There were many cancelled flights from Heathrow due to crew shortages. I was glad our flight had just enough attendants to fly, but they worked very hard & remained polite & helpful. Very impressive
I attempted to cancel my flight due to positive covid case 10 days before I flew with chatdeal and kayak and after repeated calls from me and promises I would be called back and the chance of a credit note I heard nothing. No help, no support, no understanding. I lost £1500. Would never use again or recommend.
Had a brillant flight from LAX and the lady that check us in at LAX on the vs6848 flight to Manchester was outstanding ! And deserves recognition! She was patient with when we were paniced about us been late and havibg five chikdren under five...she kept us clam... reassured us and booked our bags..ensure my elderly mother had assistance and also waited for my husband who had gone to the toilet and jad got himself lost in the airport. Lounge in Heathrow is great. Staff aim to please and very courteous. The upper class seat is very narrow with no storage area. Strange seating position, no options to recline the seat while sitting up. Who thought that this was a good idea? IFE minimal. On borard Lavs shared with premium economy class.

Food was awful and made my friend sick."

The flight was long, so comfort would be nice! Our first flight was regular seats and I was pretty miserable and I am a slender woman 5'6". The extra 3" was great, and we had to pay more on the return trip. The FAA should be investigating seat size and safety on planes."

Nevýhody: "The planes are old and tired, new 787s on this route are long overdue. Thomson's premium service is an improved offering over Virgin and offers more inclusive extras such as lounge access. There is no wonder wall on the 747 only a wonder "basket" If you are flying from Gatwick, upgrading to premium isn't worth it. Go to upper class or fly with another airline. Check in was quicker for Economy passengers and it proved a challenge to work past the economy passengers during boarding to get to the premium agent."
Výhody: "Choice of movies was good, but told the flight over was better. I flew another airline. Had no issue checking one bag in for free, but I think that is standard on an international flight."
Nevýhody: "Entertainment systems take up foot/bag space underneath the seats. Was not able to get more than one glass of wine, even though I missed the first beverage service, that is my fault though, but I don't recall it being an issue getting a drink between services. Entertainment systems had contrast issues and it seemed like a lot of people 8 - 10 had issues since they were using iPads instead of the built in monitors. A lot of wear showing on the entertainment systems remotes."

If you stretched out under the seat in front you were ok but draw your knees up... I wore short trousers for comfort and have sore points on my knees where they rubbed against the material of the chair in front."

Once you finally get your sticker from them it’s a quick trip through customs. Then the pain really begins with a security scan st each individual gate to enter a boarding area for the plane. Then I was pulled for extra security where a male agent touched my but with some sort of swab with no warning. He then claimed to not speak English (with zero accent when I asked him a question). It was a humiliating and very long process all run by delta!"

The booking was through WestJet (found the flight on kayak which kicked me over to West Jet's site) and check in was a pain. Their code did not work for their site or Delta's, I had to FB message them both leaving and returning to ask for the correct one, and the first request took them hours to answer. I'll just book Delta next time and save myself the trouble."

Deplaning by row groups due to covid was a joke - we were then crammed into a bus to the Munich intl terminal. Wifi did not work at all on the 9 hr flight.

When I asked her if there was anything else she said that was the soonest flight she could find. When I checked my self I found and booked a flight for the 23rd. When I called back they refused to give me a refund."

Flight were delayed which made me miss all the other flights. Bags are still missing from 2 weeks ago. This airline is worse the Spirit Airlines!

Nevýhody: "I paid $90 for economy comfort for my flight and did not get an economy comfort seat. I am very disappointed with Finnair in this. They will not refund my money at the airport and now I need to go through their home office for a refund. It was bad enough not having any extra leg room on a red eye when you are over 6 feet tall but now I have to jump through hoops to get my money back."

Nevýhody: "Plane was late leaving Helsinki due to broken latch, which made us late getting into Chicago. After landing we waited at least 45 minutes to get to a gate. It took at least 30 minutes to get off the plane and then getting through customs was a nightmare. Arrival board at O'Hare said plane was on time, but listed gate as 0, which of course doesn't exist so our ride home had no idea what was going on or what was taking so long and ended up waiting over three hours for us to get through everything to meet them."

Výhody: "The original flight was canceled, the stroller was taken away when boarded the airplane, and not seen until final destination. With a 1-year-old and 2 and a half year old, this was the worst ever flight. Take us 35 hours total travel time to get home with 2 small kids, it is a nightmare."
Nevýhody: "The flight was cancelled and changed to 2 stops from one. We purchased a 1 stop flight because of the kids. In mid season a week before departure, we were notified about the change and it was impossible to get a same priced ticket so close to departure. We bought insurance but even with that was impossible. Looks like a scam. Very upsetting, messed up the whole thing."

Also was a delay because they're waiting for a some passenger from a connecting flight . Seats haven't enough leg room for person 5"8 but crew and food was amazing."

Nevýhody: "Connecting through Helsinki added hours to our travel time, but after flying American nonstop JFK to Paris on way over, may be worth it. American flight didn't even have individuals screens and blankets left fuzz all over my clothing."

