Výhody: "Everything!! This airline is a huge breath of fresh (old?) air. It reminded me of how air travel used to be. No baggage charge - we only checked one bag. There was plenty of great food and drink - alcoholic drinks were free. We will definitely look to use SwissAir whenever possible."

Eventually I sat down on the edge of a place and a stewardess snapped at me. I've had back surgery recently, so all of this was very difficult. Finally given a seat. No internet--big drawback on overseas flights. On our trip there, one bathroom was a mess, plus out of toilet paper. Told the stewardess, and they closed it for a while--took some time for it to be attended to. The entertainment choices are VERY slim--don't know why a more extensive list of choices could not be made available."

Once you finally get your sticker from them it’s a quick trip through customs. Then the pain really begins with a security scan st each individual gate to enter a boarding area for the plane. Then I was pulled for extra security where a male agent touched my but with some sort of swab with no warning. He then claimed to not speak English (with zero accent when I asked him a question). It was a humiliating and very long process all run by delta!"

Nevýhody: "Flight delays cause cascade of irritable passengers. Flight out of Phoenix delayed due to late departure from previous location. We were told mechanical reasons was the cause of the delay. This caused many passengers to miss their connecting flight in Atlanta. When we arrived after midnight, one gate person was attempting to help 50 people with morning connecting flights and room accommodations. The airline knew 3 hours prior that they would have tired, hungry, frustrated passengers. To then have to wait more than an hour in a line to get a bed and or a meal was too much for most people. There were other smaller examples of how Delta's staff or procedures were not customer centric. I will avoid Delta for travel in the future, and I am getting out of their stock."
Nevýhody: "Our flight was originally scheduled for departure at 7:45 PM. We got an alert stating that the flight was going to be delayed but we were already almost to the airport when I received the first message on my smartphone. We received three additional alerts making our total wait time at the airport 5½ hours before we could approach the gate and board the aircraft. Seating in immediate gate area was not comfortable. Boarding was chaotic at best with very little control and guidance provided by Delta staff. The audio over the PA system was difficult to decipher much of the time. The only other available boarding status information was presented on the screens stationed near the gate and indicated PREMIUM the entire time during our boarding process and was never updated. We literally had to scramble through the crowd to get to the gate desk and get our boarding passes validated so we could board our flight with our group of passengers. Our seating on board the aircraft was thankfully good which is why I rated Comfort as Okay. We were saddled with one more delay after the flight left the gate and taxied briefly down the runway and then sat there for almost an hour. My suggestions to improve customer satisfaction based on my experience would include the following 1. Provide extended alerts for passengers travelling especially if the anticipated delay is known to the airline more than 2 hours before scheduled flight time. 2. Improve seating in the waiting areas near all Delta gates. 3. Re-orient all staff in proper boarding process and utilizing all available resources properly to provide clear and intelligible (not speeding) overhead audio messaging and current boarding status prompts on displays. 4. Maintain or replace audio equipment if necessary to help improve quality of audio messaging in all boarding areas."

Once I got my seat assignment I thought I had a window seat: however, when I boarded the plane, I realized that I was in the very last seat of the plane in the window position, but no window. I was crammed in next to a wall and claustrophobic the whole way as I couldn't see anything, couldn't recline at all because behind me was the bathroom, and the engine roared at times in my ears to where I couldn't hear the passenger next to me when we tried to have conversation as the engine was right outside my "wall". We joked, when we could hear each other, that we must've pissed someone at Delta off the last time we flew them. I have no idea why I had to get my seat assignment at the gate for this particular flight, or why I was put in the 'flying coffin' seat, but it made for a very unpleasant experience. Why even have that seat in the plane? Everyone pays a lot of money to fly these days and deserves better than that seat when doing so. just take those two seats out and give everyone else a little more leg room = much better passenger experience for everyone...my suggestion if Delta really cares about the quality of passenger experience."

My original flight was canceled and rebooked which I understood. The second flight was canceled without notification. The customer service rep would not allow me to fly into another airport due to a hurricane in my destination city. He also hung up the phone on me when I requested to speak with someone in the refund department.
Food was the most mediocre I have experienced on a transatlantic flight. Crew and staff were superb. Comfort was OK. For the first time ever, my luggage was misplaced between Lufthansa change of flight number and a replacement United flight.
I will never fly with them again. Boarding experience was awful, food was awful, entertainment system did not work throughout the whole flight, the people in the airport were terrible especially in security
Boarding in Munich is so did organized.

When I asked her if there was anything else she said that was the soonest flight she could find. When I checked my self I found and booked a flight for the 23rd. A mad rush of people scramble down 2 flights of stairs, then are crammed on a tandem bus that drives out to the plane. You then cross the Tarmac in all types of weather to board. This flight boarded from front and back. Making finding your seat a nightmare as people were traveling in both directions in the aisles. You would think you were in a third world country."

