Best experience! Great flight crew, great on board entertainment (films, TV series,...)

Výhody: "Lufthansa is an airline that prides itself on timeliness and service. The boarding procedure was very good, food was very good and service was excellent. I have flown with Lufthansa before and they always prove to me that I’ve made the right choice booking with them!"
Nevýhody: "The weather, we hit some turbulence which is beyond the Captains control. Seatbelt sign came right on and even with that we still landed about 20 minutes early in Frankfurt"

Nevýhody: "We had to take a bus to get to the airplane from the terminal, which was no big deal. The bus driver was a little rough though."

OUCH! I scolded her and she apologized, but, REALLY? Perhaps the crew needs to reiterate how dangerous this is to do! My head still hurts a little on top, almost a week later. Ugh."

Nevýhody: "There is definetely not much space for passengers in economy' especially for such long flights and when the seat in front of you is inclined. Not pleasant to eat nor to watch movies. I had to slid in and out my seat whenever I wanted to go to the bathroom."
Nevýhody: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

It was same last year. My suitcase broken in transit. Reported. No call back after several days. I’m US citizen of German ancestry. I feel badly about lack of service for India bound passengers."

Our flight was delayed twice, once in Frankfurt for late luggage and the ground crew left without pushing back the plane, then again in Seattle for a plane on the tarmac on fire. A 10 hour flight turned into 14 hours but I still enjoyed it. There was plenty of leg room and the seats were very comfortable. The entertainment was very enjoyable and the meals were satisfying. For such a long haul Lufthansa made the time flyby."

My seat should have cost 20% less because I did not have access to my full space. Crew should be trained to not allow customers who cannot fit into a single seat to only have a ticket for one seat. The crew identifies bags that do not fit, they should do the same thing with people."

The range was zero to 3 hours late. Finally, we departed about 80 minutes late. The blame was on weather but I did not believe them. I looked from the window - weather was fine with slight drizzle and about 3000 ft overcast. Also, the flight to Prague had no food but mostly no drinks no sodas. I'm questioning their business practices when they were asking about 5 pounds for a drink. I will fly with some other airlines next time."

Upon arrival in MAD, my baggage didn't make the connection and had to wait for 3 days before my baggage arrived"

Only complaint was that we had no way to know about the additional 'Locator Form' that was needed for arrival at our destination (Czech Republic). We had no way of knowing the website, or that it was required until we came to check in.

Nevýhody: "Far and away the most uncomfortable and worst value-for-money international flight I've experienced. This plane is so old it should be put in a museum. The warm food was terrible and the non-hot food was completely frozen so even if I wanted to eat it, this wouldn't be possible. Individual seat in-flight entertainment screens have been the norm for many years, yet this plane had the community-style in-flight entertainment. Half of the time, the screens weren't working, which just made matters worse. The total lack of legroom and chair ergonomics made getting comfortable nearly impossible. I was literally in pain sitting in these seats. I live in Prague and visit family in the US often. This was my first experience with American Airlines' newer direct flight option from Prague to Philadelphia; based on the extreme discomfort of the inflight features and to top it off it was the highest price I've paid for a flight back home...(total lack of value for the money! )I would go out of my way to make sure I never take this route again."

Nevýhody: "The 767 is no longer feasible at the load factors that the airline is using for it. Although the seats had been re-furbished, the overhead space is completely unsuited for roll on luggage and so, can't even come close to accommodating the number of bags that are brought on to any flight close to capacity. I would think that it would be beneficial for American to waive the checked baggage fee on any 767 flight to keep from boarding delays due to lack of overhead space. Also, on this flight we had the added problem of a maintenance issue. The flight departure kept getting pushed back in 15 minute increments and there appeared to be a disturbing lack of knowledge of what needed to be done and the time it would take to finish the repair and more on the paperwork to release the plane. We were kept in cramped and uncomfortable circumstances for 3 hours for a 2.5 hour flight.. This was a bad experience."

No point in booking through a 3rd party for that type of hassle."

