If you want to do it for security reason do it ( I want to be safe) but don’t do it for the check mark , it doesn’t make any sense and doesn’t protect us."

Nevýhody: "I have just had the most unpleasant experience with Swiss Air and feel that anyone on FB should be very careful when dealing with this airline. I am a Gold Member of Star Alliance for more than 20 years and have flown dozens of times on Swiss and would expect courtesy and consideration in return for my loyalty to their airline. Their flight from Hong Kong to Zurich leaves at 00:15. I mistakenly booked this for Nov 9th instead of the intended late evening of the 9th which then turns out to be Nov 10th. When I discovered my error, I called Swiss at least six times to explain my error and ask if my son could stand by for the same flight on the 10th or even apply the amount to rebook the same flight the next day. ZERO flexibility or consideration. Missed flight, lose entire value. Start from scratch. Astonished that an airline that claims to be serving their customers would treat me this way. I travel through Europe at least 6-10 times a year from Asia. I will now route through Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, London, Vienna, Instanbul or even Moscow before ever going through Zurich again. I encourage anyone making travel plans to be very careful when considering flights with Swiss Airlines. Perhaps this treatment of a loyal customer explains why they went through bankruptcy already once."

Thankfully the plane was pulled back up into the air, just before touch down, circled for ten minutes, and retried the landing. This time perfectly smooth and successful."

My flight from Warsaw to JFK in business it this moment she tell me I can switch sit and ask me to go I was shocked but this was only the bigining when I got to Warsaw I ask in the gate counter where should I go to print my ticket after I try to explain him 10 times what I mean ( he didn't speak English at all ) he told me to go pass the passport check and in gate 21 they will print it to me I fly a lot so I ask him if he sure becuse I am petty sure I will need my ticket the guy at the desk repeat imhim self so I want and waited 25-30 min in the line so the police officer in the passport check will tell me I need to go print my ticket So after the officer from the passport desk call someone he direct me to go to hate 26 and there they will print my ticket I want them and again wait for 15 min to print my ticket ( it was only me this is the sad thing I don't know what tool 15 min to print a ticket ) and it amazing how unsocial and 0 in customer service the lot polish employees I meet And this is without talking about the delay in my coming flight for 2-3 hrs ( a delay it something that happen a lot yes but the way they handled it again 0 in costumer service )"

They charged me twice for the same exact tickets and then would not refund me the entire fare. The deducted $300 to process back the credit. Personnel, at both the airport and in flight, were curt, uncommodating and lacked customer service. On my return flight from Warsaw there was a large, disruptive group with a number of unruly children & airline staff did nothing to address the children running across seats, screaming and wreaking havoc for over 8 hours. Passengers could not sleep & the noise was unbearable."

This, in spite of the fact that I weighed this bag on a calibrated scale prior to entering the airport, and my luggage was 5 pounds BELOW the limit. This seemed a blatant attempt to gain additional money from me, because I know the bag was not overweight. The food selections were average at best. Leaving Warsaw traveling to Los Angeles, we left almost an hour past our original scheduled departure do to the need to obtain additional supplies. On my next trip to Europe, I will look for alternate flight providers."

Cancelled our outgoing flight hours before it was set to leave; notified us via email; barely got re-booked via different airlines and had to take 3 different flights to reach out destination; missed the 2nd flight because LOT put us on a flight that was departing 30 minutes before out 1st flight arrived. 2. When we got another 2nd flight, we arrived at our final destination without our bags. LOT assured us that our bags were on our flight before we boarded but calling and confirming that they were able to transfer our bags (only had 40 minutes between flights), but of course, it was a complete lie. We did not get our bag until the next day in the evening over 24 hours later. At that point I was happy they found them and gave them to us. 3. Turns out, they cancel flights pretty often and they also book people on transfer flights that are too close for people to make it. We traveled with a handful of other passengers that had the same experience and people were in tears about their horrible travel experience. 4. Warsaw Airport - they only have 5 passport control officers clearing travelers and because they don;t have lines or any type of organization of these travelers, the lines our out of control. People are pushing each other, crying because they are missing flights or not feeling well because of no air and all the pushing and shoving. I was pregnant standing in the line for over 40 minutes. They would not let pregnant passengers or passengers with kids with them pass in their disabled line. Only people in the wheelchairs were allowed to pass there. Horrible airport and even more horrible airline! PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF AND DO NOT RUIN YOUR VACATION."

Nevýhody: "We had 2 people traveling. The first person thought the food was very poor. Her other flight overseas was with Lufthansa and so she expected food similar to their flight. It was not at all. The quality of foods was dramatically different and Lufthansa even offered complimentary wine & beer with the meal. The second person needed a gluten-free menu due to gluten sensitivity. However, her meals also came dairy-free, so she wasn't even given real butter. She was offered no salad dressings so her salad was eaten dry. The chicken was extremely dry. The 2nd meal (breakfast-like) was horrible dry bread with cucumber, lettuce and tomato -- no meat, no cheese, no protein at all! The regular meals were also given yogurt, where she just got cut up fruit. Protein is extremely important in each meal and LOT failed to provide this. When asking a steward whether she could at least get a yogurt like the regular passengers, they were unable to help her."

It was hard to tell what was true and what was avoiding penalties (it is possible that equipment issues caused them to lose their spot, and get caught in traffic delays). I hate that they charge 2.5 euros for water on the flight. Their carryon rules only allow us to take the smallest of bags (smaller than other airlines) but when I got on the plane, lots of people had medium sized carryons."

