The main courses were mediocre and the "sandwich" offered between meals on the 13+ hour flight was cold, soggy and inedible. The seats on our A350 were hard and not very comfortable, and the recline function was difficult to operate. Security at the Doha airport was confusing. We had to go through 3 separate checkpoints for our transfer, each with different rules and procedures. The final check at our departure gate was the worst, with impatient officials giving hurried instructions in heavily-accented English, and scolding if passengers didn't understand. I was sent back through a second time to remove my camera from the bag (and to be scolded by the agent), and was patted down a second time coming back through the x-ray, which had green-lighted me both times. It made me wonder if this was a reaction to the extra scrutiny that Arab passengers receive from our airport security in the USA."

Výhody: "Philadelphia-Doha was excellent and noticeably better than Doha-Bangkok. ood, service, condition of aircraft were all better in the PHL-Doha leg. I have done the trip a few times now so it is not a fluke. Odd that the Doha food (and I usually get the local dishes) is very so-so. I usually only take a bite or two. Not appetizing. The Doha-BKK staff was less professional as well. The trays of the main meal were left with the passengers so long, we passengers started to bring our own trays to the galley. The plane out of Doha was very tight so passengers in economy have that sardine experience. The cup holders did not work although they would have been useful."

Called qatar airways and send them a xomplaint email. No one cared to answer. The worst flight ever. Will never go with qatar airways anymore"

Was promised my luggage by 4:30 pm . Didn't receive it until 2:30 am next day. Missed my whole first day of vacation as I had no clothes , toiletries, etc . Very angry, and feel I should get a substantial discount on my next flight in March to Dubai. Totally unacceptable !!!!!!!"

I know Qatar Airways is not responsible for this and I don't blame them but be prepared to wait in Doha, which is a beautiful airport by the way"

Ditto for all passengers in Row 31 D-F. 2)Antiquated personalized screen for entertainment.When compared to Etihad and Emirates, this is way below par. 3)I was told mango juice was not available only for them to serve it later with regular meals. 4) I had left my coat with staff at the front to be picked up on my way out. While other airlines wait with the coat on your way out, Qatar made me wait to hand over my coat. I was one of the last passengers to deplane."
Nevýhody: "The flight was delayed due to technical issues. The passenger was kept in the plane for 3 hours and no water supply was distributed to the passengers until the crew was approached. We were asked to change plane after 3 hours and we had to go through the transit scan once more with limited time to spare. Upon reaching the new gate, all passengers were tired from the waiting and rushing. Snack box was distributed but it wasn't sufficient for everyone. There are passengers who had to wait till food was served on board which is another 2hours later. In this changed aircraft, the annoucement system went haywire. We were waiting to depart the airport but it recited the crew is ready to decent. It went on a couple of times. The situation could have been handled in a much effective manner."

Although the menu said you could have a choice but some of the choices were exhausted by the time crew served it to the half of the travellers and the rest have to eat whatever was leftover. I think Emirates should stock a bit more of the food especially on a plane like Airbus 380. Its a huge aircraft and passengers sting at the vey end had to wait almost 45 min to 1 hr to get their food and that too was whatever leftover. They should make efforts to server all the passengers within a short amount to time rather than keep them waiting for so long. Most of the time more than half of the passengers had already eaten while those sitting in the back were still waiting for their food. Its not cabin crew's inefficiency but rather a policy problem that needs to be addressed."

Nevýhody: "Engine noise. Boarding in Dubai was a farce as called to gate even though aircraft was severely delayed inbound. Surly lounge staff didn’t help. Business Class gate desk ‘closed’ even though staffed as person was busy on the phone. Weird 2 - 3 - 2 layout means window and centre seats have to clamber over reclined neighbours. Seat width better than A380 and also less tomb like when reclined to nearly flat bed."

Nevýhody: "The online site didn't let us allocate seats even before 48 hours of schedule flight timings. Complimentary seats were allocated badly. Even when contacted with airline staff they didn't pass on the right information. We found on airport counter that exists seats opened before opening the airline counter at the airports whereas we are told that it would be allocated at the airport counter only. Misleaded at Dubai by airline staff that airport counter would open 3 hours before flight departure whereas we found and told at counter it was opened 48 hours before flight departure. Faced lots of inconvenience in allocation of complimentary seats. I speak with other co-passengers in the flight and found single complimentary aisle seats were allocared to passengers. They same opportunity was not extend to others having more than 1 seats in the flight."

Over the years their service has decreased but the 1 meal and sub-par snack I got for an 8.5hr flight was poor, likened to a budget airline. This is the second flight recently I've been on that the drinks come so long after the meal you don't even get to enjoy your cola with the meal. The first food cart should have colas if there won't be another cart to come along until 30+ minutes later. I also expected Emirates to provide an eye patch, an 8 hr+ flight in the night time hours in worthy of an eyepatch. Budget airlines do not provide this, but I expected Emirates to. Lastly, I don't think it's necessary to hand out a menu indicating there is something to look forward to when the food is of quite poor standards for Emirates, standard for all other airlines. Maybe the Durban to Dubai route stocks he flights with less experienced crew, this is the impression I got; a much less refined group of people on the plane."

The worst part was, while she did her checking from O'Hara airport, the "EMIRATES EMOLOYEE" allowed her to check in her carry on "WITHOUT OUR REQUEST". But at the Dubai airport she was asked to pay $150 for the carry on. Since she did not have the cash, she couldn't pay and they "CANCELLED" that bag. And at the Mumbai airport she only received one bag and was told her other bag will be delivered to our house but the third bag is "CANCELLED". I don't know from whom should"

If you want to do it for security reason do it ( I want to be safe) but don’t do it for the check mark , it doesn’t make any sense and doesn’t protect us."

The food was excellent and I was pleasantly surprised that I could have wine with dinner or any time the attendants offered beveragess. The attendants were always professional and helpful. They all were fluent in English as well as several other languages. They held some people but not others. Middle seats have metal polls, making legroom awkward."

To go to Australia, Denver TSA waived the removal of shoes, skipped the scan for the metal detector and no one touched me, ditto for LAX on the trip to Sydney. Where's the uniformity or standards for TSA?? Why did I have to be subjected to this garbage on the way home?? This is why I despise flying. It makes no sense to me. This ruined what was a great vacation."

Finally, we were not told in advance that we had to go through security twice and through US Customs BEFORE leaving Dublin. So, the 6-hour layover at JFK was a complete waste of our time as we did not have to go through Customs there."

Once you finally get your sticker from them it’s a quick trip through customs. Then the pain really begins with a security scan st each individual gate to enter a boarding area for the plane. Then I was pulled for extra security where a male agent touched my but with some sort of swab with no warning. He then claimed to not speak English (with zero accent when I asked him a question). It was a humiliating and very long process all run by delta!"

My daughter could not get comfortable for the love of life and I just felt horrible and frustrated and what sucked most was the 9 year old and her obese father siting in our row that kept giving us weird looks."
Nevýhody: "There’s NO room in planes between seats. It’s 2018 and new planes must be done ASAP to accommodate people better. I’m 5’1” and 110 lbs but adding my 25lb daughter siting in my lap before she turns 2 is absurd to expect that it will be comfortable whatsoever for us or the people breathing next to us. Please DELTA, lead by example and make sure your planes are designed with more room in between and around the seats. In my opinion, every seat should be first class."

I understand that things happen but now Im out of a possible job that I was interviewing for and I am also out the $250 that I spent on the flight. The flight was delayed because they didn't have a crew to fly the plane which blindside is always 20/20 however it seems like pretty poor planning."
