Nevýhody: "The security process in the Prague airport is so ridiculous. There are security agents who screen you in the baggage drop off line that makes the line take a very long time. Once you finally get your sticker from them it’s a quick trip through customs. Then the pain really begins with a security scan st each individual gate to enter a boarding area for the plane. Then I was pulled for extra security where a male agent touched my but with some sort of swab with no warning. He then claimed to not speak English (with zero accent when I asked him a question). It was a humiliating and very long process all run by delta!"

Výhody: "Even though we were in the very back row, we did not experience a foul smell from the restrooms. This was a very nice relief. It is bad enough that the seats don't recline and there is no window in the very back row but prior experience with the added nausea of foul restroom order has been a serious insult to injury. In this case there was really minimal odor. Also since we are traveling as a family we are very happy that we were seated together. We have experienced the past that sometimes our seats will be fragmented and that creates major challenges when you are traveling with young children. However on this particular flight the ride was rough during both takeoff and landing, a lot of side to side shimmy. Also the cabin pressure varied quite a bit during landing causing all the kids to complain about some discomfort in their ears."
Výhody: "About 10-15 yrs ago I stopped transatlantic flights on Delta. It was a scruffy airline with uninterested cabin crew & not to talk of food etc. What a change! Neat clean A330, friendly crew & food + beverages to brag (you pay outrageous prices on 'leaner-meaner' airlines if at all available). Loved the whole experience. Flying is not only getting from A to B & Delta has realized it. Looking forward to my next Delta flight!"

On overnight flight from Boston to Dublin, could barely sleep because flight crew kept interrupting with announcements about collecting trash."

My brother and his daughter had their seats changed, too, and they were in middle seats 14 rows apart, so she flew by herself on an international flight all by hersel! My headphones wouldn't work correctly in the double jack, only getting one side. Why change the plugs? The flight attendant said that they wouldn't work and that she would get me a headset. Two hours into the flight I finally got a headset. The male flight attendant was great, but unfortunately we were dealing with others that totally ignored my two small requests for the entire 6 hour flight. Our flight to Dublin was awesome, but this flight back was very very disappointing!! Changed my while feeling about Aer Lingus"

Price was right, but lack of leg room and things like charging for things other airlines do not, should be factored in when choosing them. There was a 2.5 hour delay and I think that passengers should have received some compensation for that. A voucher or at least a free drink, nada."

I was wearing a fleece jacket & had a blanket but was still cold. Of course row 28 sees a lot of traffic & noise from the lavatories so that wasn't fun but the cold was the main problem."

Nevýhody: "International flights usually include wine with their meal but this would have been an overpriced purchase. The selection of food was marginal and too spicy, only the dessert was edible. Not the quality of the last trip on aer Lingus. There was a second snack sandwich although soggy and unappealing with a minimal slice of chicken."

Nevýhody: "Web check in was severely broken or misprogrammed during my two weeks of travel. This would not have mattered if they had simply assigned seats at the time of purchase. I bought tickets 8 months in advance for a family of 4. On our overnight flight we were shoved in to nonreclining seats in front of the noisiest bulkhead service area I have ever encountered. None of the 5 phone reps or onsight staff were able to help and were nasty into the bargain. One of them lied to me about the seat position on the phone. The staff made no attempt to keep things quiet on the flight and in fact made most of the noise themselves. The armrests can't be folded up because they crammed too many seats across. And the bathrooms right on either end of our row wafted noxious odors over us every time they were opened. This resulted in losing two days of my expensive vacation trying to recover from lack of sleep. This is in return for giving Aer Lingus the use of $4200 for 8 months. I would never use this airline again."

I know it was a big plane and there were a lot of us waiting, but it still seemed to take longer than expected."

