Cabin was about 10° warmer than I was comfortable with in jeans and a long sleeve t shirt.

Výhody: "Most of the crew was great with the exception of curbside check-in in Denver."
Nevýhody: "Curbside needs to stop chasing cash tips and do their jobs. If they focused on that tips would be easy to come by. The curbside attendant that took my bag didn’t even bother to check my id. He asked me my name and asked where my destination was. I told him Cincinnati as a layover then LaGuardia where he said that was wrong. He then proceeded to print a boarding pass that wasn’t mine and load my bag into the conveyor. Not 5 mins go by when I realize what happened I wound up having to go to special services to rectify the situation. Which ultimately consisted of me waiting another hour in LaGuardia to get my bag. Please delta have these curbside handlers actually want to do their job and stop chasing cash tips."
Nevýhody: "We PAID $30/each to check 2 bags, both ways, so $120 total. Then at the gate, BOTH WAYS, Delta Gate Reps allowed people to check bags for FREE, & pick up at bag claim, just like WE PAID TO DO. NO MORE DELTA FOR US!"

Nevýhody: "The security process in the Prague airport is so ridiculous. There are security agents who screen you in the baggage drop off line that makes the line take a very long time. Once you finally get your sticker from them it’s a quick trip through customs. Then the pain really begins with a security scan st each individual gate to enter a boarding area for the plane. Then I was pulled for extra security where a male agent touched my but with some sort of swab with no warning. He then claimed to not speak English (with zero accent when I asked him a question). It was a humiliating and very long process all run by delta!"

Instead of waiting for 22 hours for the next available flight, or driving for 7 hours from Atlanta to Cincinnati, we had to fly into another city and drive to Cincinnati from there AT OUR OWN EXPENSE. It was a rebooking nightmare."

Deplaning by row groups due to covid was a joke - we were then crammed into a bus to the Munich intl terminal. Wifi did not work at all on the 9 hr flight.

When I called and asked if they would rebook me the lady on the phone said that she could rebook for a trip that had two layovers from 2pm(Prague time) to 8:30pm(NYC time) for the 24th of November (thanksgiving). When I asked her if there was anything else she said that was the soonest flight she could find. When I checked my self I found and booked a flight for the 23rd. When I called back they refused to give me a refund."

The desk agent at check-in wouldn't check my second bag and didn't know how much the fee even was for the second bag. She was not exactly pleasant, which might have been because it was 430 in the morning but still. I just ended up carrying on two pretty big bags. The crew ended up gate checking one for me in Frankfurt which was nice. But I would have paid not to carry that dumb thing around with me through the giant Frankfurt airport. Other than the one desk woman in Prague, everything else was good."

Traveling these days can be a little strange and at times more difficult than normal due to this pandemic. Finnair did an amazing job and all areas of the trip! I would absolutely fly with finnair again and will recommend the airline to friends and family.

Pleasant flight, was delayed 3 1/2 hours

Nevýhody: "It may be not about flying process but airport environment or service. ARN airport was a bit cold even inside of the building . The WiFi was offered only limited time , which was very shorter than I expected but overall status with cosy mood made me as if I were at home . On the other hand , the finnair check in counter had only two , one of which was business and the other was economy it took about 40mins to send my luggage and check in ."
Nevýhody: "Whoever designed and built this airplane should literally be INDICTED - AND I AM NOT KIDDING! We were in disbelief the moment we boarded and saw the airplane. 10 people across jammed into the row??!! - and on an long international flight?? - are you kidding??!! Further, these were the SMALLEST seats I have EVER been forced to sit in. Neither I, or my friend came close to fitting. We literally had to alternate getting up and standing because we were literally overlapping each other when we sat! (His shoulder and arm were literally on top of me!!). It was so bad that when the stewardess came rolling down the aisle with her cart, I had to be aware and see her in advance so I could literally TURN MY BODY OVER TO THE LEFT HALF ON TOP OF THE PERSON SITTING NEXT TO ME SO SHE WOULDN'T TAKE OFF MY ARM AND SHOULDER. ULTIMATELY, SOMEONE, OR MORE THAN ONE PERSON, IS GOING TO GET SERIOUSLY HURT BY THIS RECKLESS, GREED-DRIVEN DESIGN!! The OVERT GREED by the airline (American) clearly reflected by this in trying to JAM as many human beings into a flight as possible like Sardines is DISGUSTING!!! You simply DO NOT TREAT HUMAN BEINGS THIS WAY!! It is also clear evidence that there needs to be tighter standards, regulations and penalties by the FAA and what is allowed by airlines. AND I AM SENDING A LETTER TO THE FAA!!!"

Nevýhody: "The service. 3 hour late flight, had to rebook my connection out of my own pocket. After we got on the plane, we find out the issues were not fixed and had to wait another hour. Terrible food. Yogurt was actually expired, so I had no breakfast. People were all nice as they told me I should have booked the flights together. Hmmm... Maybe you should not have been 4 hours late. I planned my trip with more than enough time to make connection... Called about my travel insurance and found out it kicked in after 6 hour delay. Customer service should never make you feel like the issue is your fault."

