When I did the check in in Prague and got my boarding pass the told me that the system picked me to have the additional random checkup at Zurich airport. Its ok. If it’s done for security reason why to tell the people ahead of time that they will have additional checkup of bags and personal stuff. If you want to do it for security reason do it ( I want to be safe) but don’t do it for the check mark , it doesn’t make any sense and doesn’t protect us."

Nevýhody: "While I was on line to board, a flight assistant came to me and asked me if I was flying by myself. When I said yes. they upgraded me to business class. I boarded the plane and took my seat. Shortly before taking off, another flight attendant came to me, told me they made a mistake, and sent me back to my original economy seat (while I was holding my new business boarding pass that they gave me). When I told them they should remedy somehow their mistake, they said they did not have any other extra seat in business and that there was nothing they could do. They did not apologize. They were quite unprofessional and rude. I fly often and I have never experienced something so unprofessional and rude. Alitalia is far better than Swissair in terms of professionalism and of politeness. I will always discourage anyone from flying Swissair. Worst company ever."

Since I had passed through passport control, I didn't think I would need to go through again just before boarding. I was in line, ready to have my boarding pass scanned when I was told I needed to have my passport checked! I had to step out of line, go back and get my passport checked, then go back in line to board! I could not get an assigned seat until I got to Zurich. I needed an aisle seat (I had a bladder infection and would need to use the toilet often). It was left up to me to negotiate with my neighbor to switch seats--- the crew would not help at all. I was cramped in my seat. The man in front of me put his chair too far back; I was difficult to work on my laptop with so little room between me and the table. The snack was horrible---uncooked, tasteless calzone and ice cream."

Had I known that I have to come out of the airport, I would not have bought this ticket. Hopefully same ordeal is not repeated while returning from Zurich to Los Angeles via Montreal on June 30, 2016. There was a long queque at Montreal to board the place as it was not organized in zone wise."

Even shorter legroom than domestic flights!!! Food was bad... the main cabin was HOT why the business class was freezing :(

Customer service

Missed this flight due to previous flight being delayed. No one helped with getting me through customs and borders security so I can make it on time. I had to stand in the longest line and end up staying overnight in Toronto. Now the airlines won’t pay for my hotel accommodation

Overall VERY impressed. Food was absolutely top notch, service was good. We transferred in Istanbul and this is a gorgeous airport. It's a bit far from the city but everything else was great. Turkish Airlines Airlines put us up on a hotel since we had a long layover. Very impressed and would certainly look forward to another flight with them. 10/10 and the price was right

Nevýhody: "These comments probably reflect the Tbilisi ground service crew rather than the airline, but I cannot be certain. We left the departure gate 30 minutes later than scheduled, after arriving at 0445 am. then we loaded a bus full of people packed together, the bus went 50 meters and stopped. We then sat there, with no air conditioning, no information, for 45 additional minutes. It was extremely uncomfortable. Finally drove another 50 meters to the airplane, and waited some more before finally boarding. Once on board there was another delay of some 20 minutes before we could taxi. All of this meant we arrived quite late in Istanbul and missed all connections."

Nevýhody: "You need to buy a visa if you want to enter the country and they only accept USD, Euros or GBP. The only currency exchange is on the other side of passport control so you have to use one of the ATMs and they only give you $100. The staff is unprofessional and seems clueless when you ask them for help. The kiosks are a nightmare and working with them is worse than working with the people. They freeze, and glitch and many of them just flat out don't work. Probably one of the worst airports I've ever been to."

Nevýhody: "There were a few small things that could have been better (Which I'll mention), but the worst thing about the flight was the airport. Ataturk Airport is a mess. After the attempted coup, they really upped security, forcing all international flights to go through a second security screening after transferring from another airport. It's understandable but the line moved at a molasses-like speed when I had only 25 minutes to make my connecting flight. The security personnel were rude, as well. Also, when I went to make my connecting gate in Cairo, there was no one at the gate after the required boarding time (Because security had held us up), forcing some of us to board the plane without having anyone to show us onto the plane (Very scary). The flight boarding was chaotic, and no announcements were made about what we were supposed to do. Besides the lack of boarding gates, the only other serious complaint I had against Turkish Airlines (Because it really was great overall) was that the pilots and flight attendants were very hard to understand. I have taught ESL for the past 5 years, and I still had a hard time as an American understanding their English. Also, they frequently didn't understand or misunderstood questions that I would ask them. I've never had a hard time understanding flight attendants on an international flight, but I only understood about 20% of what anyone said over the loud speaker in the plane. And it's nice to be able to understand when the pilot says, "We are experiencing some turbulence and would like everyone to buckle their seatbelts until it passes." Two small things remain: 1. The bathroom trash cans were full on every flight (A small thing but makes everything feel "trashy"). 2. The flight attendants seemed unhappy, and they definitely seemed unhappy to be serving us. I can only assume they are that way because they aren't treated particularly well by their bosses."

They put us through security where we were stuck with no available restrooms for nearly 2 hrs before our flight. There was no reason for the rush, and there really should have been bathrooms for us."

