However, I was told today, no personal item was allowed. Not even a purse. I was then asked to stay outside the gate and try to fit my backpack an its contents into my suitcase. This was not possible, and not only was I charged over $70 to check my carry on bag, the man at the gate so so rude, he didn't seen to even want to take my money. He ignored me while I tried to figure out what I could do. Very disappointing, and what a low way to rip of your customers."

But no, EasyJet will bend you over and charge you €50 to check something as simple as a backpack."

Easyjet needs to secretly monitor staff comments being made over the intercom. The Captain of the flight was obviously not aware of the inferior behaviour by their cabin crews or if he was, he should be fired.."

Basically, it was a "figure it out for yourself" sort of situation. We went to another counter, not even directly associated with Ryan, and a very nice gentleman there printed our passes for us. He also seemed really confused as to why the Ryan Air employee wouldn't print them for us. Then, we weren't given a gate assignment until 20 mintues before the time we were supposed to board. How do you expect your customers to be prepared if you can't even tell them where they are supposed to go until the last minute? Then they made us board a bus to take us to the plane on the tarmac which was not a big deal. But they made us stand on the bus for 20+ mintues before they took us over to the plan. The bus was completely full, so it's not like they were waiting to load more passengers. The doors to the bus were open, so it was freezing cold (our flight was late at night) and we were forced to breath in exhaust fumes from the bus the entire time! The flight was also an hour delayed!!! I know it's a super cheap ticket, but do yourself a favor and spend a little more money to fly on an airline that actually knows what they're doing. This is my first and most definitely LAST time flying on Ryan Air. If I could give zero stars, I would."

It was an absolute joke. On the flight the cabin crew were slow, again no information at all. Just stood there looking useless and chatting ignoring passenger call lights. We landed in Stansted and they couldn’t open the gate as the ground staff “couldn’t find the key” keeping us on the plane for an extra 10-15 minutes with no AC. Terrible experience would never book Ryanair ever again."

I broke my neck years ago and I need the pillow for neck support especially for takeoff and landings which are always the most painful part. ( Didn't help that the pilot had rough decent and a violent touchdow on landing). I just truly am baffled as to why I was not allowed to use a pillow? We are not talking about some large bed pillow we are talking about a small pillow that takes up no room and is specifically made for flying. I tried using my water bottle as neck support but it was no luck. Flying is already painful enough and to not be allowed to use a pillow which helps to support the neck is truly agregious. I really don't know what to say on why this wasn't allowed but I hope this issue is solved with upper management so the next person with such a problem will Never have to go through this. As for I, I will never use Ryanair again. Truly disappointing."

Nevýhody: "It was our first time flying Ryan Air and the experience left a sour note on our vacation. It was chaos from our first arrival at the airport. 1. Checking in online is not sufficient. You must bring a printed boarding pass or move to another line to pay to reprint. This was an additional 18€ per person for someone to handwrite a boarding pass. There is also an additional fee to check in at the airport. 2. When checking in online, baggage check fees are weight based. We were on vacation without a scale and opted to do this at the airport. Again, big mistake. Large fees >35€ per bag and again, move to the other window, with another long line, to pay the fee. 3. None of the above was clearly communicated. So, the line of people waiting to speak to an agent for any action (even bag drop and proceed to security) was long, diaorganized, and generally angry. The line to pay included very angry people, each of whom took longer due to their long list of complaints. In the end, we ended up paying 80€ more for two tickets than we would have with Olympic Air for an extremely negative experience. I will not be taking Ryan Air again."
