They were doing some sort of passport control and only had 1 person for all of economy. It took forever and seemed unnecessary since we all had our documents checked when we were at the check in counter.

If you want to do it for security reason do it ( I want to be safe) but don’t do it for the check mark , it doesn’t make any sense and doesn’t protect us."
Nevýhody: "If I were a small person I would have been almost comfortable the seats were so narrow with no leg room so that trying to find a place for myself was laughable, unfortunately not the funny laughable. There is not a chance that I will ever again book an international flight on Swiss. I hope you share this with the airline."
Nevýhody: "While I was on line to board, a flight assistant came to me and asked me if I was flying by myself. When I said yes. they upgraded me to business class. I boarded the plane and took my seat. Shortly before taking off, another flight attendant came to me, told me they made a mistake, and sent me back to my original economy seat (while I was holding my new business boarding pass that they gave me). When I told them they should remedy somehow their mistake, they said they did not have any other extra seat in business and that there was nothing they could do. They did not apologize. They were quite unprofessional and rude. I fly often and I have never experienced something so unprofessional and rude. Alitalia is far better than Swissair in terms of professionalism and of politeness. I will always discourage anyone from flying Swissair. Worst company ever."

I had to step out of line, go back and get my passport checked, then go back in line to board! I could not get an assigned seat until I got to Zurich. I needed an aisle seat (I had a bladder infection and would need to use the toilet often). It was left up to me to negotiate with my neighbor to switch seats--- the crew would not help at all. I was cramped in my seat. The man in front of me put his chair too far back; I was difficult to work on my laptop with so little room between me and the table. The snack was horrible---uncooked, tasteless calzone and ice cream."

My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

In Paris, but ONLY after I located my receipt on my phone, they moved us to the seats we had paid for."

My wife and I did not get food. There was no chicken left and we can’t eat pork so we didn’t get food. Crew member didn’t ask ask first but left the pork in our table and after I asked him what it was told that was only pork left I asked him to take back. The only thing we can’t eat is pork and that was the only option. I was shocked for a long flight not to have enough food. Crew member never came back to let us that there is no other food available. After we asked and other crew member he checked and confirmed there is no other food. He offered to share his own meal with my wife and I but we refused but we appreciated that. I hope I never have an other experience like that. It wasn’t a good experience. :(
I am seeking a refund from Kayak as LOT refuses to acknowledge the booking when not done directly from their site. Worst experience with an airline ever.

My flight from Warsaw to JFK in business it this moment she tell me I can switch sit and ask me to go I was shocked but this was only the bigining when I got to Warsaw I ask in the gate counter where should I go to print my ticket after I try to explain him 10 times what I mean ( he didn't speak English at all ) he told me to go pass the passport check and in gate 21 they will print it to me I fly a lot so I ask him if he sure becuse I am petty sure I will need my ticket the guy at the desk repeat imhim self so I want and waited 25-30 min in the line so the police officer in the passport check will tell me I need to go print my ticket So after the officer from the passport desk call someone he direct me to go to hate 26 and there they will print my ticket I want them and again wait for 15 min to print my ticket ( it was only me this is the sad thing I don't know what tool 15 min to print a ticket ) and it amazing how unsocial and 0 in customer service the lot polish employees I meet And this is without talking about the delay in my coming flight for 2-3 hrs ( a delay it something that happen a lot yes but the way they handled it again 0 in costumer service )"

Nevýhody: "I travel internationally regularly on business. Lot Airlines was hands down the worst airline I have ever flown with. They charged me twice for the same exact tickets and then would not refund me the entire fare. The deducted $300 to process back the credit. Personnel, at both the airport and in flight, were curt, uncommodating and lacked customer service. On my return flight from Warsaw there was a large, disruptive group with a number of unruly children & airline staff did nothing to address the children running across seats, screaming and wreaking havoc for over 8 hours. Passengers could not sleep & the noise was unbearable."

Výhody: "The actual flight was fine. The food was decent. The entertainment selection was good. The flight attendants were pleasant. We got plenty to eat and drink."
Nevýhody: "We found out in Poland that my wife was missing an eTA number necessary for her to fly into Canada. With our previous flight delayed, the application did not process in time, and we missed our connecting flight. As a result, we were stuck in Poland for 24 hours, leading to lost sleep, added expense, and much frustration. Customer service in Poland was helpful but extremely slow. Many customers needed help and it took about an hour for each customer. We waited in line for hours. We were not charged for a new flight, but we did spend 10 exhausting hours in the airport before we had everything resolved and were able to leave and get a few hours of sleep."

