There was a group of young employees and they came off as very immature. There was a crying baby next to me for the majority of the 13 hours. They ran out of food, and I had no choice but to eat the pasta option even though I do not eat pasta in my normal life. My knees hurt from not having space to stretch out for such a long flight. It was freezing cold and they did not have extra blankets. It felt like my section kept getting skipped over for everything (food, liquids, general checking in to make sure people were okay). We boarded late, and left late. When I arrived the luggage took VERY long - almost an hour - to come out."

The staff was courteous and friendly and even let me keep my can of tomato juice. These may seem like small things to you but it made me feel at home for the first time in over a year and I want you guys to know I truly appreciated it. In addition to that, the flight was actually affordable and I was able to make it to New York to surprise my mom for her 60th birthday. Job well done! Thanks again and best of luck! I've flown the following for reference: Lufthansa Air Swiss Delta Air France Air Arabia Saudi Airlines Egypt Air and a couple more I can't think of right now. I'm a very medium sized build and really short (5' 6") and I was so uncomfortable I wanted to (and probably will) cancel my return flight with them. My wife's back is still hurting from that flight. The staff are just plain awful save for 2 flight attendants. Out of 2 flights so far. I was told afterwards that this is commonplace when flying Turkish Airlines. For fairness sake I should mention that both Egypt Air and Saudi Airlines were worse. Whatever money you think you're saving by flying this atrocity you're gonna be spending on fixing your neck and back. Spend the extra and go with Swiss or even Delta. Avoid this rubbish"

Výhody: "This is obviously a very well-run airline. Boarding was efficient, the crew were warm and professional, and the overall feel of the aircraft was very Scandinavian-cool. I was most impressed with the meal service. We were served twice on our 9 hour flight, and both meals were hot, healthy, and the best I’ve had during a flight. The passenger in front of us was having a hard time with her sinuses, and the flight attendant (whose name I wish we had gotten) was very attentive and concerned for the comfort and well-being of the passenger. She insisted on doing anything she could to alleviate the woman’s difficulty. It is clear that the crew care about the passengers’ experience."
Nevýhody: "We were unable to sleep at all during our overnight flight and landed pretty exhausted. Our seats were comfortable (complete with a moldable headrest to keep your head from bobbing around) but we felt too upright to fall asleep. The passenger in front of us reclined, but we were concerned about reclining into the already tight space of the passenger behind us. So we weren’t able to sleep, despite trying to get comfortable/somewhat horizontal. It seemed to be a mixed bag of asleep and awake passengers on the flight, so some people were unaffected by this issue."

We were not accommodated with hotel vouchers or provided with alternative travel options to our final destinations and missed flights. None of us were able to leave the airport as we were not told any information about potential flight departure times and it would have been $2000 to re-book with a different airline. No answers were given by SAS over the phone and their staff seemed unaware of any problems."

Nevýhody: "We wanted to check bags and we needed to have our docs checked before we could get a boarding pass for the last leg of the flight. No one was available around the self service kiosks and the line to drop bags or get any service didn't move for 40 minutes. We finally went to the gate. In Copenhagen we had a delay and no one would even talk to us except to say " you are booked in tourist class so I can't help You". They do an excellent job of avoiding any contact with their customers. I fly almost every week for business and have never had this bad of service."

Nevýhody: "The crew did not know the law about child safety seats. They tried to inform us we could not use it, even though it is approved for air travel. Then they tried to tell us we had to face it forward, which is illegal and it cannot be secured like this. Then they told us the car seat needed to be against the fuselage, but that all the fuselage seats were taken. They did not offer a solution to this problem. I informed them this was TAP's fault for assigning those seats to us. They said they were not responsible, which is clearly wrong. They could have reassigned us at check-in and avoided the problem. They were very concerned about the ability of the person in front of us to recline their seat, but no interested at all in the safety of our baby. They told us we would not be able to use the seat, although our baby was already asleep. They were trying to find a way to make us leave the plane. Finally, some other passengers volunteered to move so we could sit against the fuselage with nobody in the seats in front of us, so we would not block them from reclining. A solution would not have been found by the crew. Only thanks to generous passengers were we able to stay on the plane, even though we were doing everything completely legally. They made my pregnant wife feel so bad that she cried for the first hour of the flight. Then, as the flight was concluding, our baby got airsick and vomited. They crew did nothing to help aside from bring 3 (!) napkins and then leave again. Incredibly unhelpful, mean, ignorant, and combative cabin crew. Truly appalling."
Nevýhody: "We booked business class. JFK to LIS very nice. Seats were very comfortable and reclined flat. More leg room than in other business class seats. What they called business from LIS to Rome was just regular uncomfortable across economy seats with no one in the middle seat."

