Výhody: "The most difficult problem I have to deal with in airline transportation occurs when the fellow traveler in the seat in front of me decides to drop their seat back into my lap. The seats are so close together that when the seat in front of you is all the way back the following happens: 1. You can no longer view the monitor on the seat back. 2. You cannot eat or write from your tray top. 3. You have great difficulty getting out of your seat. 4. You have great difficulty keeping from severely injuring the occupant of that seat. The way to deal with this is to get out of your seat. Stand in front of the offending passenger and as politely as you can as him or her to refrain from dropping the seat back so far. But the airline should not put you in this situation."

Výhody: "The crew on Swiss Air is very welcoming. The food was pretty good and there was frequent beverage service, so you don't get dehydrated like on other airlines."
Nevýhody: "The seats decline fairly far back into the next seat. As a result, some of the passengers got agitated if they do not go with the flow and decline like dominoes. Both legs of the flight we had the people seated behind us kicking and shoving our seats. One gentleman was kicking my seat for a couple hours and made a scene on the outgoing flight. The stewardess addressed the gentleman and explained that I had to decline my seat because the seat in front of me was declined. My knees were jammed into the seat in front of me, so every time the gentleman kicked me, it not only hurt my back, but my knees. The couple behind us on the return flight jumped the line to get onto the flight, kept kicking our seats and then pretended they did not understand when we asked that they stop. I think the pilot should address the issue upfront so this toddler like behavior does not go on. I am not sure if it is common behavior, but not something I have experienced on an American carrier."

Výhody: "The flights were Just as schedule, the arrival time was even earlier than planned. The crew is always available and tries to make the flight as comfortable as it can be. The food is brilliant in comparison to other airlines. To sum up, always a good choice. * this is my 8th flight with Swiss."

I have never seen,such comfort in a plane,such great service,so many snacks and meals,and the crew was coming by every 30-45 minutes for water. We were served Swiss chocolate and also the best ice cream I have had in my life. Best flight and best plane I have flown in my life."

Nevýhody: "We had to take a bus to get to the airplane from the terminal, which was no big deal. The bus driver was a little rough though."

Nevýhody: "I could not purchase transport for an extra bag on the website. I did purchase it at Larnaca Airport. There, I checked in, dropped off the bag, had to go to another counter to pay (long delay in them being able to generate a receipt). Then I had to run the receipt back to the ticket counter."

Výhody: "Once again the crew was great and helped me find a place to stow my carry on since I was in the emergency row. The snack was also very tasty."

Nevýhody: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

Nevýhody: "Food was horrible. Service was scarce. Bathrooms were not the cleanest. Snacks were scarce and not appropriate. The tv screens were not too user friendly and programs would skip while showings."

Nevýhody: "I reserved this flight months in advance, but were given seats in the last row, next to the restrooms, when there were other seats available. In the United part of this trip, they let me reserve my seats when I paid."

Nevýhody: "First time took Lufthansa airlines and it was my one of the worst experience. Hospitality is respected when customer is helped when they are in trouble not when they is happily boarded. I have to travel from Milan to San Francisco and I missed flight of my one leg ( milan to frankfurt) of journeyand I went for help and non of the Lufthansa staff at Milan airport helped me. Although my connecting flight was after 12hr they just gave me some random number which to call. I have never experience this in my 8yr of international travel."

Nevýhody: "I am only 158cm tall (5 feet 2 inches) and I had no leg room! My knees hit the seat in front of me. The seats were also so narrow that you could not change position at all, so it was very uncomfortable for a 8.5 hour flight. And I weigh less than 45 kg (100lbs). I can't imagine how anyone bigger than me felt. My seat was toward the back of the plane, and it took the crew over an hour to reach us once they started the drink and food carts. One time my row got entirely skipped for the drink cart, even though we were awake. This was a problem because they didn't come by for another 5.5 hours with more water/drinks, and they did not give us water bottles for that time period like Delta does. The food wasn't tasty, but it was eatable. The movie options were great, but that was all I could do on the screen because half of mine did not respond to touch, which meant no games and I could only select movies on the left half of my screen. Weird."

Výhody: "First time flying Lufthansa and I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The food was quite good and the selection and quality of entertainment was excellent. Best of all, there was plenty of legroom for a long international flight!"

Nevýhody: "2 1/2 hour wait while boarded then missed flights in toronto. Toronto airport a mess! Unclear directions and procedues."

Výhody: "The new plane entertainment features and the bigger toilet room space... but... seat space SUCKS... I'd rather have a more comfy seat than bigger toilet room space"
Nevýhody: "The person behind me kept pushing my seat back.. guy next to me kept elbowing me. Seat space is way to small, need more room to move. I'm only 130 lbs. can hardly wonder how a bigger person can handle those tiny seat spaces. Also, those seats are so uncomfortable with the way they contour one's back. No support and very very uncomfortable, I had mid back tension pains the entire 12 hour flight."

