Výhody: "Turkish Airlines is my favorite airline going to Europe. We even did the 20 hr layover in Istanbul and had a great time staying for a couple of nights going and coming back. Staff is always friendly and the food is amazing. The food in coach is as good as first class on some US domestic flights"
Nevýhody: "It's an airplane, there's not much to make it better besides giving more seat room. TA gives free drinks, a couple of meals, blankets, and the travel bag, only a snobby priss would gripe about flying with them. I've flown enough budget airlines that give you NOTHING that I love flying TA!"

We left the departure gate 30 minutes later than scheduled, after arriving at 0445 am. then we loaded a bus full of people packed together, the bus went 50 meters and stopped. We then sat there, with no air conditioning, no information, for 45 additional minutes. It was extremely uncomfortable. Finally drove another 50 meters to the airplane, and waited some more before finally boarding. Once on board there was another delay of some 20 minutes before we could taxi. All of this meant we arrived quite late in Istanbul and missed all connections."

Výhody: "Paying only half of what other USA airlines offered we had a one stop trip from (IAH) Houston to (TLV) Tel Aviv and were served two meals with offerings of other food if needed. I don't know what was served but it was good yet very different from what we eat in Texas. Then we had a 2 1/2 hour layover in (IST) Istanbul Turkey which gave us plenty of time to get off the plane, shuttle to the terminal gate then walk around the airport for about an hour before heading to the next gate for our connecting flight. The crew was very pleasant and the flight very smooth."
Nevýhody: "The landing in Instanbul Turkey was very poorly done, by far the worst I've ever experienced but the rest of the flight and connecting Turkish Airlines flight to Tel Aviv was great. The seats are very cramped but not much different than any other economy seat I've had on any other USA airline. The price of the ticket more than made up for the seat."

Výhody: "Turkish airlines changed my flight to another airline free of charge and for the same day. The new flight was definitely double the price that I originally paid and got my to my destination a lot faster than I would have if I had been able to take the original flight. Alitalia was a great, direct flight to my final destination."
Nevýhody: "Of course having a cancelled flight is always a negative but the worst part about my experience was that I waited 2 hours in line before being helped to change my flight, and I was only about 8th or 10th in line. They also only had one person to help everyone at the ticket counter until 2 hours later they added another person. In the end everything worked out and everyone was for the most part really nice but that waiting was annoying."

Nevýhody: "I don't why the take-off and landing are late. The boarding started late! the plane stayed on the ground for minutes doing nothing! and in the end the plane arrived half an hour late!"

Výhody: "I booked with Lufthansa, but this was a United flight. I prefer United's boarding process with multiple groups to Lufthansa's single group. Lufthansa's leads to a very very long line 20 minutes before boarding starts."
Nevýhody: "United had fewer movie options, fewer meals, and worse food than the Lufthansa flight we took when we traveled to Frankfurt. It was also delayed two hours due to mechanical issues. I will have to pay more attention when I book next time to avoid United flights."

Nevýhody: "Flight was canceled one hour before departure. There was no explanation except that the crew decided not to fly from Boston to Washington DC. We waited for two hours in a line to get rebooked. We lost our tickets on another flight connecting us to our final destination. Therefore, we had to re-book that flight and incur charges. Lufthansa Considers this consequential loss not responsible for fees incurred. This service is unacceptable and will make us reconsider ever flying this airline again."

Nevýhody: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

Výhody: "at RDU after they missed to notify me in time, they were very nice to find me the fastest route on the next day, not miss my whole conference . They give me food vulture also. most of the flying attendances were really kind under my travel, except on the MUC-IAD plane"
Nevýhody: "They didn't notify me in time on a delay and didn't suggested a different route. Therefore I was able to flew just the following day as my connection to the oversea flight was more then an hour delay. It happened with me flying to Budapest, and also flying back from Budapest. Make you better understand, that does it mean for me: in Budapest I missed the first part of my conference, and with the flying back one day later I lost one payed work day. As I have family in Budapest I decided to stay for the night there, and not at Munich, but just rescheduling my flight and providing me a taxi drive was so complicated, that it took two and half extra hrs at the airport, Also Lufhansa put me in my rescheduled back trip the MUC-IAD flight on the 45C seat, what was the worst seat on the plane. Not just that. When they have plenty of empty seat in all of the section, and they wanted to sell it the economy plus seats for more than hundred dollars, I mentioned to the fight attendance my misery ,and how I don't like the seat what I got, and she laughed on me, and I heard her telling her colleagues,this kind of funny way as they were behind me. That's no how they need to treat passenger, Also on flying back they didn't react fast, and they missed to put me on the Frankfurt plane, what could be an alternative route, on the same day, instead they sent me desk to desk."

