Nevýhody: "Ryan air has a paid checkin policy that we were not aware of. It was not written properly in the tickets or in any checkin prompts. Since we were traveling I couldn’t check in online. So reached the airport very early but they charged me to check in, that too a ridiculous amount of 100$. The crew was generally rude and non welcoming. The aircraft stops at the middle-of the airport in Budapest and we had to walk a very long stretch to get to the airport in the cold since the plane was not connected to a gate. For sone confusion they stopped boarding in the middle and passengers had to stand in the freezing cold , outside the aircraft , in the middle of the airport for a very long time. Hated the flight. Charges you for every single think you can think and not think off. Every passenger seemed frustrated"

Nevýhody: "To start off with there was only ONE person checking people in before the flight, so it took forever. Then the guy at check-in told us we were already supposed to have our boarding passes printed out and that he was not able to print them for us. Basically, it was a "figure it out for yourself" sort of situation. We went to another counter, not even directly associated with Ryan, and a very nice gentleman there printed our passes for us. He also seemed really confused as to why the Ryan Air employee wouldn't print them for us. Then, we weren't given a gate assignment until 20 mintues before the time we were supposed to board. How do you expect your customers to be prepared if you can't even tell them where they are supposed to go until the last minute? Then they made us board a bus to take us to the plane on the tarmac which was not a big deal. But they made us stand on the bus for 20+ mintues before they took us over to the plan. The bus was completely full, so it's not like they were waiting to load more passengers. The doors to the bus were open, so it was freezing cold (our flight was late at night) and we were forced to breath in exhaust fumes from the bus the entire time! The flight was also an hour delayed!!! I know it's a super cheap ticket, but do yourself a favor and spend a little more money to fly on an airline that actually knows what they're doing. This is my first and most definitely LAST time flying on Ryan Air. If I could give zero stars, I would."

I carried a personal baggage with me on the plane then flight attendant took it away and told me I will get it back at the arrival belt. When I landed I couldn’t find mine. I had reported to the ground desk and they not helpful at all. So now I lost all of my travel documents and money. I feel so bad. This Tuesday I will fly back to Thailand and still don’t know how to redo my passport."
Nevýhody: "Issues getting checked in. Multiple lines which we were ushered from and to only to be told to go back to self check kiosk. By the time we get to self check kiosk for the 2nd time our gate is closed and we’ve missed our flight. Not sure why the person at the check in counter couldn’t check our bags for us and get us moving through security??? No offer of any reimbursement and additionall cost for new flight later in the day at more than twice the cost of the flight we missed. Lack of clear direction or any semblance of customer service. I guess you get what you pay for..."

The flight bordered 40 minutes late and then sat on the runway for an hour. They was never an announcement as to why. My mother is in a wheelchair. They didn't let her pre-board, and then put her wheelchair through with the luggage. She had to get to the luggage carousel without it. They told her to just walk. Luckily, she can walk a little with help. Yikes, if she was totally disabled."

Nevýhody: "The flight was slightly delayed by the previous flight landing late. Obviously this happens, that's fine, but on landing at stanstead the bags from the hold were not released onto the baggage carousel for over an hour and a half after we landed. This is completely unacceptable and wasn't acknowledged by airport staff for over an hour, with no explanation given at any point."

Nevýhody: "First of all, the website is laid out in such a way that it's easy to make unnessasarry additional purchases. We ended up purchasing seats at the very back of the plane. We were unable to print our boarding tickets prior to checking in at the airport and after waiting in line for help, were directed to self help computers that we had to pay-to-use. These were not working and after lining up for help several more times (to get change to pump into the computers etc...) and sending off a 'chat help request we finally left and got a different clerk. While this second clerk was telling us we'd have to pay for her help, someone else overheard our challenges and took over from the clerk, printed our boarding tickets at no further charge and got us on our way. While we certainly appreciate the service at the end, it should never have come to that."

