When we finally got to the front of the line the woman said we had to pay for our checked baggage elsewhere and then come back for the boarding passes. Unheard of elsewhere. The people in the office where you pay for checked baggage took their time and chatted and had no sense of urgency. The first woman we spoke to apparently filled out the form incorrectly. We had to rush to get to the plane and we barely made it through long security lines. We almost missed the plane due to the lack of early information and check in, the cumbersome payment process, etc. It was the worst check in process ever."

I was told no other options except to leave the next day. I pulled up many other flights out of Venice that would get me home in time and was told that there simply were no other options. The real explanation was that Swiss didn't want to pay out to get me home in time. I had to pay more money to get back into the city rather than sit in airport for 12 hours."

I could tell it was Hard with the airport closing due to weather but this is an international flight and someone could have done something to help me just navigate the process over the three day period. One woman who I finally talked to in Frankfurt spent an hour with me when i was utterly exhausted and there were No more flights or hotels left She was To be commended. The rest was chaos and exhausting and I still have another flight tomorrow."

So I had to wait for luggage at the end of the flight when I could have easily stored it overhead."

A few more signs in multiple languages at the security checkpoint would have made the line go faster. Same thing at the ticket check-in counter."

Once we reached the plane, the crew should have facilitated an orderly boarding through both doors rather than one. This was also a pretty empty flight and other passengers were utilizing their assigned seat as well as a whole other row and calling it theirs just because they set something on one seat. It didn't seem right that some of us had to stay in our little crowded area while others used up 4 seats and I don't mean for laying down."

After waking at 6 a.m. to catch my flight, I would have preferred plain yogurt with fruit or muesli, or at least a nutritious nutty bar such as the KIND brand. The boarding consisted of everyone standing in a disorganized line next to another long line so that I was not sure if I was in the right place and felt nervous as the time to board drew near. Staff did not seem to be communicating what was happening and were not circulating. I had to ask fellow passengers if I was in the right line and on the right bus. We pushed away from the gate early. This worked against me at the beginning of my vacation when I missed my flight by 5 minutes due to the disorganized nature of the Frankfurt airport and its massive size."

Wish that would have been clear when I purchased the ticket. Also there is no clear info on what the cost is for your bag at what point in the check-in process."

Nevýhody: "Check in at Vienna airport was awful! Chaotic, no help! Kiosk software was horrible. Touch screens didn't work. No back button so, if you made a mistake you had to start from the beginning. Passport reader was not working properly. Machines were slow and delayed in responding. Not enough staff available for assistance. Arrival at LAX was even worse. Plane had to taxi for 30 minutes all about the airport runways. Finally got to a gate -almost on the beach! Then had to bus everyone to main terminal. Slow in getting bags to the passenger pickup. It took us 2 hours post touchdown to get out of the airport! Almost missed the airport shuttle,"

Nevýhody: "As I was flying from London Heathrow back to Vienna, I had a carry-on that was allowed on my flight with Austrian from Vienna to London. My carry-on weighed 8 kg, like is required by the rules. While boarding my flight, the woman at the counter told me my bag had to be checked because there were too many carry-ons on the flight. I asked her that I keep my bag because I had medication in there, and she didn't listen to me at all. She just kept repeating that i have to check my bag, and then took my bag from me and gave it to the baggage crew there. I didn't want to make a huge scene because the flight is only 2 hours and I hoped i Could deal without my medication during that time, but I found it incredibly, incredibly rude and awful to not listen to a passenger."
Nevýhody: "5 hour delay. One staff member said there would be a delay, the second said there was no delay and after a couple hours the delay was confirmed. I was told the flight was full without the attendant even checking, flight was actually not even close to full. Nobody wanted to help and do their job, they just want to send you on your way."

Nevýhody: "The flight attendants did a satisfactory job of distributing meals and snacks only if you were awake during their service round. I was resting on one occasion and missed the snack. I was total ignored when I asked for a serving. The boarding process was disorganized and the flight was delayed about an hour. Seat way too small for transatlantic. I weight 62kg and was sitting in a middle seat. Next time I'll have to get an upgrade."

Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

This was literally done bin by bin by a crew member shouting down the aisle, "Who's is this brown bag? Who has a grey Longchamp!!!???" This is not something I have ever seen before and it took ages. The cabin also became very hot during the layover, which cause a 40 minute delayed arrival in Kinshasa."
