Nevýhody: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

Whether it's her personal opinion or KLM's policy, it's unreasonable to think that a 3 years old child could or should hold her pipi over 20 minutes, while they slowly and inefficiently trying to give out food. Several parents were there with the request to let us through to the toilet with small children and she smiled in our face and said "no, we will finish first and than you can go". She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."

Nevýhody: "Flight delayed ... Myself and three other colleagues didn't have our luggage show up from KLM flight from Amsterdam to Brussels...even though all of our luggage was labeled "priority". Once in customer service line, we looked and saw that many of the other passengers on our flight also never received their luggage. We estimated that 20-25% of the people on that flight did not receive their luggage as they were in line with us for the same problem. Hard to understand how so many pieces of luggage could have been overlooked and not loaded on our flight. Obviously there is a huge gap in their quality system to ensure mistakes like this are prevented."

The boarding process in London was horrible. queuing up everybody then telling them the general boarding is "over there". The lines should be more well-defined and single file to avoid bunching up. There was plenty of room to form lines, but the stanchions were not in place. Poorly executed. Also, there are FAR too many priorty boarding classes. People had to jump lines and go around barrier tapes to get to their positions in line when their priority class was called. Once on board, the crew did a fine job, but the boarding area is completely screwed up."

Our departure was delayed by 1 hour. Seats in economy class are really cramped so when seats are declined person behind can not eat without banging head into the back rest. Difficult to get in and out of seat as well. Arm rests do not come all the way up so one has to squat to avoid being hit by arm rest. Not very pleasant on 11 hour long flight. Joe"

Nevýhody: "Prague to London flight First I was surprised and disappointed to find out there were so many extra fees. They get you to buy the ticket with a cheaper price and then hit you with all the extra fees e.g. choosing a seat, luggage, food, drinks, you will pay for everything except the flight. The second thing is that when I did go to the BA website on 5 different occasions to pay for my luggage and in order to get a cheaper rate for doing it online before check-in, it gave me a message that the site to do it was not working and that I needed to pay for it at the airport check-in. When I went to check-in at the airport the ticket agent seemed annoyed that I had luggage to check in when I hadn't registered it online. When I told her that the site was down and I wasn't able to do it before hand, she showed no sympathy or understanding. Instead she proceeded to charge me for checking my luggage. It was an outrageous amount of over $80 USD. I have never in all my travels around the world been charged for my luggage. I only travel with one carry on and one medium size check luggage because of my extensive travel. I know charging for luggage may be something more airlines will start doing but I did not think that BA would be one of them. I also would have appreciated some compensation for theirsite being down and not being able to get a discount on the fee because I couldn’t check it online. I am extremely disappointed with my BA experience and will never fly with them again. That is unfortunate for them since I am in the process of traveling around the world for the next few years while writing a travel blog and book. I will definitely publish my review and experience in detail, which I am sure will influence my readers and followers."

One lady said to put our luggage in the first available compartment, then when we tried, another lady rudely said, if that's not where you're sitting, you can't put your bag there. We were embarrassed and when we tried to explain what we'd been told she told us to keep moving."

What a nice thing to say to someone who paid $125 one-way to stick a dog under a seat."

