Taking things away feels worse than if we never had it before. Abu Dhabi Doha and Sharjah are all near and cheaper to dxb and it’s tempting to switch as they offer a comprable service. Also dxb is overcrowded itd a long taxi and walk depending on your gate."

Both directions it seemed that the company approach to beverages was to serve as little as possible, perhaps to keep people out of the bathrooms. But the cabin air was so dry I could barely swallow at times one way drinking only what was provided, but the other way I noticed that my jet lag was greatly reduced when I carried and consumed an extra liter or two above what was provided. At one gate the security crew asked me to dump my water, but I had a small empty bottle with me that I could fill up at the spigot near the bathroom on the plane as needed."

No warmth or empathy. Planes are showing their age, particularly in the seat monitors. Screens have dead zones with inoperative icons. Also, quite a few seats were literally falling apart. But, when you fly to more countries than any other airline, some wear-and-tear is to be expected."

The seat in front of me when reclined left an unusually small space in front of my face. I was very uncomfortable. I'm a small person weighs 145 lb. this was my fourth flight with Turkish Airlines and was the worst. My wife next to me in the middle seat was fortunate that the passenger in front of her did not recline her seat."

Nevýhody: "You need to buy a visa if you want to enter the country and they only accept USD, Euros or GBP. The only currency exchange is on the other side of passport control so you have to use one of the ATMs and they only give you $100. The staff is unprofessional and seems clueless when you ask them for help. The kiosks are a nightmare and working with them is worse than working with the people. They freeze, and glitch and many of them just flat out don't work. Probably one of the worst airports I've ever been to."

Nevýhody: "New US regulations requiring tablets and laptops to be stored in checked baggage were not relayed to me. I booked the trip in February and the new regulations went into effect in March, but I was never notified. When we got to Istanbul from Brussels and made our way to the gate, we had to go through a security checkpoint where I was informed that my tablets would be confiscated and given back to me once we landed. They had a claim area set up next to our baggage claim turn-style to get tablets and laptops back, but it took us 30 mintues to get our tablets (only 5 mintues to get our baggage). Again, I realize they're only doing their jobs and this regulation is new, but the system they put in place for it and their total lack of communication for customers who had already booked trips was awful. Also, at the checkpoint I was told my tablets would be confiscated and my passport had a sticker put on it. I moved down the line where I was told they would take my tablets and the next guy told me I was clear to go. I asked for verification and he ushered me along, so along I went. Then, while sitting in the plane waiting to leave, a group of 5 or 6 people came on board and searched me out, saying they didn't have a record of my tablets being handed over. I told them I was told to move on at the second checkpoint and they gave me a look as though I was lying, but then said it wasn't my fault and made me retrieve them from my bag and hand them over. It wasn't a huge deal, but it sure did make me look like an idiot in front of everyone else on the flight who could see it happen. The whole reason we brought our tablets was to read books on the flight, and a 13 hour flight doesn't exactly go by quickly. I udnerstand they're just doing their job, but they should have sent an update to people on these flights."

Eventually routed via Lisbon which meant literally flying all night to arrive at 0600. Lufthansa and Austrian have some serious faults to correct."

The flight attendants were so happy and upbeat, it lifted your mood as well! I believe that we left a few minutes early, as boarding was completed early. And thefood? Mind-blowing for airplane food. I really enjoyed this flight."

Had to then go to the only counter in the terminal to see if we could get on standby. Finally got on a flight to JFK instead at 5:15pm."

Never took off on time. Always delays flying with Lufthansa. Seems like the planes are getting more and more uncomfortable as well. No room to even stretch out your legs. Pathetic. More likely will book next flight with someone else.
We booked a flight with Lufthansa. Found out when we got to the airport that it was with Eurowings, I would have never booked a long flight with a low cost carrier. They charged for everything: headsets, blankets, anything you normally get on an international flight.
The food is horrible. Even in business class
Food was the most mediocre I have experienced on a transatlantic flight. Crew and staff were superb. Comfort was OK. For the first time ever, my luggage was misplaced between Lufthansa change of flight number and a replacement United flight.
Boarding in Munich is so did organized.

When I called and asked if they would rebook me the lady on the phone said that she could rebook for a trip that had two layovers from 2pm(Prague time) to 8:30pm(NYC time) for the 24th of November (thanksgiving). When I asked her if there was anything else she said that was the soonest flight she could find. When I checked my self I found and booked a flight for the 23rd. When I called back they refused to give me a refund."

With the airport shuttle(CDVAL) to our airport hotel closed, they offered no assistance despite of my request. Simply asked us to take a taxi (when all taxi stands are abandoned at 2AM). Beware if traveling with family."
Nevýhody: "I was catching a flight in Paris to Aberdeen after arriving from Malaga. The time between flights was not enough 55 mins as the gate closed 20 mins before departure and it takes at least 15 minutes from arrival to taxi to the terminal and then get off the plane. I had to change from terminal F to E which was well sign posted but I only made it with 4 minutes to spare"
Nevýhody: "Comfort plus seats need some work. Very thin padding on a hard seat. The leg rest needs to come up higher so you don’t slide down while semi reclined. Nice compromise between business and coach though."

I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

I had to sit on an angle (one butt cheek at a time) for 9 yours. I do not have a big butt either. This seat should have been a discounted seat, not a premium seat. I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again."

They will be hearing from me."

Media center is outdated, touch screen isn’t working well, felt being punched in head every time when ppl behind you tries to touch the screen!"

The folks in Prague couldn't fix this, they moved one ticket to a different exit row, not together, different part of the plane. In Paris, but ONLY after I located my receipt on my phone, they moved us to the seats we had paid for."

Výhody: "I have been Flying Blue platinum for six years in a row. I often wondered why I never got a complimentary upgrade... Well, I can no longer complain: I was very kindly invited to move across that curtain. Of course, in short haul (2-hours+) A321 flights, all seats are created equal, business or main cabin... But the attention was there, excellent service, and gourmet food too. The whole experience was great. I'll go on flying Air France with fewer regrets."
