Since I had passed through passport control, I didn't think I would need to go through again just before boarding. I was in line, ready to have my boarding pass scanned when I was told I needed to have my passport checked! I had to step out of line, go back and get my passport checked, then go back in line to board! I could not get an assigned seat until I got to Zurich. I needed an aisle seat (I had a bladder infection and would need to use the toilet often). It was left up to me to negotiate with my neighbor to switch seats--- the crew would not help at all. I was cramped in my seat. The man in front of me put his chair too far back; I was difficult to work on my laptop with so little room between me and the table. The snack was horrible---uncooked, tasteless calzone and ice cream."

Though flight cancelled early, United could not get me home same day so provided hotel and meal. Next day flight scheduled 7:05 then 8 am, but even that time came and went without boarding. 15 hours delayed and no hurry getting the plane to depart at the stated time. Total lack of customer service and concern"

Výhody: "Once again the crew was great and helped me find a place to stow my carry on since I was in the emergency row. The snack was also very tasty."

Nevýhody: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

Výhody: "the gate crew didn't care if there was chaos. no interaction with waiting passengers beyond those that queued up with direct questions. i'd liken the experience to herding cattle. customer service skills haven't been taught to these folks yet. if i were basing my lufthansa experience on this alone, i'd go out of my way to fly another airline next time. on the other hand, the people staffing the flight were extremely kind, professional, pleasant, personable. a much improved experience. so much so that i mentioned it to a few people once i got home. this crew has received more training on how to provide excellent service than the gate folks in frankfurt."

Výhody: "Brand new aircraft, incredibly nice staff, comfortable seats unlike other airlines, at least 50 movies to pick from... Overall it's the best flight I have had (in coach) in the last 12 years."
Nevýhody: "He food could have been better, chicken or pasta also has me cringing at this point."

Výhody: "we were out in the exit aisle so we had more space which was nice but they didn't give us any type of briefing or ask if wwe were able to sit there which was kind of odd."
Nevýhody: "I was really upset to find out at the airline we had to pay baggage fees. They said it wasn't included in the flight and was 30€ per person per trip. What's worse is there were two separate counters so I had to leave baggage to go back to the ticket counter to pay the fee then get back in line to turn on my baggage. I've flown over 50 times and this is bar none the worst service I've ever had."

Nevýhody: "The service and the flight connection which we missed because of the short amount of time in between the 2 flights. They didn't wait for us, as we got told they would, since our first flight was with Iberia. And this flight was late"

Nevýhody: "Was actually RyanAir. Won't be flying them again. The checkin experience was a nightmare. Only had three very long lines. My line closed when I was almost to the front. When I did talk to someone found out I needed to have my passport validated by another Ryanair person and would have to leave the line. The person checking me in couldn't validate my passport, Really?? At every other airline the checkin person validates your passport."

Nevýhody: "I know the saying “you get what you pay for”, but good service from the flight attendants should be expected in the price. It was hard to get a greeting or a smile from them, far from prompt delivery of food or coffee ordered. We were traveling with two kids under 5, but there was no help offered. You are expected to pay for any and all food or drinks, including water. The airline could at least offer free water. The meal quality was mediocre for the price paid, and their stock ran out pretty fast."

Can't say enough about this Argentine rep. Also this was an international flight and they did Not hassle us about the weight of our carry on. Last year Etihad weighed our purses with a bathroom scale at the door of the aircraft. Outrageous. Slowed boarding for over an hour and cost passengers an average of $150 - $320."
Nevýhody: "Food was terrible all around. Didn't pass out water during 11 hour flight and all the "good" movies didn't load."

Nevýhody: "I went jfk to mallorca through Madrid. Upon arrival to Madrid the passport control was 2hrs so we and a lot of other people missed connections. At the Iberia counter we were put on the next flight out to mallorca, that seemed to be no problem (FYI bags will be late and you may too since iBeria ‘must’ keep thee on time global record) , other than our bags came a day later. UPON arriving 20 days later for our return trip they said our return trip was cancelled because of a ‘no show’ on our original inbound trip. They said they had no proof we were on the next flight and asked for our Receipts to prove it. Said we had to buy new tickets, after 2 hrs, crying, yelling and most of Iberia telling us there was nothing they could do (told us to call BA since they were the co share for them) we finally got a high enough supervisor and they put us on the return flights. I’m sure we would have had to buy new tix if the flights were full. Have been overseas many times and this never happened. Will not use a 3rd party online ticket agency again- will go direct to airline, and not Iberia."

Nevýhody: "The airline did not offer any type of refreshments for example water without having to pay for it. I did not expect that. Also I thought the boarding was poorly organized."

Nevýhody: "We get to the runway, wait 10 minutes and go back to the terminal. The captain announces an engine failure. Maintenance inspects the leaking engine, do something and declare it fixed. 2 hours delay and my nerves a bit shaken during take off. We arrived safely."

Výhody: "Missed flight as scheduled changed forward by half an hour and re-organising another flight was difficult. Had to fly from another airport in Spain and transfer was without assistance. Staff did a good job at sorting a solution. The return home on BA was excellent and very efficient."

Nevýhody: "The boarding process was disorganized and took very very long. Thus we left late. The crew wasn't particularly attentive. We were given seats in the last row and couldn't recline at all for the long flight. Since we booked our seats over six or seven months ago this was a disappointment. Because we were in the last row we got the food last. It wasn't particularly tasty. There was no choice in food. They just dropped some beef dish on or trays. The woman ahead was a vegetarian. The flight attendant told her her only option was to eat peanuts. Extra water was never offered. The breakfast sandwich with ham and cheese was inedible. It was cold and tasteless and difficult to chew. I've been on about 30 international flights. This was one of the three worst ever."

Nevýhody: "I paid more to make sure I would have a shorter trip from Tucson to Paris, with only one connection and a less than 2 hour connection in Dallad. Yet, I was in Dallas from 3pm until 8:30pm with my 3 year old who was exhausted and hungry. I guess it was not worth paying more for a short connection."

They did not have room for any of our carry on as we were some of the last to board so they took it at the door of plane. . They managed to put our carry on on a flight to Beijing, not in the plane( that is mind boggling). The seats were uncomfortably tight. Our next flight on a smaller plane was roomier. No warning we needed to download the app to our device for entertainment as you had to pay for inseat tv."

Nevýhody: "Boarded the plane later to be asked to switched planes because of mechanical problems with the first one. After boarding the second 2 hour delayed plane my family and I were asked to step off the plane and go to the front desk because they made the mistake to give several people the same seats. It was horrible, and embarrassing. My family, friends and I will definitely won’t be flying eith United."

Nevýhody: "Tail # N75435 Boeing 737-900 .... not the best bird in the fleet right now. Took nearly half the flight to get internet going, and in-seat power was not working at all."

Nevýhody: "Honestly, I am not a big fan of United right now and their airline policies. The flight was delayed for a hour. But at least I wasn't dragged off the plane or stuck in 95 degree weather for 5 hours."

Forced to check only carry on at gate, citing lack of space, but plenty seen when aboard. Entertainment was limited to one channel if you don't want to pay some amount of money. Couldn't even look at the flight status screen. Stuck with only garbage home renovation show."

Výhody: "When l got to airport I was advised my flight had been canceled. Rerouted on United airlines thru Washington Dulles. Waited on Tarmac 2 1/2 hours due to bad weather, etherwise everything was good."

Unfortunately, when we got to our seats, we realized our seats could not recline because they were in front of the exit row, which is understandable but we wished it would have warned us of that obstacle when we picked out the seats. I am also 5 months pregnant and so we felt that we paid more for what turned out to be a less comfortable flight."
