Flight itself was (eventually) fine but not encouraged to fly easyjet again from Budapest if it can be avoided."

I looked ahead on their site and paid a little extra for XL seats, with those you get speedy boarding and can bring a purse or backpack on top of your one rolly-bag carry on - they make it VERY clear on their site that you are only allowed 1 carry on within very specific size measurements. The XL seats were worth it for the leg room and extra small bag."

While there were other options available, easyJet slightly undercut the competition to sell a ticket for a seat which they never indicated was standby. Since my trip was only for the day, taking the next flight half a day later wasn't a great option. I attempted to check in but was presented with an unhelpful error and then told me the situation at the airport checkin. Inside Luton terminal, there is no easyJet representative to speak with past the security checkpoint until you arrive at the front of the line for your flight boarding. The suspense and lack of service was unnerving. Some passengers might appreciate a small compensation for the inconvenience of taking the next flight. If you absolutely need to be somewhere, don't buy a last minute ticket on easyJet. They don't tell you if you're buying a real ticket or just a standby spot."

In America, they are smart a realize that this bag (usually a backpack or a purse) can easily fit under the seat in front of you and does not need to be put in the hold. Even if it would need to, the airline would "gate check" the bag for you free of charge (you would just reclaim immediately after deplaning). But no, EasyJet will bend you over and charge you €50 to check something as simple as a backpack."

The aircraft stops at the middle-of the airport in Budapest and we had to walk a very long stretch to get to the airport in the cold since the plane was not connected to a gate. For sone confusion they stopped boarding in the middle and passengers had to stand in the freezing cold , outside the aircraft , in the middle of the airport for a very long time. Hated the flight. Charges you for every single think you can think and not think off. Every passenger seemed frustrated"

Basically, it was a "figure it out for yourself" sort of situation. We went to another counter, not even directly associated with Ryan, and a very nice gentleman there printed our passes for us. He also seemed really confused as to why the Ryan Air employee wouldn't print them for us. Then, we weren't given a gate assignment until 20 mintues before the time we were supposed to board. How do you expect your customers to be prepared if you can't even tell them where they are supposed to go until the last minute? Then they made us board a bus to take us to the plane on the tarmac which was not a big deal. But they made us stand on the bus for 20+ mintues before they took us over to the plan. The bus was completely full, so it's not like they were waiting to load more passengers. The doors to the bus were open, so it was freezing cold (our flight was late at night) and we were forced to breath in exhaust fumes from the bus the entire time! The flight was also an hour delayed!!! I know it's a super cheap ticket, but do yourself a favor and spend a little more money to fly on an airline that actually knows what they're doing. This is my first and most definitely LAST time flying on Ryan Air. If I could give zero stars, I would."

While I do realize now that it is mentioned on my boarding pass, there was no other mention of it along the way from arriving at the airport, checking my bag (I used self check), going throigh security, or anywhere else in the RyanAir terminal. Perhaps this could be made more clear for travelers who have never experienced this before."

Nevýhody: "Was one of the worst flights I’ve ever taken. No information, no updates, no announcements until 15 minutes after flight was supposed to leave. No ground staff apart from one lady who worked for the airport who was incredibly rude and unhelpful. They loaded the Dublin flight through the same gate we were supposed to be flying from and we’re putting them on buses keeping them there 10 minutes pulling them off the buses, putting them back on the buses. It was an absolute joke. On the flight the cabin crew were slow, again no information at all. Just stood there looking useless and chatting ignoring passenger call lights. We landed in Stansted and they couldn’t open the gate as the ground staff “couldn’t find the key” keeping us on the plane for an extra 10-15 minutes with no AC. Terrible experience would never book Ryanair ever again."

Nevýhody: "To be charged $20 at the ticket counter for a printed boarding pass is offensive. Despite having already checked in online, Ryannair apparently thinks I should have spent my holiday hunting down a print shop as not to incur their "get a printed boarding pass from an unpleasant ticket counter employee" fee. No boarding pass kiosks and unclear why they would not provide a digital one upon online check-in. Or rather it became clear as I handed over my debit card. Seats are intentionally designated apart from your travel companions so you'll pay more to have them switched to sit next your friend. Cabin is extra cramped. Ryannair is all-around terrible by budget airline standards."
Nevýhody: "The fee to check in at the airport was absurd. There is no reason that they should not have been able to accommodate me when I was unable to check in online. The luggage is incredibly expensive as well."

Forced to print our tix before arrival we "failed to read the fine print" that we were supposed to undergo a "visa check" before the gate. Whatever the heck that's about. First time requirement and totally obtuse. Gate agents did their best to humiliate. No inflight free services. Just be glad you aren't made to pay to pee (yet)."

Výhody: "We arrived about 20min earlier than expected. Our bags were checked in for free and we got them on time and without issues at the baggage belt on arrival. Snacks and drinks are not free but available for purchase. There isn't any kind of on-board entertainment. We sat in the last row and we have plenty of leg room - surprisingly."
Nevýhody: "No drinks for free. It would be nice to get at least a glass of water. But it is understandable that low budget- short flights are not offering such services anymore."

Výhody: "They didn't make me check my bag on the first flight but did on the second. It cost me 50 Euro, which is more than I paid for the flight. Overall, good airline if you pack light."

One poor passenger had a seizure on the way to the runway and was subjected to their reticule! They should have been removed!"

Nevýhody: "The customer service representative at the Dublin airport for Ryanair was extremely rude and was annoyed from the moment we stepped up to the desk. Yes, Ryanair is a budget airline but it costs $0 to be nice and helpful especially if you are working in customer service."

We saw a number of people with bags as large as ours carry on and even the baggage attendants outside the plane were surprised. Wong fly Ryanair again due to one stubborn employee at the gate"

Nevýhody: "Had two bags to check. Paid for two bags in advance. Didn't know there was a total weight allowance across two bags. First bag ate up most of total weight allowance which forced me to pay for the overage on the second bag of €70. I thought I could bump up my second bag to the higher weight class when checking in instead of having to pay the overage charge that was three times as much. Found out during boarding they were checking bags for free...should have done carry on and avoided the extra costs."

Nevýhody: "I was told I could not use my pillow for take-off, landing and the majority of the in flight. I broke my neck years ago and I need the pillow for neck support especially for takeoff and landings which are always the most painful part. ( Didn't help that the pilot had rough decent and a violent touchdow on landing). I just truly am baffled as to why I was not allowed to use a pillow? We are not talking about some large bed pillow we are talking about a small pillow that takes up no room and is specifically made for flying. I tried using my water bottle as neck support but it was no luck. Flying is already painful enough and to not be allowed to use a pillow which helps to support the neck is truly agregious. I really don't know what to say on why this wasn't allowed but I hope this issue is solved with upper management so the next person with such a problem will Never have to go through this. As for I, I will never use Ryanair again. Truly disappointing."