Girl next to me was so childish Loud mouth complaining because she couldn't sit next to her bf."

Výhody: "Having read horror stories online about booking with Kayak's partner Justfly, I was prepared for the worst (last-minute cancellations, partial refunds, all-around crummy service). Actually, my Finnair flight was great - it was operated by BA, so it was a nice new double-decker Airbus plane. It was maybe 3/4ths full, so I nearly had a row to myself - shoutout to the jerk who decided he was entitled to the aisle seat. The flight was smooth and easy and best of all, it cost a fraction of what the BA price for a one-way from SFO to LHR cost."

I also received an email from Kayak at 7 am that said there was no delay so I didn't check to see if there would be any others. I never received an email from Kayak about the delay. I would just suggest making sure all the alerts I get are correct. I also receieved an email to check in 72 hours before the flight but it wouldn't let me on Finnair.com Maybe I was supposed to go to Open Skies. Thanks! Melodie"

I attempted to change my return flight due to a medical emergency but was unable to do so through the call center. I requested a call back from a supervisor but never received it. Finally I booked a completely new return ticket.

It was only a short trip On time and easy

From using an app that denied my negative covid test THREE times because they misread it and tried to mislead me about it ("Maybe the date isn't specified?" when it very much was and I'd drawn attention to its correct location); to the fact that my connecting flight wasn't even available in this app was supposed to determined whether I could fly to my final destination; ti the fact that a supposedly vital piece of documentation wasn't even mentioned in that app; to the unnecessary delaying of a connecting flight by several hours that was suddenly on time again upon landing minutes only late, which somehow required all passengers with ANY connecting flight to run to their gate regardless of destination; to the fact that the boarding passes didn't include my initial return flight and only the connecting, which was cause to be denied entry to the airport, to the apparenly unknown and much disputed location of the check-in where I would have to report to get said boarding pass; to the ONE HOUR WAIT behind maybe 20 people total in spite of having no bags to check because again, I had no boarding pass; to the app incorrectly stating that no additional covid test was needed only to find out after having been at the airport THREE HOURS; to the fact that my itinerary"couldn't" be changed because it was "in flight" while the "fare difference" I would be charged went up $100 every hour I was forced to wait because there were magically no notes regardingmy flight every time I called back as directed; this was a miserable experience all around. Never recommending aer lingus to anyone ever and certainly won't fly it again. Guess I won't ever find my long lost relatives...

On the return flight, home, she was told there wasn't even a seat for her on the plane. I failed to add that after booking and paying for her flight, they cancelled and deleted the SFO to London leg of the flight without so much as notifying her via email, phone, or text. Mind you, the London to Paris leg was not cancelled. Had we not tried to pre-book our seats, she would never have known they had cancelled her flight. What impacted her, impacted me, so needless to say, neither of us will ever fly BA again! BTW, their online customer service representatives were very nasty to deal with."

My husbands entertainment unit would not work, after we paid $90 each for an 'upgrade'. Also, somehow British Airways didn't communicate I was Gluten free so I had no meals or snacks for the flight. I would not recommend using Aer Lingus even if BA books this leg as part of an overall travel."

It cost us (1) car rental, (2) lost day of sightseeing, (3) price of a new car seat, and (4) price of a replacement car seat when we returned home as the one we could find on the trip is not legal in the US."

The AL staff at the airport told us that we should have booked through them directly but as you know the flight prices would then have been several hundred dollars additional for each. Seats were SO CLOSE, way too close for a 6+ hour flight Crew allowed passengers to drink alcohol until they were totally inebriated, which was unpleasant for many of us"

Got passed over during the first drink service. Second service was more agreeable. Passengers are allowed to prop their feet up on the backs of the seats in front of them and to play their devices without headphones so everyone has to listen to it?For 4 hours. Why does this go unchecked? Is the comfort of a single passenger more important than all the others? I normally have nothing but good things to say about Air France but they missed the mark today by a wide margin.

They just let people fly without properly using the required mask

My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."
Nevýhody: "Entertainment screen did not work; in neighboring seat it could not be switched off when we wanted to sleep; sourly employees everywhere (re-booking counter an exception); food close not being edible and cold; I forgot my watch on when going through security in the Air France terminal; when I started to say "sorry" I was yelled at by the screener who said that she will do the talking; she sent me back through the scanner twice without my watch, then once more with the carry-on and made sure that I went to the end of a very long line to wait for another screening rather than having me just go through the scanner without my watch. Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

If you have an important trip avoid Air France - they treat you like captives not customers."
Výhody: "The flight crew was excellent. My husband and I flew economy and I saw the crew keep passengers well fed (several meals and snacks) and were attentive to everyone's needs and all done with a smile. I thought the hot towels for cleansing our hands before meals was a very nice touch!"

In Paris, but ONLY after I located my receipt on my phone, they moved us to the seats we had paid for."
