I spent over $40 international calls just to reschedule my flight, only to have to take a $80 cab to the airport to have a human help me. Worst customer service and worst experience. I was trying to get home after a natural disaster struck my hometown and Turkish Airlines actually made that experience even worse. At no point did anyone even apologize for cancelling two of my flights without another option until a full week later. I had to pay to fly myself home from Boston because they were so unhelpful. Would never recommend Turkish Airlines to anyone I know whn traveling internationally."

I had purchased a 1st Class ticket for $400+, only to find that my comfort would be the equivalent of that if I purchased a ticket in economy. My long legs would still be cramped. For the past few years, I have been purchasing 1st class for it's spaciousness. On this flight, on the RCJ700, I did not fly comfortably. The space was very tight, and I was able to stretch my legs as if I sat in economy. This was by far, my most uncomfortable flight ever. SMH; A WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!!"

We got an alert stating that the flight was going to be delayed but we were already almost to the airport when I received the first message on my smartphone. We received three additional alerts making our total wait time at the airport 5½ hours before we could approach the gate and board the aircraft. Seating in immediate gate area was not comfortable. Boarding was chaotic at best with very little control and guidance provided by Delta staff. The audio over the PA system was difficult to decipher much of the time. The only other available boarding status information was presented on the screens stationed near the gate and indicated PREMIUM the entire time during our boarding process and was never updated. We literally had to scramble through the crowd to get to the gate desk and get our boarding passes validated so we could board our flight with our group of passengers. Our seating on board the aircraft was thankfully good which is why I rated Comfort as Okay. We were saddled with one more delay after the flight left the gate and taxied briefly down the runway and then sat there for almost an hour. My suggestions to improve customer satisfaction based on my experience would include the following 1. Provide extended alerts for passengers travelling especially if the anticipated delay is known to the airline more than 2 hours before scheduled flight time. 2. Improve seating in the waiting areas near all Delta gates. 3. Re-orient all staff in proper boarding process and utilizing all available resources properly to provide clear and intelligible (not speeding) overhead audio messaging and current boarding status prompts on displays. 4. Maintain or replace audio equipment if necessary to help improve quality of audio messaging in all boarding areas."

Upon arrival in EWR, I received an email from this site saying my SAS flight "may be canceled". I immediately headed to the terminal where SAS was and went into the lounge to speak to an agent. The women I spoke to could not have been more rude. She told me my flight was canceled and that she did not have access to any details because that was United's responsibility. I told her that could not be the case because my flight was on SAS so if they canceled the flight, I would like to understand what my options are given that I had a tight window upon arrival into my final destination into Dubrovnik so I could not be too late in landing outside of my original reservation. She told me that I had to talk to United and did not even acknowledge why there was a cancellation or anything other than the SAS flight I was on was cancelled. She barely even helped me to understand where my luggage was which I was very concerned would be lost given the issue with the flight cancellation. As a result of all of this, it turns out I was put onto a United flight that now had MORE connections. I had to now go to Frankfurt to Vienna to Dubrovnik, all with really tight connections AND now I no longer was on the same flight as my friend who I was traveling with. SAS did not help with any of this or care to assist in ANY way. They told me it was out of their hands and I had to talk to United. AWFUL service when SAS had cancelled the flight! I had no choice but to take the re-routed flights. I ended up running to my gates and barely catching all of my connections which made for a very stressful travel experience to start my long awaited vacation. After paying the high cost I did for my flight, I am extremely frustrated with my experience as I ended up having more connections, tight connections, awful customer service and a really stressful trip. This is NOT would I would expect for how much I paid and out of the quality of an airline. I would like to receive some type of compensation for the extreme inconvenience of landing 3+ hours after my original arrival time, being broken up with my friend who I was traveling with, not being given any options for my travel, terrible customer service assistance, and no acknowledgement from SAS to help me in any way."

Nevýhody: "1) on the plane, they announced a choice of two meals and I enquired why did I get one without choice and they told me the second choice was an option only for 'economy plus' !! That was a rude situation....I felt cheated and then insulted . 2) CPH - Nice : The breakfast or the included orange drink gave me an upset stomach and bad case of Hemorroides. 3) I accepted a glass of tomatoe juice and when I asked for a coke with my lunch , the stewardess said I had only right to one drink and would have to pay the rest....really ? - wine used to be free and now a glass costs $4...really ?? 4) I arrived at CPH airport for my transfer .. the flight was yet not on the screen but no one gave any instruction and no officials of any kind were around to enquire....a cleaning crew finally directed me correctly. 5) the security line in New York to board was ridiculously long...someone shouted to take off our smelly shoes...really ?? 6) most were directed to the right with four snaking unending lines to one security check . From time to time others were directly directed ed to the left where there was no line and option of two security checks. Half way through my wait , most were directed to the left and all who were 'late', were let out first to their gate. The whole experience before, on the plane and after was not worth the money...least of all a pleasant one."

