It also does not help when the attendants would not want to disturb a sleeping but have no problem allowing us to eat off a tray with our forehead touching the back of the seat in front. This happened to me on the entire journey on Swiss from Miami to Zurich to Cape Town. It is almost a health hazard not being able to move and forget about trying to even use a laptop because when the person in front recline her seat, you have no room to even type (and my laptop was only a 13 inch Mac.) I am a million miler on United and this is one of the most miserable flights that I have taken. I also don't like the fact that we cannot get seat assignments until 23 hours before departure- not even for preferred travelers."

The crew the flight was excellent but the Atlanta check in desk really dropped the ball 2 times . The first leg of the trip, flying from ft Lauderdale to atlanta was ok except for the pilot having to circle around bc he was too close to the airplane in front to land. This made us supposedly late to our connecting flight which by the way was not supposed to leave before 8:10. My husband and I arrived at the gate about 10 minutes before only to be told that the door was locked. Needless to say, we weren't the only ones. When we got up to the desk, the attendant was extremely rude. I was having a conversation with my husband about a dog that had just passed us . She immediately made her way into the conversation asking me what i was saying. I told her I was talking to my husband about the dog and under her breath said : " I'm sure you were." I then told her that i was more than sure about what I was talking about. We get booked on another flight and my seat was the only one without a working monitor. We asked the suitardess to see o If there was anything that could be done They tried to reset it to no avail. Since we didn't say anything else, it was forgotten about. My husband shared his screen with me so that I wasn't totally bored on the flight. Not the way I wanted to start off my birthday but I'm glad that nightmare is over Delta really needs to retrain their employees on customer service bc it leaves a lot to be desired!"
Výhody: "What I USED to like was the no hassle, no problems getting the tickets right through landing on the tarmac."
Nevýhody: "I had a family emergency and because I had used a mileage ticket (as opposed to a paid ticket) I was told that I needed to give them 72 hours notice. I tried to explain that I had no control over the situation. It fell on deaf ears. I was so upset and frustrated that I could barely speak. My miles are now lost as the entire round trip ticket was cancelled and I have no way to regain all those miles that I wasted. It was the first time Delta did not come through for me and I must say, it's left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I couldn't believe that there isn't some provision (there is if I had paid for my ticket) and have lost all those miles that I use to fly Delta. So much for customer service."

However, there were a large amount of people on the flight with connecting flights coming into Detroit. I am POSITIVE that several of those people missed their connecting flights as the flight attendants and crew did not allow for them to leave the plane first. As people seem to be so self-centered anymore, the attendants should have announced that people were not to leave until all passengers with connecting flights had left the plane. Very sad that people can't use common courtesy all by themselves, but as they can't, it should have been enforced by the team on the plane."

Nevýhody: "Luftansa cancelled my flight due to impending hurricane. Because of announced airport closure, I decided to go on August 31 on the only flight available which was Iceland air. I had to pay $4200 for the flight. My flight back to Orlando is on September 9 on Iceland air. How can you compensate me?"

Crew seemed lazy...they would not bring water to travelers very often...and when I called a flight attendant with the button call and politely asked if I could have some water, she seemed pretty annoyed and told me I can just stand up and go take my water in the back where they store food. NOT A GOOD SERVICE FOR $2,500!!!! It’s outrageous!! Seats become smaller and smaller...and you keep asking about my experience...$2,500 to travel seating in a miniature seat with no leg room is a bit much...and I know no flight company cares about this...we have no choice...either take that or don’t travel, right?"

Nevýhody: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

There wasn’t any compensation for the inconvenience of having to change of plans of staying around the house waiting for luggage when we paid for hotel rooms and we didn’t get a refund on our trip we couldn’t take. When we knew flights from Frankfurt to München ran daily. Very disappointed. Byron becker we flew from Florida Orlando fo Munich Germany and paid a high price for traveling. Also we were bumped three times fro, Frankfurt to. Much each time on standby. Very disappointed. Sorry but this is the truth."

Výhody: "Getting off! Ok, i have to use 50 characters... i also liked the check-in counter staff in Orlando."
Nevýhody: "I have flown on many budget airlines that were more comfortable than this flight. Hard uncomfortable chairs with a lack of leg space (and I'm only 1.70m). The food was poor and the service was worse- i pressed my call button for a drink mid-flight and it kept getting cancelled without a steward coming. Finally, after pressing the call button about 10 times a steward came and begrudgingly brought me a drink. Choice of movies was poor."

One floor up we had to go thru security to reach customer service. 100 people lined up for customer service from 3 Austrian airline reps. After 2 hours of standing, there were still 27 people ahead of me. The woman behind me gave me the local phone number for Austrian airlines and I was able to get on a flight to US leaving in 30 minutes. I managed to make it, and would not have had I waited another hour in line. Why no surge of staff to help? All 3 help numbers on my Lufthansa e-mail receipt could not help. Horrible experience."

Had to attempt to cram in sideways - resulting in serious pain by the time the flight finally landed. Intercom system, especially from the captain, was painfully grating and loud. Boarding was extremely slow, in part because gate personnel made no effort whatsoever to police and enforce the four-group boarding process (premium - no carry-on - group A - group B). People boarded whenever they felt like it, many carrying on huge backpacks and multiple other pieces. Will definitely avoid TAP in future."

May as well have saved the money and used the terminal facilities No in flight magazine available to my seat for on board purchases and very little choice off goods on offer."

Afterwards we saw the crew eating while we were left with no food or drink service. It turns out they could have served but preferred to adhere to their union under the guise of passenger safety and remain seated the entire flight doing crossword puzzles and the like which definitely made me feel much safer."
