We went straight to security and immediately to the boarding gate but they had closed the gate and would not let us board, even though there was 15 minutes before the flight was due to leave. We were refused a refund and had to move flights to another airport 2 hours away and then had a 5 hour delay. We lost our car reservation as we would arrive too late to collect, we also couldn't check in to our hotel as planned as the hotel only allow check in until 11pm; we would have got there at 1am, so then had to book another hotel for the night. Airport staff at Lufthansa told us they could not help and told us to go away!"

Nevýhody: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

The Munich airport is by far more convenient than Frankfurt when making connections in Germany."

Because the flight was booked through a secondary company, rebooking the outgoing flight ended upp: a) costing me as much as the whole original return flight; b) was no longer a 1 stop flight as I also had to stop in Frankfurt plus the company would not allow me to choose directly, I sent them details and then they booked what they could find; and c) I lost both the outgoing flight ( which was charged) and the return flight ( which was not changed) premium seat bookings both of which I had to pay for a second time. If I had booked directly with the airline this would have cost a transfer fee and I would not have lost the premium seat bookings. This was therefore a great expense and inconvenience. I will no longer book flights indirectly when using kayak. In future I will search using google flights and then go straight to the airline sites to book. Very disappointed. I never had this problem when booking with kayak before"

Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

Once settled in our seats, another 25 minutes went by when the plane did not move. No information's given. I asked a member of the cabin crew what was going on who said she didn't know anything. I then heard her ask (presumably the captain) on the intercom if he could make an announcement as 'passengers were enquiring' We were then informed that we would have a further delay of up to an hour. We eventually took off at 16.00, over two hours after scheduled time. Thank goodness, I had left plenty of time for my connecting train. I was equally unimpressed for different reasons with Jet2.com on the outward flight on 12 July. I will not be flying with them again."

Nevýhody: "The constant talking on the overhead trying to sell something (food, donations, duty free) and then the stewardess didn't make it to the back to hand over landing cards."
Výhody: "- Flight was on time, yet they pad the timetable to make it difficult to be late. - Aircraft was relatively clean considering this was its 4th flight of the day, and the fact it's 29 years old. - More laid back then EZY and FR as they allow a reasonable turnaround time."
Nevýhody: "- Seat assignments don't always make sense, we were split up even though there was an empty row behind us. - Shortly after takeoff passengers moved into the extra legroom seats without paying. - Constant attempt to sell things to you, scratch cards, overpriced drinks etc."

The website did not work well and it ended up booking 2 bags each and charging me for two each. When I arrived at the airport they said I had not checked on online and had to pay extra for checking in at the airport. I asked for a manager who said there was no record of me going online. That was odd because I booked and paid for my bags online the previous day while I was checking in.they said I had to write a letter to get back my extra baggage fees I was charged in error. I doubt I will ever see that money again."

Nevýhody: "Was told five minutes before landing that we would be circling the airport for 20 mins due to runway closure which turned into half an hour. When we landed we had to wait a further 10 - 15 minutes before we could taxi to the airport, so nearly an hour late but no delay."

We then had to go through an arduous process to get handwritten boarding passes in Madrid. This put us at the end of the line for boarding. Then the gate agent refused to let us board because the boarding passes Iberia customer service wrote and stamped didn’t have ticket # on ithem. The gate agent made it clear that it was all on me to go back to the agent at customer service to get it addressed and make it back in-time. The other passenger was my 80 year old mother who a I had to leave unaccompanied at the gate so i’d have some chance of running across the terminal and making it back in-time, which fortunately I did. The complete lack of interest in helping or even acknowledging that this was their mistake is the reason why I will never fly Iberia again."

I will never fly with Iberia again. I would rather pay more and fly with another company. I was very upset about my flying experience."

Their back up reason for needing to check bags was the flight was overbooked and there would be no room for bags, both of which were false as I personally counted at least 15 seats open and there were at least 6-7 completely empty overhead bins. Finally, it is Kayak that notifies me that my flight is delayed 90 minutes, but yet the airline decides it is a good idea to have us board and then just sit on the plane before finally telling us after 30 minutes of sitting on the plane with the flight door still open that we are delayed another hour. I would not fly them again."

I thought she had to be joking, but she wasn't. These people need to get a SERIOUS reality check. It's like going to a restaurant, ordering a filet mignon steak, and then waiter comes out and says "we gave your filet mignon to that person sitting over there, but here's a MacDonalds hamburger for you. And you will still be paying for the filet. Will that be ok?" No. It's not ok. Only an airline would try something like that. This behavior is unacceptable in every other business. Stop doing this now!"

Nevýhody: "Apparently Vueling, Iberia's cheap cousin, saves a middle seat in row 1 and charges more. A lot more! I was pressured in Helsinki into letting Swissair, the contracted boarding agent it seems, fill that seat, 1/2 of which is what you get for paying 'business' in a plane that has all economy seating. There was no logic or ability to board before economy and indeed my boarding pass stated economy. The woman that was added to the oversold seat got intoxicated and was half in my seat. I will never fly this again and it's not worth the stress to fight for some refund but I was taken advantage of with charging me a 300+ euro seat for this joke of a flight in a "better" level of service."

An email came through requiring I add additional information for my two companions within 48 hours or their flight would be cancelled and NO refund. I have the app and requested text notification, whereby nothing came through. The flights were cx and I had to book 2 new ones or fly alone. When calling to dispute, I could only email. The phone number was not international. The email rely denied a refund. I requested to escalate the dispute but Wasnt ever connected to that individual. In Paris, I attempted to reach the claims dept and was told to email them or call customer service but don't speak Spanish so got no where. Out 267$."
