Airplane food is always bad...who cares. But being trapped in uncomfortable seats with no room to shift your position for a six plus hour flight is inhumane! My son is 6'2" and his knees were literally against the back of the chair in front of him, luckily my daughter was in that seat so she didn't recline it on his knees. My back was killing me in the first hour (I'm only 5'2") my 13 year old daughter complained that her back was killing her by the end of the flight. I've never flown Lufthansa before and will never again!"
Nevýhody: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."
Nevýhody: "1. The flight's gate is in an area of the terminal without amenities, and there is no indication one is entering a dead zone. 2. We boarded on time, and then sat for two hours (due to weather), which made an eight and a half hour flight feel like ten and a half hours."

The Rude desk clerk didn’t even check and just spit out no upgrades. Yet once on the plane there were several empty business class seats and they stayed empty the entire flight."

The entertainment system was so bad, the kid behind me was punching the screen!! It took me 5 minutes to wait for the screen to respond and it was not much larger than my phone. Again, miss Emirates-this will be my last flight on Lufthansa!!!"

We ended up with no carry on luggages with us boarded. Only to find quite a lot of bags that are much bigger than ours were allowed to be in the cabin."

When boarding, I like to see when passengers are called in groups relating to distant seats in the plane such that they do not step over each other during luggage placement. That is more comfortable than let the crowd enter randomly. 2. I notice people enter the cabin with 2, even 3 pieces of luggage. Even though each one has proper dimensions, they overload the overhead compartments and it is hard for everybody to place his/her belongings in a suitable way. 3. The rows in the airplane seems to have gotten closer ti each other. It is not the airlines fault, except perhaps when choosing whose airplanes to buy...but again, there are only two major contenders in that segment. For overseas flights, it is pretty uncomfy. 4. Lastly, unboarding the plane could also be performed (enforced by the crew) to be in a more civil fashion rather than haveing5 a stampedo - again calling separate grouos of rows in the name of fairness, or simply vacating it row by row from the front to back."

Many missed connections in Vienna as a result. Crew seemed tense and on edge."

The flight crew refused to intercept it and have it brought up to me at the aircraft. To make matters much, much worse, the flight crew eventually gave up and left, leaving me LOCKED inside the jetway for over 30 minutes after calling for a wheelchair. The replentishment crew refused to let me out of the locked jetway. Only after the wheelchair arrived was I let out of the locked jetway. I was taken to the Austrian Airlines service center where I lodged a formal complaint. Supervisor/Rene refused to upgrade my seat in any fashion to compensate for my distress. He did, however, arrange for me to given access to the VIP lounge and then taken to my VIE-SOF gate. Had I had a shorter layover, I would have missed my connecting flight."

Only airport where we had to take out all electronics, including converter plugs, headphones, etc, place in a flimsy clear plastic bag ( that broke ) to go through security. Line to check bags pretty slow for number of passengers. Glad we had plenty of time."

She knew I had 1.5 hrs between flights, and the risk of losing my flight was pretty high. He agent could only said “sorry” and she would not offer me a solution. The agent next to her could care less about my situation. I asked her who should I contact if lose my flight (i.e. Aeroflot, Czech Airlines, etc) she kept saying “I don’t know, I’m sorry). I asked for my carry-on, but she would not return it. I called Aeroflot customer service, but they were not helpful and a bit rude. To make things worst, the agent placed me in the very last seat in the airplane, so I had to wait a good 20min to de board- time that I didn’t have. I paid so much for his flight and this was not the service that I expected. The only reason I made it to my second flight (Prague-Bilbao) was because the flight was delayed."
