Deplaning by row groups due to covid was a joke - we were then crammed into a bus to the Munich intl terminal. Wifi did not work at all on the 9 hr flight.

After booking a day-room at a local hotel, I checked in on-line and discovered for 115 euros I could have upgraded to business class, with luggage included, and been accommodated on schedule changes. My suggestion to Lufthansa is if they intend to rip their customers off it's best NOT TO LET THEM FIND OUT ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE, or if they're simply too incompetent to match marketing offers to their booking department they could save considerable income and reputation by closing the ticket office. As it was, the impression was a low-class money grab. It's not like they can count on their partnership with United to make them look good."

When I called and asked if they would rebook me the lady on the phone said that she could rebook for a trip that had two layovers from 2pm(Prague time) to 8:30pm(NYC time) for the 24th of November (thanksgiving). When I asked her if there was anything else she said that was the soonest flight she could find. When I checked my self I found and booked a flight for the 23rd. When I called back they refused to give me a refund."

Eventually routed via Lisbon which meant literally flying all night to arrive at 0600. Lufthansa and Austrian have some serious faults to correct."

Besides this things when I came to plane my sit and table tray was dirty so we had to put blanket over... for the first time I write bad feedback but I have to cause it was terrible.."

Had to then go to the only counter in the terminal to see if we could get on standby. Finally got on a flight to JFK instead at 5:15pm."

Though there were slight delays due to technical checks at boarding time, everything else was on schedule and we even landed slightly ahead of time, never a bad thing. My criticism was the overoptimism of the captain how quickly things would happen and on arrival in Brussels the total unpreparedness of the ground staff to cope with half a plane load of people with connections having missed those connections."
Nevýhody: "I'm very disappointed because i wasn't allowed to travel back to the US from Brussels (Belgium). i was supposed to connect in Toronto but because I'm a foreign student in the US, I wasn't aware that i needed a Canadian Visa to transit in Toronto. so lost my flight and i hard to spend another thousand euros to catch the next flight that will connect in the US territory. I made all the call possible to resolve my flight issue and no one could help me either Brussels airline personnel or the kayak customer service. until today i didnt have not even a email to let me know what happen."

Then on this flight the stewardess tried to tell me that I could not put my bag on the bin on top of my head - she was reserving it for other passengers! Then she realized that her comment might sound racist (so she apologized), then she told me that I could not put my small bag under the chair. Finally I told her that she is certainly looking for a way to get me off the flight to which she answered "I can certainly find something!!!" Cultural sensitivity is needed with these stewardesses who are racist like I don't understand and I was certainly polite!"

Výhody: "As far as flying goes the crew where very professional, pleasant and helpful. Honestly, I did not interact with them much but they seemed to all get along well and do their work happily and efficiently. They managed a large multi cultural flight well which is likely no easy job!"
Nevýhody: "Seats: Why is that head rest attachment on the seat? It's AWFUL! It forces your neck in a very bad position. You have to be tall to use it properly. There should be a way to remove it for those of us too short to use it as it was meant to be used. The food on this flight was not the worst I have ever had but it certainly was not goo either. Two rice dishes...why? Boarding seemed to be slow and a bit unorganized. Why not board by seat zones?"

Nevýhody: "Honestly, I would consider myself well travelled but after this flight I wanted to rule out air travel from our future plans. The take off was bumpy, fast and uncomfortable. Handling the turbulence was unbearable and I had a full blown panic attack on the flight. I couldn't understand a word of the English announcements each time we hit turbulence. I felt unbearably sick but couldn't bring myself to get out of my seat. There was no food, no entertainment, and definitely no entertainment. I hope to never fly Volotea again."
Nevýhody: "the app is that that great, it gets stook. Also, they don't have any chance to change or re-schedule any flight."
Nevýhody: "To check a bag is about $75 if you do it at airport. We witnessed a number of people who had done carry on from Athens to Santorini not be able to do carry on back. It's a scam on the Island. The bin in which you have to fit your bag is smaller on Santorini."
Výhody: "Boarding was like any other boarding, it went fine, but then we had to sit on runway for about 30 minutes or so. Not a huge deal. I keep myself busy on computer so flight went quickly."
Nevýhody: "Flight crew was not happy and they didn't even pretend to be. Seats were not comfortable at all and mine even had a huge tear in it so it just bugged my back side the entire flight. Food was not good at all! Salad smelled moldy. Oh yeah, and I ended up paying extra for my bags that were exactly the same as my husbands but he was not up charged. Between the c crew and the constant selling and up charges, I would rather pay more for a different company."

Nevýhody: "Scheduled departure time was 4:00 p.m., but we did not leave until 11:00 p.m. due to a problem with the fuel level indicator. We were kept in the departure gate for 7 hours without a proper explanation in English. When they finally realized they could not repair the plane, they put everyone on another plane. We were given a voucher to use at the snack counter for 10 euros per person, but when we got to the counter there was no food or wine left. Imagine, running out of wine in France! I understand that mechanical issues on planes happen, but it was left far too long to attempt to repair it. A replacement plane should have been supplied after a one hour delay, not 7 hours."

As we were arriving at the gate, we saw the last bus leave taking passengers to the aircraft. The lady at the counter kept yelling at us for the next 15 minutes and kept saying we were late and the last bus had left. We were 9 passengers all together and it would have been a lot easier if she would have called the driver to pick us up. After realizing we had small kids, she finally called someone after 15 minutes but that was too late. We missed our flight. There was no supervisor to talk to and no where to file complaints."

Ridiculous.y small measurement boxes for carry on luggage which would not hold standard carry on bags. This dispute the plane having full sized overhead bins that easily accommodated the bags. Forced us to pay $60 a bag under the pretext that the bags would have to be ch caked. But they didn't, we just carried them on and there was plenty of room. They were rude and unreasonable and let lots of people through without the charges after they simply removed items from their bags and carried them a few feet before putting them back. It was just a shake down."

Other flights and trains in Italy seemed to be delayed too!! (not operated by Volotea)! I did pay extra in advance for baggage and printed out boarding cards before leaving USA for Italy. Familiarize yourself with the rules. Ate a sandwich on board, good enough and friendly flight attendants."
Nevýhody: "I had over 100 Euro extra charges on arrival at the airport that i did not expect. It makes it very difficult to compare flights when the actual cost is buried in fine print. If airlines would not charge such excessive fees for luggage, then their would be room in the overhead space; i wouldn't have to rush to get a seat; and security lines would be much shorter..."

Nevýhody: "The easyjet app is really not good. I only received updates through Kayk app on my phone about delays that were constantly increasing and decreasing in time. At one point, there was a delay for 1.5 hrs, but suddenly, the delay changed to just 30 minutes. If I hadn't of had my other app, I would have never known. Secondly, the easyjet app didn't save the fact that I had checked in. This caused an issue when I wanted to access my boarding pass getting onto the plane. I tried to see it, but the app said my plane had taken off and so I couldn't access it and therefore, wasn't sure of my seat number. Next time, I'd just appreciate a paper boarding pass because the issues that occur on the phone are too numerous."

However, I was told today, no personal item was allowed. Not even a purse. I was then asked to stay outside the gate and try to fit my backpack an its contents into my suitcase. This was not possible, and not only was I charged over $70 to check my carry on bag, the man at the gate so so rude, he didn't seen to even want to take my money. He ignored me while I tried to figure out what I could do. Very disappointing, and what a low way to rip of your customers."