Výhody: "The flight from Newark to Stockholm was late, so I was late for the flight to Vilnius,had to recheck-in and wait for 6 hours."
Výhody: "We got to sit in the emergency aisle so I can't complain about comfort. The staff was really friendly (although they were really rude on the way over 10 days earlier, so I guess we just got lucky with a nice crew for this one)."
Nevýhody: "You only get one free non-alcoholic drink on this flight and that's really stingy for a 7+ hour a long haul. Drinks should be free on a long haul, especially non-alcoholic ones. There aren't any free small snacks like chips or peanuts. You have to pay for everything and the menu is exorbitantly over priced. It's a cheap and insulting customer strategy. They can save a few bucks in overhead on each customer this way, but they are losing money in the long run because I'll never book with them again due to their tawdry actions. I doubt I am alone."

Nevýhody: "I wasn't able to take this flight due to my first leg being cancelled. However, I did end up being placed on the SAS flight to Stockholm from Chicago, which was an overall nice flight. The only thing I didn't like was the timing of the flight. Because my starting point was from somewhere other than Chicago, this made for a very long and tiring trip. I wouldn't recommend this flight for people flying from places other than Chicago."

Plane from Newark was delayed, we missed our connection, our luggage was misplaced, then they didn’t have another flight until the next day, and they sent us to a hotel that didn’t have any rooms available."

Výhody: "Overall everything went better than expected. Flew Aer Lingus from East Coast through Dublin to Rome. Making the connection in Dublin was the easiest connection I’ve ever made and I fly multiple times every month. I would fly Aer Lingus to Europe again for sure."
Nevýhody: "We did not get to select the seats. I did get an extremely low priced fare so I was prepared. The seats were in the very back of the plane from Dublin to Rome even though there were many seats open throughout the plane. I couldn’t figure out how to purchase upgrades using the app."

Nevýhody: "Traveling for important business trip. Flight got canceled for “operational issues” and I Never received a notification from the airline or booking agency. I was told I couldn’t get a flight until 24-48 hours later. There were flights available through other airlines, so I asked if they could get me on one of those flights. I then sat on hold for 45 mins to be told that the airline wasn’t responding and the only thing they could do is refund me. I ended up purchasing a new round trip airfare 4 hours before departure which cost me $1000 more than what I paid for my original flights. I was experiencing a lot of anxiety and stress during this period again with no help from the agents. I expect someone to get back to me regarding this and offer some options on how to make this situation right."

Nevýhody: "My flight from the US to Dublin was delayed by 3.5 hours because the original inbound plane broke down and they sent a smaller replacement. Then they could not locate a crew."
Výhody: "The crew was very helpful and has provided lots of water now and then, wich was really relieving on the long distance. The seats were quite comfortable, the food quite all right."
Nevýhody: "The flight was delayed wich caused a lot of stress bevor, while and after it, 'cause of the connection flight, that we were afraid to miss. We've got the connection at the end, but the luggage didn't come with us, so a luggage investigation was needed. A lot of paperwork and stress, hopefully I'll at least get it back soon. Entertainment wasn't available for several hours, it was an error in the system or something. Some of the seats have had it, others have had not. It took them hours to fix it."

Nevýhody: "We tried to get a checked bag when checking it online but the site kept shutting down. When we got to the airport they told us it was $100 for each of our checked bags. They would not let us back away from the counter and check in online, even though it was only $45 online. The man who helped us was fine but his boss was rude and totally unhelpful. We will not fly Aer Lingus again if possible, which is sad because we are Irish and like the rest of the experience usually."

Výhody: "The Crew was lovely on the Transatlantic flight. The Dublin-HH crew was polite, one older lady was warm. Of course I would have like free wine, but I imagine many passengers might abuse the offer..."
Nevýhody: "Narrow seats, not spacy feet place (fortunately a nice gentleman in the middle of us, 2 people, found a seat with more space - he was a very long and not too skinny man. Only 3 toilets for both isles of passengers on a TRANSATLANTIC flight."

