The person sitting next to me even had a dietary restriction and her meal had been given to another passenger. The boarding process was a mess without clear directions from the staff, it was a giant mob trying to force its way onto a plane."
Nevýhody: "I cannot begin to describe the plethora of issues I had with TK following the military coup. Aside from not answering emails or phones for days, even after getting in touch with someone the instructions I received were apparently only to waste my time because in the following correspondence it became clear they never intended on issuing a refund. I am a Military service member and was not authorized to take the flight I had booked, so after explaining the circumstances and submitting the requested memo...no refund! I will advise all my people to steer clear from Turkish Airlines."

Nevýhody: "Front gate person was very rude, inpatient and did not help us to print our new boarding passes that they gave in Barcelona. During boarding process, we had to wait aside until new boarding passes printed that could have been done over an hour earlier."
Nevýhody: "They ran out of overhead space we had to check a carry on bag. My video monitor didn't work so that was disappointing."

Each passenger was given free headphones and complimentary beverages and snacks. I love Delta they are a cut above the rest. It took,me some time to convince my fellow passengers that the loss of the APU was not a safety-of-flight issue. Also, a humongous passenger waddled down to our row and wedged herself into the window seat just before the doors closed. She immediately wanted to raise the seat divider, claiming that it was uncomfortable. The middle seat passenger insisted that she wanted to have it down, correctly pointing out that she had paid for a whole space. Despite the seat divider, the obese person's body oozed over and below into the middle seat during the flight, cramming the middle passenger. These folks Need to buy a second seat..."

Nevýhody: "In a 6h flight, they only served drinks once. I saw the crew member once with a tray of glasses with water, but he ran out before getting to our seat and never came back. I was glad I hadn't finished a bottled water I had purchased earlier at the airport."

So, we were stuck in Atlanta airport with no good way to our final destination. Instead of waiting for 22 hours for the next available flight, or driving for 7 hours from Atlanta to Cincinnati, we had to fly into another city and drive to Cincinnati from there AT OUR OWN EXPENSE. It was a rebooking nightmare."

Since many people also do not eat beef due to religious beliefs, I am appalled by SAS's decision to only serve this dish to its economy class passengers. As I ordered my ticket through Kayak, I didn't have the option to request a special diet, nor did I think to do so as airlines generally do not serve serve a beef dish as their one and only."
Nevýhody: "since all tickets and passports are checked in advance and do not need to be scanned again when boarding, they really should start boarding from the back of the aircraft (after all the business, first-class, and priority folks) because it would really speed things up the main meal was good, but the snack was much smaller compared to my flight from Chicago to Stockholm"

All in all, I would definitely fly SAS again."

The refrigeration system for the food also broke down on the plane so we weren't fed our second meal. Instead, they chose the cheapest and most unappealing snack of plain almonds to give us. Despite confirming our luggage situation with us at the first airport repeatedly (because of our connecting flight) SAS still temporarily lost our baggage when we arrived at our final destination and caused us to stay an additional hour at the airport after already having spent an exhausting day travelling."

LOTS of people switched lines but we didn't know it would continue to be rediculous. There are stairs to climb from the gate which will be a problem for people with any physical issues ( bad knees). The plane took off late and this time we were nervous with a tight connection in Stockholm Location of Gate display is slower than most airports and we were told It changes at the last minute. We will avoid the Oslo airport in the future."

After rushing to another terminal, the Air France check in agent told us she could not find our tickets, although the Icelandair agent gave us written confirmation. After being sent to the Air France ticketing agent (another office), we were told we were on a British Airways flight. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT AIRLINE. How were we supposed to know this? This was extremely frustrating. But BA treated us great and we can now see why they have such a great reputation."
Nevýhody: "Late flight. Both flights smelled of latrines. Charge for one checked back one way was 99.00. Flight attendant rude and said no vegetarian meals were available to purchase and I ordered within 10 mins of taking off. First she ignored me, even though she was talking to passenger next to me. I waited and she skipped right over me to next row. I had to press overhead light to get her attention. No veggie wrap available and I was told the vegetarian soup actually had chicken. No food is available otherwise on Iceland air flights. We almost missed our connection and flight crew didn’t even let us off plane before others who didn’t have tight connection. Husband was assigned a seat that didn’t exist on plane. Landing was the worst ever, came in on two wheels—all passengers were groaning. I travel a lot and will never choose Iceland air again."

Nevýhody: "Delays in boarding. Ticket was bought 8 months ago with seat selected but when checking in found I was put on standby and had to wait until everyone else boarded. Assistance at gate to try and get seat assignment very poor as I was simply told to wait. On flight from Iceland to Portland the gate did not even start boarding until close to official departure time and plane left about 30 minutes late. Result I barely made my last connection in Portland but my luggage did not arrive because maybe customs checking took too long."
Nevýhody: "Passenger next to me used part of my seat. I was extremely uncomfortable."
Nevýhody: "The pilots was great, but the baggage was partially lost and we had to wait an hour while they found the rest and loaded it. For that hour, the airport positioned another jet with its engines firing into our air intake, so we spent the whole time coughing in fuel fumes. The crew had forgotten to put blankets out for about 1/3 of the plane on the overnight flight and didn't have enough to go around when the mistake was pointed out to them. Also, the check-in kiosks and web check-in were both faulty, so the desk assistants were overworked. Overall, the service was well intentioned, but inept. Not worth the cheaper ticket price."

