Check-in was TERRIBLE !!! The AF staff was mostly clueless and not helpful, and the procedures in place were outdated.

Got passed over during the first drink service. Second service was more agreeable. Passengers are allowed to prop their feet up on the backs of the seats in front of them and to play their devices without headphones so everyone has to listen to it?For 4 hours. Why does this go unchecked? Is the comfort of a single passenger more important than all the others? I normally have nothing but good things to say about Air France but they missed the mark today by a wide margin.

The cabin crew was friendly. But boarding takes forever and the flight gad long delays on both inbound and outbound flight

Beware if traveling with family."

Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !"

I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."
Nevýhody: "Entertainment screen did not work; in neighboring seat it could not be switched off when we wanted to sleep; sourly employees everywhere (re-booking counter an exception); food close not being edible and cold; I forgot my watch on when going through security in the Air France terminal; when I started to say "sorry" I was yelled at by the screener who said that she will do the talking; she sent me back through the scanner twice without my watch, then once more with the carry-on and made sure that I went to the end of a very long line to wait for another screening rather than having me just go through the scanner without my watch. Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

In Paris, but ONLY after I located my receipt on my phone, they moved us to the seats we had paid for."

The people working for aeromexico should be more prepared to attend the costumer, i think they would be help us instead of force us to pay as the last chance that we had. Sorry about my bad english, i hope this works for you."

I even asked if their make-up was issued by the company since they were all wearing the same shade of red lipstick - it was!!!"

Výhody: "The snack - such as it is - is certainly a step above what I get when I fly the same route on United. Also the entertainment system is much better, and free! Cabin staff are friendly and efficient. The seating is about the same as on every other airline. I was in steerage for the Mexico City - San Jose leg. A lady was seated in my window seat when I boarded, and seemed surprised when I insisted on reclaiming my seat (She had the middle seat). In contrast to Mexico City, the San Jose airport is a model of efficiency. Immigration is rapid, luggage comes out on the carousel in good time, and best of all there is a duty free shop right in the luggage claim area, so it is unnecessary to buy liquor ahead of time."
Nevýhody: "Mexico City is a terrible airport to have to pass through. Everyone has to go through Immigration (similar to US airports in that regard) even if just in transit. However, they have few officers there, and almost half of the available booths weren't even manned. The result was chaos, with the immigration hall filled with grouchy travellers, and other travellers stuck in aircraft waiting to disembark. Expect to be stuck in Immigration for a minimum of an hour after landing; maybe plan on 1 1/2 hours just to get through Immigration and Customs. And if you are making a connection, whatever you do don't go through the sliding doors on the other side of Customs - I made that mistake once! I speak Spanish, so the following comments are not coloured by language difficulties ... Security staff are unfriendly. While there is supposed to be free wifi in the departure lounge, I couldn't figure out how to use it. A gate agent told me there wasn't any free wifi, all the time standing beside a sign that said there was. I was also singled out for a spot check of my hand luggage right in the jetway. The unfriendly lady doing that search so disarranged my stuff that I couldn't find my Kindle when I got on the plane, so was without my planned reading material."

The aircraft is comfortable but the seat appear to be old. The food is actually better than I first thought it would be. I been to Japan and Hong Kong and the food on AeroMexico tastes better. The availability of videos are limited in comparison to Deltas and American International media library."
Nevýhody: "The aircraft needs to be cleaner. The USB charger on two of the seats were not functioning. The video monitor for my seat did not function even after the flight attendant supposedly reset the monitor."

Business class and first have been upgraded with new features."

Nevýhody: "AA used too small of a jet for the cross atlantic flight. Therefore, we had to stop in Bangor, ME to refuel before landing in JFK. We landed in JFK 1.5 hours late as a result. Those of us who had a connecting flight to ORD as the final destination had our luggage lost. When explaining the refuel in Bangor, the flight attendants were very condescending, rude, and one raised her voices in an aggressive way (while the passenger I witnessed did not). This particular flight attendant must have been personally upset by the delay the refuel caused, because she made sure she was the first to get off the plane. I fly internationally at least twice per year for the past several years, and I was horrified by the entire flight. I will now know better to pay a bit more for another carrier."

The only compensation the air flight attendant offered was a glass of wine,which I couldn't drink due to being on medication. I had purchased 3 meals and 2 snacks so she could have comped one of them. This is the second time I experienced this on Air Canada with little to no appropriate service recovery. I had my iPad~an offer of free wii fii would have also been an option"
Výhody: "Air Canada Cancelled the flight, which would have been ok, but their representatives left the airport instead of sticking around to help people reschedule. Their phone line was flooded with so many calls that you couldn't even stay on hold. And their email service takes at least 24hrs before you get a response. So effectively the entire airline was unavailable, even after canceling many people's vacations. I'll never fly AC again."

Nevýhody: "In order to have a vegan or any special meal they ask you to call 48hs before. I've done online but the site I used for booking didn't pass the options requested. Then at checking counter they can't add it not even the return flight. This option should be able to be added anytime! Then why they can't put the meat aside for the hot plate so at least we could eat the rest. Also when preparing vegan or vegetarian meals you can just give cookies and cakes or white pasta! Any meal should be balanced, as for vegen meals it also have to have some vegetal complete protein combination."
Nevýhody: "I've never been on a transatlantic flight that didn't offer a drink with dinner. Plus, not having a TV screen for passenger's entertainment is out dated. Time to upgrade these planes, or don't use them for long haul flights"

And if you didn't get that memo and you have an Apple device, you're out of luck. Otherwise you can rent an iPad for $10. The chairs were thin and flimsy making it difficult to sleep. And unfortunately we got a "window seat" that did not have a window. It was very disappointing."

Nevýhody: "Air Canada Oversold my flight, the process of reaching my destination was incredibly painful and uncertain. For example -at one point an Air Canada service representative provided me with a ticket for my original flight with a seat assignment however when I tried to board the aircraft the gate agent confiscated the ticket and then destroyed it advising that I was not supposed to get a seat. Air Canada gate agents and check in staff were visibly struggling with the computer booking/reservation system at multiple points throughout this process. For example - at one point my bag was checked on a flight that I was not on and the gate agent openly expressed disbelief and concern that it was happening outside their control... very concerning."

Nevýhody: "if i knew the name of the man i talked to at checkin i would make a complaint specifically about him. i lost my passport a few days before coming home and went to the united states consulate where they told me to bring a printed copy of my passport and the united states boarding patrol would let me back into the united states. the man at the checkin didn't want to let me through to even speak to the united states border patrol and told me the consulate was wrong. i almost missed my flight because of his stubborn arrogance. once past him i was able to explain what happened and show what identification I had and everyone was very nice to me."

Výhody: "Venice airport is in a chaotic state of reconstruction and seems to lack information services for connecting flights. As a result, I was directed to the Air Canada check in counter, which then made it necessary to re-enter the security line, followed by a massive passport line. Each line was backed up to the limits.
