Výhody: "Pilots were good, they provided a smooth ride."
Nevýhody: "Nothing better than other competitors (Qatar Airlines). Turkish Airport had poor washrooms and seatings (not expected from a European country). Flight from Turkey to Pakistan was without earphones, you had to beg for it. Less professional airline crew."
Nevýhody: "The flight from Washington DC to Istanbul was very comfortable but the flight from Istanbul to Lahore was very uncomfortable. It was not worth the money. Turkish air line should use better And newer airplanes between Istanbul and Lahore"

I ended up missing my connection to Antayla because the customs line was too long, so I was re-booked for a later flight departing 7+ hours later. Nevýhody: "The crew at check-in & at boarding checked me in to fly to Tel-Aviv (transiting at Istanbul) without any comment on visa or passport at Washington D.C. In Istanbul, I was not allowed to board on the flight to Tel-Aviv. I was not allowed to stay in Istanbul. Crew (Erin Uler) who stopped me from boarding the flight said he would help, but disappeared. Othes kept sending me back and forth between transfer desk and sales desk with inconsistent advice every time. I had no way out, so decided I will fly to the closest European country. This was after I had been back and forth for 7 hours. I had to pay full for flight to Greece. I asked to be sent back to D.C. they could not even work that out. I have a return ticket to fly back to Washington D.C. with Turkish Airline on 1 Jan and they said they will need to re-ticket my paid return flight as well. Turkish airline crew did not would not help me fix my return flight back to D.C. They have asked me to contact the agent ( Kayak). Now I am stuck in Athens, a country I have never visited nor planned to. My tours & accommodation, all paid for in Israel, I have lost. I had a tour fully paid in Israel. I have no ticket to return back to D.C. even though I paid for ticket with cancellation insurance when I bought the ticket. The advice between Turkish crew who checked my passport (official) while I was flying out of D.C. vs the Turkish crew who stopped me from boarding was inconsistent. If I had been stopped in D.C. I wouldn't have had to face the events that followed. Now I have lost my tours, hotel in Israel. I had to pay extra for flight to Athens and I am paying for hotel and sundry in Athens while waiting for flight out. Turkish crew at Istanbul were not only unhelpful but rude and inconsistent. While I was waiting for 8 hours for a firm information, shouting matches between Turkish crew and customers went on at least a dozen times. Inconsistent information from Turkish staff has led me to be currently stuck in Athens. I am waiting for a way back to D.C. There should be a rule that fines an airline if they board people without accurate visa papers and they fail to check it. There should also be a fine to the airline if they stop people from boarding at a transit airport leaving passanger stranded with nowhere to go or return. I ask this issue to be looked at, as I am currently stuck in Athens. I need a ticket to go back to D.C."
Výhody: "Nothing. I guess the fact that I made it to Israel?"
Nevýhody: "Your incompetent agents messed up my reservation multiple times. They called my home and emailed asking for a payment, even though my client bought the ticket for me. Then, when I was checking in I realized my name was wrong even though my client has a document that proves she typed the right name. Finally, and AGAIN KAYAK, I arrive at the airport and Turkish Air says the ticket is booked but not ticked. So I had to jump on a 30min wait over the phone trying to solve issue after issue. Never doing business again with Kayak."

I was trying to use the restroom on the plane but there was a person in there for a long time; I waited outside patiently and then when I got in I brushed my teeth and used the toilet. It didn’t take me that long but the flight attendant knocked hard on the door but she didn’t do that for me with the other guy. I didn’t feel welcomed at all from the crew honestly."
Nevýhody: "Seats are too cramped and not enough leg room. Plus our seats did not recline which is painful on a 10 hour flight. The flight attendants and front desk workers had an attitude as well."

The food also was really bad, nothing like it used to be. By far the worst Turkish Airlines experience I've had, and I may reconsider booking in the future."

The person in-charge was rude,did not care to provide ride to bathroom or to buy water, There was no water or bathroom nearby. The flight to Amman was cancelled/delayed. First we were told it was cancelled and would be put up in a hotel, but on the way the wheelchair driver was asked to return to office and drop us at a gate. At this gate the departure time kept changing every hour or so without any plane at the gate, or staff. This lasted till next day about 3 PM. For this long period There was no water. The was no assistance to bathroom or food or water. All the passangers were upset. They organized and went to talk to the Airline personnel. They returned frustrated since none of the Airline staff knew anything."

She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."

I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

Nevýhody: "The people working at the American Airline counters at the Philly International Airport are very unhelpful and rude. When the check-in kiosk said to get assistance from a rep, the reps told me they could not move from behind their counters. The TSA people people were worse. They treat passengers as if they are dogs, never saying please or thank you, but giving commands in condescending tones to people."

The first being a cartoon by the way. I'm sure the 3 children on board had a great time watching it. 2 bathrooms on a 9-hour flight for the entire coach cabin? One of which was near the front. Can you guess what the plane smelled like by the time we landed? Let's discuss the fact that passengers had to be "shuttled" to the plane because of construction. I paid additional for Group 1 boarding, so great I got to get on the shuttle first. Those that came after me also were the last to board the shuttle and the first to get on the plane. Thanks, American, for showing me again why I use you as a last resort. Had I known it was American and NOT Finnair, as I purchased it, I would have re-thought my purchase."

