During booking, they ask for passport expiry date, what's the point if you're not going to tell us in advance and wait till our travel date to tell us this information. We couldn't travel on our vacation as planned and we were charged an additional $3,000 to change our tickets."

The only currency exchange is on the other side of passport control so you have to use one of the ATMs and they only give you $100. The staff is unprofessional and seems clueless when you ask them for help. The kiosks are a nightmare and working with them is worse than working with the people. They freeze, and glitch and many of them just flat out don't work. Probably one of the worst airports I've ever been to."

Better service would include 3 passes through the cabin at regular intervals offering full bottles of water and not just a cup."

Boarding is general, without any division by rows or groups, which means people in row 6 and in row 20 board at the same time, creating a long line. This slows down the boarding process and causes frustration in less patient people."

But taking off wouldn't have been a viable option. :) Actually, it wasn't that long for the thunderstorms, but something very heavy fell on the top of the plane while we were waiting. Maybe a bowling ball? I was torn between wanting to get off the ground, and being terrified that they would take off without checking out whatever the heck that sound was. Apparently, they did check it out. We pulled over to a maintenance spot and sat there for a while before we took off. If there was anything I didn't like about the flight, it was that there was no announcement about what had happened and what they were doing about it. But I'm nosey."

Výhody: "I regularly fly between East Asia and Europe, and have taken Aeroflot almost every time for a year now. Their business class equals that of any other major European carrier. Their food and service is right on par with other European carriers. The planes are new and clean. Staff is efficient, and generally friendly. Aeroflot has a certain negative reputation but I have had very good experiences only."
Nevýhody: "The connection is Moscow is a great break up of the long haul flight but I wish you didn't have to pass through the grumpy security people. I once had to change my flight time but I found it was very hard to reach Aeroflot by telephone. Probably best to reserve through an agency who make the changes for you."

Nevýhody: "I had to sit separately from my husband on a 12-hour flight and on the previous flight from St.P to Moscow. I never had this kind of problem with any other company but Aeroflot! We never paid for seats either but we never had to. We just wanted to sit together and we bought our tickets almost a year in advance. Also food was disgusting. The worst food I had on the plane."

Сначала все было более-менее,но при возвращении домой в Израиль, в Шереметьево ,после прохождения паспортного контроля и личного досмотра,когда я стояла в очереди на посадку с ручьной кладью ,меня вдруг отозвали в сторону и устроили еще один досмотр. На глазах у всех пассажиров. Мне не объяснили причины и не извинились. Я не буду больше летать аэрофлотом и никому не рекомендую."