I e-mailed two Aer Lingus addresses, one kayak/vayama customer service address, tweeted at Aer Lingus and even sent them a facebook message. When I called Aer Lingus, I had to wait on hold for an HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES before anyone answered the phone. They said that I couldn't pre-choose my seat and that I had to select it at the airport. Well, when I got to the airport, the Aer Lingus staff said that wasn't true and that the only seat left was in the very back of the plane. Far away from my friend. What a waste of time. This airline was extremely unorganized. Choosing a seat seems to be a rather simple thing to do on every other airline."
Výhody: "Overall nothing. I requested Aisle seat & Veg food through Etihad Helpline before commencement of my journey. But Aer Lingus crew refused to listen it saying they didn't receive any instruction from Etihad."

We arrived on-time, went through the line and were then placed in a standing room only area to stand and wait for another 45 minutes before boarding. We were placed near the entrance (I thought to board early as a family) but were later told to join another line when we asked why we sere just standing and waiting while other passengers were walking past us. The communication between staff and between your staff and passengers was poor."
Nevýhody: "at check-in agent said we did not have coverage on our ticket for our 2 -50lb bags dispite informing her that we were covered and had no problem on our arriving flight to Portugal - we had to pay 196 Euros or leave our bags in Portugal Additionally we had ordered a wheelchair to assist my wife to the gate - which we also had our arriving flight - agent said she had no record of it. She said we could wait which we did and waited 2 hours to obtain a wheelchair (and came close to missing our plane) not to mention the stress associated with the whole check in process"

Also since I am left handed I could not really eat since with the right-handed old lady we were hitting each other's elbow and nocking each the food out of each other's hand, I finally pulled my elbow in and ate like a T-Rex. The person in front of me pushed their seat back all the way, I asked the crew member to do something but nothing really was done, since I am a little taller I could not fit my knees, they were crushed."

Upon arrival, my new bag i hadnt used as yet was broken and TAP pays nothing and does no kind of exchange for broken bags. Basically- they dont care! During my return flight, despite being checked in adn being at the airport wel ahead of time, the airport clerks gyided me to the wrong desk and I had to wait longer than needed. The check in for baggages had closed by 1 min. They were allowing me to take the flight only if I threw out all my liquids or else were off loading me. They proposed no other solution and wanted to make me pay 450 dollara to put me on the flight the next day. I had an interview the following day and needed to return. I ended buying a new full fare ticket with British airways and got excellent service. I am yet to complain to TAP."

I thought he had a lot of cross wind. Talked to him later. Told me this was the normal procedure ?? The crew: some are doing very well, with enthusiasm, some of them could do another job."

From Prague we were on time, When boarding in London started we were told to sit down again claiming Boeing 777 had equipment problem and they were waiting for parts to fix it. Our departure was delayed by 1 hour. Seats in economy class are really cramped so when seats are declined person behind can not eat without banging head into the back rest. Difficult to get in and out of seat as well. Arm rests do not come all the way up so one has to squat to avoid being hit by arm rest. Not very pleasant on 11 hour long flight. Joe"

I got immediately greeted by a flight attendant and got offered a glass of water (real glass) followed by a warm towel. The seats were wider and had more leg room than in economy and reclined more. The food was delicious and served with real silverware. Complimentary blanket, a pillow, socks, toothpaste, toothbrush, ear plugs and a sleep mask ensured that I got a good few hours of sleep. I was definitely much more rested than I would have been in an economy seat and very grateful for the upgrade!"
Nevýhody: "flight delayed over 1.25 hours because we missed our runway time due to being "unable to get a head count" of the people that are on board. This should be embarrassing for BA. And i don't understand how after all the security, boarding pass and passport checks that you do not have an accurate head count of your passangers. Thus I missed my connecting flight and had to wait over 4 hours for another and got a measly 10 Euros as compensation. Also, they don't even give water for free, and a 200ml juice costs 1.5 Euros which a) its bad juice and b) overpriced. All food you now pay extra for, and they didnt even make it in time to the last few rows so even if Id want to purchase something, I couldn't."

When they heard about our plight at LHR Term. 5 when connecting to this flight, they were very considerate and offered to send in a report (still waiting for the result of this, no contact yet 6 days later). Again, the luggage space and lie-flat seats (Club World) and meals (except my gluten-free meal) were very good, as was entertainment and cleanliness of the plane and lavs. This flight was supposed to be delayed by two hours, but in the end, they managed to take off at the originally scheduled time. More good news: the flight was smooth and arrived on time and most importantly, safely. Luggage arrived quickly and in good condition on the carousel. BA is really good!"

