Výhody: "Turkish Airlines is my favorite airline going to Europe. We even did the 20 hr layover in Istanbul and had a great time staying for a couple of nights going and coming back. Staff is always friendly and the food is amazing. The food in coach is as good as first class on some US domestic flights"
Nevýhody: "It's an airplane, there's not much to make it better besides giving more seat room. TA gives free drinks, a couple of meals, blankets, and the travel bag, only a snobby priss would gripe about flying with them. I've flown enough budget airlines that give you NOTHING that I love flying TA!"

Plus the airline staff was rude. That ruined my vacation."

Výhody: "At Lisboa airport, I was checked in by Antonio. Most helpful checkin guy I've ever spoken to in my years of traveling. The food is always impressive (for airline food) and they give you a lot to drink. The last time I flew, there was an Autistic passenger throwing a fit and no one seemed to do anything. This time, a person was really upset with his companion on the flight and began screaming. The attendants helped calm him down and fixed the situation quickly. I guess last time they must've just let it happen because of the disability so there's not much they can do in that situation."
Nevýhody: "Not a big ran of the Turkish Airport. Everything is pretty cheap for an airport though if you bring Turkish Lira. They tend to round the price up a bit if you pay in USD or Euro."

Nevýhody: "My connecting flight was cancelled twice then delayed. I ended up missing my connection in Istanbul and having to overnight there. Turkish Airlines did provide hotel accommodation to passengers in similar situation, however only after wondering around the airport for over an hour to find the TK hotel desk and waiting for an additional hour to be assigned a hotel room and be transferred there, only to learn that I had to check out within two and a half hours after checking in to be at the airport 4 hours before the flight departs. When I finally arrived at the airport, I had to go through a security screening (because I was not suspicious for having entered the country and exiting only 5 hours later). When all of that was done, I approach the check in desk and asked if my seat can be changed, as I had spent the previous 2 days trying to get on my connecting flight, spending over 8 continuous hours at an airport and having had a nightmare night. I asked for an exit row seat or anything in the front of the plane. I was literal told that if I did not like the seat given I did not have to fly. I took the seat originally assigned and spent 11 and a half hours sitting next to a toilette on the airplane with a crying baby next to me and in front of me. To top it all, it took 2 hours to get my luggage once arrived at JFK. I usually love traveling on Turkish airlines and I understand not all of the above is directly depending on them, but considering how awful the entire experience was and how little I asked to be happy, I found them to be extremely unaccommodating on this occasion."

Nevýhody: "Entertainment screen did not work; in neighboring seat it could not be switched off when we wanted to sleep; sourly employees everywhere (re-booking counter an exception); food close not being edible and cold; I forgot my watch on when going through security in the Air France terminal; when I started to say "sorry" I was yelled at by the screener who said that she will do the talking; she sent me back through the scanner twice without my watch, then once more with the carry-on and made sure that I went to the end of a very long line to wait for another screening rather than having me just go through the scanner without my watch. Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

Nevýhody: "It is very difficult to get around CDG airport with a disabled person. There is no shuttle. By the time we got to check in, we were ten minutes late. They would not check us in, and we paid over $700 to change tickets to the next flight. When I complained, I was told to stop being rude or I would get no ticket at all. My mother is 94 years old and we did the best we could given the circumstance."

Nevýhody: "We were transported to the plane which was quite some distance to the plane via bus after climbing down steep stairs from the departure gate area. Then we had to climb steep steps in extremely hot weather. We were then delayed for a hour in the plane in very hot conditions as the plane had its air conditioning off and the ground air conditioning was not put on. We were swearing in the heat for an hour!! We arrived at our destination and hour and half late!!"

Výhody: "Missed connection and it was airport not Delta that was the problem. Not a good way to start a vacation. Rating is for the Paris Airport, not the flight crew or Air France employees. Still sitting in the airport when we should be at our destination."
Nevýhody: "Hundreds of people missed their flights. Delta had us into Paris with an hour and a half to get to connecting flight. Missed flight due to huge delay in passport approval. They seemed completely unprepared."

And our last air france experience we were so hot and it was aweful. Even though it was like an hour and a half flight they still served us sandwiches ,really good."