Výhody: "Sitting 1 hour in aircraft while the bypassing plane stopped to switch the crew because of limited working hours.... My flight was delayed for 1 hour and I missed my connection. On the plane, no one alerted I was rebooked and suggested to run to my gate as they "will be waiting for you..." No one at the gate 5 min after departure time, no one to help... VERY BAD, Lufthansa..."
Nevýhody: "My connection was lost due to Lufthaza bad management for flying crew members time. I was rebooked on another flight several hours later with KLM. Arrived to my destination without my luggage as no one from KLM or Lufthansa was able to locate it. My vacation is ruined, in 3 days I'm flying to another country in Europe and don't even know if I will fly with or without my luggage. No one apologized at Lufthansa or suggested any accommodations... Very disappointed with services. Lufthansa used to be good, but I guess not anymore."

Nevýhody: "I'm a photographer on a 3 week trip. I have luggage. Unless you take the ferry, there are limited airline options to Cyclades. Aegean really doesn't want you if you have luggage. Felt like I was being scolded. True, I'm trying to be frugal and avoid a big investment in shock-proof luggage and/or checked baggage fees, but as long as it fits under my seat, what's the big deal? I'm sure I easily weigh at least 70 pounds less than the person sitting next to me, so the extra 4 kg in a backpack that I (female) can personally carry shouldn't be an issue. Then, there's no jetway. You leave the gate to board a bus that takes you to a plane on the tarmac where you must climb a rather large flight of metal stairs. Reverse direction, It takes quite some time and a few crew members to assist those with disabilities to deplane. All the time the rest of the passengers are waiting in the bus to get to their connections. Would only ever fly this airline again if it was the only option to get where I want to go."

So in fact the total cost of the air ticket from Athens to Prague is much higher than the other airlines. Kayak did not do a good job warning me about the luggage charge."

Nevýhody: "With Kayak I booked Tel Aviv to Malta with 1 hour stop in Athens. The first flight was delayed by an hour hence making me lose my second flight. Aegean then booked me on a flight to Catania (Italy) for a different connection to Malta. Only that this Aegean flight was also delayed by an hour making me miss the second connection. Eventually I arrived in Malta 15 hours later than scheduled. Aegean customer service reps were extremely unhelpful and made this 10 times more difficult. I missed a whole vacation day, amassed roaming telephone charges and on top of that missed a reservation for Dinner in the Sky Malta."

Nevýhody: "30 minutes delay on boarding. Flight attendants did not pay any attention to me when i pressed the assistance button. No one ever came to ask what i needed, they passed by me more than 10 times while the attendance light was on but they never saw it. Very disappointing."

Výhody: "Service was great with food and beverages and checkin bags included."

On board the plane, the breakfast was really excellent (plane food-wise) and the attendants were very friendly. In terms of comfort, I was lucky to sit in row 3 (yes, that was Economy class), so I actually had some leg room. On my way to Athens, I'd been seated in row 22 and there was no chance to move my legs at all."

On Austrian and Swiss I didn't get anything. For same price range and same alliance, that is a point I keep in mind. Now I mainly try to get onto Lufthansa flights (or Turkish Airlines which is my favorite). Even on Aegean, I got better food, and the magazine was better, plus there were some monitors to track the flight. Austrian feels cheaper than the others. That is the main point I didn't like."

Food isn't great, but no airline food is really great. Boarding was significantly delayed from what it said on the boarding pass, with no updates. But we arrived on time. Getting luggage after flight at Dulles took a really long time, but I think that is more of an airport issue as getting my luggage from another Austrian airlines flight to another airport was a breeze."

And mind you- no passenger in my row as any larger than the average person. The seat recline was fine and marginally helpful in relieving back strain- except it did put you in the lap of the passenger behind you. The passenger across the aisle from me shoved the seat in front of her and told the passenger in front of her he could NOT recline. The passenger next to her (I assume her husband) joined in with the shoving. I finally felt a need to intervene and calm them down as it began to escalate- and I did want the flight to continue. Note- while I think the passengers shoving the seat were a bit rude- the crowded nature of the seating with the recline was hard, so I understand. But the person in front had a reason (and a NEED given the discomfort) to lean his seat back. The seats were simply too uncomfortable to keep them upright. I helped them find a recline for both passengers that was reasonably okay. I also tried to get my recline somewhere between comfortable for me (impossible) and reasonable in space for the person behind me, This is an airline problem. And when people wonder about the rise in passenger rage... this cramming in is it. I had to use Austrian because of a last minute need to book a flight- given the inability to relax even a little and the residual back and leg pain ... thus my ability to immediately jump into work during a busy work and travel schedule means that I will definitely not take this airline again. If you are shorter than 5' 5 and weigh about 100 lbs- this might be okay. Otherwise, expect to be a lot of rats shoved in a cage."

When I called at 9:00 am (when their offices are open) to ask for help with what happened, I received no answer other than, "the check in system has just closed. I am unable to help you in any way". I booked another flight with another carrier, and did not take this flight., not do I plan to book with them in the future That being said, it is not the job of the employee to defend a poorly working system. Services need upgrade asap."

Very frustrated"

And then someone started smoking on the flight and the attendants had to announce again that smoking wasnt allowed. On and off throughout the flight it smelled like someone was smoking so I wonder if it was even coming from the cockpit."

The on-line Seating Selection is also unreliable, I was seated next to an empty seat which had been showing to be unavailable on-line! A response to my query which I sent to Blue Air arrived when I was in the air on the flight! It only repeated the baggage section of the Confitions document! Thank goodness for the excellent airport check-in staff and the Flight Crew!"