Finally of the most irritating of all annoyance was that there was no movie. This was an international flight and there was no entertainment. I will never fly American Airlines again."

Further, these were the SMALLEST seats I have EVER been forced to sit in. Neither I, or my friend came close to fitting. We literally had to alternate getting up and standing because we were literally overlapping each other when we sat! (His shoulder and arm were literally on top of me!!). It was so bad that when the stewardess came rolling down the aisle with her cart, I had to be aware and see her in advance so I could literally TURN MY BODY OVER TO THE LEFT HALF ON TOP OF THE PERSON SITTING NEXT TO ME SO SHE WOULDN'T TAKE OFF MY ARM AND SHOULDER. ULTIMATELY, SOMEONE, OR MORE THAN ONE PERSON, IS GOING TO GET SERIOUSLY HURT BY THIS RECKLESS, GREED-DRIVEN DESIGN!! The OVERT GREED by the airline (American) clearly reflected by this in trying to JAM as many human beings into a flight as possible like Sardines is DISGUSTING!!! You simply DO NOT TREAT HUMAN BEINGS THIS WAY!! It is also clear evidence that there needs to be tighter standards, regulations and penalties by the FAA and what is allowed by airlines. AND I AM SENDING A LETTER TO THE FAA!!!"

Výhody: "I was very pleased with the overall experience on the flight from London to Charlotte. The flight itself was very pleasant, the crew very accommodating, & the food, snacks & beverages very good. The entertainment provided was certainly suitable for my tastes & kept me occupied for the majority of the trip. There was also blackout time provided for sleeping. The seats were a little cramped, but overall I rate my experience as very good."

My first flight was with American Airlines, they gave me a boarding pass, however for my leg with British Airways, I had to go get ANOTHER boarding pass to board the flight. This airline was very inconvenient and I felt scammed booking with them. I would not recommend this airline to anyone!"

Tried to get a better seat at airport, but BA ground crew did not even check and said flight was full. Yet my one of my fellow passengers was able to get window seat without extra pay 3 hours after I was denied. Sardine city for 7 hour flight that turned 8 hours."

Nevýhody: "A lot of stress: our 1st leg IAD to Dublin was cancelled, than we got 2 set of tickets rebooked. On the way back there was a stress since we had a "problem with the ticket" Apparently the Aer Lingus made all those mistakes."

From Prague we were on time, When boarding in London started we were told to sit down again claiming Boeing 777 had equipment problem and they were waiting for parts to fix it. Our departure was delayed by 1 hour. Seats in economy class are really cramped so when seats are declined person behind can not eat without banging head into the back rest. Difficult to get in and out of seat as well. Arm rests do not come all the way up so one has to squat to avoid being hit by arm rest. Not very pleasant on 11 hour long flight. Joe"

Nevýhody: "The check in process from Prague to London to Dallas was inefficient. Too few agents, minimal direction from the representative guiding the line. Also, there were no food/beverage option unless you paid for them! No coffee etc on a 650a flight unless it was purchased. Ridiculous"
Nevýhody: "Prague to London flight First I was surprised and disappointed to find out there were so many extra fees. They get you to buy the ticket with a cheaper price and then hit you with all the extra fees e.g. choosing a seat, luggage, food, drinks, you will pay for everything except the flight. The second thing is that when I did go to the BA website on 5 different occasions to pay for my luggage and in order to get a cheaper rate for doing it online before check-in, it gave me a message that the site to do it was not working and that I needed to pay for it at the airport check-in. When I went to check-in at the airport the ticket agent seemed annoyed that I had luggage to check in when I hadn't registered it online. When I told her that the site was down and I wasn't able to do it before hand, she showed no sympathy or understanding. Instead she proceeded to charge me for checking my luggage. It was an outrageous amount of over $80 USD. I have never in all my travels around the world been charged for my luggage. I only travel with one carry on and one medium size check luggage because of my extensive travel. I know charging for luggage may be something more airlines will start doing but I did not think that BA would be one of them. I also would have appreciated some compensation for theirsite being down and not being able to get a discount on the fee because I couldn’t check it online. I am extremely disappointed with my BA experience and will never fly with them again. That is unfortunate for them since I am in the process of traveling around the world for the next few years while writing a travel blog and book. I will definitely publish my review and experience in detail, which I am sure will influence my readers and followers."
Nevýhody: "flight delayed over 1.25 hours because we missed our runway time due to being "unable to get a head count" of the people that are on board. This should be embarrassing for BA. And i don't understand how after all the security, boarding pass and passport checks that you do not have an accurate head count of your passangers. Thus I missed my connecting flight and had to wait over 4 hours for another and got a measly 10 Euros as compensation. Also, they don't even give water for free, and a 200ml juice costs 1.5 Euros which a) its bad juice and b) overpriced. All food you now pay extra for, and they didnt even make it in time to the last few rows so even if Id want to purchase something, I couldn't."

Some USA carriers should take a look. It makes a difference. Even their donning hats and putting on suit jackets on landing made an impression on me. Thanks British Airways."
