Výhody: "At Lisboa airport, I was checked in by Antonio. Most helpful checkin guy I've ever spoken to in my years of traveling. The food is always impressive (for airline food) and they give you a lot to drink. The last time I flew, there was an Autistic passenger throwing a fit and no one seemed to do anything. This time, a person was really upset with his companion on the flight and began screaming. The attendants helped calm him down and fixed the situation quickly. I guess last time they must've just let it happen because of the disability so there's not much they can do in that situation."
Nevýhody: "Not a big ran of the Turkish Airport. Everything is pretty cheap for an airport though if you bring Turkish Lira. They tend to round the price up a bit if you pay in USD or Euro."

Nevýhody: "My connecting flight was cancelled twice then delayed. I ended up missing my connection in Istanbul and having to overnight there. Turkish Airlines did provide hotel accommodation to passengers in similar situation, however only after wondering around the airport for over an hour to find the TK hotel desk and waiting for an additional hour to be assigned a hotel room and be transferred there, only to learn that I had to check out within two and a half hours after checking in to be at the airport 4 hours before the flight departs. When I finally arrived at the airport, I had to go through a security screening (because I was not suspicious for having entered the country and exiting only 5 hours later). When all of that was done, I approach the check in desk and asked if my seat can be changed, as I had spent the previous 2 days trying to get on my connecting flight, spending over 8 continuous hours at an airport and having had a nightmare night. I asked for an exit row seat or anything in the front of the plane. I was literal told that if I did not like the seat given I did not have to fly. I took the seat originally assigned and spent 11 and a half hours sitting next to a toilette on the airplane with a crying baby next to me and in front of me. To top it all, it took 2 hours to get my luggage once arrived at JFK. I usually love traveling on Turkish airlines and I understand not all of the above is directly depending on them, but considering how awful the entire experience was and how little I asked to be happy, I found them to be extremely unaccommodating on this occasion."

When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."
Výhody: "In this day of continuous service cutbacks Lufthansa has managed to keep amenities that make long flights bearable. The boarding was early and efficient. Meals were decent and plentiful. Hot hand wipes were provided. Hundreds of video entertainment options and fairly friendly English speaking flight attendants. I recommend paying the small upcharge to choose seats with extra legroom. totally worth it on the long haul"

Hundreds, or perhaps thousands, of travelers were not informed about what was happening with their connections, or given any guidance. This all arose from around an inch of snow in Frankfurt. It caused bedlam at the Frankfurt airport, which the Lufthansa staff appeared utterly unprepared to deal with. This is our second very bad experience with Lufthansa."

But she presented the two options to the fellow passenger behind us. We were extremely offended by the way we were treated. The airlines offers no entertainment for children as do other airlines. In fact, one air hostess went so far as to ask me to tell my Lil one to MUTE the volume of his ipad."

I found strange flight attendants having a very loud conversation in a very quiet flight where most of the people were sleeping."

Nevýhody: "At checkin in Miami, Agent at the counter was utmost arrogant with no customer skills whatsoever, lack of manners, the whole counter operated like some bad dream circus. Luggage fee you learn about at checkin is the cheapest scam ever!"

Nevýhody: "Our tickets were economy class Y for all of our flights, and we each checked a bag free on the outbound trip. But, returning we had to pay 170 euros for our 2 checked (1 each) bags. TAP (Air Portugal) in Toulouse said our outbound flights were "Basic" fares while our return flights were "Discounted" fares. Discounted fares do not include checked bags while Basic fares include 1 free checked bag. We paid $3,106.36 for the round trip for both of us, which hardly seems like a discounted fare, before paying an additional 170 euros on the return flight. I will be looking into filing a Class Action suit trying to recover all overcharges on behalf of all passengers."

There was ample leg room (even in the economy peasant class), there were innovative changes in the pullout tray, beverage holder, convenience of charging devices, a mirror, specific pockets for books/glass cases/snacks. And a very comfortable headrest which made snoozing easier."

Nevýhody: "To start off our trip we weren't allowed to get on the plane until an hour after our boarding time. After we were allowed on, the air conditioning was not working and continued to sit on the tarmac not even leaving our terminal for another two hours. Within this two hours there were many elderly people asking for help and one specific gentleman whom was in his late 70s, informed the people around him that he had a pacemaker was pleading to get some air conditioning to the point where 6 people on the airplane were fanning him off. It was 90 degrees in the airplane and we had been sitting in the plane without any help even pleading with the attendents to let the elderly off so they did not pass out. Once we reached the 2 hour mark without any ac the gentleman in his late 70s was beginning to lose consciousness and many people had to call the emergency services, and the crew on flight TP214, tried to tell us everything was fine while the plane was pulling away from the terminal ... as they were giving the man oxygen, even though the elderly gentleman had lost the ability to communicate verbally and was about to pass out. They had to pull the plane back off the tarmac fully delaying us 3 hours in the process making us miss our other two flights. Once we were finally in the air for the 6 hour flight our entertainment system was not working so we were left to twiddle our thumbs for the remainder of the trip. It really ruined what seemed to be an exciting trip and I highly doubt we would ever take TAP Portugal ever again or recommend it to anyone no matter the price."