Výhody: "Having read horror stories online about booking with Kayak's partner Justfly, I was prepared for the worst (last-minute cancellations, partial refunds, all-around crummy service). Actually, my Finnair flight was great - it was operated by BA, so it was a nice new double-decker Airbus plane. It was maybe 3/4ths full, so I nearly had a row to myself - shoutout to the jerk who decided he was entitled to the aisle seat. The flight was smooth and easy and best of all, it cost a fraction of what the BA price for a one-way from SFO to LHR cost."
Nevýhody: "The food on BA continues to be meh, but what most people don't realize is that ALL airline food is meh, because your tastebuds don't work properly 30k feet in the air (it's a scientific fact)."

Why are the restaurants advertising being open to some specific time (well prior to the departure of this flight) yet then have staff holler at you that they are closed when you try to go in well before that time. It would have been very nice to have been able to sit down and have some dinner prior to the flight, but the rudeness of both of the two restaurants and their staff was worthy of the notoriety of NYC attitudes (which I don't generally see in mainstream NYC society)."

I didn't like that I bought a ticket from Finnair, got emails from Finnair, for some reason couldn't check in early on the Finnair website, arrived at the airport, waited in the absurdly long check-in line for Finnair only to find out that they had no record of me and I wasn't flying Finnair. Actually, I was on an American Airlines flight."

Nevýhody: "Plane left almost an hour late with no explanation given. For huge plane, still cramped unless you pay loads for more room. Upgrade prices outlandish!!!"

It had a good range of movies but the flight map was broken at my seat. I tried both online and by calling to request a menu and the wait to speak with someone was 45 minutes, and there was nothing on line that allowed me to choose a meal option. The plane was small and all seats were taken. After the meal there were incredibly long lines for only two toilets. Finally, SAS lost our luggage, which can of course happen, but there were more than 50 people waiting around at the carousel and nobody from SAS came to tell us the truth. Finally news trickled back to us by word of mouth and when we got to the SAS baggage consigne, there was only one SAS woman working there and she refused even when asked to announce to us what had happened so we would have some idea. Instead she told someone who told someone else and again by word of mouth we found forms to fill out about who we were and where we were staying. I stood in line for 45 minutes and only then would she explain the luggage had been left in Copenhagen but would arrive that night or the next day--something she could easily have shared with the group instead of leaving everybody in the dark. And at no time did another SAS official or staff member come to help all of us standing there, some of the group waiting with no news for 2 hours when the SAS lady knew full well what had happened. It is shameful. Will never fly SAS again.

SAS canceled flight the day before we were to head to Athens to catch our cruise ship. No warning whatsoever from Kayak or SAS. We only found out when we tried to check in and in red letters it said "Canceled". Kayak states they never received any message from SAS regarding this cancellation. SAS decided just to change our flights for the next day which was very unsatisfactory. NEVER AGAIN! Turkish Airlines is the way to go!

The staff onboard between IAD and Copenhagen was not friendly

Nevýhody: "I thought there was free alcohol on international flights. that you were not allowed to use the given blanket until after take off."

Nevýhody: "The airplane crew was rude. They could have been more nicer regarding food. My mother is diabetic and I asked the lady to get her a small sandwich or something so she can take her meds and plus her sugar levels where getting low. And the lady on her side was really rude and said NO."

Nevýhody: "Plane was delayed and connection in Copenhagen was missed, resulting in a five-hour delay overall."

We were not given the seats we pre picked months before when buying the ticket. The ac was broken for the first half of the flight. Then, we missed our connecting flight because of the first delay. Once we got onto a new connecting flight, it was also delayed and once again, we missed our last connecting flight and are not making it to our final destination today."

Never in my 25 years of international travel have I seen this from a mainstream carrier. For this fact alone, I will never fly this airline again. You also have to pay to pick your seats in advance."

Consequently, we departed IAD almost two hours late, causing us to miss our connection in Copenhagen. Norwegian Air had a flight leaving shortly from Copenhagen to Rome, but the transfer agent told us SAS "does not re-book with Norwegian." Instead we were assigned to two more flights, one to Brussels, and another from Brussels to Rome. We arrived in Rome around 17:00 rather than 10:35 as scheduled, losing a full day of sight-seeing."

All in all, the flight attendants were rude and unwilling to accept any ownership in the poor conditions of this 9 hour flight."

Nevýhody: "to realise at the airport that they will charge me 70 EUR for one luggage for one way only is outrageous! it wasnt clear at all that there wasnt luggage included in the price of the ticket... all of my previous tickets bought via kayak and priceline were also with luggage included and we have understood the given price as including luggage! i find it very negative and very bad experience and feel robbed, this is not acceptable business approach. my suggestion is that you will refund me the extra cost for the luggage. thank you."