Nevýhody: "One of the engine was smoking just as we took off. This should have been checked beforehand that it was working correctly. The pilot missed the first landing, was going too fast and had to turn around. We circled the London eye 3 times. When we were actually landing it was extremely bumpy and on the way down the plane was tilting back and forth a lot. They were going too fast when we landed as well, I have never been in a plane that has landed so poorly, and I have travelled a lot and used many different airlines. It was worse than any budget airline I've been on. As we were driving back to the terminal, the pilot stopped short for some reason. Things were not explained clearly. I will not be flying with airfrance again and will be sure to spread the word of this awful experience."

Nevýhody: "The "Czech Airlines" flight I purchased was actually an Air France flight number. When I arrived later than planned but still within good time, which was my fault, I reported to the Czech Airlines check-in (D2). This is very, very far from the Air France check-in (A2). No person and no sign was at Czech Airlines gate saying to go to Air France instead. By the time I determined what to do by talking ro the airport information booth and I walked to Air France instead of Czech Airlines (at CDG airport this is 5 minutes walking very fast speed on conveyor belts.. perhaps more than half a kilometer), I was past the boarding time limit, but the flight had not yet left. Then I could not print the boaring pass because of the time. When I asked an Air France employee for help, he simply said "you cannot board" and stood there smugly. He must feel great being a 25 year old who can turn people away from international flights at his own discretion to completely ruin their day especially when the plane is still on the ground. I have not even explained yet about the similarly awful experience I had when I booked the next flight (Czech Airlines at 09:45) for a much higher price (118 euro) and was not told that this Czech Airlines flight is "really" a Czech Airline flight. After paying much more to a Czech Airline person, nobody informed me to stay at the Czech Airlines area (2D) so I naturally went back to Air France since I had already had so much trouble. When I arrived there, of course, they tell me to go back to Czech Airlines and now I was again late. Thank God that I was able to confront a random trolley man who Kew where the Czech Airlines people were and try tried very hard to get me to the plane even though the boarding time was over. All in all, this was the worst travel experience of my life. I have now wasted 40 more minutes of my approximately 2.5 days in Prague to tell you this. I hope you consider it."

Výhody: "The crew were very friendly and attentive, there was a delay to boarding and departure but they were very apologetic about it. Service was attentive on the plane and bags promptly delivered at the baggage carousel."
Nevýhody: "I upgraded at the airport to Executive class, which is really a bit of a scam to be honest. It’s just the first two rows of the plane and the middle seat kept free... the seats were no different to economy. Not worth the 109€ upgrade fee."

I find difficult to find this information when buying and it makes a great difference in the final price you pay. I found strange flight attendants having a very loud conversation in a very quiet flight where most of the people were sleeping."

Nevýhody: "Our tickets were economy class Y for all of our flights, and we each checked a bag free on the outbound trip. But, returning we had to pay 170 euros for our 2 checked (1 each) bags. TAP (Air Portugal) in Toulouse said our outbound flights were "Basic" fares while our return flights were "Discounted" fares. Discounted fares do not include checked bags while Basic fares include 1 free checked bag. We paid $3,106.36 for the round trip for both of us, which hardly seems like a discounted fare, before paying an additional 170 euros on the return flight. I will be looking into filing a Class Action suit trying to recover all overcharges on behalf of all passengers."

Nevýhody: "Entertainment"

Výhody: "The planes were fantastic, wish all other airlines provided the same amenities. There was ample leg room (even in the economy peasant class), there were innovative changes in the pullout tray, beverage holder, convenience of charging devices, a mirror, specific pockets for books/glass cases/snacks. And a very comfortable headrest which made snoozing easier."
Nevýhody: "Contacting TAP Customer Service was a nightmare. It took forever before anyone answered the phone &, when they did, it was VERY difficult to understand their English. Forget reaching ANYONE after 9 pm; ditto for trying to do anything online, e.g., checking in, picking seats, modifying reservations, etc. If you are forced to do anything at night, prepare yourself for total frustration."

Nevýhody: "Pls make sure you let people know about luggage restrictions at time of purchase. Not at check in. Useless people!"

Výhody: "The crew & cleanliness in general . On time ."
Nevýhody: "What I don’t like in all modern flights in economy( not enough leg room) . I’m 5feet 8 and can hardly fit . I’m Not overweight. I can’t imagine what taller people must feel like."

