Nevýhody: "Too much nonsense with carry on and check in language. I paid for my seat but they changed it for better balance of the plain. Really I weigh 165 lbs. Once the plane reaches altitude they let me take my seat. However the plane was barely occupied and somebody with closer and took my seat."

Nevýhody: "The real reason for the negative review is a combination of the cost of this flight, loss of my baggage and poor service after the flight. I paid nearly $4,500 for an economy ticket from New York to New Delhi. The first leg of the flight, from New York to Zurich was delayed long enough that I made my connecting flight to Delhi within seconds of them closing the gate and as a result my baggage was lost. Once I got to Delhi I had to take a connecting flight to Goa and then drive an hour to my destination, where I was attending a good friend's wedding. All of my baggage was lost during transit by the airline, and unfortunately they never delivered by baggage to my hotel...so I was without formal clothes and normal clothes for the wedding for 4 days. The customer service line was no help, and the airline refused to deliver the baggage to me...the closest they would bring it was the Goa airport which was an hour and a half away."

I was telling a friend today, Swiss Air started with drinks, gave us a Parisian baguette sandwich, gave us a healthy breakfast of yoghurt warm croissant butter jam orange juice, drinks again, and several passengers surrounding me got special attention, one woman with a baby, a disabled person, and a teenager that was 6'5" was relaocated by the flight attendant without him even asking to a bulkhead seat for more comfort. You don't see this kind a attention to detail on any US flights or US airlines, so I noticed it. It was as if I was traveling back in the 70's or 80's when Airlines would compete for our dollars with their service. I mentioned to my friend that if I had a choice and Swiss Air was one of the choices, I'd choose Swiss Air over any other airline."

Výhody: "The flight attendant told me I had to keep my seat upright throughout dinner so the person behind me could eat. I wanted to sleep and couldn't do so without reclining. The seats are tight but I was in the economy plus section so I thought she should have let me recline instead of physically moving my seat upright. And for someone who cared so much about the seat at dinner no one cared about me the rest of the flight. I slept through breakfast and no one left me a tray even. Plus, I had my seat back the rest of the flight including landing which I didn't realize. Isn't it their job to ensure our seats are in upright positions in case we forget or don't realize? Just a very blasé crew."

I was then rerouted through Istanbul with the promise that I would be well compensated for my troubles. I was told that I would receive a certain amount for every hour I was delayed from my original arrival at end destination. Well I arrived 8 or more hours after I had originally expected (and the reason I booked with Swiss Air was because of the timing and the apparent luxury of the flight). Once I got back home and tried to pursue this amazing compensation I received some of the worst customer service ever and received 0 compensation for the experience. Very disappointed and will never fly swiss airlines again."

My experience with Turkish airlines has very disappointing. The crew members were not polite during the flight, I had kindly requested for a cup of water, three times! But I had not received a single cup, I will not be flying Turkish airlines again.

The flight is canceled due to bad weather, no available flight next day, had to change destination the next day and pay extra money to go to Los Angeles

I got confused about flight time and day missed my flight and rescheduled it for another day they charged me again $260. Even I tried to call the airline 4 hours before nobody answered me . I don’t have time now to fight this case but I think it’s not fair…

Third, I had pre-ordered a diabetic meal, they “think they may have given it to someone else.” Fourth, one hour delay making for a tight connection. And finally... they lost my suitcase. Should arrive in a few days."

I felt uncomfortable with his behavior and the way it was managed by just telling him not to do that. I asked for a different seat but wasn't moved. For the price I paid for the seat and his behavior of taking up my spot and the empty spot in between us (he took up 2 chairs because he was laying down to sleep) I was very disappointed and uncomfortable during the flight."

Kayak seems to do this frequently, and as a customer it is confusing and disappointing."
Výhody: "Great entertainment package. IFE was great, large screen, with a variety of choices. Lavatories are very spacious on A340-600 (lower deck)"
Nevýhody: "The amount of space at the rear of the aircraft is incredibly limited. I was sitting in row 57 and due to the narrowing of the fuselage toward the back, the seats are narrower, some without arm rests and people going to the back of the aircraft keep bumping into seated passengers. Leg room as incredibly limited. This is not acceptable for a major airline. The terminal at Newark is rather old and not the cleanest. Due to the lack of clear communication, most passenger were confused at to the order of boarding."