Nevýhody: "Boarding at Frankfurt was a nightmare. All the economy class was pushing and shoving and cutting in front of other people. People were standing outside the line and putting their tickets on the entry system and the attendants were doing nothing to stop them or tell them to go to the end of the line. When left from Chicago to Frankfurt they seated you by rows and this was much more efficient. All flights should board by some system vs. just everyone trying to go at once."

Flight to my final destination was cancelled (first it was delayed, but I did not know that untill I got to the gate) I was diverted to other country (by other company), had to pay for hotel and taxi, missed almost two days of my vacation. On my flight back home, they have lost my luggage... hope they will find it. Now I am trying to get refund for cancelled flight, hotel, taxi, food... I will never fly with this company by my own choice any more!!!"

Nevýhody: "The seats are very uncomfortable on Austrian air. The only way I would fly them again would be if I had extra money for the exit rows with more leg room. Food isn't great, but no airline food is really great. Boarding was significantly delayed from what it said on the boarding pass, with no updates. But we arrived on time. Getting luggage after flight at Dulles took a really long time, but I think that is more of an airport issue as getting my luggage from another Austrian airlines flight to another airport was a breeze."

Another disadvantage is that the lounge only opens at 5.30am in the morning but first flight already leave Vienna around 6am. Mine was at 7.05am which meant that I just arrived when the lounge opened and I had to wait in a long cue. Boarding was due to the limited space in front of the gate a mess, priority boarding was announced but I was not made sure that priority passengers board first. The seats on board are for business to small and there is not even space to hag up the coat."

Nevýhody: "I could not pay for check-in baggages when I bough 4 tickets for 4 passengers. So I called the airline customer service, and they told me that the first check-in baggage is free. However, when we boarded the airplane on 9/5/2016, we were charged 30 Euros for each bag, a total of 120 Euros for 4 checked in bags of 4 passengers. This is unfair, and I would like it to be corrected if possible. Thanks."

Why bother about Priority? Plane arrive in NYC 35 min late. Many transit passengers worried about their connecting flights."

Arriving at the airport to check in, I saw options to select seats which made me upset even though there was nothing next to each other but way more options than online."

We rec'd an email from Kayak saying we could check in 36 hrs early - not so. Even at the 24 hr mark, we were unable to check in via Finnair - had to go to British Airways. Finnair was not represented at either airport - British Airways. On the return, British Airways canceled our flight (2 hrs before takeoff), and we could not get a non-stop flight home. This meant that we had to change terminals, retrieve our bags at the layover, recheck, etc. which of course, added 3 hrs to the original length of the trip. Where's our compensation? We paid for a round trip non-stop flight."

Nevýhody: "Trying to get through airport security was an unorganized clown show with them herding groups of passengers back and forth between airport terminals resulting in many people almost missing their flights because the lines just weren't moving. Once on the airplane, the international flight had TVs in the ceiling in the row playing one in-flight movie (what is this 1995?). American is such a terrible airline. The old US airways, Lufthansa, and British Airways, are way better international flights every time I've flown with them. Personal entertainment at your seat for each flight (i thought this was standard on all international flights in the past like 10 years) and more food and drinks throughout the flight."

Cancelled our outgoing flight hours before it was set to leave; notified us via email; barely got re-booked via different airlines and had to take 3 different flights to reach out destination; missed the 2nd flight because LOT put us on a flight that was departing 30 minutes before out 1st flight arrived. 2. When we got another 2nd flight, we arrived at our final destination without our bags. LOT assured us that our bags were on our flight before we boarded but calling and confirming that they were able to transfer our bags (only had 40 minutes between flights), but of course, it was a complete lie. We did not get our bag until the next day in the evening over 24 hours later. At that point I was happy they found them and gave them to us. 3. Turns out, they cancel flights pretty often and they also book people on transfer flights that are too close for people to make it. We traveled with a handful of other passengers that had the same experience and people were in tears about their horrible travel experience. 4. Warsaw Airport - they only have 5 passport control officers clearing travelers and because they don;t have lines or any type of organization of these travelers, the lines our out of control. People are pushing each other, crying because they are missing flights or not feeling well because of no air and all the pushing and shoving. I was pregnant standing in the line for over 40 minutes. They would not let pregnant passengers or passengers with kids with them pass in their disabled line. Only people in the wheelchairs were allowed to pass there. Horrible airport and even more horrible airline! PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF AND DO NOT RUIN YOUR VACATION."

To fix it we have no navigate a series of different agents all of whom had the attitude you'd expect from an ex-communist airline. Pity because onboard staff and planes are ok. Having witnessed this, I did not approach when she said, "Next." She chastised me for this severely. I am hearing impaired and I was not sure what exactly she said, but it was completely inappropriate behavior. And when I have to pay for coffee, I don't expect it to be instant, and weak, and terrible."
