could be choose food... one of the dish was only pasta... what about the people who's allergic? I am... The business class crew was very stuck up! Totally looked down at people who wasn't in the business class... The Aircraft has no AC that you could adjust air blowing on you! It was incredibly hot the whole time !"
Výhody: "The in-flight entertainment was good and the flight attendants were very nice. They offered us small sandwiches and drinks during the flight so it was comfortable to fly with them."
Nevýhody: "You need to buy a visa if you want to enter the country and they only accept USD, Euros or GBP. The only currency exchange is on the other side of passport control so you have to use one of the ATMs and they only give you $100. The staff is unprofessional and seems clueless when you ask them for help. The kiosks are a nightmare and working with them is worse than working with the people. They freeze, and glitch and many of them just flat out don't work. Probably one of the worst airports I've ever been to."

A bus or other form of transportation should be provided to gates that are very far away. We were the last ones to board. Private security staff at the gate prior to boarding the bus to take us to the plane confiscated my Bluetooth headphones under the assumption that they fell under TSA's prohibited electronic devices (which they do not). When on board the plane, I noticed another passenger with similar headphones which were not confiscated- selective enforcement."

They have lovely serving crew so no one actually hesitates to ask or want something. They have helped me and my two toddlers along with 3 other similar families of an incredible amount to make sure they are all comfortable. No wonder that received the best airline of europe award for several years in a row...There was only a 20 minutes delay during take-off and we still arrived home a bit early... Very smooth flight, one that I still cant believe I had with my 2 toddlers. Strongly recommended."

After meals, most people took their own empty trays to return them behind (because the crew had not picked up after 30+ minutes). The meals arrived cold as well. My entertainment set froze after 4 hours in a 13 hours trip, and was not attended to after repeated calls. One conscientious Turkish stewardess was very helpful in the 9th hour (literally), even if the entertainment did not come back on. To top these, I was sandwiched between a teenager on front and teenagers on right, who were loud and generally weird (obviously not the airlines fault). So, it ended up being a mediocre experience overall."

I travel a lot so I just know that this person was lying and sure enough when everyone boarded, they were empty seats. I should have gotten her name because she was just plane lazy and unprofessional, it showed that she did not like her job. I paid an expensive Turkish plane ticket, so I deserve that courtesy and I would fully understand anyway if there were no seats at all but please don't even take your costumers like a fool."

Nevýhody: "I had to ask a neighboring passenger if her would allow me 20mins of my flight without his rear end in my face. He was a fairly large man and constantly bending over in the isle to chat with his family. His infant was being attended to by his wife who constantly paced around to shake the baby (I'm sure the baby was annoyed as well). The baby finally spat up on the floor and seat. Everyone in the family could not sit still more than 5mins at a time, jumping up, moving around, switching seats, passing items. The men turned the area into a social scene/bar. I was too distracted by all this activity hovering over me to enjoy reading or relaxing. I constantly had rear ends in my face, and I constantly had to dodge and lean in my seat. The aforementioned tall man even had the nerve to fold away my television monitor when I dozed off so that it would not be an obstruction for his activity. By then I'd had enough. The This flight was terrible. Non of the staff requested better conduct or mindfulness of the other passengers. I believe the airline should strongly consider having a separate space for large families, families with babies, or at least have a code of conduct to which passengers should respect for the sake of every paying customer's ability to enjoy such a long flight."
Výhody: "My suitcase was delayed, but I'd like to notice and appreciate efforts taken by Turkish airlines rep. at MIA to get it found and delivered in a timely manner. She also followed up asking if everything is fine with it. Thank you, guys!"
Nevýhody: "Rude young lady security officer in Istanbul airport, who forced me to start my laptop working like it's forbidden item to carry on. She talked with intonation like I did something wrong and she is thereto discover it. I believe better workplace for her would be to supervise some prisoners, not welcoming guests at international airports. All other officers (including other security control ones) were looking overwhelmed by work flow, but still polite and friendly."

At the last check point, 4 gates shared the same check point. We saw a line but no sign for it. So we went to the front to find out what the line was for and went back to join the line for security check. There were people who did the same thing but tried to cut in the line right at the check point, creating chaos."
Nevýhody: "Called to change date. Thy did not take credit card payment over the phone for a stupid reason. Asked me to go to a thy office no later than 10.30 am the next day. Every airline grabs the money, these "very smart" thy admin has developed rules to make passengers' life's inconvenient. Highly not recommended. Lousy airline. Broke my luggage on top of this on my flight from Miami to Istanbul. NOT recommended. Refrain from even suggesting thy to your customers. You have a good name."

Nevýhody: "Lufthansa cancelled my flight on November 23rd a few hours prior to departures because their pilots went on a strike. When I called and asked if they would rebook me the lady on the phone said that she could rebook for a trip that had two layovers from 2pm(Prague time) to 8:30pm(NYC time) for the 24th of November (thanksgiving). When I asked her if there was anything else she said that was the soonest flight she could find. When I checked my self I found and booked a flight for the 23rd. When I called back they refused to give me a refund."

This flight boarded from front and back. Making finding your seat a nightmare as people were traveling in both directions in the aisles. You would think you were in a third world country."

The crew ended up gate checking one for me in Frankfurt which was nice. But I would have paid not to carry that dumb thing around with me through the giant Frankfurt airport. Other than the one desk woman in Prague, everything else was good."

My other flights with Lufthansa had no problem with the same bag. We were transported by bus from the gate to the plane!?!? In the rain. And this was an international flight!?!? Attendants took 10 minutes to answer call button and then asked if it was a mistake. I asked for water to take meds as I was overlooked by beverage service. Another attendant walked up and said he had bypassed me as I was asleep. I showed him the snack package he had handed me and asked how had he given me snacks if I was asleep? He snapped back that he was sorry. I almost asked if he was sorry he was caught lying or sorry he was on board?"
