And I asked people in the street e.g taxi drivers etc which airport my flight could be from. They told me that a new airport in Islamabad had become operational and my flight could be from the newer airport. I went to the new airport but I was late for boarding because my time was wasted in going first to the Benazir International Airport and then rerouting to the new airport. Fortunately the fight from Islamabad to Qatar was delayed and I was able to make it to the boarding and flew from Islamabad to Doha."

I bought drinks inside the terminal for this 14 hour flight but they were all confiscated at the additional security at the gate!! WTF"

Our media system did not work for one leg. ** way to many ads on your media system. Every time you watch a new TV episode, you have to sit through 5-6 ads for stuff that is not interesting and the same each time. ** plane info on media system keeps reverting to Arabic even when English is indicated as preferred la gauge. We had to place our iPads in checked luggage for flights from harare to USA as we went through Qatar. *** I asked for quiet seats and was given seats near kitchen and toilet even though I booked in hours in advance. One leg had my ten year old daughter and I in different rows even though I checked in 4-5 hours in advance Of flight . ** staff moved my hand luggage without my permission and without informing me - it was stressful trying to find it."

Výhody: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."

Nevýhody: "While going Airport staff was not at all good at Chicago airport. I had a carry on bag, which I had been using in all other airlines as carry on for last couple of years and never was told that the size is not right. I was asked to either check in carry on as extra baggage and pay $300 or put my carry on stuff in my other checked in baggage and pay extra for over limit $120. And I have to trash my carry on of $80 value. I was not at all happy. I noticed in the flight so many passengers have the same size carry on, which I have to trash. On my return journey from Delhi to Abu Dhabi I was talking to a woman in the security line, who was sharing the same experience and she told me that they charge her $400 for one extra suitcase. To me that was shocking as how come I was asked $300 for extra checked in bag and she was charged $400. No idea what kind of policies Etihad has for extra baggage. I would like Etihad management to pay attention to the airport staff dealings with customers."
Nevýhody: "I missed the flight in the airport and when I went to the office in the airport to put me on the next flight they denied help. They asked me to pay the difference. I had to agree but I had not a credit card so they refused to take cash. Spend very frustrating two hours trying to convince the rude employee to put me on the flight... Do not use that airport or that company."
Nevýhody: "From Washington to Abu Dhabi was terrible small sweats less room for leg's."
Nevýhody: "Food choice was limited. Entertainment choices were inadequate."

Nevýhody: "Because I purchased the ticket from kayak I feel like they punished me. I had a 14 hour layover. I went to the counter ask about a meal voucher and they said I didn't qualify because I purchased through a 3rd party and so I sat there for 14 hours dreaming of when I would eat next."
Nevýhody: "they have a uncomfortable seats in a long flights and comfortable seats in short flights like Abo Dhabi - Bahrain"
Výhody: "On time. Plane was clean. Security clearance was good."
Nevýhody: "Food quantity and quality dropped to zero. Absolutely disappointed. I had travelled with etihad before. But this time I feel like not to travel with them again. In a 14 hour flight hardly one meal with 10 hour gap. Imagine if some one traveling with diabetic needs"
Výhody: "Beware of the etihad airport crew at Abu Dhabi. They are extremely inept. The gate agent lost my ID card needed to gain entry into a third country. Not only I had to miss my connecting fight from Abu Dhabi, was never put on another flight, but etihad also cancelled my return portion of the ticket all due to a mistake by their gate agent."
Nevýhody: "Beware of their scamming ways by cancelling my return ticket due to their mistake...ripoff...avoid using etihad and any othermiddle eastern airlines, their planes are ok but their customer service is the worst in the world"
Výhody: "Service was efficient though the there were not that many movies available & after I realized that my television screen would not stay up because I was sitting in front of the exit door, I tried listening to the music but my head set was broken too! The stewards were trying to finish picking up the snack & clean up so there was less than an hour left I decided not to bother them further."
Nevýhody: "As far as the snack that was served,it was a dry roll with little bit of cheese in it . My daughter & I both did not take an other bite and put the rest of it back in the bag!"
Výhody: "The crew was curtious, flight on time, good and clean planes, met all expectations."
Výhody: "Fantastic crew! Good selection for tv, food was good. Baggage checked all the way through, no problems or complaints at all. Will definitely fly Etihad again."

Nevýhody: "Many passengers were rude, standing in the aisle near the entry to the restroom / galley area. The crew repeatedly asked them to sit and they would sometimes ignore then outright and other times sit for a short while only to get up once again. For me the seat cushion was a bit hard for such a long flight."

Výhody: "I've flown more than 9 different airways on international flights; Etihad has probably the best economy seats and in flight entertainment with large movie collection."
Nevýhody: "Etihad overbooked me along with more than a dozen other passengers on a 14-hour international flight. Apparently Etihad decides on who gets left behind. Etihad's "Transit Travelers" service is one of the WORST customer service desks I've ever been to. I waited in line for 2 hours. Passengers were urging to be served so they can make it to their connecting flights not knowing they have been already selected not to board those plains. Voices were raised and demands were made to speak to the supervisor. It was chaos. I made it to the agent shortly after the gate to my flight had opened. I was shocked by how the agent lacked empathy when he informed me I won't make it to the connecting flight because it had been overbooked. Not an apology or even sir! I was forced to be rerouted which stretches my 25-hour trip to 33 hours. Then the connecting flight gets delayed more than an hour resulting in missing the second connecting flight. Now my trip has become a 41-hour trip, I missed a day of work that's worth more than double the value of the voucher Etihad gave me and lost one day of unscheduled vacation. Etihad even damages my bag that had servived more than 10 flights. I will never fly Etihad and strongly recommend against flying with Etihad."

Výhody: "I got sick, and I felt faint and and nauseous. When I told a member of the crew, he took me back to the galley and let me lie with oxygen until I felt better. The rest of the crew continued to check on me the rest of the flight."
Výhody: "On time departure n arrival"
Nevýhody: "They should include better meal plan. 13 hrs flight they should include three main course. Poor meal plan, my sugar went down n my wife rushed to the pantry n brought some orange juice. I requested Hindu meal, MEl-AUH no rice only 4 pcs of chicken n some vegetable. Same way AUH-NYK no rice. AUH -Nyk second meal only vegetable.It was horrible"
Nevýhody: "The crew members inside the flight were unfriendly and apparently rude!!!"
Výhody: "good food, good wine, flight on time, large and good choice on films, early boarding. having a free shuttle to and from Dubai is amazing."
Nevýhody: "entertainement not available before take off is very frustrating. it means one hour on board without using our screen. also quite not sure why it stops working 30 mn before landing. many companies make it work throughout all stay on board."
