I don't like that they can't tell you the gate of your connecting flight and how long it will take to get you there - including if you will need to take a bus and the train. I think this could reduce a lot of anxiety. If they could do this, it would also be helpful to let people who have a connecting flight that is boarding in the next 30 mins off the plane first. This would save pushing and shoving in the aisles... and would also reduce anxiety about booking a flight with such a short layover."

Nevýhody: "What a terrible flight. There was absolutely no leg room. I'm 180cm but I imagine Qatar airlines have taller passengers. I understand they are trying to squeeze as much money out of their flights as possible but it was to the point of such severe discomfort that my right knee still hurts half a week later. The reason that it hurts so much is that there was a post through the right half of the leg room under my seat, which was already super limited to begin with. DO NOT GET A WINDOW SEAT, WHATEVER YOU DO. It was a 7 hour flight and I was SO MUCH PAIN. Horrific. The flight staff was rude. I will never fly Qatar again under ANY circumstances. I would rather travel months by boat, or even walk for years on end then go through that 7 hour experience. Qatar's cheapness lost them a customer!"

I explained we were on our way to our wedding and it would be nice to have some rest. They were rude with the way they told us no, they even suggested we sleep on the floor of the airport. We ended up paying for the lounge, but then so did about 1000 other people, there was no room for us to sit together. My wife's allergy free meal wasn't provided on the first flight. We had to speak to about 5 people to get a meal ticket at the airport and they were very reluctant to give us one. I told them she was hungry and needed to eat. They told us we could take the meal we got with the ticket on board, when we went to use the ticket we had no choice in meal, were given a coke at 6am and weren't allowed to heat up our meal or take it on board. In summary, all the cabin crew on all 4 flights were excellent. Staff at Doha airport were incredibly poor."
Výhody: "The flight service was great. We had a slight delay on the way back to Doha from Heathrow but they made up for it by getting us through security faster so I didn't miss my flight to Tokyo. Overall the timing was excellent and I got home without having to fork out any extra money."

Nevýhody: "My seat was broken so I sat up right for 16 hours. To top it off I needed to use the toilet REALLY bad but was denied even though we were SITTING on the runway for 20 mins. When I FINALLY get to use the toilet, after a smaller Asian girl and a taller Indian girl were getting bags of blankets out of, I leave a WOODEN CLIPBOARD full of VERY important papers that will cost me inside. Yet when I call to retrieve them they are "nowhere to be found" so you're telling me out of those 2 women, the Indian gentleman, the black woman & the other Asian woman back there didn't notice a clipboard when I was the only person back there trying to use the toilet or they simply threw a wooden and metal clipboard away ?? With what was clearly paperwork clipped onto it ? The girl at the service desk of Qatar airways claims to have looked herself. But she was rushing me off of the phone so I don't feel like she remotely cared even a little. I am PAST unhappy. So thank you for throwing my paperwork away I know for sure was left behind. Very thorough team."

The only currency exchange is on the other side of passport control so you have to use one of the ATMs and they only give you $100. The staff is unprofessional and seems clueless when you ask them for help. The kiosks are a nightmare and working with them is worse than working with the people. They freeze, and glitch and many of them just flat out don't work. Probably one of the worst airports I've ever been to."

Výhody: "So I never actually flew with Turkish this trip, but I can write about my rerouting experiences. Inbound my first connection to Istanbul was cancelled due to technical problems. Fortunately I was second in the ticket office line and was promptly rebooked with Lufthansa. My return flight was cancelled because of the coup, and again I was rebooked with Lufthansa."
Nevýhody: "Overall Turkish Airlines did well in a difficult situation. But a few concerns. On my inbound flight, the agent servicing us was amazing and I was fortunate to be second in line, but the airline was ill prepared for the situation and the agent was being hung out to dry by his colleagues who kept calling him and wouldn't let him do his job. On the return flight, I was frustrated the agents at first pushed me to take a refund rather than letting me rebook with a partner. I ended up having to leave a day later than expected, and didn't get an itinerary till the morning after my original flight. This was all very stressful. Lastly, you have to think twice about flying through Turkey. Although this coup is over, the next crisis will be over whether President Erdogan creeping authoritarianism."
Výhody: "The seats were a normal size for an international flight. Everyone got a blanket, pillow, earphones and eye mask in their seat, all of which were necessary for the 11-hour flight. There were a lot of great movies to choose from, as well!"
Nevýhody: "The bathroom garbage cans got full very early on in the flight, making it uncomfortable to use them. The stewardesses were friendly, but it was difficult to understand their English and the pilot's English (and I teach ESL). They, in turn, had a difficult time understanding me when I spoke to them in very slow, clear English."

