Nevýhody: "Had our luggage checked for connecting flight in Frankfurt"

Výhody: "Even though it was economy class, I was able to sleep because it was very comfortable."

Help phones were either busy or never answered. A black hole of no information until the bag arrived 30 hours later. Then a 45 min. At airport to get it back."

Nevýhody: "i ordered 1 kosher meal and the flight attendant said they gave out all special meals and ours was not on the list"

Nevýhody: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

I left my head phone on the plane, spoke with a Lufthansa rep they called and said I would not have time to go back for them but they would send them to me. then the flight going from Munich to Frankfurt was late so I missed my flight from Frankfurt to Dusseldorf. Waited for 3 hours then the flight to Dusseldorf was canceled. waited for 2 hours for a train ticket. then had to take another train to the airport to get a rental car. GOT TO THE HOTEL AT 11:30pm Saturday night had to be at work at 7:00am NOT HAPPY"

When the airplane took off from Munich, one of the over head bin opened up which was full of carry-ons just above a family with two little kids. Everybody got scared that something will be flying out of there. I understand that no one should leave their seat to close it, but it was extremely dangerous for it to stay open, and because no flight attendant came to close it two of the passengers had to got up."

Nevýhody: "Boarding began 25 min after the indicated time. Huge crowd of people (big Airbus 330) was standing in the corridor in some kind of disorganized manner. Priority entrance was open, but then another 20-25 min in the closed waiting area, some kind of hoarder. Only then the mixture of all passengers was let through the sleeve to the plane. Why bother about Priority? Plane arrive in NYC 35 min late. Many transit passengers worried about their connecting flights."

Nevýhody: "Big struggle for airlines still remains varying quality customer service. Finnair still seems to struggle with this occasionally. Finnair can work harder to keep customer service quality high. Hate to say it, but perhaps letting the bitter, last generation flight attendants who seem to have a grudge about the decline of the glamour and benefits of the job as flying has become commonplace with more competition (seen this on Finnair & N America’s older airlines line United)"

I will never forget this experience and would avoid flying with Finnair ever again! This was really the worst flight I have ever experienced!"

The attendant said i needed to speak up if i wanted something and i pointed out i did and he said he would get me on the way back but never came back until he was picking up the empties. He said everyone else seemed to get served what was my problem and I pointed out the girl next to me was also skipped to which he turned around and never walked down my aisle again. Also, the lack of wiFi on this leg was a disappointment as it was available on the trip to Barcelona. That goes a long way to making the long trip more enjoyable."

Výhody: "It's a direct flight, it runs on time, the staff on the ground and on the flight are professional, courteous, and helpful. If you are lucky enough to have an empty seat next to you, the seating is quite comfortable, with adequate foot and stretching room."
Nevýhody: "For in-flight entertainment, the ceiling-mounted screens along the aisle are hard to see and offer no choices for viewing. The food, as usual, was poor. I ordered vegetarian meals, and on the return trip for both meals was given the same soggy pasta with tomato sauce--no protein (why not add a few chickpeas or white beans?)."

Nevýhody: "First of all, though this was booked as a Finnair flight, Finnair was never part of the process after the booking. We rec'd an email from Kayak saying we could check in 36 hrs early - not so. Even at the 24 hr mark, we were unable to check in via Finnair - had to go to British Airways. Finnair was not represented at either airport - British Airways. On the return, British Airways canceled our flight (2 hrs before takeoff), and we could not get a non-stop flight home. This meant that we had to change terminals, retrieve our bags at the layover, recheck, etc. which of course, added 3 hrs to the original length of the trip. Where's our compensation? We paid for a round trip non-stop flight."

And, if this flight is not going to offer the amenities accustomed to a typical trans-atlantic flight (such as in-seat TV), then the price should be substantially cheaper. I will be complaining to the airline itself for this, and may not fly this airline again."

Výhody: "On the way home i was awake for the whole flight, and found it to be quite good. Had trouble choosing my seat from early check in bit what I got was good. Good good, service great, clean and comfortable."

Nevýhody: "at least 10 people were waiting at the wrong gate when they finally announced the gate change. the gate was on the other side of the terminal and nothing was indicated on the information screens"

Nevýhody: "They rebooked us all at the gate and split people up. So boarding was a nightmare without anyone being friendly. The plane was the oldest plane I have seen they had one tv for the plane and the whole section I was sat in didn't have volume that worked and they basically said too bad. The crew didn't respond to any lights that were put on they put their head down and scooted past you. I have been flying to and from USA to UK for 15 years worse flight."

Nevýhody: "Flight was outsourced to some odd named company, old plane, terrible service, unable to watch anything on the screen in front. Crew was very hard to understand. Norwegian is good but if I realized I might get stuck on this knockoff airiline, I would have flown another carrier."

