As for the food, the chicken "wrap" was not a wrap, and was a weird Hot-Pocket type meal. After each meal, we ended up having to hold our garbage for quite some time which made manuvering in and out of seats a little tricky. I wish the seat cushion had a little more cushion since we were sitting for so long. Also at some point the overhead lights came on and stayed on, which was annoying if you were trying to nap."

At no point in the booking process, when I paid over $800 for the trip, was I told that I needed a specific travel visa (Canadian ETA) to fly back into Toronto for my return flight. Subsequently when I checked in for my flight yesterday morning in Manchester, England, I did not have the required travel documents and had to be rerouted onto a flight into the U.S. at a cost to me of $350. The rerouted flight got me to Washington Dulles airport, where I then had to purchase a second flight to get me home to Cleveland, Ohio, at an additional/extra cost of $450. MY CAR IS PARKED AT TORONTO PEARSON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT!!! I am having to now rent a car and drive there tomorrow (Friday) to collect my car, at another additional cost of $100 plus a 10-hour round trip. Due to the lack of information and communication on your companies behalf, I am down close to a $1,000 and will lose 2-days in work as of the additional days I am having to travel back to Toronto to collect my vehicle. I would appreciate contact from your organization to find the avenue I need to take for compensation of my time and finances. Regards"
Nevýhody: "This airline has little respect for its customers. In the economy/coach cabin, they squeeze the seat distances to such an extent that, when the person in front of you leans their chair back, you cannot get out of your seat at an upright angle. You have to significantly bend your body. To not loose your balance, you have to grab on to the seat in front of you and that disturbs the other passenger. If they're sleeping, they can be woken up by that. Lufthansa does not care much for its passengers. Nor do many other companies, for that matter, but I think Lufthansa is taking things further than most airlines. It is a disgrace. Their brand is not what it once was."

The crew ended up gate checking one for me in Frankfurt which was nice. But I would have paid not to carry that dumb thing around with me through the giant Frankfurt airport. Other than the one desk woman in Prague, everything else was good."

The seats were relatively comfortable and the movies onboard were aired and good. I would fly Air Canada again."
Nevýhody: "I disliked the confusion with the code share. I have never flown a code share before an I was under the impression I was flying Lufthansa - not Air Canada. I really disliked not being able to check in online 24 hours before on either Lufthansa's site or Air Canada. That is ridiculous in this day and age - surely the two airlines can coordinate something were the traveller can check in online on one of the sites. Also, as a vegetarian, I wasn't able to select my meal - I had to hope that they had enough vegetarian meals to give me one. This is another problem thanks to the code share. If this is what code sharing is like, I won't be doing it again. No thanks. I'll book directly."

Výhody: "I am not sure where to start from but each lot employee I talk with had poor English and not the tinyest willing to help just to move , I had a flight back from cezh republic to JFK with a stop in Warsaw When I got to the front desk in the air port to print my ticket the Liady ( work at Sation 236 ) was very rude and anti costumer service she print me only my first fly ticket and when I ask why she " I don't know " I said ok so when u get there you know which get I go or where I will print the other ticket she say I don't know Ok and then I ask her can u check if it a room I. My flight from Warsaw to JFK in business it this moment she tell me I can switch sit and ask me to go I was shocked but this was only the bigining when I got to Warsaw I ask in the gate counter where should I go to print my ticket after I try to explain him 10 times what I mean ( he didn't speak English at all ) he told me to go pass the passport check and in gate 21 they will print it to me I fly a lot so I ask him if he sure becuse I am petty sure I will need my ticket the guy at the desk repeat imhim self so I want and waited 25-30 min in the line so the police officer in the passport check will tell me I need to go print my ticket So after the officer from the passport desk call someone he direct me to go to hate 26 and there they will print my ticket I want them and again wait for 15 min to print my ticket ( it was only me this is the sad thing I don't know what tool 15 min to print a ticket ) and it amazing how unsocial and 0 in customer service the lot polish employees I meet And this is without talking about the delay in my coming flight for 2-3 hrs ( a delay it something that happen a lot yes but the way they handled it again 0 in costumer service )"

They charged me twice for the same exact tickets and then would not refund me the entire fare. The deducted $300 to process back the credit. Personnel, at both the airport and in flight, were curt, uncommodating and lacked customer service. On my return flight from Warsaw there was a large, disruptive group with a number of unruly children & airline staff did nothing to address the children running across seats, screaming and wreaking havoc for over 8 hours. Passengers could not sleep & the noise was unbearable."

Nevýhody: "We found out in Poland that my wife was missing an eTA number necessary for her to fly into Canada. With our previous flight delayed, the application did not process in time, and we missed our connecting flight. As a result, we were stuck in Poland for 24 hours, leading to lost sleep, added expense, and much frustration. Customer service in Poland was helpful but extremely slow. Many customers needed help and it took about an hour for each customer. We waited in line for hours. We were not charged for a new flight, but we did spend 10 exhausting hours in the airport before we had everything resolved and were able to leave and get a few hours of sleep."

Nevýhody: "The seats are incredibly cramped, by the end I was feeling seriously claustrophobic. It didn't help that we left late. The boarding process was a mess, nobody seemed to know what to do, and the announcements were all mumbled to the point where I was just guessing what to do. The second meal served was inedible as the bread was completely stale. Also, one of the toilets was broken and kept flushing, even when sitting on it. Like the boarding process, disembarking was sloppy and confusing. It took a very long time to open the door, and they only told people at the last minute that they needed to get their passports out."