The gluten-free meal was bland, perhaps to be expected but as it was my first time ordering one, I wouldn't have known what to expect."
Nevýhody: "Worst of all was the cold, unconcerned manner of a young woman who did most of the attending the crowd of delayed passengers at the counter. I don't ask for abject deference, but she seemed unmoved by our plight and was cold bordering on unpleasant when dealing with different passengers' delay dilemmas. This young woman was American of African descent; for the record, I am as well, which made me think she just took a dislike to me, but she didn't appear to be much nicer to anyone else and just could not be bothered in the midst of the nearly three-hour delay, a major hassle for everyone including the airline. For what it's worth, her name starts with an N. (I didn't have my contacts on) Another major fail was the Lufthansa crew's assurance ahead of the flight that we would be rebooked on later flights after missing our connections. This promise was made rather breezily; clearly those making it in New York didn't have to deal with the business end of a tired, disgruntled crowd trying to cope with the fallout of missed connections. Once we got to Frankfurt, there was one lady holding a sign aloft; the sign bore the names of presumably first or business class passengers who would be shuttled to their new gates. That lady impatiently waved people from the steerage (aka economy) mob away and towards three overwhelmed Lufthansa agents helping people locate their new flights and gates. The gentleman who helped me sent me, and, I'm guessing, quite a few of my hapless fellow travellers, to gate A13 to collect my new boarding pass. Not knowing the airport at all, I followed a set of signs that took me through a monorail to an access area that - surprise! - I could not enter with my outdated boarding pass. Finally an airport official helped the group of A13-bound passengers to the Lufthansa check-in counter, where yet another Lufthansa agent disappointed in his dealing of the situation. Had I not stated that I refused to queue up or to countenance my long-suffering fellow passengers doing so, he would have had us wait in line, including one young woman about to miss a second flight. The agent at the desk was very friendly, but all in all I found the airline's responsiveness to the evolving situations of its steerage passengers (a significant chunk of its income) a great disappointment. I don't expect I'll give the airline a second chance. There's too much good service to be had from Arabian Gulf-based airlines at comparable fares."

Nevýhody: "As a result of the broken valve, we were all sitting on the runway past 9:30 or so. It would have been nice to be offered a cup of tea or snack in that time. Additionally, the video screen assigned to my seat was not working properly. It was a touch screen, and something was malfunctioning. Perhaps someone can keep a closer eye on these details."

But that definitely left a lot of people dissatisfied with an overnight flight in which we are hoping to rest before arriving in Copenhagen. Seats are getting smaller and smaller. Nevýhody: "Upon landing in EWR on United, per my reservation on this site my connection was on SAS to Copenhagen. Upon arrival in EWR, I received an email from this site saying my SAS flight "may be canceled". I immediately headed to the terminal where SAS was and went into the lounge to speak to an agent. The women I spoke to could not have been more rude. She told me my flight was canceled and that she did not have access to any details because that was United's responsibility. I told her that could not be the case because my flight was on SAS so if they canceled the flight, I would like to understand what my options are given that I had a tight window upon arrival into my final destination into Dubrovnik so I could not be too late in landing outside of my original reservation. She told me that I had to talk to United and did not even acknowledge why there was a cancellation or anything other than the SAS flight I was on was cancelled. She barely even helped me to understand where my luggage was which I was very concerned would be lost given the issue with the flight cancellation. As a result of all of this, it turns out I was put onto a United flight that now had MORE connections. I had to now go to Frankfurt to Vienna to Dubrovnik, all with really tight connections AND now I no longer was on the same flight as my friend who I was traveling with. SAS did not help with any of this or care to assist in ANY way. They told me it was out of their hands and I had to talk to United. AWFUL service when SAS had cancelled the flight! I had no choice but to take the re-routed flights. I ended up running to my gates and barely catching all of my connections which made for a very stressful travel experience to start my long awaited vacation. After paying the high cost I did for my flight, I am extremely frustrated with my experience as I ended up having more connections, tight connections, awful customer service and a really stressful trip. This is NOT would I would expect for how much I paid and out of the quality of an airline. I would like to receive some type of compensation for the extreme inconvenience of landing 3+ hours after my original arrival time, being broken up with my friend who I was traveling with, not being given any options for my travel, terrible customer service assistance, and no acknowledgement from SAS to help me in any way."
Výhody: "The 7 hr trip to Copenhagen was rough. The seats are too close together. My knees hit the seat in front of me even without reclining. When the seat in front of me reclined the tv screen was 6” away from my face. It was next to impossible to get out of the seat."

