During on boarding they communicate that because the cabin was full of hand luggage the rest of the passengers needed to dispatch their hand luggage for free. This occurs only because they charge to dispatch luggage when buying the tickets. So nobody dispatch luggage and those who dis became frustrated because they payed. This unfortunately occurs on all companies."

Nevýhody: "Could provide a menu card, like every other airline. Instead of listing every single option to everyone on the plane. And maybe use bigger cups that hold more than 3-4 ounces?? Especially when the airport takes away peoples liquids (see below). Ridiculous. Not necessarily with flight, more with Lima airport “security” - they took away ALL bottled liquids more than 3 oz. AT THE GATE. Even bottled water purchased 20 feet from the gate. And they couldn’t explain why. Just got a bunch of shrugs. Why take sealed water purchased at their own airport away before an international 8+ hour flight???"

For a midnight flight, I was really bummed to find out that my seat would not recline! My leg room on the A321 was lacking in comparison with GOL."
Nevýhody: "After getting off the shuttle to board the plane via stairs, men at the bottom and top of the stairs both stopped everyone and refused anyone to board. We were stuck on the tarmac for around 2-3 minutes. No entertainment options during the flight. No free food. Only water."

Výhody: "Solid crew, clean planes, safe pilots. Exceptional staff support at LATAM check-in at LAX."
Nevýhody: "I arrived 3 hours early to my flight, which I had been notified that morning of a 2hr delay. Fortunately the woman who checked me in realized there was 1 seat available on the last flight that would get me to Lima in time for my connection flight (departing same time as my flight pre-delay). She personally got me to the front of the line, and ran with me just about to the gate, where I caught a shuttle to the plane. If she hadn't done so, and if I hadn't checked in so early, I would have been forced to stay in Lima 24hrs, despite buying a rightful seat and having reservations in Buenos Aires. It is appalling and unacceptable that y'all continue to overbook flights, causing incredible trouble, inconvenience and potential harm to your customers. For a service that costs so much, the only acceptable delays are weather and mechanically related. if it hadn't been for amazing staff immediately, I would've been furiously waiting in a city I didn't need or want to be in. Customer service will continue to grow your business or impede it negatively-- how y'all act is up to you. I appreciate how well I was taken care of by several kind individuals."

Nevýhody: "They lost my bag, which I didn't get back until my return trip home. I planned a week long hiking expedition and LATAM lost my hiking pack. I had to then rent all my gear. I was very very disappointed in their ability to keep track of my checked bag. When I arrived at my destination they had no idea where my bag was. It took days for anyone to contact me about if my pack was found or not. I will be avoiding this airline from now on if possible."

This caused much inconvenience for me as I could not get home when I was supposed to. At least some of the terminal staff should have a good command of English and supervisors should be more willing to step in and help. I will try very hard NOT to fly with LAN again."

Nevýhody: "The seats were really uncomfortable, the food was just ok and they did not advertise the shrimps to the allergics, the beverages were rare for a flight so long, so we got headaches and dehydration. The price to dispatch the luggage and to book the seats in advance was insanely expensive!"

Nevýhody: "It was not a business class at all. I was put in the same big bus together with econom class passengers. There was not supposed to be any business class in this airplane, since chairs are all the same and not comfortable. No entertainment of any kind at all. It's a waste of money."

Had an hour an a half layover but by the time you get on line to go thru customs n security again we were definitely cutting it close but that's TSA not the airline but the airline could have maybe added another maybe 20-25 mins to the layover. We felt like world travellers running for our connecting flight tho and we loved it! Lol!"