Nevýhody: "I was absolutely appalled by the service, I was in the rear of the plane both flights and by the time the food had got to me there was no choice of meals . The flight attendants just threw it down in front of me . I found the staff rude and I could hear them making fun of passengers. Also the tables were insteady so you had to put something under it so it was level. Headphones hurt your ears. And the fact that when I booked my flights they did not mention that the flight from Dublin to Newark was a domestic flight so no free alcohol. I was very disappointed in this flight to and from"

Nevýhody: "The staff at EWR took the wheelchair that I was in and told me that someone would be along with another one. One never arrived. I went to the desk when boarding began. I requested a wheelchair and I was told that I could walk down the ramp without assistance by one of the boarding staff. I was able to but with great pain and much energy. If it had not been for the crew of the flight I probably would never fly on Aer Lingus again."

Nevýhody: "I have come to expect charging outlet for devices - this aircraft had none. Entertainment consisted of a few older movies - no newer releases."
Nevýhody: "First of all, they were not able to locate my reservations even after I showed them the e ticket. I had to be on call with Etihad for 1 hour to figure out my reservation. I had a small 7-year-old son with me and we were at the airport from one day. Since my other flight got cancelled I ended up boarding taking Etihad. I was first in the line at the check-in counter and ended up boarding at the end with all the hassle. I requested the vegetarian food twice and confirmed it while the reservation, but still didn't get the food. My son and myself were hungry for few hours. The crew was not very supportive to accommodate any food."

Nevýhody: "My flight from NYC to Montreal was significantly delayed because the plane was late getting to NYC. This caused several passengers to miss our connecting flight to Quebec City. Air Canada put us on another flight that didn't depart until over 24 hours later! Despite our efforts, we were not offered any help in getting on an earlier flight, and the airline was unwilling to give us hotel vouchers or rental car vouchers. We paid for a rental car and drove ourselves from Montreal to Quebec City. Both of our returning flights were delayed as well. I understand things happen when traveling, but I expect some type of help/ reimbursement/ or sympathy (at a minimum) from the airline! This was my first and will be my only time flying Air Canada."
Nevýhody: "9:30 flight finally took odd at 11:30 .... delayed and had to set on the runway. Arrivedabd gad to wait 30 min for gate. Will be in terms mal by 1:30"

Nevýhody: "The rebooked flight was also cancelled and the counter staff in Boston were not helpful. We were stranded in Boston and never made it to Toronto. We had to find our own way back to NY Air Canada, meanwhile,was still selling seats at exorbitant prices while thousands of passengers were left stranded I travel several times a month and will ensure that I avoid travel with Air Canada. I will also let met friends and colleagues know not to use Kayak or fly with Air Canada. Because I booked with Kayak, Air Canada would not resolve the problem"

Nevýhody: "When checking in for our flight, AirCanada prompted me to select which passengers' email addresses should be used to send updates in case of changes, delays, or cancelations. I selected the both of us to receive the updates. However, we never got any notice that our flight was CANCELLED. They cancelled it well in advance that had we known, we wouldn't have gone to the airport but NO - we already arrived and passed through security only to arrive out by the gates and see on the board it was cancelled. Even while passing through customs, the officer said he didn't see it on the flight schedule and then said, "oh it's just listed at a different gate." The way in which AirCanada handled the incident was completely unprofessional and just plain stupid. I for sure will be giving my business to Amtrak or Greyhound the next time I need a trip from NYC to Montreal."

Nevýhody: "The flight was delayed 40 and then 50 minutes. No announcements were made, the screen just changed. I'm glad I went up to ask about my connecting flight to Athens; if I had waited and got on the flight, I would have missed my connection. The people at the AirCanada desk were nice, and were able to find us other seats. However, we were promised seats on the 7:30 flight, but instead were put on the 5:45 flight. We asked for the AirCanada person to call back and change our flight, but she said we would have time (at this point, 1 hour and 20 minutes before the flight left), even though I showed her that there was a lot of traffic between LGA and JFK and we probably would not make it. We had to leave LGA, find our bags and wait in a long taxi line to sit in traffic in a cab we had to pay for our of pocket, and could not make the 5:45 flight. I then had to call AirCanada and wait for 15 minutes for the lady to switch us to the 7:30 flight. In all, we also lost 2 full hours in Athens."

So apparently Air Canada makes up whatever rules that they see fit but doesn't make you aware of them until too late. In Canada, the "International" terminal is not for every country, but for every country EXCEPT the US...I didn't realize that the "Air Canada English" is its own language. Also, they will resell your seat arbitrarily, without any previous warning and have no problem stranding you in a different country, forcing to pay exorbitant change fees. If you try to straighten the situation AFTER the entire fiasco, the only recourse is a random email. I would not only NOT recommend this airline, but I would stay far, far away from using Air Canada!"
