Výhody: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."
Nevýhody: "This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu."

This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."

Even then it took them two days to bring it to us, two precious days off our planned vacation (7 days) At the end of the shortened vacation, we got to the chek in, and told that since the ticket I had purchased form them two months earlier was too cheap ... and since the flight was Over booked, they would take me off the plane if all the passengers would arrive. It's unnecessary to describe what I felt until the plane took off. They apologize constantly, but do nothing practical. a bae company. no me nor my freinds/family will go with KLM"

As a result we had to wait until all the passengers got off the plane to get back our luggage and we were the last two passengers to get off. Unpleasant!"

I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

(They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."

In Paris, but ONLY after I located my receipt on my phone, they moved us to the seats we had paid for."

When I arrived later than planned but still within good time, which was my fault, I reported to the Czech Airlines check-in (D2). This is very, very far from the Air France check-in (A2). No person and no sign was at Czech Airlines gate saying to go to Air France instead. By the time I determined what to do by talking ro the airport information booth and I walked to Air France instead of Czech Airlines (at CDG airport this is 5 minutes walking very fast speed on conveyor belts.. perhaps more than half a kilometer), I was past the boarding time limit, but the flight had not yet left. Then I could not print the boaring pass because of the time. When I asked an Air France employee for help, he simply said "you cannot board" and stood there smugly. He must feel great being a 25 year old who can turn people away from international flights at his own discretion to completely ruin their day especially when the plane is still on the ground. I have not even explained yet about the similarly awful experience I had when I booked the next flight (Czech Airlines at 09:45) for a much higher price (118 euro) and was not told that this Czech Airlines flight is "really" a Czech Airline flight. After paying much more to a Czech Airline person, nobody informed me to stay at the Czech Airlines area (2D) so I naturally went back to Air France since I had already had so much trouble. When I arrived there, of course, they tell me to go back to Czech Airlines and now I was again late. Thank God that I was able to confront a random trolley man who Kew where the Czech Airlines people were and try tried very hard to get me to the plane even though the boarding time was over. All in all, this was the worst travel experience of my life. I have now wasted 40 more minutes of my approximately 2.5 days in Prague to tell you this. I hope you consider it."

The entertainment system didn't work (on the whole plane, for the duration of the whole flight) - no movies and no shows. The wifi could have been offered for free to enable people to entertain themselves through computers and tablets, but was not done so. Instead we were reminded that it is available (for a price of course)."

I purchased my ticket in October 2015 (before the Zika outbreak and before being pregnant) and I will still be pregnant in October 2016 so that voucher is completely useless to me. I basically lost $900. Even though I repeatedly tried to explain my situation to customer service and had a letter from my doctor it didn't matter they just repeated their voucher line over and over. Needless to say I will NEVER purchase airline tickets from Aeromexico again and that is a real shame for them because I have a timeshare in Mexico which I plan on enjoying with my growing family for years to come."

To our surprise the connecting flight already left when we arrived to Madrid. It’s clear that this was a case of “not our problem” from the JFK Iberia ticket agent. Rather than helping us find a viable alternative for our flight (namely a flight that doesn’t arrive more than a full day later) before leaving for Madrid they shipped us to Madrid where there were poor/no options for getting to Split at the original planned time. I’m very upset that I’m going arrive more than a day late to my destination and that I was blatantly lied to by the Iberia agent at JFK, never ever going to book a flight with Iberia again."