Nevýhody: "First Class cabin in need of repairs, seats broken, media is archaic, crew tries hard but their tools and services are minimal. The premium food options make coach anywhere else seem grand and there are no amenities like a pillow etc. I knew most of this when booking and I don't really drink or eat much but really this product is sub par. Still I have a seat which becomes a bed and for long haul flights that's what I want. So there is that. Also no on line checkin and never try to call the customer service.......it's very 1990's. Finally Norw Air had to sub contract out the equipment and crew on this Rome to NYC flight. I understand the sub contractors seat are better than NA's First Class seats. Stay Tuned.....this was my first R/T.......I may give it one more try and report back."

Výhody: "The flight was scheduled for 10:30pm and left at 1:30am, causing many passengers, including myself, to miss our connections- there was no assistance and no explanation. The seat spacing is very tight and seats are uncomfortable. One of my worst flight experiences."

Nevýhody: "I flew Norweigan round trip to Paris from NYC in May. I knew that it was a budget airline, but I've never seen such horrible service. If you like chaos and being treated like a second class citizen, this is the airline for you. Upon arrival at the airport, we were not able to check our bags at check in (you have to pay 80 Euro and go upstairs to do so). When we asked the staff at the front desk, they were blunt and rude and looked at us like we were crazy for even asking to check our bag. At boarding, they called group A to board at a different gate, then proceeded to make everyone stand for the next 20 minutes before giving us the update that they would need another 10 minutes to give us an update. The terminal was so small no one had any room to move or find out what was going on. During the flight, the only in flight entertainment was the map, Titanic (in French), and Wonder Woman. The rest of the channels either didn't work or didn't exist. The flight attendants only spoke to the people who pre-purchased their meals, so don't expect them to acknowledge you if you didn't buy anything. We weren't even offered water on a 7 hour flight, you had to get the attention of the flight attendant so you could purchase water."

Nevýhody: "It is always really nice to get free coffee as a passenger. Traveling is exhausting and I would have been so appreciative of free coffee on the flight, and felt even more comforted and likely to fly Norwegian in the future."

Nevýhody: "I got to the airport at 8:45 for a 10:25 flight with carry on only. Carry on I have used with Norwegian in the past, and was actually packed minimally as this trip is only 4 days. The person at the kiosks who did the weighing of luggage was barely understandable. No one was helpful, instead it was like some game t weigh the bag and tell someone it was a kilo over. After I stood in line for 45 min, the bag weighed in at 8.6 kilos!! Clearly under the requirement, but as I was told to stand in line I was forced to check that bag and pay $65 (and to pay you had to move to a separate line that took another 30 min). As you can imagine 40% of the plane was in the same spot and then even with the flight boarding, no Norwegian staff assisted all of these passengers to get through security. Miserable!"

Sizes/weighs allowed for baggage is less than American air carriers and they charge you per kg for overage."

The funeral is on Monday at 10 AM and it Sunday afternoon I was told to call back then to see if there is any more information on Tuesday?? Needless to say, not impressed!"

I am not sure what the hold up was, but it took a slow moving line to finally get on to the plane and then to my seat. They charge for everything, no biscuit, pretzel, peanuts, water, coffee, or tea was complimentary."

Nevýhody: "It was getting there that was a pain. I am a handicapped passenger, traveling alone, walking on a cane. When you enter Terminal 1, you have to turn left and walk about 150 meters to an "assistance station" to get a wheelchair before you even check in for the flight. So for me it was walk 150 meters to wait for a wheelchair, be wheeled back to the airline's desk to check in, then go back the way you came to pass through security. (By the way, in the UK, you must remove all gels for a separate inspection, meaning toothpaste and shampoo, and they must be 100ml or less, or else you must check the bag.) After that rigmarole, you don't even go to the gate, because the flight doesn't have a gate assignment until about 35 minutes before departure. Then I had to climb stairs to get to the cabin. Shouldn't an airport in a market this large have jet bridges for every flight?"

The rest of the world can give the gate well ahead of time, why can't Britain do the same?"

Nevýhody: "Our Easy Jet flight from Reykjavik to Geneva was cancelled because the plane that the company sent over from Geneva was about 15 seats too small. The ground crew told us that all rows after 26 did not exist. At first, this was characterized as an overbooking, which probably made me more angry than the subsequent explanation that the plane from Geneva had maintenance problems, and that passengers from Geneva to Reykjavik had suffered the same fate. The real problem here is that Easy Jet lacks problem solvers. We watched a bag jam-up the conveyer from the check in to wherever it goes from there. Ticket agent after ticket agent tried to fix it until one got lucky. Where was the person with a toolbox who knew about these things? Likewise, with our situation, there should have been a customer service specialist who had seen this type of problem and knew just what to do. Instead, the ground crew, friendly as they were, really just made a lot of phone calls for us and tried to be empathetic. We'll be filing a claim for compensation and hopefully Easy Jet can make some improvements."