I was then transferred through Prague to get to Athens and again missed my connecting flight through there. Now I am stuck in Prague looking for a flight to Athens and most likely will miss my next flight from Athens to Karpathos and will again be stuck in Athens because there are no flights out to Karpathos until 19 of May, 3days from now. I was physically in the Copenhagen airport and could have made that flight, I feel that since I was already checked in they should have waited for me and allowed me to board. Now I will Be missing work!"

Nevýhody: "No overhead fan. When flight got really hot, no way to moderate temperature. No choice of food at all, unless you are in economy plus. I don't remember the last time that a trans-Atlantic flight had at least a meant, or fish, or vegetarian dish. Usually, at least two or three dishes. On SAS, everything has to be ordered ahead of time. Some of the flight attendants were friendly, some not so friendly. No free alcoholic drinks even with dinner. Limited regular drinks - they are only served with food, aside from that you have to purchase even the non-alcoholic drinks. The food just wasn't very good, even compared to other airline food. Compared to other companies, relatively small selection of entertainment. I had considerably more choice on a domestic flight than on a 9 hr. international SAS flight. Storage pockets at the seat are pretty small."

But, it was after hours on the airline number phone number and the fly.com customer service could not help with finding an alternate connection from Oslo to FRA. It was frustrating to then have to wait at Oslo airport for another 4 hours before the new connecting flight."

First of all. I didn't want to involve United, the service counter at SAS was closed the entire time, and the flight on my first leg was operated by United, so i had no choice but to go to United. In fact I should be the one asking why I had to involve United in the first place. Where was SAS when I needed their help and guidance???? Why was their counter closed the entire time??? Such a poorly organized airline, I'll be wary to fly with SAS again."

They upgraded me without my asking... to an economy plus exit row, so I had lots of room during the 8 hour flight to Copenhagen. The plane was new - an Airbus A330 - and the flight crew was friendly and helpful."
Nevýhody: "Multiple maintenance delays and groundcrew forgot to load some bags so there was an even further delay. Flight was cramped too."
Nevýhody: "Missed my flight due to weather east coast"
Nevýhody: "We were unaware of the need to buy an infant ticket on international flights. When we checked in to our SAS flight in Newark, we were given a boarding pass for our infant without any heads up about the issue. We also got help with ordering bassinet from the gate agent, all without anything surfaced. It wasn't until we were boarding that we learned that we needed to buy a ticket and pay $400+ and nearly didn't make the flight. Can someone follow up now, as we need to make sure this issue has now been resolved for our return flight to SFO on Thursday July 6th"

Nevýhody: "During my layover, the airline did not post the gate for my flight to Athens until an hour before, which caused me to have to run across the terminal to another set of gates."
Výhody: "After four hours waiting on the tarmac, at 3AM in the morning, the flying attendants gave us free peanuts. That was very thoughtful."
Nevýhody: "Worst experience ever. We waited on the tarmac for almost 4 hours, due a technical problem. Finally, they gave up attempting to solve the problem (at 3.30AM), and we disembarked. No assistance at all. No hotel. No meals. Rescheduling was a lengthy process. Staff was rude. Really a nightmare of an experience. Note to self: never ever fly again with SAS."

Nevýhody: "1) on the plane, they announced a choice of two meals and I enquired why did I get one without choice and they told me the second choice was an option only for 'economy plus' !! That was a rude situation....I felt cheated and then insulted . 2) CPH - Nice : The breakfast or the included orange drink gave me an upset stomach and bad case of Hemorroides. 3) I accepted a glass of tomatoe juice and when I asked for a coke with my lunch , the stewardess said I had only right to one drink and would have to pay the rest....really ? - wine used to be free and now a glass costs $4...really ?? 4) I arrived at CPH airport for my transfer .. the flight was yet not on the screen but no one gave any instruction and no officials of any kind were around to enquire....a cleaning crew finally directed me correctly. 5) the security line in New York to board was ridiculously long...someone shouted to take off our smelly shoes...really ?? 6) most were directed to the right with four snaking unending lines to one security check . From time to time others were directly directed ed to the left where there was no line and option of two security checks. Half way through my wait , most were directed to the left and all who were 'late', were let out first to their gate. The whole experience before, on the plane and after was not worth the money...least of all a pleasant one."

