Nevýhody: "Vegetarian food. 30% of people are vegetarian"

Výhody: "Turkish Airlines is my favorite airline going to Europe. We even did the 20 hr layover in Istanbul and had a great time staying for a couple of nights going and coming back. Staff is always friendly and the food is amazing. The food in coach is as good as first class on some US domestic flights"
Nevýhody: "It's an airplane, there's not much to make it better besides giving more seat room. TA gives free drinks, a couple of meals, blankets, and the travel bag, only a snobby priss would gripe about flying with them. I've flown enough budget airlines that give you NOTHING that I love flying TA!"

I got delaied 2 hours at the turkish airport plus the 7 hours lay over, total 9 hours, the gate travel service didnt give us any reason for the dealy, the customes gathered us in a small area where there is no seats and the bathroom was smelling so bad, we were stsrving and not even water been served to us, i missed my ride to the hotel in Amman, and missed my work breakfast orientation."

So not sure how big people can handle seating there for 10 hours."

Výhody: "I like the food in the air craft it was good, but the crew seemed not wanting to speak inglish The are more willing to serve turkish speakers, They were not even able to solve seat problem. that I and my next seat guy decided to solve the issue by offering our seats to them so that they can sit together, the crew spoke poor english and we were held up by that seat problem, ask that crew member they will tell you what happend, After we gave up our saets to random girls who were also angry about turkish airline, we were able to take off for nairobi And yes the coffee store by the cafe nero and nearly all business refused to give us a wifi And turkish airport offers wifi to only those who have a turkish phone number that is so very low Shame on turkish airline for treating us the give us a free rides we are their bussiness and we will make sure that we stop giving our bussness It looks like they took their customers for granted and we will just tollered it but I will not and many people whom I know will not It is simply desaster... 0% service from the time you come to the airport untill boading time I had to ask about 5 deffrent men to tell me if where I was terminal. One but none of them know what i was saying And at the time my flight was sopposed leave 7:50 so I was freaking out And no one helping at that crtical moment I finaly got the delay flight info after running somany times up and down the road"

Výhody: "I got extremely sick on the flight from Istanbul to San Francisco. I now know I caught a stomach bug which hit me on the flights from Cape Town to Istanbul and then even worse from Istanbul to San Francisco. The flight from Istanbul was delayed by two hours due to customs delay for a passenger, as such there was a lot of recycled air. Take that and fact I'm pregnant and by time i started the 13 hour journey already felt sick. I started throwing up immediately and got sick 12 more times. the flight attendants brought me crackers, water and a cold towel and ice. My husband asked if he could pay to put me in business class but was not in airline policy. but i think given how sick and pregnant i was the flight attendant went to ask the captain if there was anything they could do to assist. they ended up moving me to business class to lie down and let me stay there for 3 hours. I got sick upon moving back but getting that rest really helped me. I felt like they genuinely cared about me and am so thankful to the two flight attendants who assisted: 1) Zumrat Bolukbas 2) Hatice (Cabin Chief) These women are amazing!"

Nevýhody: "This flight was cancelled due to weather conditions in Turkey, a snow storm that caused the Istanbul airport to be closed. I tried to reschedule my flight but was delayed 4 days which meant I was going to miss my work for 3 days."

Nevýhody: "I made request by the phone, for service animal. They told me to call back after 24h!!! After 5 days of waiting, more than 50 calls to customer "support " that barely speak English, I was forced to go to "Airport " to chek what is the problem with my request. Over there they helped me, and everything was fine after that. But this is RIDICULOUS, that I need to go to f... airport to solv the problem. Never ever turkish!!!!!!"

She was ignored at counter, mr. M. Meindle told her to step aside and it was not “worth arguing”! The people she sought direction from, are the ones that left her confused and ignored. Shame on them"

Nevýhody: "Had a connecting flight, both were with Lufthansa. There was an hour between the two flights. We went straight to security and immediately to the boarding gate but they had closed the gate and would not let us board, even though there was 15 minutes before the flight was due to leave. We were refused a refund and had to move flights to another airport 2 hours away and then had a 5 hour delay. We lost our car reservation as we would arrive too late to collect, we also couldn't check in to our hotel as planned as the hotel only allow check in until 11pm; we would have got there at 1am, so then had to book another hotel for the night. Airport staff at Lufthansa told us they could not help and told us to go away!"