Nevýhody: "What was not fine was the horror at the other end when air Canada lost my bag (which had my suit and prescriptions) and couldn't tell me where it was or when it would be delivered for over two days of calling between their service centre and one the ground people at Boston. The call centre was in India, no one in Boston would tell them what was going on. It should not take three days to sort, when the bag had actually been sent on the next flight (on Saturday evening) after the one I took. Fortunately, was able to borrow BP medication from a relative and ultimately had to spend money to buy new suit and clothes before bag finally appeared because I had business meetings for which I needed appropriate attire. Every other airline I gave flown where my bag was delayed was always delivered in 24 hours. This was not Brussels airlines fault, it was the fault of air Canada."
Výhody: "The flight from Toronto to Boston is extremely short, about an hour. I don’t feel as though I can rate the food since I didn’t buy any, it just doesn’t give me an option to not rate it. It was a completely full flight. It was as comfortable as can be. It’s a smaller plane so you feel everything but the captains were good flyers."

For a plane where half of the people there had missed their connecting flight and were put on a 6:30 am flight, I don’t think we wanted to hear about their detailed personal lives."

Air Canada offered no help whatsoever and the guy at the “service” desk in Boston literally said there was nothing he could do to help. Not even find a new flight. Spent 90 minutes on the phone trying to re-book, plus re-booking hotel along the way."

My return flight was cancelled amd i was automatically put on a different flight, and instead of waiting more than 2 hours from boston to get to canada, i was put on an earlier flight for which i am thankful for. However we couldnt take off as delta was clogging up the way to the runaway so ended up waitimg an hour to taje off which was ridiculous. Hope delta hires more ground crew so that others arent inconvenienced in the future."

I made it to my final destination 24 hours later than original itinerary, almost all of which was spent in airport lines. My bag didn't arrive until 5 days later...on the wrong porch."
Výhody: "I flew through Vancouver from Boston on my way to Brisbane, Australia and back. I was nervous at first because of the 2 hour connection windows. This might be a testament to Vancouver Airport more than Air Canada, but the flight home after an initial 14 hour flight was pain free. Boarding was fast (the flight wasn't full) and we ended up pulling away from the terminal early. I slept most of the flight so I can't really comment on food. The entertainment was the same as when i left for Australia, which was ok. It had a decent variety to select from."

Nevýhody: "Flying Air Canada is horrible! They nickel & dime you to the point of tears. They charged me $15 per leg to make advanced seat assignments ($60 total) then changed my flights and put me in middle seats on two legs without asking me - I didn't find out until I was ready to board and they called my name to come to the gate desk! They also charge $33+ US to check one bag. If you go over the 50 lb weight limit they charge $100. By the time you add it all up, I could have flown on Delta through the US for less. Trying to get my seat selection fees reimbursed was very difficult; At the airport, they told me to go online and ask for a refund; Online, I couldn't find the way to get to the refund link; Called Customer service again, who gave me an 800# to call for a refund; the person on the 800 # told me I had to request it online but walked me through it to find the refund link; I filled in the online request and was told by automatic reply that Air Canada would investigate it and get back to me within 3-4 weeks. Ugh! No more Air Canada for me!"

Nevýhody: "Many of us were refused boarding on the connecting flight. They gave away our seats. I arrived at the transvfer counter50 minutes prior to the flight. I was first. Gave excuse that bag must go with me. Customs confirmed that this is AC not customs. To add insult, they flight to Montreal was late, the flight to Boston was late, and finally my bag NEVER was on either flight so there excuse was an out right lie. I missed half the weekend home in over a month. AC doesn't value my time and I don't value their service. Every time I go back to this airline I realized why I left. Going to Asia; don't get suckered into using this route. BTW a friend on PVG-YUL-BOS never made it as well. AC still using a CRJ200 that can't land in weather. NOT A BUSINESS CLASS EXPERIENCE."
Nevýhody: "There was a major winter storm on the way, and the flight should have been canceled like every other flight to Boston was. Long story short, we couldn't land in Boston due to the storm. So we flew not to Boston, but to Quebec City. They would not let us off the airplane. Eventually we flew back to Montreal where we started. More than 7 hours on a plane with no food, and they only offered us water. The flight should have been cancelled in the first place. That would have been a lot less stressful to deal with."