Nevýhody: "You only get one free non-alcoholic drink on this flight and that's really stingy for a 7+ hour a long haul. Drinks should be free on a long haul, especially non-alcoholic ones. There aren't any free small snacks like chips or peanuts. You have to pay for everything and the menu is exorbitantly over priced. It's a cheap and insulting customer strategy. They can save a few bucks in overhead on each customer this way, but they are losing money in the long run because I'll never book with them again due to their tawdry actions. I doubt I am alone."

I needed wheelchair assistance and found that every was very attentive to my needs and very competent, especially the ones assigned to get me from place to place. Even in Rome, where we had to deplane on the tarmac, I had a young woman and a young man to assist me and they helped me in every way possible."
Nevýhody: "I needed a gluten free meal and found it rather dry and unappetizing."

I wouldn't recommend this flight for people flying from places other than Chicago."

Let's see. This was the first time that I used Kayak and Aer Lingus. It will be the last. I tried to pay for my luggage on the Aer Lingus website and the website didn't work. So I had to pay for my luggage at the airport, which cost me an additional $70. I landed in Frankfurt, Germany, 5 days ago. My luggage was no where to be found. I had three pieces. I contacted Aer Lingus every single day and they could care less that my luggage was missing. I contacted them on Facebook Messenger. After providing my details twice to Artificial Intelligence, a human came on and said to call instead. Now how can I call from Germany with an American phone? I told Aer Lingus this and they didn't care. I contacted Global GSRM Gmbh and was able to get a claim number. Through their tracking system, I was able to find out that my bags were never put on the same plane as me to Dublin. They ended up in London, England. I just received my three suitcases. I knew right away that they were ransacked. I had a total of six luggage belts, 2 belts per suitcase. When I received my luggage, I was down to 2 belts. Sure enough, when I looked in my suitcases, I confirmed that I had things stolen. After all, thieves had 5 days to ransack my things. And who cares? Absolutely no one. When my luggage went missing, I went to Kayak's website, which told me to go to Aer Lingus' website. I went to Aer Lingus' website and they refer me to chat on Facebook. After I chat on Facebook, they tell me call. I asked my friend in the U.S. to call and got someone who was clueless and couldn't provide any help. So, I wasted $70 when I paid for my luggage due to Aer Lingus' faulty website, I go without my luggage for 5 days, I had to spend money on necessities that were in my luggage, I get my luggage ransacked and things stolen, and at the end of the day, nobody gives a crap. Why should they? It's not their belongings. That's it. I'm finished with Kayak and Aer Lingus.

Nevýhody: "Traveling for important business trip. Flight got canceled for “operational issues” and I Never received a notification from the airline or booking agency. I was told I couldn’t get a flight until 24-48 hours later. There were flights available through other airlines, so I asked if they could get me on one of those flights. I then sat on hold for 45 mins to be told that the airline wasn’t responding and the only thing they could do is refund me. I ended up purchasing a new round trip airfare 4 hours before departure which cost me $1000 more than what I paid for my original flights. I was experiencing a lot of anxiety and stress during this period again with no help from the agents. I expect someone to get back to me regarding this and offer some options on how to make this situation right."
Nevýhody: "not even free water."
Nevýhody: "My flight from the US to Dublin was delayed by 3.5 hours because the original inbound plane broke down and they sent a smaller replacement. Then they could not locate a crew."
Výhody: "The crew was very helpful and has provided lots of water now and then, wich was really relieving on the long distance. The seats were quite comfortable, the food quite all right."
Nevýhody: "The flight was delayed wich caused a lot of stress bevor, while and after it, 'cause of the connection flight, that we were afraid to miss. We've got the connection at the end, but the luggage didn't come with us, so a luggage investigation was needed. A lot of paperwork and stress, hopefully I'll at least get it back soon. Entertainment wasn't available for several hours, it was an error in the system or something. Some of the seats have had it, others have had not. It took them hours to fix it."