Nevýhody: "Didn't like not having a screen on the back of the seat in front of me, that I would have to pay $10 to rent an ipad."
Nevýhody: "I've never been on a transatlantic flight that didn't offer a drink with dinner. Plus, not having a TV screen for passenger's entertainment is out dated. Time to upgrade these planes, or don't use them for long haul flights"
Nevýhody: "How can delayed over a hour for such a short flight?"
Výhody: "Getting off the plane."
Nevýhody: "They didn't give out free nuts/pretzels. The entertainment system was off for half the flight even through they said it would reboot in 10 minutes. Loading the plane was the slowest I have ever seen."
Nevýhody: "I usually drink 2 or 3 beers on a flight like this. I bought a beer for myself and girlfriend. Beer hot and was told they had no way to keep cold. That's how it comes. 13.50 wasted. Sat there for 3 1/2 hours with nothing to drink. Had nothing on way back. Kind of ruined my flying experience. Have to think about flying air Canada again."
Výhody: "The flight attendants were GREAT. The seats are crammed so close together that I had trouble getting my under the seat suitcase wedged in. On other airlines, the suitcase fits very nicely underneath the seat, allowing me to rest my feet on the suitcase. I am on the short side, so having the suitcase to rest my feet really helps. On the flight to Toronto, my daughter had to do it for me. On the return flight, the sweet flight attendant put the bag in and took it out for me. I really appreciated that"
Nevýhody: "I know that all airlines have reduced the seat size and spacing. But it seems like Air Canada is worse than most."
Nevýhody: "I will never fly Air Canada between Detroit and Toronto again. Both ways the crew looked exhausted and like they were rather be anyplace but working our flight. Both times they took our carry ons without giving us a choice. For our flight out this was a stressful nuisance because we had to catch a connecting overseas flight. This involved my husband and son going to baggage claim and then having to go back through customs and TSA. The whole point of carry ons is to avoid this. Luckily we didn't miss our international flight but not a good way to begin a trip of a lifetime. Flight was completely uncomfortable and it seemed like no one cared. Should have driven"
Výhody: "Made it in one piece without lost luggage"
Nevýhody: "4+ hour flight, no complimentary snacks, seating felt cramped,~45 minute delay in departure and docking, infotainment center broken"
Výhody: "They were quick to bring meals and snacks. Friendly and accommodating flight crew."
Nevýhody: "For a 9 hour flight, I would have preferred a heads up that there is no in-flight entertainment and you need to have a charged device of your own with the Air Canada app pre-installed. And if you didn't get that memo and you have an Apple device, you're out of luck. Otherwise you can rent an iPad for $10. The chairs were thin and flimsy making it difficult to sleep. And unfortunately we got a "window seat" that did not have a window. It was very disappointing."
Nevýhody: "No leg room, no tv's and no chargers."
Výhody: "We arrived to our destination safely"
Nevýhody: "Overbooked flight Switched gates at the last minute before boarding--very confusing. Filthy bathrooms on plane Typical bad airline food; couldn't even break apart dinner roll it was so rubbery. No individual movie screens, had to use your own mobile device and earphones or pay $10 to use an ipad provided by the plane to access in-flight network. Overall very disappointing service. Expected much more from Air Canada."
Výhody: "The staff was generally helpful and pleasant."
Nevýhody: "The airport kiosks were down save one. This created unnecessarily longer wait times for everyone,me specially those that were only looking to get a printed Boarding Pass."
Výhody: "The commuter terminal in Toronto is a bit of a pit. Basically a glorified hallway, which gets pretty chaotic while you are waiting for your flight, and others are queuing up. For anyone with mobility challenges it is a long hike from the main terminal."
Nevýhody: "Mine and my wife's legs did not fit. The seats were spaced much closer together than is standard, and this made the flight unbearable. I stood in the isle for most of the flight. To make things worse on this 5 hour flight, there was no video available to distract me."
Výhody: "New and spacious"
Nevýhody: "The food wasn't great but then again it's just getting you where you want to go"
Výhody: "Punctuality. Take off and landing was to schedule, and the return flight was actually 20+ minutes early landing"
Nevýhody: "Extra charges for baggage; no food whatsoever unless you bought it; staged boarding meant that when we finally were allowed on board other passengers had pinched our overhead cabin space, NOT IMPRESSED; no in flight entertainment unless you had downloaded the AC Rouge player in advance; no recharging socket for tablet devices - so you might just see half a movie anyway. If I pay a lot of money for a ticket, even if it's a budget airline, I expect more."
Nevýhody: "AIR CANADA charged departure time after original reservation was made for our return trip to a later time that was inconvenient that resulted in a hardship driving for ( senior citizens) arriving home after a 4 hour drive from the airport to Ocala, FL.home arriving at 1 AM."
Výhody: "Staff was friendly and accomodating"
Nevýhody: "Return flight was delayed a couple hours, customs was "full" at Pearson causing more delays"
Výhody: "Fast & efficient"
Nevýhody: "Crew was strangely inflexible about rules that I had not encountered before- being only in ticketed seat until at altitude (the flight was very empty), only specific headphones during takeoff & ascent, no headphones or electronic devices at all during final descent and landing."
Výhody: "flight was mostly empty so I can go sit somewhere else"
Nevýhody: "I am only 6 feet tall, and my legs do not fit in those seats there is not physically enough room between the back of the seat and the back of the next seat for my legs to fit there"
Výhody: "Extra leg room but paid for it."
Nevýhody: "Very turbulent. Entertainment system was okay on iPad but selections were poor, lots of old stuff. Really dislike Rouge."
Nevýhody: "Could not book on line and had to sit 20 rows from my wife. When you book 2 persons 1 month in advance then I would expect that we would at least be seated together. Plane was full but A/C made no effort whatsoever to seat us together. With so many choices out there to fly with they ( Air Canada ) should try to put in a little more effort"
Nevýhody: "do not like the idea of having to pay extra for a seat other than a middle seat even though I booked and you had my money long before the flight happened"