Výhody: "Second time I have flown to Brussels with Iceland Air. I love their customer service and especially the flight route. My flight going over was cancelled due to weather. I called their reservation office , had to wait on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes , but it was worth it. The reservation agent found me a new flight on LH, she explained I would get a conformation about 3 hours after our conversation with the flight information and new txt information. I was able to check in with LH on line that evening. Iceland Air had every pre assigned seats for me."
Nevýhody: "The boarding process in Kevlavik is pretty awful. No seating around gate areas. You have to stand in line for about 30 minutes to then have to get on shuttle to be driven to plane where you have to walk on stairs to get to plane, or in some cases you actually get to board from the terminal, which happened yesterday. I have MS,and sometimes standing for long periods of time and then having to climb up stairs is difficult for me. I also see a lot of elderly people and parents with babies having difficulty with this boarding process. Their airport really needs major expansion for the amount of people that travel thru their. Seating araes around their gates should be a priority."
Nevýhody: "This was the worst flight I have been on. It was delayed by two and a half hours - because of a mechanical problem we had to switch planes. Don't they do a check before they board people? They only offered beverages one time in a 6 hour flight. There was no food which is appalling for an International flight. The worse thing is that when I booked my ticket it said one meal will be provided. But there was none. The choice of food for purchase was poor. I will never use Icelandair again. And I will discourage my colleagues using it too, who, like me, travel to conferences regularly."

Nevýhody: "My suitcase did not arrive (which was to be expected as we arrived late), but it did not arrive 24 hours later either. No food was served, not even a small snack. Boarding was slow and it was hard to hear the announcements. (Maybe this is an airport issue)."

Nevýhody: "At Reykjavik, boarding in bad weather is not a desirable experience. Passengers are out in the elements and sometimes people blocking the aisles during boarding backs up onto the tarmac where quite a few people will be getting windblown and wet.....for a while."
Výhody: "Good airline for getting where you want to be without blowing the bank. Good choice of movies and entertainment."
Nevýhody: "Like all other airlines the seats are crampy so low ratings for comfort, but that's just to be expected anymore. Entertainment systems a little finicky, you had to find the headphone jacks sweet spot to get audio on both flights, for both my hubby's seat and mine."

Nevýhody: "Icelandair lost my luggage and that of a number of co-travelers, failing to deliver the bags in Munich. This happens with all airlines now and then. However, whereas any self-respecting airline would have a baggage service contact who could access the baggage database and tell you where your bag was last scanned, and problem-solve to arrange delivery on the next flight, Icelandair has farmed lost luggage service out to a contractor with access to no info and no abilty to arrange anything. After hours of waiting, each customer was told to fill out a form and that no information could be supplied. They say if you don't hear from us in 6 days, visit our website."

Out of 4 times we flew IcelandAir, EVERY SINGLE FLIGHT was at least one hour late. It seemed IcelandAir makes no effort in getting everyone boarded on time."
Výhody: "The flight's delay was clearly posted, which helped to manage my way expectations. I enjoyed the selection of TV shows on the entertainment system and food available for purchase. Hate was by the duty free shop."
Nevýhody: "Also the in-flight entertainment partly malfunctioned for my seat, providing only TV shows. Seats are a tad narrow: my broad-shouldered neighbour's shoulders were overlapping with mine."
Výhody: "Icelandair does a good job or providing free entertainment on their flights."
Nevýhody: "Though the free entertainment is welcome, it doesn't make up for the myriad of issues we had with Icelandair during our trip. First, both flights smelled like the bathroom toilet puck (the ones they put in urinals) was used to clean the airplane. Icelandair provides no food for free during international flights, which is an oddity (usually there's something during a six hour flight). I could maybe look past the smell and lack of food, but my wife and I were seated in different rows and sides of the airplane, even though we booked our flight together! Overall, I would recommend another airline. Lufthansa, KLM, or Condor if you're in Europe or traveling around that area. They all have small setbacks but are still far superior to Icelandair."

Nevýhody: "The plane was 30 minutes late boarding passengers so we lost our place in line for takeoff, resulting in a 60 minute delay meaning nearly missing our connection to Boston. There was no information given either by the captain or the crew and finally, a barely audible apology at the end of the flight."
Nevýhody: "Got bumped from flight and caused layover. Lost baggage. Tv sound did not work in air."
Výhody: "It was a smooth flight."
Nevýhody: "The flight was over one hour and 30 minutes late. Flight status was not updated regularly. The gate personnel was unhelpful. There was no announcement when boarding finally started. If I wasn't paying attention to the electronic board at the departing gate or was away from teh gate, I might have missed it."

Nevýhody: "Boarding was atrocious. There was a small boarding area and there were 5 flights boarding - 1 at 6:50 and the other 4 at 7pm. So many people standing in line in such a small space. It was very uncomfortable. staggering times would be so much more helpful for that small area. Also, on an 8 hour flight, you should provide some free food. Crew is not overly helpful or happy."