Delay, delay, delay

Flight did not depart due to the weather! Was a stuff around plus the aircraft did not have enough fuel

Beware of Delta staff at Mexico City International Airport, actually be cautious with most of the staff OF THE AIRPORT, NOT THE VENDORS. Delta staff check-in particularly are not only rude, but also despicable. Because technically the law is on their side and it is, as in America, federal Mexican property, well, turns out that at the first hesitation from the customer Delta (or any airline at this airport, from my experience) staff actually will call federal and National Army (you know that they don't have anymore civil police at the Federal level in MX) on you. Almost a year ago, one of Delta staff physically attacked my brother after AEROMEXICO, Delta Skypartner, did something wrong with their reservation. Anyway, watch out.

Another good flight newer plane therefore better seats. The landing was excellent!

Once you finally get your sticker from them it’s a quick trip through customs. Then the pain really begins with a security scan st each individual gate to enter a boarding area for the plane. Then I was pulled for extra security where a male agent touched my but with some sort of swab with no warning. He then claimed to not speak English (with zero accent when I asked him a question). It was a humiliating and very long process all run by delta!"

The flight staff even accommodated the requests of a particularly nasty Russian family seated behind me even though they were total jerks. I was very impressed with their professionalism."

Left us to take day earlier and we could not changed last flight( Toronto- Thunder Bay). We had to come on Aug 22. and stay in Toronto for 27 hours and than take a flight to Thunder Bay on Aug 23. We lost a day of our vacation, had to stay at hotel. Not good experience at all. We still don’t know whom to complain about that."

Second meal they brought him a snack from business class, but it had cream cheese on the sandwich. Drinks were only served during the meals on an 8 hour flight. When crew came back through at the first meal, they only had two bottles of wine in hand offering top offs (no cart, just physically carrying the bottles). We do not drink alcohol. During the second meal I did not even see them offering the top offs. All other airlines have at least come through a couple of times offering water or soda. Announcements were only audible half the time. Customs forms were confusing for people passing through Canada. This might have been explained over the intercom, but again, it was hard to hear."

As for the food, the chicken "wrap" was not a wrap, and was a weird Hot-Pocket type meal. After each meal, we ended up having to hold our garbage for quite some time which made manuvering in and out of seats a little tricky. I wish the seat cushion had a little more cushion since we were sitting for so long. Also at some point the overhead lights came on and stayed on, which was annoying if you were trying to nap."

Subsequently when I checked in for my flight yesterday morning in Manchester, England, I did not have the required travel documents and had to be rerouted onto a flight into the U.S. at a cost to me of $350. The rerouted flight got me to Washington Dulles airport, where I then had to purchase a second flight to get me home to Cleveland, Ohio, at an additional/extra cost of $450. MY CAR IS PARKED AT TORONTO PEARSON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT!!! I am having to now rent a car and drive there tomorrow (Friday) to collect my car, at another additional cost of $100 plus a 10-hour round trip. Due to the lack of information and communication on your companies behalf, I am down close to a $1,000 and will lose 2-days in work as of the additional days I am having to travel back to Toronto to collect my vehicle. I would appreciate contact from your organization to find the avenue I need to take for compensation of my time and finances. Regards"
Nevýhody: "This airline has little respect for its customers. In the economy/coach cabin, they squeeze the seat distances to such an extent that, when the person in front of you leans their chair back, you cannot get out of your seat at an upright angle. You have to significantly bend your body. To not loose your balance, you have to grab on to the seat in front of you and that disturbs the other passenger. If they're sleeping, they can be woken up by that. Lufthansa does not care much for its passengers. Nor do many other companies, for that matter, but I think Lufthansa is taking things further than most airlines. It is a disgrace. Their brand is not what it once was."

When I asked her if there was anything else she said that was the soonest flight she could find. When I checked my self I found and booked a flight for the 23rd. When I called back they refused to give me a refund."

Once aboard, the Lufthansa planes were much much less comfortable than the Air Canada plane I took to Frankfurt. There is very little space and the seats are crammed together. The food they served was very bad, especially again in comparison with Air Canada. Once we arrived in Toronto, they made us wait nearly an hour before exiting the aircraft. It would seem that the Toronto airport would have to know we were coming and should have prepared accordingly, but apparently not. We sat, several passengers missed their connecting flights and were angry. I nearly missed my flight, having to run and race through customs (who are in no hurry)."

The crew ended up gate checking one for me in Frankfurt which was nice. But I would have paid not to carry that dumb thing around with me through the giant Frankfurt airport. Other than the one desk woman in Prague, everything else was good."

I really disliked not being able to check in online 24 hours before on either Lufthansa's site or Air Canada. That is ridiculous in this day and age - surely the two airlines can coordinate something were the traveller can check in online on one of the sites. Also, as a vegetarian, I wasn't able to select my meal - I had to hope that they had enough vegetarian meals to give me one. This is another problem thanks to the code share. If this is what code sharing is like, I won't be doing it again. No thanks. I'll book directly."