However that was not the worst part of the arrangement between getting off the Aer Lingus plane and with so little time to reach the gate for our BA flight to Denver it was a total disaster. Due to a minor problem my wife had with her foot I had asked for a wheel-chair to be available when we got off the plane at Heatrow. Good job that I did because with out their help we would never have made it in time for your flight to Denver. Between up and down in elevators, running along the corridors, in and out of a bus and I myself trying to catch up with those poor attendants. I was sorry that I did not get a second wheel chair for my self. Only for the flight was delayed by about 20 minutes we would have missed the flight. Who ever was responsible for making the arrangements of just allowing a time of 1 hour and 10 minutes between flights needs to figure out a better time schedule before people of our age ends up getting stressed out and end up with a heart attack. Very stressful indeed, believe I will never let this happen to me again. Fly/Us you need to fix this."

Because of that, I got a crappy seat. Another man and I stood outside of a bathroom for 15 minutes waiting for someone to come out, and we finally discovered that a flight attendant had locked it from the outside because of turbulence and forgot to open it. My checked bag was tagged with the priority sticker. I had a tight connection to catch a bus once I got to Boston. My bag came out of the carousel exactly 15 minutes after the first bag came out. That’s priority???"
Výhody: "There wasn't much to like about this flight! The seats were comfortable and we had plenty of leg room but we paid extra for that leg room! Nothing more good can I say about this experience!!!"
Nevýhody: "Loading for departure was almost 45 minutes late. The plane had been at the gate for at least 3 hours. Many varying excuses were given. Once boarding started, it was stopped again for mechanical problems with the plane. Each announcement assured us that no one would miss connections in Dublin!! Plane was loaded and doors were closed and secured....then we sat in the plane for over an hour without moving. Still experiencing mechanical problems. Now there was no way to get off or rebook a flight. The ENTERTAINMENT system did NOT work on the plane!! Landing in Dublin we were told to see agent at the gate if we missed our connecting flight to get info on our re directed connection. If we had not been rebooked, go to a room off the baggage area to be rebooked and then get our baggage. There was no one at the gate, the person in the room that we were directed to could not do anything, the baggage carousel broke down twice and our luggage was diverted to a different carousel with no indication that it had been moved. We had to go thru customs and go down to be re ticketed for a different flight. We waited in a long line for a hour to try to get a new flight to Hamburg. There was another 2 flights that could get us to Hamburg in time to make it to our destination But the Aer Lingus did not have a reciprocal agreement with that airline. Aer Lingus could NOT get us to Hamburg in time for us to make our connection there! The Aer Lingus agent told us that her only job was to get us to Hamburg and nothing more! Anything beyond that was our problem. We missed our 10 cruise because of the excessive delays, excuses and incorrect information given by your agents!!!! We are seasoned travelers and have never experienced such terrible service! Our trip back to the States from Dublin with Aer Lingus was just as terrible! Communication is NOT one of their strong points. We were boarded on he plane and sat for an hour and a half before asked to de board the plane. The plane had been damaged by the skywalk. We were told that food vouchers would be given for lunch and that we were not allowed to leave that wing of the terminal. It took 45 minutes for anyone to meet the passengers with the vouchers. These vouchers did not, in any way, cover the cost of a lunch. We were called to line up for boarding before most even had a chance to get in an order at the food counter. Everyone hurried to get in line and it was 3 hours later before we were allowed to board the plane!?! This does not make one want to fly again soon with this airline!"

The airplane hadn't been cleaned in a while as was evident by extremely sticky and smelly tray tables in our row."
Nevýhody: "Aer Lingus personnel were incompetent and inefficient. Most were more interested in chatting with coworkers than actually assisting customers. Seats had not been assigned despite my previous assurance from EA customer service folks, and special meal requests for my wife and child had not been added to our booking record. Calling Aer Lingus almost always requires you to hold 30 minutes before anyone answers. Again, I suspect they are just as disinterested in helping customers as the ground personnel."

Since the airport I was in didn't have an Aer Lingus desk, I spent an hour on hold with Aer Lingus. I never spoke to a single person. Online there existed an option to change to a later flight, which would've cost €350 per ticket (I paid €160 per ticket originally). When I arrived at an airport with an Aer Lingus desk, they said there was nothing they could do for me and I had forfeited my tickets by not showing up on time. Long story short, this a second rate company with terrible customer service and support who are willing to take your money without offering anything in return."

I put on my call light to ask about purchasing (which means I’m spending money) ear buds & she made me wait another hour & a half. Not one single passenger I spoke to had anything nice to say about Iceland Air."

When our checked bag was over weight limit, we were told we'd have to ship it as cargo; when asked how to do that, we were told it 'wasn't their problem'. Luckily, we had 2 other bags that we could redistribute contents, as there was a total of 3 of us traveling together. Not impressed with company customer service. Flight crew was great."

There were many long lines - first border patrol (only 3 agents), then customs (1 agent), then - and I have never seen this before - we all had to go through security again, as if at departures (1 scanner and metal detector) and leave our bags to be checked again. Then it became clear why - we had to walk through the length of the domestic gate area. We had to meet our bags again at baggage claim (after more waiting). The plane touched down at 7:15 and I did not leave the airport till 9:00."