Výhody: "This was my first time in Canada never been there before I had a great time until that one moment I had to deal with workers from air Canada except one agent at the ticketing desk....I had checked in online the day before however I had some card issues because they got shut down by my bank and due to the holiday in America I was unable to call my Bank prior to the airport....got to the airport and tried to explain that all I wanted to do was pay for my bag with cash ...but no one took the time out to listen each time i tried explaining myself I was send to a different location to join another line ....by the time I got to someone who was willing to listen my flight was closed ..her name was Aurora and gave me nothing but attitude when I explained my story......anyways finally got to ticketing and a met the only agent that day who exercise some level of customer service that day...if only I could remember her name ...sigh she went the extra mile because at this point I was frustrated and unsure if I would make it out of the country a sane person due to the amount of chaos I experienced prior. She got LISTENED .....SHE TOOK THE TIME TO LISTEN...got me on a new flight and went above an beyond to assist me that morning I was on the verge of a breakdown at that point all other staff member was very disgusting not only to my self but the other individuals who had mishaps that morning."

We were ushered out as a group to a connection security check which required electronic kiosks to be used for scanning our passports photos and fingerprints... They fraught with malfunctions then after waiting in line for s while we did the whole check all over again with s human security agent in s booth... There were only 2 security agents in the booths as well but there really needed to be several more to keep the line moving quicker... After security we walk directly out to departures but no mention of baggage claim, which was fine had we not been misinformed by Swiss initially... We ended up inquiring several times with SirCsnsda staff until it was clear Swiss had misinformed us."