There was no link sent to me to print out my boarding pass When we got to Stansted, there were no working kiosks. We went to the check-in desk, where apparently many people were having the same problem we were. My wife and I were told by a very rude Ryanair employee we hadn't checked in. I showed the woman my email receipt and she refused to honor it. We are challenging the charge on our credit card. She lectured us on showing up to the airport two hours in advance. We told her we had, but had been in line for 50 minutes. My wife paid 50 pounds each to check us in, even then the security set up was... labyrinthine. And mind you, I say that knowing full well how long an airport security line can be. When we got to the point where we were supposed to hand our boarding passes over to be scanned and verified, mine wouldn't work. I waited there while the security officer called the desk we'd just come from to verify I was allowed to fly. Mind you, we were being told the gate was about to close, so time was precious. After getting through that and security, we encountered another problem. If you don't know, Stansted airport is actually a mall with an airport somewhere inside. We ran through a long, snaking corridor of shops, following signs saying "all gates." It was an absurdly long run. I don't think I've seen any other airport laid out so poorly, most have shops mixed in with gates, but not Stansted. The gates are all at the end of this silly commercial strip. But not really, you see... when we got to the end, there were no gates, but trams to another terminal. We boarded the tram, got to our terminal and ran even faster to make our flight. Luckily, Ryanair is so disgustingly disorganized that the flight was delayed. Amazingly that which caused us so much stress ended up saving us. I will never fly on this pathetic, god-forsaken airline again. It is a scam designed to filch people who are in a desperate position out of money. Also, I would advise anyone to stay away from Stansted airport. Seriously, I've flown extensively in the Americas and have encountered some pretty chaotic facilities, but Stansted was utterly soviet in its disorganization. I'd rather wait for a bus at New York City's Port Authority bus station, navigating vomiting hobos, than deal with Ryanair, or Stansted airport, ever again."

Nevýhody: "I was told I could not use my pillow for take-off, landing and the majority of the in flight. I broke my neck years ago and I need the pillow for neck support especially for takeoff and landings which are always the most painful part. ( Didn't help that the pilot had rough decent and a violent touchdow on landing). I just truly am baffled as to why I was not allowed to use a pillow? We are not talking about some large bed pillow we are talking about a small pillow that takes up no room and is specifically made for flying. I tried using my water bottle as neck support but it was no luck. Flying is already painful enough and to not be allowed to use a pillow which helps to support the neck is truly agregious. I really don't know what to say on why this wasn't allowed but I hope this issue is solved with upper management so the next person with such a problem will Never have to go through this. As for I, I will never use Ryanair again. Truly disappointing."

Nevýhody: "I had just flown in on another Ryanair flight where I had stored my roll-on in the overhead bin. For the next leg the gate agent said my bag must fit in the "If it fits your bag flies free" container. It did not fit and he ignored my observation that it had fit in the bin just 30 minutes prior (identical planes Boeing 737 800). He charged me 50 Euros, delayed boarding, but remained courteous throughout. My complaint is that the unequal sizes of overhead bins and size-gauge allows for caprice and introduces tension between customer and agent. He was within his guidelines but many bags were allowed on that would not have fit. So does the company wish to continue a practice that alienates customers and places extra stress on gate agents? I'll never fly Ryanair until they eliminate this shell game."

Nevýhody: "The boarding process was incredibly disorganized, with no rhyme or reason for why we were waiting in line after line after line without getting close to boarding the plane. The flight was delayed so we missed our takeoff time, and had to sit on the tarmac for an additional hour and a half until we could get another time. There were very few updates given, and people had to ask flight attendants for updates since no one knew what was going on (even the flight attendants didn't know). We weren't provided any snacks or drinks (not even water) and were told we couldn't even purchase water from them because they weren't allowed to sell anything until we were in the air. When we arrived in Edinburgh, we had to wait for a gate to be available because we were so late, and then had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes for grounds crew (which ended up being one woman) before we could get off the plane."
Nevýhody: "Our backpacks cost as much as our tickets. I probably will use them again, though."
Výhody: "They should bring their service to the United States. I enjoyed it and the $499 savings over top named carriers"