Nevýhody: "Poor crew service--amazingly slow (my general THY service experience has been great, but in this leg crew did not respond to calls for almost 20-30 minutes). After meals, most people took their own empty trays to return them behind (because the crew had not picked up after 30+ minutes). The meals arrived cold as well. My entertainment set froze after 4 hours in a 13 hours trip, and was not attended to after repeated calls. One conscientious Turkish stewardess was very helpful in the 9th hour (literally), even if the entertainment did not come back on. To top these, I was sandwiched between a teenager on front and teenagers on right, who were loud and generally weird (obviously not the airlines fault). So, it ended up being a mediocre experience overall."

Nevýhody: "I was thrown into despair by the refusal of TA officials to help me in any way. I paid the full price of the flight but the officials of the airline were very unresponsive and unhelpful. I was delayed to the airport due to traffic and they refused to help me in any way. I have flown with this airline in the past and the airline was always kind and accommodating, but not so this time! I lost $1.1K for the initial fare and then had to purchase a separate $2.3K ticket to reach my destination. Absolutely NO other airline has been so dismissive to me. I fly United all the time, and they are worst by US standards, and yet (I never thought I would say this) United has always helped MUCH better than this airline! I called customer service and could barely understand their English, not to mention that they didn't care at all to help me. I lost $3.3K because of this airline. It was the worst travel nightmare of my life, and I have been to 50+ countries!"

The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

Nevýhody: "Prague to London flight First I was surprised and disappointed to find out there were so many extra fees. They get you to buy the ticket with a cheaper price and then hit you with all the extra fees e.g. choosing a seat, luggage, food, drinks, you will pay for everything except the flight. The second thing is that when I did go to the BA website on 5 different occasions to pay for my luggage and in order to get a cheaper rate for doing it online before check-in, it gave me a message that the site to do it was not working and that I needed to pay for it at the airport check-in. When I went to check-in at the airport the ticket agent seemed annoyed that I had luggage to check in when I hadn't registered it online. When I told her that the site was down and I wasn't able to do it before hand, she showed no sympathy or understanding. Instead she proceeded to charge me for checking my luggage. It was an outrageous amount of over $80 USD. I have never in all my travels around the world been charged for my luggage. I only travel with one carry on and one medium size check luggage because of my extensive travel. I know charging for luggage may be something more airlines will start doing but I did not think that BA would be one of them. I also would have appreciated some compensation for theirsite being down and not being able to get a discount on the fee because I couldn’t check it online. I am extremely disappointed with my BA experience and will never fly with them again. That is unfortunate for them since I am in the process of traveling around the world for the next few years while writing a travel blog and book. I will definitely publish my review and experience in detail, which I am sure will influence my readers and followers."
Nevýhody: "flight delayed over 1.25 hours because we missed our runway time due to being "unable to get a head count" of the people that are on board. This should be embarrassing for BA. And i don't understand how after all the security, boarding pass and passport checks that you do not have an accurate head count of your passangers. Thus I missed my connecting flight and had to wait over 4 hours for another and got a measly 10 Euros as compensation. Also, they don't even give water for free, and a 200ml juice costs 1.5 Euros which a) its bad juice and b) overpriced. All food you now pay extra for, and they didnt even make it in time to the last few rows so even if Id want to purchase something, I couldn't."