Výhody: "I booked a trans-Atlantic flight through Kayak. Flight out of US was direct from Tampa to Gatwick. Return flight was Direct from Madrid to Miami and 4 hour layover in Miami to Tampa. The booking was advertised as a British Airlines flight, although operated by Iberia and American on the return. I found the comfort of the accommodations, food, and service in business class to be on par with, or better than, competitors'. We especially liked the entertainment/communication system built into every cubicle - good sound, lots of good movies and shows, and great screen quality. The multicourse meals had good options and were fresh tasting."
Nevýhody: "The Madrid leg of the journey, operated by Iberian Air on route 6231, destroyed the goodwill earned by British Airlines. Iberian Air delayed our departure from Madrid for technical difficulties, which I understand is the risk in air travel. When Iberian Air finally cancelled flight 6231 it became obvious we would miss our connection flight home in US. I began contacting the airlines for rescheduling/reimbursement requests. British Air sent me to a customer service line which rang busy for 4 hours straight. Iberian said they were sorry for the inconvenience but they could get us a free snack at the snack bar and book us on the next connecting flight in Miami (which was 45 minutes after the flight we had missed. It didn't matter that customs procedures in US would likely overlap that leg as well. American Airlines (the operating partner in the US) advised that either Iberian or British Air would have to reimburse for a new flight. I ended up just renting a car in Miami and driving the 300 miles back to Tampa, after 24 hours of air travel and missing both the connections. The upside is that Kayak was prompt in sending electronic updates from the airlines notifying of the delayed flight time/need for new seats/flight cancellation. Iberian Airlines never even changed its online flight status for the original flight which it cancelled."

My kids asked a few times why those people were upset (regarding both flight crew as well as ground crew). Online services to request seat assignments does not work. We tried to get seat assignments over the phone, and it seems Iberia only picks up the phone if you going to purchase a ticket, otherwise forget about getting help over the phone, and/or online (email as well as website). After trying to obtain child menus over the website and phone, I drove to the airport Iberia desk to order it there two days before the flight. The desk manager was helpful and requested for us to send an email with the request, so he could set it up once the flight opened up two days before the flight. I sent out the email to find out on the flight once food service started that the request was never placed."

I had to wait 5 hours in Lisbon when I shouldn’t have ever went to Lisbon. I bought a ticket from Newark to Zürich through Porto 10 hours in total. I think TAP overbooked everyone and seated us on purpose. The secondflight was delayed due to “bad weather” and it was perfectly nice outside. Shame on TAP. I’m sure other people are complaining."
Výhody: "I really appreciated the fact that the gate agents enforced the boarding process meticulously. Often times, even when boarding a certain zone, passengers ignore it and board anyway. The staff made sure that people only boarded when their zone was called. The flight and the aircraft was comfortable. The food was better than what I've had on other airlines, if not at least equal."

Madrid was also delayed and we missed our connection to Venice. We got a new flight from Madrid to Venice and had to wait 5 hours for it. A trip from New Jersey to Venice ended up taking OVER 24 HOURS!!!! Due to the disgraceful disorganization and service of TAP PORTUGA we missed our best friends rehersal dinner a memory we would have loved to have. Extremely disorganized, terrible customer service OH AND WE HAD TO PAY FOR OUR BAGS TWICE to get reimbursed later but I don’t believe anything Tap Portugal says so we’ll see. Staff advice did not align and they were unapologetic for the experience we received."

Nevýhody: "The sizing device is much smaller than it needs to be for carry on roller bags. My bag was forced to be checked by the ground crew on this Tap flight. My bag is a normal sized carry on bag that has always fit on all flights. There was plenty of space on the aircraft for it. The ground crew also let others on with larger bags so they dont even apply their policy in a consistent manner. I will do my best to avoid TAP from now on."

During my return flight, despite being checked in adn being at the airport wel ahead of time, the airport clerks gyided me to the wrong desk and I had to wait longer than needed. The check in for baggages had closed by 1 min. They were allowing me to take the flight only if I threw out all my liquids or else were off loading me. They proposed no other solution and wanted to make me pay 450 dollara to put me on the flight the next day. I had an interview the following day and needed to return. I ended buying a new full fare ticket with British airways and got excellent service. I am yet to complain to TAP."
Nevýhody: "Once we entered the boarding area we weren't allowed back out to get a sandwich, souvenir, etc. This was absolutely unacceptable. I felt like a prisoner in that area. I can't believe they thought this was OK."
