I want a refund you did not deliver what I paid for

Late take off. While usually not a big deal, this delay began a chain that led to (many people) having to wait in line (I stood for 6 1/2 hours to rebook a flight in Frankfurt Airport. Never made it to my original layover, in Paris… would have been a 23 1/2 layover. And I’d already made hotel reservations. Ce la Vie!

Delayed flight with no announcement, no order on boarding (people were jumping on top of each other), during the flight with seatbelt signs up little kids were running on the aisle with parents or crew saying nothing about it. The only highlight was the friendly crew, but anything else was terrible.

It was only an hour flight, but at that, it was still late

Meals in buissnes class was cold , breakfast regular, crew excellent

Entertainment was difficult to operate

Nevýhody: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

Výhody: "Chairs were uncomfortable, mainly due to the front passenger was always in reclined mode, and the passenger behind me wouldn't let me recline... He would literally push my chair up, but that's probably because his chair can not recline!"
Nevýhody: "We needed to place special request on vegetarian meal, couldn't do it at booking or at checkin, was told to let crew know, they said it's too late. They brought us an "unclaimed" vegetarian meal, but it wasn't, it was Asian halal meal with lamb! After I let crew member know wmy husband was served meat instead, she denied it and said "its not possible" as the wrapper says "vegetarian". I informed her it actually said "Asian halal", she the proceeded to say, well, "i am sorry if it's wrong, but I gave you vegetarian". That said crew member collected my husband's plates while I was in the bathroom and came back later with a "vegan" plate that they now have available."

My seat should have cost 20% less because I did not have access to my full space. Crew should be trained to not allow customers who cannot fit into a single seat to only have a ticket for one seat. The crew identifies bags that do not fit, they should do the same thing with people."

Nevýhody: "British Airways did not have a plane available in timely manner. They were jerking us around with the departure time. They changed the departure time over 6x. The range was zero to 3 hours late. Finally, we departed about 80 minutes late. The blame was on weather but I did not believe them. I looked from the window - weather was fine with slight drizzle and about 3000 ft overcast. Also, the flight to Prague had no food but mostly no drinks no sodas. I'm questioning their business practices when they were asking about 5 pounds for a drink. I will fly with some other airlines next time."

When I exited the bathroom after being violently ill, no one was on the plane except the cleaning staff, and no one was keeping an eye on my bags. I found my purse unzipped. Luckily nothing seems to be stolen. I proceeded to vomit and have food poisoning symptoms the next few hours while waiting for my connecting flight to Rome. I vomited through the entire flight to Rome - no one seemed particularly concerned. No one asked if I needed a hospital. British Air would not take a report about the food poisoning onsite. Nothing was done to help me change my flights to avoid flying so sick or make any helpful suggestions whatsoever."

Pasta is fine and I love it, but people that don’t eat meat need to have vegetables added to their meals, or at least an egg. And for breakfast the only option was a ham and cheese sandwich, so I didn’t eat."

When checking the board, the flight's boarding was anticipated to 1810. We were at the gate at 1815 and there was an electronic sign signaling "boarding". However there was no personal, no line of waiting passengers and no plane. Upon checking we were told that the plane had already left. (this was at 1828). The only way to make our connection in london was a flight to Heathrow later with BA. Then we had to get a taxi to get to gatwick. Will never fly Iberia again."

Nevýhody: "This was American Airlines, not Iberia. Flight was supposed to leave at 9:45 pm but was delayed to 10:30 pm. At around 10:45 the flight was delayed again. At around 11 we were told that our pilots were too tired to fly and two other pilots might fly us but we wouldn't know untill 12:30 am. At 12:45 am we were told the back up pilots refused the trip. American Airlines has no back up plan for this apparently and the flight was cancelled till 9:30 am the next day. It was 2:00 am before I received a hotel voucher. Overall terrible experience."

I was held-up at boarding by rude employee who insisted that I had to wait until all other passengers had boarded the lane before issuing me a boarding pass so I can board the plane. I could not check-in earlier and get a boarding pass since I had flown directly from Dusseldorf.