Group A was called and then very shortly after, while people in A were still lining up, group B was also called. In the end, boarding groups didn't matter at all because you all just crammed into a bus together and the last people on the bus were the first to get off and board the plane anyway."

Also the flight had no vegetarian hot meal options, which sucked for me. I was appalled that you had to pay for, even, water!!!!"

I got up to ask about it and they, again, looked annoyed, doubted that I had ordered it, looked it up on their computer, and gave it to me eventually without any apology whatsoever. The most unfriendly staff I have had on an airplane. I understand it's a budget airline, but there is no need for that poor level of service."

The rest of the party I was traveling with was on a different flight that left a bit sooner so I arrived with them at the airport only to be kept waiting as they were able to go through security upon arrival. Norwegian doesn't have a designated window or kiosk so I wasn't able to get any help on the matter."

Nevýhody: "We have taken 6 trans-atlantic flights with Norwegian, and *all* of them have been delayed by multiple hours. They clearly do not have the operational capabilities to run these long-haul flights. Our most recent flight, for which I am writing this review, was delayed by 5 hours, and on top of that, we had to wait to de-plane for 40 minutes since the small destination airport (OAK) could not handle our arrival simultaneously to another Norwegian flight; they coincided because of our astounding delay. There was no legitimate reason for the 4h45min departure delay--no mechanical issues, no weather problems, no airport issues; it was purely Norwegian failing to have their staff available, or them waiting for other delayed flights to arrive to allow those passengers to transfer. We heard absolutely zero explanation except from the pilot who said was due to Norwegian's "own operating issues". There was no staff at the boarding desk, and after the 5 hour delay, some non-Norwegian-affiliated airport employee just said "ok everyone board", because clearly they needed the gate and the Norwegian staff was dragging their feet. I have never seen anything like it: a whole crowd of disgruntled people heading to the podium with no organization. Fortunately, we were flying from Stockholm and the Swedes were all very reserved about the horrible service. In the cabin, it is no-frills as you would expect, but I continue to be disappointed by a lack of water! I can afford to order bottled water from the snack bar, and we did that, but really water should be delivered to all passengers spending 11 hours on an aircraft. The pre-ordered food was pretty bad and definitely not worth the money that they charge for it. If you compare this to a "real" airline's trans-atlantic flights, there is no comparison: Norwegian's cabin crew is a bunch of amateurs from third world countries; a major airline like Lufthansa actually cares about passenger comfort and makes 2-3 times as many rounds through the cabin to deliver things like water, food, wine, hot towels, etc. I think this will be our sixth and final Norwegian trans-atlantic flight. Within Europe, we have had much better experiences with Norwegian."

They apologized and said I was supposed to get one. They kindly allowed me to order snacks for free off of their menu. However, when the second meal came around, I was skipped again. I then had to alert the flight attendant again. I was surprised that they would forget my meal a second time."

And, they charge a $25 penalty if you don't pay to check a bag before you check-in. Check-in at their counter is required, and they weigh your CARRY ON BAGS, WHICH ARE LIMITED TO 10KG TOTAL. (I missed this requirement when purchasing the ticket and in the pre-flight emails.) So they made me check my small roller luggage, which required standing in another long line because ONLY ONE agent could collect fees. So by the time I was done paying, I had already decided that I would NEVER AGAIN fly Norwegian Air!"

Výhody: "Oakland Airport is easy because it's not as busy as other SF Auroprts. The Dreamliner is a nice plane."
Nevýhody: "On the 7 hour international flight from Oslo to NYC, there were no blankets or pillows, you had to pay for them! Again, this is really out of line. While I generally sleep well and am adaptable on international flights, I can't imagine how miserable the flight must have been for the average traveler. Whatever happened to hospitality? I was one of the few passengers offered meal on the Oslow to NYC flight, must because I had a connection from Athens, but it is pretty unreasonable to charge the basic amenities for international flight across the Atlantic. The entertainment options were mediocre. Lastly, the captain lacked a bit of finesse in his announcement, saying " please only use the bathroom in your ...class". How about use the word "section" or other phrases that come off a bit more polite. Further, the plane landed with a huge thud in JFK. I travel a lot and this was one of the worst landings."
Nevýhody: "Norwegian Airlines lost my luggage, but did deliver it to my hotel same day."

Nevýhody: "Bit confusing at jfk. And they sent out a text earlier in the day that the flight as cancelled when it turned out to be just a flight number change."
Výhody: "This was my first time traveling with Norweigan. Beautiful new Dreamliner, pleasant flight attendants, value for money free wine with dinner."
Nevýhody: "On a long haul flight such as this, pillows and blankets should have been offered."
Výhody: "The crew was professional. Everything from boarding to deplaning went extremely smoothly. I have never experienced an eight hour flight that felt so comfortable and smooth. The in-flight entertainment was great. I will definitely be flying Norwegian whenever I get the chance!"
Nevýhody: "There was a technical issue with getting the checked luggage off of the plane, so I had to wait over an hour an a half after clearing customs (a little over two hours after landing in Boston) to get my bag. After 24 hours of being awake and traveling and keeping my ride waiting for me in the cell phone lot for two hours, we both just wanted to get home and go to sleep!"
Výhody: "The plane was an 737-800 and had unusual large legroom for an economy ticket which meant for me that i could actually sit straight which is not common these days on flights."
Nevýhody: "Norwegian is of course a budget airline, but the practice of charging for everything, including a cup of coffee is annoying. I'd rather pay 2 euros more for the to ticket and not mess around with payment in the plane."