Výhody: "Seats were nice in the front half of the plane."
Nevýhody: "Checked bag costs are 90USD which is way to high. No meal selection. One choice offered and it was a weird flavor."

Výhody: "Very easy to check in, flight was reasonably priced, and all was very good. My television didn't work, and my friend next to me, couldn't get hers to work. 3 different flight personnel tried to fix, reboot, and to no avail."

Výhody: "Employees are very nice."

Výhody: "Service, the way the pilot communicated our delay and the food and beverage"

Výhody: "Seats are fine. Flight was on time."
Nevýhody: "Food was bad. Not much water given. No snacks between meals. Old entertainment system."

Nevýhody: "The terminals they use have no express lanes for biz travel. Very stressful particularly if short layover time."

Výhody: "Well done...when other airlines offer nothing!"
Nevýhody: "Slight delay in boarding... but arrived on time"

Nevýhody: "Your change and return policy is a ripoff."

Výhody: "On time departure"
Nevýhody: "Slow baggage claim"

Nevýhody: "They cancelled the flight, losted the baggage and couldn't help to resolve the problem. They also lied about the flight they wanted to replace to solve the problem which even didn't exist in their company. So, I will never ever take the flight from this compound again."

Výhody: "i like the snack they gave."

Výhody: "Some staff were helpful"
Nevýhody: "To start off our trip we weren't allowed to get on the plane until an hour after our boarding time. After we were allowed on, the air conditioning was not working and continued to sit on the tarmac not even leaving our terminal for another two hours. Within this two hours there were many elderly people asking for help and one specific gentleman whom was in his late 70s, informed the people around him that he had a pacemaker was pleading to get some air conditioning to the point where 6 people on the airplane were fanning him off. It was 90 degrees in the airplane and we had been sitting in the plane without any help even pleading with the attendents to let the elderly off so they did not pass out. Once we reached the 2 hour mark without any ac the gentleman in his late 70s was beginning to lose consciousness and many people had to call the emergency services, and the crew on flight TP214, tried to tell us everything was fine while the plane was pulling away from the terminal ... as they were giving the man oxygen, even though the elderly gentleman had lost the ability to communicate verbally and was about to pass out. They had to pull the plane back off the tarmac fully delaying us 3 hours in the process making us miss our other two flights. Once we were finally in the air for the 6 hour flight our entertainment system was not working so we were left to twiddle our thumbs for the remainder of the trip. It really ruined what seemed to be an exciting trip and I highly doubt we would ever take TAP Portugal ever again or recommend it to anyone no matter the price."

Nevýhody: "Second connecting flight was very rough. We thought that this would be the shorter, easier flight but it was not"

Nevýhody: "They kept us all day in the airport t to then tell us at 7pm that the flight wouldnt actually leave that day."

Výhody: "Everything was mediocre,"
Nevýhody: "Seats were too narrow,very little leg room,poor choices in entertainment"

Výhody: "The seats were comfortable, but could use a bit more padding for a long flight. The food was decent, and there was a good assortment of movies, music and TV shows."
Nevýhody: "The crew seemed unhappy to be there."

Výhody: "Aircraft seem well maintained and crews are very nice."
Nevýhody: "Boarding was a mess this time. The lady directing the boarding did not make clear where each group should stand. So The lady had to send most of us back which upset many. TAP should copy Southwest Airlines except self checkin kiosk are horrid no matter which airline uses it."

Nevýhody: "Paid for a seat with extra legroom because I'm 6'4". Was given a different seat and still charged."

Nevýhody: "i could had something sweet, but it was ok anyway"

Výhody: "Crew were friendly, and the food and wine were good."
Nevýhody: "Almost not enough leg room to fit in the seat, boarding was a confusing process on both legs."

Výhody: "The captain and the crew were excellent."
Nevýhody: "Upgrade the entertainment system."

Výhody: "Staff and fact that flight was 45mins shorter"
Nevýhody: "CHeck in at Lisbon was messy as they made us get back into a passport control line at the gate even though Everton was already seated. Suggest you do this before we get to the gate. Food was mediocre."

Nevýhody: "One of my luggage was missing."
