We even got charged for one piece of checked luggage 46lb on a international flight. That was a first!!!"

Totally unhelpful ground staff, who were oblivious to the fact that I had a work commitment the next day so couldn’t overnight in some random hotel at an airport to suit Austrian’s policies. Eventually routed via Lisbon which meant literally flying all night to arrive at 0600. Lufthansa and Austrian have some serious faults to correct."

Nevýhody: "KAYAK or Austrian cancelled my ticket. KAYAK officials didn’t show any readiness to do anything about a ticket that was purchased and paid for. KAYAK system is still sending me questions how was my trip! Ironically? Additionally, I had to book another ticket to get close to my destination, book a midnight Taxi to another country."

Nevýhody: "Kayak sent me an email at 5:16am for an 8:15 am flight titled, "Austrian Airlines flight #704 from PRG on time". It was in fact cancelled. Unfortunately we missed the connection for the flight to Newark, which we were expressly told would be held for us... they shut the door 30 seconds before we arrived, with the plane still at the gate. Had to then go to the only counter in the terminal to see if we could get on standby. Finally got on a flight to JFK instead at 5:15pm."

Nevýhody: "Designs of Business Class seatings need some improvement. It seemed there was waste of useful space. Therefore, the area for Business Class seating was big but there were not enough space for everything."

I check it on the original receipt I received by e-mail, there is ECONOMY CLASS and 1st baggage free of charge, another for a fee. So I do not understand and for two tickets I have paid 2 x 30 €."

I inquired about paying to change destination city and or seat to a premium seat (for the 9+ hour flight) when I recvd the reservations for the new flights that were made at the airport around 8am for flights that left at around noon and 3pm. I was told no better seat(s) was available. However, a half hour before the flight was boarded several announcements were made regarding all the upgrades that were available. Liars annoy me."

I am still in Riga waiting for the morning to schedule another ride home. Very long , inconvenient trip ;-("

Nevýhody: "The flight was 1 1/2 hrs late!!!! This seems to be a regular pattern from what I understand from others who have travelled the same itinerary. Not good if this becomes your reputation. The crew was not very attentive during good service. It was more of a routine / rush job rather than making sure that everybody was served and got what they needed ( had to ask for my dinner as my row was skipped and was never offered coffee before landing). The crew seemed rather young and inexperienced. The food was below average!!!! Especially the chicken patty before landing - seriously!!!!! Why not include a little bit of Finnish / Scandinavian cuisine to emphasize the Finnair brand!!! Entertainment was also below average. There needs to be more variety - especially for the TV selection, which had only 2 options!!! No music and no games?? Also, it would be nice to have access to a flight map. Too few accessible WCs"

Since the plane was a 747 and there were stronger than average headwinds, we had to stop in Bangot to refuel. Net result: 2 3/4 hr late arrival."

Výhody: "This flight was co-shared by British airways. After our horrible flight from San Diego to London, we decided to upgrade our returning flight from London to San Diego to a economy plus premier. This time the plane seems newer and recently refurbished. The seat can recline more, with lump bar support and nice foot/leg rest. It has a bit more legroom. The cabin is nice and new with large view touchscreen TV for each seat. Gluten free meal was good, I'm just glad they finally boarded the plane with my GF meal (after repeated unsuccessful attempts). The service was great, our BA attendants were polite and attentive."

Nevýhody: "not enough leg room. and i have to point out that I am a petite 110 lbs, 5'2" woman. as soon as the person in front of me reclined their seat to either sleep or lounge, I had my food tray on my chest and the small tv screen 8 inches away from my nose. Thankfully Im small but the man sitting next to me was rather tall and had to turn into a human pretzel to fit in that seat and space allotted."

Nevýhody: "I want to seriously complain about Air Canada and Kayak booking systems. I reserved the tickets to Shanghai but there were no place reminding me that I need Canadian VISA to connect flights between two Canadian cities. I am a Chinese citizen who is working at USA and not allowed to change flights in Canada based on the newest government rules. However, in both booking systems, there is no reminders. In my opinion, either Kayak or Air Canada can add a simple checkbox to let the potential guest choose his or her nationality status, then this kind of trouble can be mitigated. We talked and called Air Canada people but no buying. They kept saying this is our responsibility. We bought United Airline tickets at the last minutes and cost us about $2,400 because we cannot wait to get back China to prepare our wedding ceremony and US Visa interview. We are very very disappointed with Air Canada and will keep complaining about this issue. As a service supplier, how cannot you think on behalf of a customer? The air company definitely knows more about government rules than a customer. We did have mistakes of not researching government rules. However, the biggest mistake was we trusted Air Canada and Kayak who we thought had taken care of those kind of issues for us. Thanks."

Výhody: "Service before boarding was excellent. Checking in as long as the boarding time was efficient and fast. In flight service was okay, flight crew was helpful and friendly. The selection of entertainment was excellent. Good international films, in addition to the monocles 24 hours radio station. However, the food was mediocre, there was not enough food for a flight of 11 hours."

