I did the next day. The same representative looked me in the eye after advising the day before and said there’s nothing she could do. Why make an elderly sick person drive to the airport again if you know already you cannot help??Absolutely terrible experience, no help from the airline or travel agency. Total loss of the full price of the ticket."

I had to wait there instead of enjoying my vacation to wait for my bag. The bag did not arrive until 10:30 pm. I did not have my clothes or belongings with me all day. Swiss Air in particular needs to update their overhead compartment regulations, as my bag definitely would have fit there, and could have avoided this entire situations."

If that’s how Turkish Airline treats their customers, they shouldn’t be operating. It was the last time I use this airline. No dignity or humanity, it’s all only about the money. And when I took the stroller with my son. They made me package the stroller by myself looking that I had my son on me crying and when I asked for help they said that they can’t help me... unbelievable... they see me with 2 carryons a stroller and a baby and they can’t help me."

The lady flight attendant for my section was very attentive and friendly. When I came out of the bathroom, I accidentally interrupted one male flight attendant from doing his job, he politely gestured which reassured me that he would be right with me when he was done with what he was doing. I asked him if they had any heartburn or antiacids available which they didn't. These 2 interactions with the flight attendants made the flight very enjoyable."

They are worst airline I have ever used and will never use it again."

This caused a big problem for me in the airport, where I: 1- Wasn't allowed to catch my flight ti Vinnea and this was both financial and time lost for me. 2- I was locked in Dussluff airport for more than 14 hours, I was threatened to be sent back to USA or any other country. This caused physiological damage for me, as I been treated like an animal 3- I was asked to pay for my new ticket ( Dussloff - Istanbul-Amman )"

Nevýhody: "The person sitting next to me on my right side was disrespectful and putting his head and legs up on my seat even after I told him not to do that and even spoke with the flight attendant. I felt uncomfortable with his behavior and the way it was managed by just telling him not to do that. I asked for a different seat but wasn't moved. For the price I paid for the seat and his behavior of taking up my spot and the empty spot in between us (he took up 2 chairs because he was laying down to sleep) I was very disappointed and uncomfortable during the flight."

Nevýhody: "The amount of space at the rear of the aircraft is incredibly limited. I was sitting in row 57 and due to the narrowing of the fuselage toward the back, the seats are narrower, some without arm rests and people going to the back of the aircraft keep bumping into seated passengers. Leg room as incredibly limited. This is not acceptable for a major airline. The terminal at Newark is rather old and not the cleanest. Due to the lack of clear communication, most passenger were confused at to the order of boarding."

The entertainment system had many movies that were neither dubbed into nor subtitled in English or any other language I understood (such as Goodbye, Lenin, a film I love and have seen with subtitles). The gluten-free meal was bland, perhaps to be expected but as it was my first time ordering one, I wouldn't have known what to expect."
Nevýhody: "Worst of all was the cold, unconcerned manner of a young woman who did most of the attending the crowd of delayed passengers at the counter. I don't ask for abject deference, but she seemed unmoved by our plight and was cold bordering on unpleasant when dealing with different passengers' delay dilemmas. This young woman was American of African descent; for the record, I am as well, which made me think she just took a dislike to me, but she didn't appear to be much nicer to anyone else and just could not be bothered in the midst of the nearly three-hour delay, a major hassle for everyone including the airline. For what it's worth, her name starts with an N. (I didn't have my contacts on) Another major fail was the Lufthansa crew's assurance ahead of the flight that we would be rebooked on later flights after missing our connections. This promise was made rather breezily; clearly those making it in New York didn't have to deal with the business end of a tired, disgruntled crowd trying to cope with the fallout of missed connections. Once we got to Frankfurt, there was one lady holding a sign aloft; the sign bore the names of presumably first or business class passengers who would be shuttled to their new gates. That lady impatiently waved people from the steerage (aka economy) mob away and towards three overwhelmed Lufthansa agents helping people locate their new flights and gates. The gentleman who helped me sent me, and, I'm guessing, quite a few of my hapless fellow travellers, to gate A13 to collect my new boarding pass. Not knowing the airport at all, I followed a set of signs that took me through a monorail to an access area that - surprise! - I could not enter with my outdated boarding pass. Finally an airport official helped the group of A13-bound passengers to the Lufthansa check-in counter, where yet another Lufthansa agent disappointed in his dealing of the situation. Had I not stated that I refused to queue up or to countenance my long-suffering fellow passengers doing so, he would have had us wait in line, including one young woman about to miss a second flight. The agent at the desk was very friendly, but all in all I found the airline's responsiveness to the evolving situations of its steerage passengers (a significant chunk of its income) a great disappointment. I don't expect I'll give the airline a second chance. There's too much good service to be had from Arabian Gulf-based airlines at comparable fares."

Výhody: "First and foremost, I appreciate the crew refusing to take off until the broken valve was absolutely perfect. Although this took well over an hour after we were supposed to take off, my priority was to come home safely to my kids. So thank you for making that happen!"
Nevýhody: "As a result of the broken valve, we were all sitting on the runway past 9:30 or so. It would have been nice to be offered a cup of tea or snack in that time. Additionally, the video screen assigned to my seat was not working properly. It was a touch screen, and something was malfunctioning. Perhaps someone can keep a closer eye on these details."

