Emirates did not compensate me at all. They could have granted Emirates lounge access, meals, or simply book me a room at the airport hotel. I ended up sleeping for 14 hours on a chair due to their employee's fault"

No one gave us the toddler meal which I ordered previously. I thought emirates was a better airline than qatar airways but I was gravely mistaken. Even China southern can do better than that. Horrible."

When the food trolley came to my seat in the mid section of the plane, the hostess with almost a desperate look told me that only the vegetarian dish was available.I told her that I definetly need the fish or chicken dish.She scrounged around and ultimately gave me the fish choice whereas all the rest around me had to do with the vegetarian fare.Why this stupidity of a grandiose menu card?...The menu list states a list of liquor available in flight in the economy class.The hostess was serving the same only to those who specifically asked for it and that too as if she has to pay for the same.What a shame on the airline.You folks can do much better than this, in the so called cattle class.Sitting in a preassurised tube for more than 21 hours to reach ones destination is agony by itself, but then getting into your flight after seeing the goodies offered are only in paper, is a sad disappointment."

Nevýhody: "- LOST BAGGAGE: they lost my suitcase in the last leg (auh-maa) and I did not receive it for 4 days. I had no clothes, toiletries, etc as I only checked in 1 bag. No compensation offered. - I had to literally get into an argument with the ground staff at MAA airport to get any compensation for basic toiletries, change of clothes, etc. I only received compensation 15 days later for 2 days after several phone calls. I finally had to show up at their office, upon which I realized none of their staff communicated with each other. So, I had to explain everything from the begenning and was finally given some monetary compensation. - Their staff called me back every once in a while and promised things that they never delivered on. For example: they asked me to wait at my mom's house for 4 hours as I needed to sign some paperwork and they could not mail it or email it to me. After waiting 4 hours and cancelling other plans, no one shows up and no one answers the phone. - On my flight back, flying through AUH was a disaster. We had not been notified of the new pre-clearance procedures and with only 1 hour 30 minutes to get past 3 security checks and U.S pre clearance was near impossible. So, 10 passengers including myself just waited while our flight took off. - In AUH airport, their staff gave us completely different directions. We would be told to go to the rebooking desk by the ground staff, and once we get there the ticketing agent informs us we cannot be rebooked for 3 hours and that the prior person did not know what she was talking about. - So, they make us stay awake for 5 hours from 2 am to 7 am seated in their waiting area, until someone finally is able to rebook us to our destinations in the UNited States. They rebooked us on connecting flights which added 5-6 hours to the flying time. Simply awful management. - The staff complaining about their jobs, miscommunication and other work related problems was really unprofessional when they had pregnant women and children waiting around for 5 hours."

Has to log-in to the Ethiad's electronic account to prove that wheelchair was requested. Wheelchair was eventually provided but after lots of hassle. Pathetic service to say the least. Additionally, luggage did not arrive destination, airline did not have the courtesy to notify passenger of this. Passenger was waited long for the luggage, then Ethiad representative arrived to inform about the luggage. Filling paperwork for lost luggage was not pretty as well. Ethiad representative would not even offer any kind of assistance and had to request several times to provide some sort of monetary assistance to purchase essentials for one day. Luggage was promised to be delivered within the next 24 hours, actually arrived after the promised time. All in all, from a seasoned international travel avoid this airline for poor customer service."

MIght not be much of a problem except the kids were sleeping on our shoulders and there were no seats at the gates."

Numerous broken tv screens on the aircraft preventing passengers from watching tv. Losing our baggage for over 2 days. Creaking tv screens prevent passengers from sleeping. Leaking emergency exits that cover passengers in condensation."

Also no direct connection to terminal, planes park out on tarmac and take people on 1 km bus ride to connect to terminal. Legroom was pretty tight but not horrid Crew making announcements on landing were unprofessional, heard co-pilot or steward laughing in the background - while captain droned on in Arabic - this does not engender confidence in their ability to fly the plane!"

I'm busy putting netbook away so my tray table will be empty. FA 'forgets' to invite me to eat. This is an Arab airline???! In 49 years of air travel I have never seen such a thing. I sit there wondering what on earth is happening. Weeks later I'm still bewildered."

We arrived in Oman and many missed our flights by only minutes to find ourselves stuck from 8 am to 2 am the next day as only 2 flights a day are offered. They never thought to hold the flights to await our arrival. A hotel was supplied but it charged for internet(we were told by the airlines it was free) had very good meals but NO tea or coffee in the rooms or offered after breakfast without a charge. The airline said we could sleep until midnight and then a shuttle would return us for the 2 am and 2:45 am flights but the hotel insisted on us going at 10pm . driver wanted off was all we thought. Second flight was an older plane ,terrible meal and no individual movie or tv systems ."

After being tortured for an hour we finally got off the ground. Sorry, Oman Air, lots of room for improvement. I had a wonderful time in Oman and look forward to returning on Emirates."

My partner was on crutches and, though told she could get priority boarding, this was not followed up on by the crew and she had to deal with the normal jostling."

Return was coad shared on cheap FlyDubai, bad seats, kept hitting my knees on the seat in front had to buy drinks and snacks. If I wanted a cheap airline I would have booked it. I will make sure when booking an Emirates flight if it is code shared with Flydubai I will look for another flight."

The FlyDubai terminal in Dubai is also quite lacking- I felt like I was trapped in crappy restaurant. I'm not certain that I will ever use use this airline again- not impressed."

Had to wait on said bus, packed like sardines for another 10-15 minutes. - Agents in Amman arrived late to the check-in desk and fumbled around for at least 10 minutes finding paper/logging-into the system etc. - MANY Customers stood up WAY before the pilot signaled it was safe. This has to be a safety regulation/problem. Flight attendants did nothing. - The screens/entertainment system on the flight didn't work. Absolutely useless."

However, my flight from Dubai to Kuwait on Fly Dubai demonstrated just how disorganized and bungled an airline can truly be. The aircrew and staff did their best under incredibly stressful circumstances and were incredibly professional. However, I have never seen logistics messed up so badly. It would be one thing to cancel and reschedule a flight for later in the day but to leave people stranded for 4 hours on the Tarmac, to take them off the plane and go back through screening to wait again at the same gate with no answers or announcements is just horrible mismanagement. My flight left 8 hours after its scheduled departure but the only updates we got were "15 more minutes", "20 more minutes", etc. while we queued up for HOURS. In the future, I'll pay the extra money to never fly with them again."

Nevýhody: "Fly Dubai check in at Dubai Airport is run by non-employees. My wife and I waited 1.5 hours in line. The staff helps other customers who are late for their flight cut in front of the line, and therefore make everyone else late for their flight. We finally arrive to the front and are told our flight has been oversold, and that it is full. We asked to be put on another flight and they said the next ones leave tomorrow. We were told we had to go wait in another line to arrange a flight or refund. We waited in that line for almost 1 hour, and the employee gave us an email address written on a post it note, and said if we wanted a refund to email them. Just an awful airline. Some other passengers wanted the flight the next day and Fly Dubai offered them a hotel for the night but said the hotel is full. The airline has an awful check in system, awful customer service, and has yet to offer us a refund, or even reply to the email we sent them six days ago. Regardless of their ticket price I will never fly with this airline ever again."