Nevýhody: "First of all, I would like to start by saying that I flight with TAP very often. I guess you can check on your system. I had good experiences in the past and actually recommeded to friends/family. I hope this flight was an exception. A few things were not that good this time. 1) First of all, the online check-in wasn't working until a few hours before the flight, and I didn't even give me the option to choose my seat. Once in the plane, I noticed plenty of empty seats in several areas of the plane. I could have had a much better seat. Also, the fact that the price of the luggage in the ticket is not included is insane! They let you know right at the boarding area. Another 100 plus dollars in addition to the 1,6000 that I paid for the ticket. Incredible!! And they only gave us 15 dollars voucher!! 2) There was a 2 hours delay due to a storm in the south of the USA. Although I am fully understandable with the fact that this situation is out of hands for the TAP company, is it in their hands the care and wellbeing of their passengers. As previoulsy stated, I received a 15 dollars voucher to use becasue of the delay. At any airport, for any decent meal, you will pay a minimum of 25-30 dollars. All items are more expensive. While waiting in the gate to board, we were not offered with snacks, water, etc.. additionally, no announements or updates at all. 3) I had a very uncofortable situation with one of the filght attenders. Male, very tall, dark hair and dark skin. When distributing dinner, I found the way he approached me very disrespectul, ironic and dismissive. ZERO customer services and he is actually the face of TAP in these planes. Unaceptable. I have to look all the way up to him, he wouldn't make an effort to band a bit (of course, not completely) to at least try to hear what I was saying. He was requesting me to speak loud but he would not make a minimum effort to get close to me. His demeanor and attitude made me feel very upsted... abuse of power... to the pooint that I ended up not taking the meal. No manners at all. He should understand that after hours of waiting (check-in usual time plus the 2 hours delay) we were all very tired. Particularly at that timeof the day. Some of us where up for since earlyi in the moring and you could tell that most of the passengers were exhausted. The second we got into our seat, we all used our blankets and try to sleep. He was not empathetic or councious about that. I felt very uncomfortable. Both of the girls that were also in the back area of the plane, were also lacking manners and customer services. I don't know.. other times was much better."
Nevýhody: "I paid to select my seats which were 2 window and two aisle seats. I was assigned 2 aisle and 2 middle seats. I paid extra to acoid middle seats and I would like a refund."
Výhody: "First off I'd never heard of this airline but that was ok because we (group travel) were originally booked on another aiine I'd never heard if before either called Nirwegian. Well less than 24 hrs before we were scheduled to fly out, the exact same day, they cancel our flight! After a lot of phone calls and wait times we were booked onto TAP AIR PORTUGAL. Easy check in, my carry on was great, entertainment was on point, food was good (first European trip), crew was nice, plane was huge; just a good experience overall. I will definitely fly with them again."

The gate keeps changing and they've been getting ther run around all day. No food vouchers. This is horrendous. I am here at Prague airport. We only have a few days here and now one day is gone. They should be reimbursed! We are paying 400 euros for hotel rooms that aren't even being used because of this delay."

And you will still be paying for the filet. Will that be ok?" No. It's not ok. Only an airline would try something like that. This behavior is unacceptable in every other business. Stop doing this now!"

They also said they could not fly us to Barcelona because all of the hotels there are full occupancy (sounds absurd). Only after we insisted on flying to Barcelona we discovered that the flight to Tel Aviv took place as usual. To this day, I do not know why an airline needs to lie in such an ugly way. Note that this was not a misunderstanding or language difficulties. The English of the airline team and mine is excellent. This behavior is dismissive, irresponsible, and embarrassing"

The phone number was not international. The email rely denied a refund. I requested to escalate the dispute but Wasnt ever connected to that individual. In Paris, I attempted to reach the claims dept and was told to email them or call customer service but don't speak Spanish so got no where. Out 267$."
