I would not have changed anything… It was a perfect fight
I was very impressed with this airline. The flight was comfortable the plane was clean and the attendants were very nice. The zipper on my suitcase broke after I checked it. The airline wrapped it in plastic wrap, so it wouldn’t continue to fall apart. Every item I had in the suitcase was there when I got to Los Angeles. That is above and beyond!
Výhody: "We had to come home 2 weeks early due to the virus, and Singapore airlines were brilliant at changing the flights. Even got upgraded to the extra leg room for free"
Nevýhody: "The extra leg room seats were naff, I like getting comfy in a chair and these ones were not. The screen was too far away and the arm rests didn’t move. Also, due to my partner having to swap seats, I was sat on my own next to strangers. They slept the whole way, so the crew never disturbed them meaning I missed out on food and drinks, even when asked"
Výhody: "Crews were great. Seats space could be better ... overall caring & attentiveness of crew members make a lot of difference."

Výhody: "It's not the cheapest way to fly but it's a great way to cross the Atlantic. Seats are big enough for 2, really. Lay flat beds make the night crossing east tolerable. You really can get several hours sleep. The cabin crew is outstanding, patient, and extremely responsive to requests. Two meals served were excellent. Entertainment choices were complete. After a number of flights in Economy on other airlines I'm spoiled by Singapore Airlines and also by Business Class. And their fares seemed much less than others for the JFK to FRA route. Had no idea this level of luxury existed on an airplane."
Nevýhody: "My seat assignment was moved without explanation on our return flight, FRA to JFK. That was disappointing. The gate folks were apologetic but no real explanation given."

If Hong Kong makes you do that switch over to another airport, better yet make no halt. I have flown direct from SF to Singapore before so not sure why this halt."

Call button brought no help , had to get up and go retrieve steward in back myself!"

Nevýhody: "Food was the worst I've had on a European flight. I ordered special food that had n0 preservatives because of my stomach ailment. I got Molly's special pre packed horrible food all through the flight filled with preservatives and prepackaged. I therefore didn't eat anything. They kept giving me kosher food on top of it . That was worse. I did not order kosher food! So on my entire flight, I ate nothing. The hostess finally found a left over but it was horrible as well. A tiny salad with plain head lettuce, not like the Lufthasa food. This continued into breakfast. Molly food was unhealthy and inedible. I ate one piece of packaged cheese for the entire journey."

Nevýhody: "The space between rows are uncomfortably narrow (and I am a short person). It also does not help when the attendants would not want to disturb a sleeping but have no problem allowing us to eat off a tray with our forehead touching the back of the seat in front. This happened to me on the entire journey on Swiss from Miami to Zurich to Cape Town. It is almost a health hazard not being able to move and forget about trying to even use a laptop because when the person in front recline her seat, you have no room to even type (and my laptop was only a 13 inch Mac.) I am a million miler on United and this is one of the most miserable flights that I have taken. I also don't like the fact that we cannot get seat assignments until 23 hours before departure- not even for preferred travelers."

Výhody: "What I USED to like was the no hassle, no problems getting the tickets right through landing on the tarmac."
Nevýhody: "I had a family emergency and because I had used a mileage ticket (as opposed to a paid ticket) I was told that I needed to give them 72 hours notice. I tried to explain that I had no control over the situation. It fell on deaf ears. I was so upset and frustrated that I could barely speak. My miles are now lost as the entire round trip ticket was cancelled and I have no way to regain all those miles that I wasted. It was the first time Delta did not come through for me and I must say, it's left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I couldn't believe that there isn't some provision (there is if I had paid for my ticket) and have lost all those miles that I use to fly Delta. So much for customer service."

Delta has a new policy that these tickets are not allowed to have certain privileges that tickets purchased on their own site have. Unbeknown to us, one of these is the ability to select your seat. On the ride from CVG to FLL we were assigned seats in the back of the plane, but at least we were next to each other. On the way back, we were not assigned a seat at all. We arrived to the airport almost 4 hours before the flight and were still not assigned a seat and were told we would have to speak to the gate agent. Even we when spoke to the gate agent, they still did not have a seat. It was not until we had already started the boarding process that they called us up and told us that we were going to be sitting 5 rows apart, both in a middle seat."

In addition, we are traveling with an infant which isn't easy but we had the bassinet seat on our original flight. Now it's sold out for the flight tomorrow and no one will assist in trying to help get us better seats. I understand things are out of your companies control but being in an airport with an 18-month baby isn't easy and no one in this company has made this crazy travel schedule easier. I would like someone to call me back or email me with something that could maybe be done to help us! No one at the call center will help!"

This was mainly because the cabin crew kept the temperature of the plane almost like a sauna. Sweating, opened shirt, rolled up the sleeves, impossible to get comfortable or get any sleep!! The plane just seemed to get hotter and hotter! This was on all four segments across and back! The local flights seemed to be a bit better, and while not as cool as I personally like, they were acceptable. For clarification I am a premier flyer with star alliance, primarily United, and fly close to 100,000 miles per year. To date I have received NO mileage credit for any Turkish Airline flight!"

He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."
