Nevýhody: "First, they announced that they need some passengers to voluntarily give up the booking in exchange for 280 refunds (a slightly higher rate which not worth to do it) and 1 stopover the fight to Rome which will arrive at 22.00 instead (our flight is 17.35). About 15 minutes before boarding time, they announced flight delaying. Around 17.45, they announced gate changing from B to A which located at opposite side of the the airport so all passengers run there because of everyone afraid that their booking might be canceled because no one agrees to give up. At both gates, many people try to jump in the queue which no staff comes in the manage the queue. During waiting on the board, the air condition seems to be closed, hard to breathe. Around 19.00, the plane took off the Zurich airport eventually, finish the 1.5 hours delay. The captain announced that it cause by the technical problem of the flight earlier but my thinking it cause from over-booking."

Nevýhody: "The plane was too hot. I asked multiple times throughout the flight for the temperature to be reduced, and it was not. I was wearing light jeans and a short sleeve shirt, and I was sweating all flight. Each time I asked throughout the duration of the flight, I was told it take a while for the temperature to decline. It's one thing to be uncomfortably warm on a flight; it's another thing when the flight crew lies to you. Further, I was not the only one to request that the temperature be reduced. This made an 11 hour flight particularly miserable."

Výhody: "Everything went smoothly on the rebooked flight the next day through Vienna to Newark USA. The flight on Austrian airlines was quite comfortable, good food and entertainment for the long flight. Boarding and deboarding all very smooth. Very helpful SWISS staff helped locate our luggage when we missed connecting flight the previous day."
Nevýhody: "Thunderstorm at Zurich caused delay of our flight into Zurich, and we missed original connecting flight to USA. Many other travelers affected and there were no other flights that day. One wonders if they could have held the flight for one hour or so to allow everyone to make the flight. There was a huge line, 2-3 hours of waiting, at SWISS transfer desk to rebook. It took another 2 hours to locate our luggage. I believe SWISS were required by EU regs to provide overnight accommodations and meals. But the hotel was 30+ km from the airport and we were not confident we would have transport in the morning to make our rebooked flight. Because we could not take the chance already being delayed by a day, we booked an airport hotel at our own expense. Overall experience of the missed connection was negative based on the airline's (SWISS) procedures, but the individual SWISS staff helping us were all helpful and made extra effort to accommodate."

Nevýhody: "I was randomly selected for a second security check at the boarding gate in Zurich airport, the security staff were unfriendly, said it was a TSA requirement even though I stated I am a United States Citizen and That I have already passed through a complete security check Point, still they placed a metal & scanning detector on my feet, hands & belt. This was a complete violation of my rights. Never have I faced a humiliating situation at any other airport. If this was a TSA requirement then everyone should be subject to a second security check."

Nevýhody: "I had such a miserable experience getting to Florence on Swiss Air that I sent a letter of complaint WHILE ON VACATION!! Really. It was a nightmare... not the way you want to start a vacation. I had difficulty booking my daughter's seat online for the return, but didn't have access to phone service while abroad. In my complaint letter to Swiss Air I requested they place us together. I never got a response and upon check in, they had my son and me in our purchased seats and my daughter at the back of the plane. I asked them if they could do anything about it (I was even willing to give up my seats to move to the back...) yet no one seemed concerned or interested in helping to make this work. They also had no knowledge of my complaint or appeared concerned about my prior experience. I'm so over Swiss Air. My experience with the employees on the phone prior to my first departure, the lack of response to my email, and a disinterested and inattentive staff on my return, have all convinced me to choose a different airline next time."

Nevýhody: "The Amsterdam airport is super disorganized, with rude employees great at making excuses for their incompetence. The boarding crew really struggled to organized the boarding and wouldn't really care about people's status. We had to take a bus to the airplane, and even though both plane's entrances were open, they sent everybody to the front entrance. The comfort of the plane was horrendous, with seats over 20 years old and their business class was the same as the coach, but with no one sitting in the middle (can you get any lower than this?) The flight attendant woke me up to shove a food tray that I didn't want. We had to wait over 45 minutes after the plane landing to start seeing some luggage show up on the conveyor bell. The overall flight experience make southwest look like a luxury airline. This was my first and last time flying on KLM."

No online check-in, so not ideal for business travellers having to queue to check-in at Zurich airport

Flight to Florence delayed. All passengers took a bus to Pisa (1.5 hours away) to fly Pisa to Paris. We missed our connection and flew next day. All information regarding the delay online was incorrect ("system not yet updated") . So calling Air France was useless as they could not assist. Not all flight delays can be avoided but many improvements are needed throughout this process.

Výhody: "The seats were much more comfortable then my last flight. The entertainment system was also updated from the 1980’s remote and cord ones on my flight from DC to Paris."
Nevýhody: "There was no food between the two meals on an 8 hour flight. I had a flight attendant rudely tell me that there is nothing to offer until the next meal. No one reached out to me about the horrible flight and comments I made from the last flight."

Nevýhody: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. Without that tickets we can not claim the bags. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

At some point a flight attendant even tried to touch my dog, invading my personal space. When the dog rightfully acted defensive trying to protect me, the crew member started threatening me that he would have the dog sent to cargo, the last thing a person with an emotional support pet wants to hear. Extreme lack of professionalism."

She also said I was only allowed one free drink of coffee. The second snack was a cake or cheese sandwhich. We were starving the entire flight we had to give in and pay for snacks on board. I’ll try to avoid eurowings from now on."

We were confused when they did not give us our boarding passing for our connecting flight at our original departure desk, and were told we would receive the boarding passes at the gate in Zurich. I never received any notice about his being a Eurowings flight or instructions to check in online. Our incoming flight to Zurich was delayed at least a half hour and it took us a while to get to the gate for our connecting flight. When we arrived, the gate had just been closed and we were told we were not even on the ledger. We were told we would have needed to get our boarding passes at the Swiss Sor desk and required prior check in to be on the passenger list. We were also very confused about the fact that this was a eurowings fight even though our booking indicated Swiss. This has never happened to us before. We would have needed additional instructions for prior check in, and had we been on the passenger list perhaps the plane would have waited for us."

Nevýhody: "It was getting there that was a pain. I am a handicapped passenger, traveling alone, walking on a cane. When you enter Terminal 1, you have to turn left and walk about 150 meters to an "assistance station" to get a wheelchair before you even check in for the flight. So for me it was walk 150 meters to wait for a wheelchair, be wheeled back to the airline's desk to check in, then go back the way you came to pass through security. (By the way, in the UK, you must remove all gels for a separate inspection, meaning toothpaste and shampoo, and they must be 100ml or less, or else you must check the bag.) After that rigmarole, you don't even go to the gate, because the flight doesn't have a gate assignment until about 35 minutes before departure. Then I had to climb stairs to get to the cabin. Shouldn't an airport in a market this large have jet bridges for every flight?"
Nevýhody: "Over one and half hour delay meant I had missed last train to Victoria and instead had to wait a further 40min for a slow train to Kings Cross. If on time i would have been home by 12am latest. Instead got home at 3.30am. Unacceptable for Easy jet not to take much responsibility of this massive inconvinece"

The rest of the world can give the gate well ahead of time, why can't Britain do the same?"