Nevýhody: "There is less leg room than on other international carriers. I am tall and found it quite uncomfortable. I was also surprised by how bad the food was - worst airline food I have ever had on both trips. Sadly, also the most unfriendly air crew as well. Also, unlike international flights with Air Canada, you have to pay for alcohol (though the prices are pretty good)."
Výhody: "The entertainment on the plane was great. Large selection of movies, music, and TV shows to keep yourself entertained. The dinner was adequate. It was also nice having the overhead screens continually update our flight progress."
Nevýhody: "The seats are incredibly cramped, by the end I was feeling seriously claustrophobic. It didn't help that we left late. The boarding process was a mess, nobody seemed to know what to do, and the announcements were all mumbled to the point where I was just guessing what to do. The second meal served was inedible as the bread was completely stale. Also, one of the toilets was broken and kept flushing, even when sitting on it. Like the boarding process, disembarking was sloppy and confusing. It took a very long time to open the door, and they only told people at the last minute that they needed to get their passports out."

Výhody: "The 787 Dreamliner was nice, and the business class seats are roomy. And the ticket was priced right!"
Nevýhody: "They lost my luggage in the outbound direction and no-one appeared to care. When I called the number that they provided frequently no-one answered. Even when I finally got through, no-one could provide me ANY information as to the whereabouts of my bag. It finally showed up on the last day of my stay, but it was delivered to another hotel (which I only figured out after about 10 phone calls). Also, they offer perhaps the worst in-flight video selection I have ever seen."
Výhody: "Complementary headphones, drinks, and snacks. I flew economy as as a 6'3" guy I was generally comfortable -- though I would recommend you sit in the aisle seat. Food wasn't the worst."

Výhody: "Cancelled 30 minute flight up to Vancouver which reaulted in missed flight to Australia. Air Canada the refused to put us on another flight. Went round and round for 5 hours with Air Canada until they finally put us on 3 separate flights getting to our deatination almost 48 hours late.Horrible"
Nevýhody: "Notify passengers if short flight has more than 20% chance of being cancelled. We could have easily driven to Vancouver. If flight is cancelled, then own up to it and put people on next flight."
Výhody: "There was a particularly great flight attendant. I wish I got her name but she was really helpful and pleasant."

I made it to my final destination 24 hours later than original itinerary, almost all of which was spent in airport lines. My bag didn't arrive until 5 days later...on the wrong porch."

Nevýhody: "There's only one choice for refreshments, unless you count the cracker-amd-nuts machine. The seats are terrible. The assumption seems to be that no one waits long, but the experience proves the opposite, as wind, construction, security clearance for flight crews and who knows what else (any excuse will do) creates delays of more than an hour for people who end up standing along the walls and sitting on the floor waiting. Again, crews and ground staff for AC are not able to give accurate instructions or guidance for boarding flights. That airport is a mess."
Výhody: "I liked having Nexus get me through air Canada's malfunctioning Website to airport chaotic check-in otherwise may have missed my flight! Actual flight was smooth,quick and comfortable. Flight attendants were friendly and helpful. Airplane interior open and bright. Bathrooms clean and well supplied."
Nevýhody: "Customer's time is valuable too! Air Canada website check-in malfunctioning causes anger, frustration and chaos at home and continues through airport check-in. HUNDREDS of angry, frustrated customers paid for their tickets, tried to check-in online and arrived early all converged into one CHAOTIC crowd. ADDRESS these issues, FIX YOUR WEBSITE, TREAT YOUR HARDWORKING, PAYING CUSTOMERS with DIGNITY and RESPECT they DESERVE. Competing Airlines are waiting for your dissatisfied customers."

Výhody: "The van that waited to quickly take us to customs and then to the gate to escort us to our connecting flight (which had been held for us) was incredibly welcome and helpful. I am grateful for that consideration and effort made on our behalf. The flight staff was excellent. Everything seemed to go very smoothly. I really liked the built in screens (& headphones) and entertainment programming made available to us."
Nevýhody: "The food was tasty, but portions were a bit small, particularly in the main meal."

