Nevýhody: "No movies available, bathrooms were dirty and out of toilet paper. Food was really bad tasting. I had the gluten free meal which consisted of browning iceberg lettuce with one teensy piece of green pepper and olive oil - no vinegar! Literally a 2”x2” piece of overcooked rubbery chicken, literally a large marble sized ball of over cooked spinach, some tastless rice and a rice cake - plain. Ugh. I asked the check-in guy in Moscow if he could please confirm that we were at the right gate, and he barked at me “WAIT!!!” Like who talks to a customer in that tone? It was just unpleasant. While Aeroflot wasn’t horrible and would be tolerable in a pinch, I would try to avoid this ain-line if possible."
Výhody: "I gave it a 10 as the flight itself was very good, as have been all of my Aeroflot flights. More comfortable seats than most airlines, attentive and kind stewardesses, a very good flight, and good food. They even pass out sleep masks, slippers, and have personal toothbrush and toothpaste kits available in the bathroom. Much better than most American airlines."
Nevýhody: "However, the ticketing and boarding personel at JFK are no longer the former polite and efficient Russian-speaking staff, and I wonder if this is a forced change due to JFK union rules? They are now native New Yorkers of various ethnic groups, like random JFK personnel, but not one of them ticketing us in the late evening spoke Russian! I saw several Russians struggling to try to get them to understand ticketing problems, and one older woman burst into tears, thinking they were telling her she couldn't get on the plane. The woman at the desk just coldly held up her hands in an X, gesturing her to get away. Please go back to the native Russian-language speakers. I didn't know if these were really Aeroflot employees, so didn't give a low rating as the flight itself was great. Also, when they lined us up to get on the plane it was four lines, with no instruction and no signs, even in English as to what the lines were for-- we were simply lined up like cattle, and after shoving me from one line to the next, with no explanation, even in English, finally herded us on the plane. It was a dehumanizing experience."

Nevýhody: "I had received a boarding pass to the gate #15 and was waiting next to that gate for the boarding. Sheremetievo changed it to the gate #2 and call my last name with completely wrong pronunciation. When I realized that my plane is leaving I had to run more than 1 mile to the gate #2 for the 3 min. You have to be a world champion to do it in time so I was 2 min late. The company forced me to buy a new ticket for $100 from Moscow to St Petersburg and said that they never recognize that that is their fault. Several other people were late to that plane."
Výhody: "Great and frequent meals, pleasant staff. The airplane is in a good condition. I really like how they give you a small paper menu before serving food which shows you what the food is going to be served and the choices you're gonna have."
Nevýhody: "Awful tablets which are supposed to show movies and other stuff. The touch screen is awful, but there is a mechanical control without which it would be impossible to use. The feedback of this mechanical control is so slow that it makes you feel like being punished for something. I don't know why it's so hard to make a responsive tablet but it's a problem on many-many airplanes. These tablets are so bad that sometimes I think it would be better without one at all."

I had to book a new flight. They did not understand that I had to leave the country because of my tourist visa. They did not offer me a full refund."

Výhody: "Excellent entertainment system. Very new planes. Good food (for airline food). Very efficient staff (not warm and fuzzy, and definitely not a comedy team, but efficient and friendly). Loved the view from the front camera that I could get through the entertainment system. Wonderful selection of entertainment options. No bull* about charging people for the headphones or the movies. And everyone got a pillow, a blanket, slippers and a sleep mask. Lovely!"
Nevýhody: "Well, I wasn't too fond of having to sit on the runway at Dulles for three hours while the thunderstorms raged. But taking off wouldn't have been a viable option. :) Actually, it wasn't that long for the thunderstorms, but something very heavy fell on the top of the plane while we were waiting. Maybe a bowling ball? I was torn between wanting to get off the ground, and being terrified that they would take off without checking out whatever the heck that sound was. Apparently, they did check it out. We pulled over to a maintenance spot and sat there for a while before we took off. If there was anything I didn't like about the flight, it was that there was no announcement about what had happened and what they were doing about it. But I'm nosey."

Výhody: "I flew in the business class cabin direct non-stop Los Angeles -> Moscow Russia. It was a pretty normal business class experience, nothing too special, but nothing lacking. Mostly I slept for 9 hours in the fully lay flat business class seats and they left me alone."
Nevýhody: "While serving dinner, the flight attendants acted REALLY stressed out, as if what they were doing was super ultra important that they get it right or they would be fired (or taken out back and shot). It was a strange vibe. I mean, we're all trapped in the air for an 11 hour flight, it isn't like I have an important meeting to attend in 5 minutes. :-) The flight attendants should smile, say hello, be professional but relaxed!!"

Výhody: "Unlike most airlines now, Aeroflot gave me 1 full meal on the flight between Milan and Moscow and 2 meals betwen Moscow and LA. They also made regular water and coke servings, as well as coffee and tea -- and a moist towelette, slippers and individual movies for the economy class. I recommend Aeroflot for their overall friendliness and consistent service!"