And everytime one them passes by, they will knock me awake. I was extremely tired and tried hard to sleep yet they kept waking me up every time one of them passes by, no matter how skinny they were! Totally unprofessional."

Nevýhody: "The other travelers were loud rude and didn't listen to instructions. Also clapping loudly upon landing and it's very annoying. Parents don't take responsibility for their children."
Nevýhody: "My parents were traveling, they dont speak english and I verified with Austrian airlines that they would be assisted at the gates and that they had the correct visas for each airport they had a layover in. I was assured there would be no problems. Upon boarding they were not able to get on their flight. I have never had so many communication issues and frustrations in the middle of the night with an airline. disappointed."

Nevýhody: "The gate was older, not well appointed and far from shops and better dining. We lined up only to be taken on a very long shuttle ride to the plane. I have had this experience before but in this case the planes location was virtually on the other side of the terminal. By the time all were boarded, the plane was late by about 15 minutes to takeoff, and we experienced more delay after that so that on arrival we were an hour delayed. Many missed connections in Vienna as a result. Crew seemed tense and on edge."
Nevýhody: "Lufthansa’s/Austrian Airlines’s idea of a ‘snack’ is a pathetic little bag of sugar and chemicals that no one should have to be offered, even if it comes for free. Hugely disappointed. Flight attendants not attentive enough, and it took forever for the flight attendant to come after I’ve pressed the call button. Overall impression: meh! First time flying Austrian, but next time I’ll probably book with their competitors if prices are similar."
Výhody: "Nothing, we never got to go on our flight to Vienna. The only good thing is the manager, Servando, found us an alternative route after some delay. Even then, we had to haggle and really fight for fair treatment for a mistake that was 100% the airline's fault."
Nevýhody: "Our seats were involuntarily given away by the airport staff. We were never notified until we were scanning our tickets to board in. At that time, we had already checked in and received our boarding passes, as well as checking in 3 bags while we were traveling with a large group. There was no way we wanted to volunteer our seats, especially since we had a transfer flight to catch. We clearly stated we did NOT want to volunteer our seats at the ticket counter. No staff notified us until we were about to get on the plane to board. The flight supervisor was very rude and unprofessional, offering us no alternative solutions. I was really disappointed with such a grievous mistake by the airline, and I would not recommend flying Austrian Airlines unless it was absolutely the only airline available. They need to fix their processes for authorizing when they volunteer a passenger's seat. This caused our group a lot of stress and almost became a logistical nightmare."

Nevýhody: "First I lost my United Airlines flight because of security reasons. I checked in Guatemala but I was delayed at the Airport's security too long, it was beyond my control. Consequently I got to the boarding gate right when they were closing. Consequently I lost all my connections from then on. The United Airlines was very empathizing with me and my situation and they issued me other boarding passes at no cost. United Airlines suggested me to tell the Austrian Airlines about what happened and they were sure the Austrian Airlines would understand but they were wrong; no understanding on behalf of the Austrian Airlines."

I did not fly back with them and at check in the three seats were confirmed on a boarding pass printed at their departure location. Upon checking in on the connecting flight in Vienna, the seat assignment had been completely disregarded and three seats located 10+ aisles apart were given to a family traveling together??????? This makes no sense and must be due to booking through a third party. Unacceptable and not worth the $40 per ticket savings."

Nevýhody: "Aircraft was older 777 and lavatories weren't very clean. Upon landing in Vienna, my mobility walker (tagged to be brought up to me at jetway) was sent to my connecting flight to Sophia. The flight crew refused to intercept it and have it brought up to me at the aircraft. To make matters much, much worse, the flight crew eventually gave up and left, leaving me LOCKED inside the jetway for over 30 minutes after calling for a wheelchair. The replentishment crew refused to let me out of the locked jetway. Only after the wheelchair arrived was I let out of the locked jetway. I was taken to the Austrian Airlines service center where I lodged a formal complaint. Supervisor/Rene refused to upgrade my seat in any fashion to compensate for my distress. He did, however, arrange for me to given access to the VIP lounge and then taken to my VIE-SOF gate. Had I had a shorter layover, I would have missed my connecting flight."
Nevýhody: "I did my fligh because I was in the hospital I have send a mail to kayak and to the agent I have booked the flight with No one got back to me yet!!!!!!!"
Výhody: "When you travel with an infant it's already a difficult trip but it's really fraustrating when you find out that they didn't assign you to the seats with the baby bassanet, and when I went to the counter to fix the problem instead they change our window seats to an isle seats without even asking or notifying us with the changes, and they when I asked how come you don't automatically assign infant reservations to infant seats their excuse was what if there were more infants than available infant seats and they already gave out those seats with extended leg space to others who already had paid for it, and surprisingly there were multiple of infants on board none of them in those seats but rather the other passengers who paid for it, so basically they got paid extra and you will only suffer for almost 10 hrs so they can make extra profit. NEVER AGAIN AUSTRIAN AIRLINES!!!"