Nevýhody: "We tried to get a checked bag when checking it online but the site kept shutting down. When we got to the airport they told us it was $100 for each of our checked bags. They would not let us back away from the counter and check in online, even though it was only $45 online. The man who helped us was fine but his boss was rude and totally unhelpful. We will not fly Aer Lingus again if possible, which is sad because we are Irish and like the rest of the experience usually."
Výhody: "The crew was very pleasant. The food was actually good! The flight was exactly on time! And they didn’t loose my luggage! It was perfect"

Nevýhody: "After dinner, seat belt sign was on for the rest of flight. They didn't want anyone to use the bathroom...for over 4 hours. There was really no turbulence. Basically it seemed to be a reason to not provide service and trap people in their seats. You also had to pay for alcohol. Worst international flight I ever had in terms of customer service"
Výhody: "The Crew was lovely on the Transatlantic flight. The Dublin-HH crew was polite, one older lady was warm. Of course I would have like free wine, but I imagine many passengers might abuse the offer..."
Nevýhody: "Narrow seats, not spacy feet place (fortunately a nice gentleman in the middle of us, 2 people, found a seat with more space - he was a very long and not too skinny man. Only 3 toilets for both isles of passengers on a TRANSATLANTIC flight."
Výhody: "The employees were friendly."
Nevýhody: "I was surprised You had to pay for a cup of coffee."
Nevýhody: "More room for passengers in economy class. It is becoming utterly unpleasant. I would like not to be forced to check-in the carry-on when the plane is full. Make more room, sell less, or don't tell me I have right too a carry-on."
Nevýhody: "I was absolutely appalled by the service, I was in the rear of the plane both flights and by the time the food had got to me there was no choice of meals . The flight attendants just threw it down in front of me . I found the staff rude and I could hear them making fun of passengers. Also the tables were insteady so you had to put something under it so it was level. Headphones hurt your ears. And the fact that when I booked my flights they did not mention that the flight from Dublin to Newark was a domestic flight so no free alcohol. I was very disappointed in this flight to and from"
Nevýhody: "Their food is grotesque."
Výhody: "The flight crew arranged for assistance at the arriving airport."
Nevýhody: "The staff at EWR took the wheelchair that I was in and told me that someone would be along with another one. One never arrived. I went to the desk when boarding began. I requested a wheelchair and I was told that I could walk down the ramp without assistance by one of the boarding staff. I was able to but with great pain and much energy. If it had not been for the crew of the flight I probably would never fly on Aer Lingus again."

Výhody: "The shepherds pie was excellent !"

Nevýhody: "Spilled a coke on me due to person in front of me recling his seat. Flight attendant asked if i was ok. Told her no. She waited on three more people before offering 2 napkin. Not sure what I was supposed to with those other than wipe the residue from the tray as it was now all soaked into my jeans"
Výhody: "Flight and service was fine - food was probably better than average in coach."
Nevýhody: "I have come to expect charging outlet for devices - this aircraft had none. Entertainment consisted of a few older movies - no newer releases."
Nevýhody: "First of all, they were not able to locate my reservations even after I showed them the e ticket. I had to be on call with Etihad for 1 hour to figure out my reservation. I had a small 7-year-old son with me and we were at the airport from one day. Since my other flight got cancelled I ended up boarding taking Etihad. I was first in the line at the check-in counter and ended up boarding at the end with all the hassle. I requested the vegetarian food twice and confirmed it while the reservation, but still didn't get the food. My son and myself were hungry for few hours. The crew was not very supportive to accommodate any food."

Výhody: "Flight attendants seemed bothered by the passengers.. I had to ask 3 times for a blanket. NO leg room. Paying for beverages on Rome-Dublin flight not good."
Nevýhody: "Smooth takeoffs snd landings. good selection of movies. Liked the irish ones especially."
Nevýhody: "Smell the smoke from outside while boarding or landing. Pay for wine Luggage allowance, NO PERSONAL bag?? Movies not so many options"
Výhody: "Wonderful crew"
Nevýhody: "paying for everything including a little sandwich and a glass of wine. Being late departing and having a rowdy group of men on board going to drink beer in Prague"
Nevýhody: "In the US we board by row numbers. With Aer Lingus, the boarding was weird & illogical."