Even when I finally got through, no-one could provide me ANY information as to the whereabouts of my bag. It finally showed up on the last day of my stay, but it was delivered to another hotel (which I only figured out after about 10 phone calls). Also, they offer perhaps the worst in-flight video selection I have ever seen."

If they knew he was in such rough shape, why allow him to fly and why allow his behavior towards them or me? The food was gross!"

Nevýhody: "I did not like having to pay 75 Euro for one checked bag. That should Have been more clearly set out when booking a flight. The entertainment could have been better. Poor reception for some shows."
Nevýhody: "1) An extra piece of baggage, using the iPhone TAP, was priced at EUR 65; but, finalizing the purchase, the app tried to charge me EUR 140! Had to go to LIS airport to buy at the right price. 2) Had to pay for my free of charge seats!!!! They changed 4 times!!! a) Having tickets with seat assignments free of charge, had the chosen seats confirmed on e-ticket. b) At airport, 3 days before departure, attendant informed that seats assignment had been erased; she made new seat assignments at worse location; c) On check-in, found that seats were changed again to worse even; now to the back, and “2 in the middle of 4”. d) Had to pay to get my original free of charge seat assignments!!! Had similar situations in all my recent TAP flights. Cannot believe is a system problem! Looks like more a TAP policy to short-change (long time, in my case) customers."

It had a link to pay for 'additional services' but not luggage. At the time of booking, I checked and the price given was $35. So, I have protested the additional $55 with my CC company and will see what happens. BTW the luggage was not overweight. They turned off all the lights, including my personal reading lamp, so I could not read and had to just sit there doing nothing. That really blew big chunks. I only got two small glasses of wine."
Nevýhody: "TAP seems to have trouble landing at its own global hub. Three hours wasted in Porto before the traffic over LIS had cleared up. First time TAP, last time TAP."

Výhody: "I love flying TAP because I love having extended layovers in Lisbon. Lisbon itself, including the airport, is easy to navigate. The food is great and the culture and architecture is gorgeous. For shorter trips TAP doesn't have as many amenities as other airlines, but on this trip the typical video screens with movies, music, etc. was available."
Nevýhody: "In this particular flight there was a male airline attendant who was fabulous and who could speak many languages, including German. I noticed the other airline attendants seemed to be giving him a really hard time and weren't friendly at all. In fact, I rang a bell to ask for attendant help at one point and no one came to help. I was just a seat back from the area where the helpful airline attendant was available. I think that overall TAP flight staff could be a bit more open to being friendly. However, on the ground in Lisbon I've found the staff to be amazingly helpful."
Nevýhody: "Me and my girlfriend were seated in the middle in a 4 seat combination. I asked the crew member to move us on an aisle seat. Even though there were plenty of aisle seats open, the crew member just kinda ignored us. The old lady sitting next to me just slept the whole time and I could not get out to the bathroom. Also since I am left handed I could not really eat since with the right-handed old lady we were hitting each other's elbow and nocking each the food out of each other's hand, I finally pulled my elbow in and ate like a T-Rex. The person in front of me pushed their seat back all the way, I asked the crew member to do something but nothing really was done, since I am a little taller I could not fit my knees, they were crushed."
Výhody: "The head stewardess was so helpful and nice! I was traveling alone with a 3-month-old baby and was very stressed out. The head stewardess helped me so much, gave me a more comfortable seat, a private place to breastfeed and a bassinet for the baby! She was amazing and I owe her so much for making my experience better. I also received a baby gift package that had a much needed pacifier clip! The flight was also the smoothest flight I've ever had across the Atlantic!"

We had to get another passenger to do that for us. Ultimately the light bulb had to be removed from the fixture. During the flight, we asked for more refreshments and were told we could only have water by a flight attendant. Upon arrival at our destination with a child in hand, our stroller was not unloaded at the gate so we had to carry our child and all that travels with him to the baggage area. For anyone travelling internationally, you will know this is generally quite a distant from the gate in major airports. The strollers and car seats arrived in baggage 30 minutes after the main luggage. When staff were approached they were short and appeared very disinterested in helping. TAP failed on this flight home."

The ground crew also let others on with larger bags so they dont even apply their policy in a consistent manner. I will do my best to avoid TAP from now on."

We walked and walked and there were no bathrooms, walked through all these high end shops and no bathroom available til you got to the baggage area."
Nevýhody: "Really bad service from flight staff, they seemed totally disinterested. Menu distributed in business class was impressive, but once it was my turn to choose only one option remained. Odd it seems they had a lot of the cheaper ones, plenty of pasta, but very few servings of the other options."
Nevýhody: "It must have been the cheapest version of the Boeing 777. The seats were small and the entertainment system was terrible with limited selections. Food and beverage service was slow."

Nevýhody: "Way too many lines. My passport was checked no less than 10 times from Barcelkne to Lisbon and in Boston. I was also "selected" at each airport "randomly" to check in more detail. I love security but some of these lines served no recognizable purpose. In Boston a guy is being paid to collect electronic copies of the passports. We had to wait in line to hand this guy papers he did. It review, or do anything with. Why did the customs guy not take that paperwork, eliminating a line and paying some guy to collect passport photos????"

This plane had the two prong headphone connectors so you are forced to use their terrible plastic ones. The legroom for an international flight was terrible, almost the same as Spirit Airlines in their economy class. The food was very bad (dried beef with noodle) and cold by the time I was served."

And unfortunately we got a "window seat" that did not have a window. It was very disappointing."