The basmati rice had the consistency of oatmeal. The first meal was tasteless and the second meal had too much hot spice, but still no flavour. The bread they gave with the meal was tiny and tasteless compared to the lovely ciabatta rolls served with the regular meals."

Nevýhody: "I've never been on a transatlantic flight that didn't offer a drink with dinner. Plus, not having a TV screen for passenger's entertainment is out dated. Time to upgrade these planes, or don't use them for long haul flights"

Výhody: "The crew was especially friendly and helpful."

Výhody: "They were quick to bring meals and snacks. Friendly and accommodating flight crew."
Nevýhody: "For a 9 hour flight, I would have preferred a heads up that there is no in-flight entertainment and you need to have a charged device of your own with the Air Canada app pre-installed. And if you didn't get that memo and you have an Apple device, you're out of luck. Otherwise you can rent an iPad for $10. The chairs were thin and flimsy making it difficult to sleep. And unfortunately we got a "window seat" that did not have a window. It was very disappointing."

I could have downloaded it while waiting at the gate of they announced it. Also, my overhead light didn't work. I couldn't watch anything or read. Very long flight without being able to do these."

Nevýhody: "I only have one bag. My bag is weighted 57 lb and charged me CA$100.00. They should have averaged 2 bags' weight and I should not have charged CA$100.00. I think the service is poor."

Nevýhody: "Seats did not recline. It was one of the least comfortable flights I've been on in th past few years."

Nevýhody: "Moved to another flight despite the fact we were on time to make the flight through security."

Výhody: "The entertainment was good and the crew was efficient. Getting on and off the plane was smooth."
Nevýhody: "I couldn't believe how little room there was for such a long flight! There wasn't enough room for me to reach my bag that was on the ground even when the seat in front of me wasn't reclined. And the people next to me kept jabbing me with their elbows because three grown adults simply could not sit next to one another in such a small space. I'm a small person so if I feel crammed on a flight I have no idea how the average person can tolerate it!"

Nevýhody: "Overbooked flight Switched gates at the last minute before boarding--very confusing. Filthy bathrooms on plane Typical bad airline food; couldn't even break apart dinner roll it was so rubbery. No individual movie screens, had to use your own mobile device and earphones or pay $10 to use an ipad provided by the plane to access in-flight network. Overall very disappointing service. Expected much more from Air Canada."

Výhody: "The commuter terminal in Toronto is a bit of a pit. Basically a glorified hallway, which gets pretty chaotic while you are waiting for your flight, and others are queuing up. For anyone with mobility challenges it is a long hike from the main terminal."

Výhody: "The food was excellent and the seats were very comfortable. I also loved the blanket and slippers. Service was top notch!"

I payed over 250 just in taxi to and from the airpor, plus 300 dollars in hotel reservations plus 250 in tours. The airline other than continue rebooking and printing more and more boarding passes did nothing"

Výhody: "Flights were on time and the crew was friendly. Each seat had its own TV with many movies. I liked that the on board menu for food had many options including buying a first class meal."
Nevýhody: "I wish they would give out even little cookies for free or something. Everything is pay for purchase."

Výhody: "Toronto->Shanghai Good In general it was a good flight considering how long (14 hours) it was. The new entertainment system has a lot of features and movies. It also has chat to other passengers which is useful when travelling with a group sitting in different areas."
Nevýhody: "Bad Long flight but that is the way it is. The fight map froze on my entertainment system about 1/2 through the flight so the map was useless after that. One side of my earphones also went dead. My wife wanted something better then hot noodles in a cup for the middle meal."

Výhody: "Bos->Toronto Good Air Canada at Boston Logan airport has there own gate area with only 3 gates. This reduces the security line for faster security check. However this also causes problems with PreCheck. See below."
Nevýhody: "Bad There is only one line for security at Air Canada Boston Logan because of the small volume at this check point. Because of this, PreCheck passages need to hold onto there bording pass as they go through security. The first security person who checks ID and boarding pass only told my wife not to take off her shoes. He did not tell her to hold on to her boarding pass, so she put it into the bin for x-ray stuff. So later security personnel then told her to take off her shoes and gave her a body scan because her boarding pass was already in the x-ray machine. I always hold on to my boarding pass thru security but had to take my computer out of my carry-on."

Výhody: "chairs a little bigger"
Nevýhody: "the staff are indifferent to a point of being rude. The food is dismal and their cost cutting measures really reflect how bad it has become. It functions like a budget airline now. Try to learn a thing or two from the airlines like Cathay Pacific, Singapore airlines and Qatar airlines."

Výhody: "Fast & efficient"
Nevýhody: "Crew was strangely inflexible about rules that I had not encountered before- being only in ticketed seat until at altitude (the flight was very empty), only specific headphones during takeoff & ascent, no headphones or electronic devices at all during final descent and landing."

Nevýhody: "I asked a crew member to find me a empty space near me so that i don't need to store my luggage in the way way back, and she said she was too short to open and close those overhead bins. SERIOUSLY, HOW DID YOU GET THE DAMN JOB"