Announcements were difficult to hear in the terminal; there was a step requiring all passengers to queue up as if boarding but instead it was a passport/boarding pass check. The two queues were not labeled, there was much line-switching, and the passport-check lines blocked the terminal for travelers for other flights... The incoming plane was late; we wondered why this passport check could not have proceeded while we waited instead of delaying our boarding once our plane arrived."
Nevýhody: "I've never been on a transatlantic flight that didn't offer a drink with dinner. Plus, not having a TV screen for passenger's entertainment is out dated. Time to upgrade these planes, or don't use them for long haul flights"

Nevýhody: "I find the Air Canada flights between Toronto and Newark are frequently delayed."
Výhody: "They were quick to bring meals and snacks. Friendly and accommodating flight crew."
Nevýhody: "For a 9 hour flight, I would have preferred a heads up that there is no in-flight entertainment and you need to have a charged device of your own with the Air Canada app pre-installed. And if you didn't get that memo and you have an Apple device, you're out of luck. Otherwise you can rent an iPad for $10. The chairs were thin and flimsy making it difficult to sleep. And unfortunately we got a "window seat" that did not have a window. It was very disappointing."

Filthy bathrooms on plane Typical bad airline food; couldn't even break apart dinner roll it was so rubbery. No individual movie screens, had to use your own mobile device and earphones or pay $10 to use an ipad provided by the plane to access in-flight network. Overall very disappointing service. Expected much more from Air Canada."
Výhody: "Flight attendants were polite and helpful. The plane was clean. It was a comfortable flight, though the food was okay."

Výhody: "The commuter terminal in Toronto is a bit of a pit. Basically a glorified hallway, which gets pretty chaotic while you are waiting for your flight, and others are queuing up. For anyone with mobility challenges it is a long hike from the main terminal."
Výhody: "The flight crew was pleasant and helpful, providing water throughout the flight."
Nevýhody: "AirCanada did not schedule a long enough connection in Montreal. Procedures were not explained well, either. I had to run to my gate to make my connection because it took over an hour for my checked luggage to be approved so that I could go through Customs. I was not the only person who experienced this problem. Several people on my flight missed their connection, and several still waiting when I left were in danger of missing their connection. I have flown on other airlines through other cities internationally and never experienced this type of issue."
Nevýhody: "Lost bag. Took two days to return. Very bad customer service while trying to recover."

Výhody: "The staff offered a hotel and voucher for for 24hr delay but I was still unable to make up for lost travel time."
Nevýhody: "I missed my connecting flight to Dublin because the plane was delayed nearly three hours. I received a new ticket for 24hours after my oringial connecting flight. When I arrived in Dublin my baggage had been placed on the wrong flight."
Výhody: "We had a pretty uneventful flight from Tampa to Toronto using Air Canada. That is a good thing. The airline offers complementary juices and drinks of the nonalcoholic variety. No complaints."
Výhody: "The Boeing airplane was either new or upgraded with plenty of in flight entertainment. In addition it was clean and fresh. The seats seemed to have more legroom than some I have flown. I could actually use my notebook on the tray stand. I was traveling on the same plane with my wife but we could only get separate seats. I decided to ask before boarding if they could put us together for such a long flight and they took my boarding pass and actually tried. The lady I checked in with was extremely gracious. She passed our info along to the head attendant on the flight who came and found us and told us she had found seats together. We had already done some seat switching with the kind people around us and managed to get together. The head attendant was happy for us."
Nevýhody: "Long flight, when we got close to Tel Aviv, a guy attendant who wasn't on my side yelled at me from the other ailse and scolded me for not being locked in 30 minutes ahead of time and threatened to write me up. He was red faced. The head flight attendant made a call over the intercom, I jumped up and started stowing my computer and he comes by 30 seconds later and literally yelled across the plane. He must have had to clean a bathroom up that someone let loose in. I looked on the flight time register on the screen when I was locked in and we were 35 minutes out. Not quite a rule breaker was I."
Výhody: "Fast & efficient"
Nevýhody: "Crew was strangely inflexible about rules that I had not encountered before- being only in ticketed seat until at altitude (the flight was very empty), only specific headphones during takeoff & ascent, no headphones or electronic devices at all during final descent and landing."
Výhody: "It was part of Star Alliance (although they should be ashamed to claim it.)"
Nevýhody: "Air Canada SQUEEZES 10 seats across on this 777 (I've never had more than 9 on any other airline) and it is very cramped and uncomfortable (you'd better like your seat mates because you will be rubbing elbows and shoulders with them for many hours, especially on this 12 hour flight. They have very little leg room as well. This is the most miserable long haul airplane I have ever flown on, and I fly a lot. Discount airline planes are more comfortable than this one. It was over an hour after we had our meal until they got around to picking up our trays."