Výhody: "Once again the crew was great and helped me find a place to stow my carry on since I was in the emergency row. The snack was also very tasty."

Výhody: "Staff, especially male steward was very professional and dedicated. Bravo for the effort for the boy."

Nevýhody: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

In Boston, the smoothest landing we have ever had. Just love Lufthansa. Highly recommend, this is the fourth time long haul with them."

I flew in this route a month before, and since then I've been trying to change the seats. Lufthansa customer service never called me back. When I tried to call, I was put on hold for more than an hour every time. Never flying Lufthansa again."

Nevýhody: "That I had to take an earlier flight than planned, 0840 instead of 1050. This meant we all had to get up around 0400 to get to the airport, and I then had a little less time with my family. When one lives so far away each minute is precious."

Wish that would have been clear when I purchased the ticket. Also there is no clear info on what the cost is for your bag at what point in the check-in process."

Výhody: "I fly this route on Austrian 5 times a year, and I nearly always choose Austrian because it hast the overall best 'package' - a comfortable plane with excellent sleeping seats in business class, the best airline food in the world from Do & Co, the nicest staff that really cares about your well being and the quickest connection between Bangkok and Vienna."
Nevýhody: "The entertainment program is a bit slim, to my taste - but I'm not a big consumer of inflight movies, as I prefer to get more sleep when I fly. When compared to the entertainment program on Singapore Airlines, for example, Austrian's own can't really compete."

Nevýhody: "We left from Vienna , two hours late. This kind of problem supposed to be fix it , before.i like to fly with Austrian Airlines, isn't the first time, but now for me , to so long was a big problem"

Výhody: "Our seats 35 A & C were comfortable as they were to the back of the plane where it narrows to two seats per side row. Seemed like extra leg room. Crew was very friendly and helpful. Flight was smooth and uneventful. Good movie choices. Bathroom was clean and nearby. Plane seemed newer Boeing model. The City Airport Transport (CAT) train from the Vienna airport to city center was fantastic. We were able to check our luggage and get boarding passes where we boarded the CAT at the metro station and did not have to wait in line at the airport...wonderful system!"
Nevýhody: "At the gate there was a line formed for a second passport check but it was not clear to passengers that they needed to go through this line. A significant number of us had SSSS on our boarding passes which required us to go through a second, more thorough, TSA security procedure. We had to remove shoes, take electronics including phones from cases, have purse contents gone through by personnel, be screened for residue, etc. Due to this process and the fact that we were not advised to stand in the line, a number of passengers went through the second security check at the last minute which caused our takeoff to be delayed. The pilot made up the time during the flight. I ordered low sodium meal which ended up to be the same food at both meals which was a disappointment - pasta with tomato, eggplant sauce."

Nevýhody: "5 hour delay. One staff member said there would be a delay, the second said there was no delay and after a couple hours the delay was confirmed. I was told the flight was full without the attendant even checking, flight was actually not even close to full. Nobody wanted to help and do their job, they just want to send you on your way."

Ukrainian airlines was offering the same trip cheaper but I decided to take LOT. Also I was surprised that I had to pay my luggage in my fly back. Next time I'll try Ukrainian airlines"

They served food while I slept so I called the flight attendant 7 times to now bring me food since she woke me up. She never showed up. So no only was I now up, couldn't fall back asleep because of the screaming children but I am SO glad the person behind me are her mean comfortably"

Then after standing there for 30-40 minutes, you go outside again to board the plan. On board, there were no amenities, but that was expected."

Nevýhody: "The crew were soooo rude to everyone! Their card machine to buy drinks wasn’t working so they had to take cash but they didn’t have change! They charged 4 pounds for water. Then they were selling scratch tickets AND perfume and jewelry! THEY EVEN SPRAYED PURFUME ON THE PLANE! It gave me such a trrrible headache and made me even more nauseous than I already was from the flight!!! So smelly!!! The seats didn’t recline And my husbands seat was ripped. So terrible all around!!!"

Eventually, they forced us to buy brand new tickets or we would have missed our flight."