Nevýhody: "I was originally flying WestJet, and the 7:05 AM flight I booked was cancelled. I hopped online and booked the 8:10 AM flight via Air Canada back to Boston. First, the flight was oversold, so only AFTER I was able to check my bag did I learn that I was flying stand-by. Completely nerve wracking. If I had known in advance I would have booked with another airline. I was able to get on the flight thanks to some volunteers who gave up their seats on the 8:10 AM flight for the next flight out (10:10 AM) in return for some monetary compensation. I arrived in Boston, and after waiting for 45 minutes, I learned my bag was put on the 10:10 AM flight rather than the 10:10 AM flight, but only after dealing with a snappy and disrespectful check-in attendant that seemed to not believe me that my bags indeed did not arrive. The office for baggage services for Air Canada was vacant and locked next to the carousel. Myself and a couple of other travelers, upon getting to the check-in counter and explaining the situation mistakenly lumped us all together and said "okay so you're all traveling together and your bags need to go the same place". Me: "No, that's incorrect, we are not related or traveling together, we just all have the same issue--none of our bags have arrived". Other Air Canada representative, who up to this point had not been involved in the exchange: "She didn't ask you if you were related, she asked you if your bags were lost" and then proceeded to roll her eyes and walk away from the counter. I suppose she misinterpreted my concern for rudeness and felt the need to put me in my place. Granted, my early morning flight cancellation and the stress associated with flying standby had nothing to do with them, but the attitude I was given as a concerned traveler whose bag was potentially lost was completely unwarranted. Compounded with the frustration of the entire morning I cannot describe how infuriating this exchange added up to being. I was told my bag would be delivered to my home by 4 PM that day. No bag. Got a phone call at 7 PM - they'd be there in the next hour. 10:00 PM and going to bed: No bag. I gave up and prepared to make a claim in the morning. 8:30 AM Sunday morning - my bag is sitting on my front porch wrapped in a trash bag. What a fiasco."
Nevýhody: "Flight was delayed. They lost my baggage. TV in my seat didn't work and they didn't do anything about it."
Výhody: "Spacious flight Cozy environment Comfortable sitting"
Výhody: "-Staff offered free things like headphones and 15 minutes of wifi access to compensate for multiple delays -Cheap! -I was rescheduled to this flight after my previous flight was delayed and prevented me from taking my original flight back, but I was moved up to boarding zone 3 in return"
Nevýhody: "-Significant delay prevented me from checking in to my room, which was highly inconvenient. Fortunately I had a friend who was willing to have me, but if not (and because the nearby hotels are filled up due to the beginning of freshman orientation at my college), I would have had nowhere to stay after 13+ hours of flying and exhaustion. This alone significantly hurt the experience."
Nevýhody: "Our inbound flight was two hours late. When connecting through Toronto, they lied to us. They said that the outbound connection was on time, that we'd likely missed it. Then, after standing through their requisite customer service line with only one open desk for two full flights, we were told to sprint through customs. We arrived, breathless to find the connection was delayed. We were told that they don't post the delayed connections for fear that passengers won't run or that U.S. customs will close. Uncommunicative and untruthful, their service is atrocious."
Výhody: "They were quick to bring meals and snacks. Friendly and accommodating flight crew."
Nevýhody: "For a 9 hour flight, I would have preferred a heads up that there is no in-flight entertainment and you need to have a charged device of your own with the Air Canada app pre-installed. And if you didn't get that memo and you have an Apple device, you're out of luck. Otherwise you can rent an iPad for $10. The chairs were thin and flimsy making it difficult to sleep. And unfortunately we got a "window seat" that did not have a window. It was very disappointing."
Výhody: "Flight crew was friendly. They were dealing with a lot of crabby people due to a 4 hour weather delay. They handled it, some better than others."
Nevýhody: "I checked my bag. It got soaked. I am talking drenched like dumped in a lake and left there for the 4 hours we were delayed in Toronto. When we contacted air canada the luggage complaint rep told us to complete an online claim. We haven't heard a peep out of Air Canada in a week. Unacceptable Air Canada. You must would at least acknowledge that something was done wrong by a baggage crew even if they aren't on your payroll and on an airports."
Nevýhody: "Absolute joke of an airline with zero customer service. I would never travel with them again and would recommend anyone else not too."
Výhody: "I liked waiting to fly until weather was good."
Nevýhody: "I disliked the long delay, no time for the drink cart."
Výhody: "Crew was efficient, and the plane was on time."
Nevýhody: "The seating and luggage storage was a bit cramped."
Výhody: "We arrived to our destination safely"
Nevýhody: "Overbooked flight Switched gates at the last minute before boarding--very confusing. Filthy bathrooms on plane Typical bad airline food; couldn't even break apart dinner roll it was so rubbery. No individual movie screens, had to use your own mobile device and earphones or pay $10 to use an ipad provided by the plane to access in-flight network. Overall very disappointing service. Expected much more from Air Canada."
Nevýhody: "After waiting 30 minutes after our boarding time, I got an email on my phone saying the gate had changed. No one at the current gate knew anything about it and I went to ask but no one could be found. I asked a man sitting behind the gate, who happened to be the pilot, and he also knew nothing about it. Needless to say, the gate changed and absolutely nobody was told about it. 2 hours later, our flight finally took off, and I was thanked by the pilot for getting us to the right gate... At least he provided a little humor to the situation! Plane also wasn't cleaned, pretzels and trash all over the floor."
Výhody: "This was the smoothest flight I've ever had. Great pilot."
Nevýhody: "It was a bit delayed."
Výhody: "It was a short flight but smooth and on time."
Nevýhody: "Crew stopped severing prematurely. He said we were about to land and failed to serve my row and the one behind me. In the end we still had 30 minutes before we started the initial descent. When the person behind me spoke to him about it the steward was rude to him."
Výhody: "It was a pleasant experience , the whole travel"
Výhody: "Great flight, entertainment system, flight staff made me feel at home"
Výhody: "I enjoy flying and being in the air at high altitude in any air line. Away from everyone else and with a new family who are flying with me."
Nevýhody: "The charge per bag is ridiculous. It should be included as part of fare paid. Understood another bag charge as a separate fee."