Nevýhody: "Lack of communication. Lack of sympathy. Lack of knowledge. From the beginning, I wasn’t given the boarding pass to my connecting flight nor was I informed as to why. When I finally made it to my connecting flight with NO time to spare (very small window of approximately 45 minutes to make it to my connecting flight) my husband, my son and I were turned away from our flight due to over booking. The Eurowings manager guarantees we would be able to make another flight if we went to the ticket counter right away. At the ticket counter, (different airline) the ticket agent explained we’d have to transfer our booking over from Eurowings to the new airline. This left us NO time to make that flight the Eurowings manager guaranteed us we would make. We also waited 3 hours at the baggage claim office only for them to tell us they lost all our bags. Only 2 out of our 5 bags made it onto the flight and will be waiting at lost and found of our final destination and the other 3 bags are unknown of their whereabouts. The Eurowings ticket agent took ALL of our bags including my husbands and I carry ons, so we were left with no clothing and had to stay at the airport over night. This airline really sucks. We were never informed in advance of this over booking issue or I would have certainly made my own accommodations before hand. Will never fly Eurowings again. Definitely the worst airline I’ve traveled with. And I lost 5 bags in the process."

Nevýhody: "I could not check in online the evening prior as there were no more standard seats to select, and therefore could not purchase an extra check-in bag with online prices. I called Eurowings and they advised to just go to the airport and check-in. Was forced to pay a much higher price at the check-in counter at the airport. Either the online system has been set up to rip off the consumer or this is a farce."

Due to the delay and further travel plans the next day, I had to buy new clothes in Berlin to have something to wear."
Nevýhody: "Our home was damaged & we were without power for 6 days due to Hurricane Irma. They refused to cancel tickets. Heartless, no wonder so many Airlines has such horrible customer service ratings"

The passengers who paid extra for snacks with the ticket were served first and even after I said my ears were hurting and I needed something sweet to chew on (I was going to buy something to eat anyway) I wasn't served till roughly 75 minutes into the flight. The crew was inconsiderate towards passengers who bought economy seats and was focusing only on passengers who paid extra for seats and snacks. If that's the case then they should stop serving other customers anyway and tell us beforehand so that we can arrange our own food/drinks from the airport lounge"
Nevýhody: "The service of the airline was horrible. They lost our bags and refused to show any empathy towards us or the multiple other passengers that also lost their bags from our flight. I will never fly Eurowings again."

Overall experience was ok. Flight was overbooked and my travel partner was put on standby while I had a confirmed seat. Not sure how it happened. We were told the flight was booked separately but I booked on kayak.com. In the end we both got on the flight and was even able to exchange seats and sit together. Overall flight experience was good. It was a short 1.5 hour flight from Rome to Paris.

We were very lucky and got a complementary upgrade somehow because the crew needed our seats.

Is the weight issue an over head storage weight limit issue or a fuel issue? Either way they eventually let me go. Ridiculous. They charged me over $110 for an extra check bag when kayak told me it would be $65-$110. Scam/stealing. Also, they told me I had to hold my kid during take off and landing instead of them being in their super secure car seat. How is that even logical? They said it was a company policy. If it was a company policy, why didn’t I have to hold my kid on the following flight? Dumb."

The flight attendant asked if I would like to move to row 32, the last (and worst) row of the plane, which has no window, so that the people in my seats could sit together. I thought she had to be joking, but she wasn't. These people need to get a SERIOUS reality check. It's like going to a restaurant, ordering a filet mignon steak, and then waiter comes out and says "we gave your filet mignon to that person sitting over there, but here's a MacDonalds hamburger for you. And you will still be paying for the filet. Will that be ok?" No. It's not ok. Only an airline would try something like that. This behavior is unacceptable in every other business. Stop doing this now!"

An email came through requiring I add additional information for my two companions within 48 hours or their flight would be cancelled and NO refund. I have the app and requested text notification, whereby nothing came through. The flights were cx and I had to book 2 new ones or fly alone. When calling to dispute, I could only email. The phone number was not international. The email rely denied a refund. I requested to escalate the dispute but Wasnt ever connected to that individual. In Paris, I attempted to reach the claims dept and was told to email them or call customer service but don't speak Spanish so got no where. Out 267$."
Nevýhody: "Plane never left. Bused us to Bilbao, missed our flight to Porto. Have to wait in Barcelona for hours. Flying us to Vigo, Spain then ground transportation to Porto., 11 hours later."
Výhody: "I really liked the idea of boarding from the back of the plane which made boarding so much more efficient!"