After waiting for the ground crew to come rescue us, we started pushing backwards but then forwards again. Captain came on and said the problem was fixed. Once we landed at Toronto Pearson from Mexico City, there were no available gates. The movies see election available through streaming on Air Canada Rouge had fewer movies and shows than the tablet you could rent from the airline."

I had a super pleasant experience with Air Canada prior to this trip so it made me so sad. On the other hand, crew were fantastic. We missed our connecting flight but they took care of us so I was happy in that sense."

Nevýhody: "We had huge trouble at front desk since now Canada asks Mexican citizens for visa and while booking the flight there was no mention to this! We almost didn't make it to the flight, only because we have double citizenship and we could board with our other passport. Front desk made us a lot of trouble in accepting the other passports because the name is not the same in both documents (one married last name other one with single last name) Strongly suggest adding a pop up when there are specific visa requirements."

Vueling charged us for bags even though we paid prior to flight. Avoid them if booking Iberia and they are operating flight.

The flight attendants on Ibera are super nice!

They need to improve the breakfast.

My review is limited because we had two flights. One from Madrid to Chicago on Iberia Airlines was awesome, business class, roomy with good food and clean bathrooms. The other Chicago to San Diego on American Airlines was not so good, really poor, over crowed and small bathrooms. It would have been better if we could have stayed on Iberia all the way to San Diego.

Left my luggage behind. Flight attendants were extremely rude. Got charged twice for my ticket and still no refund. Worst airline i’ve ever flew with. This flight was first class by the way and they still managed to lose both my luggage and a couple’s luggage who were seated behind me also in first class. Absolutely ridiculous.

UPON arriving 20 days later for our return trip they said our return trip was cancelled because of a ‘no show’ on our original inbound trip. They said they had no proof we were on the next flight and asked for our Receipts to prove it. Said we had to buy new tickets, after 2 hrs, crying, yelling and most of Iberia telling us there was nothing they could do (told us to call BA since they were the co share for them) we finally got a high enough supervisor and they put us on the return flights. I’m sure we would have had to buy new tix if the flights were full. Have been overseas many times and this never happened. Will not use a 3rd party online ticket agency again- will go direct to airline, and not Iberia."

Flight was on time and didn't do anything scary. I was lucky as my neighbour found another free seat so left me with more room."
Nevýhody: "I've found Iberia to be uncaring. This flight was much the same. The food and drink service was cheap, and I felt the attendants didn't feel like they had to try to give good service. The new entertainment screens kept coming on, and I kept turning them off as I wished to sleep. Eventually I discovered they were being triggered by the electrostatic charge on the pillows that I was rearranging."

Nevýhody: "There was bad weather which understandably caused delays, however the communication during this eventual 16 hour delay was horrendous. We were told for the first two hours that we would be delayed each hour and then they would make a decision to delay another hour. This went on for 4 hours (the last two hours of which we did not receive any updates). The flight was originally scheduled to leave at 8:10. At 12:30am we were told our plane was at the gate and being prepared for us to board and the agent giving announcements said we were "guaranteed to leave TONIGHT". At 1am we were told that unfortunately the plane got to the gate just a bit too late and not the crew are not legally allowed to fly and the flight would be pushed back until 8am. At the time, I thought 7 hours was strange and I'd assume the crew would need more like 8-10 hours to rest. Unfortunately because we were told so late, all hotels were booked up. I live in NYC and would've gone home for the night however because we needed to be back by 6am (what the agent suggested), there seemed no point in leaving. We were not provided with any pillows or blankets until 4 in the morning. At 6am the next morning, we were told the crew needed "more rest time" and that our new departure time would be 9:30. How is it that the crew now needs more time? Shouldn't that have been figured out at 1am? Before we board, one of the agents thinks they will "lighten the mood" with the following comment - "Who would've thought a little bad weather would've caused this?" Absolutely not a time for jokes and people were very angry. We finally board for what we think is finally a 9:30am take off. No - now two new issues - 1, the co pilot is late (LATE? how can you be late when a flight has been delayed 16 hours) and 2, they needed to remove package from the plane for people who were no longer taking this flight. In the end, we took off around 11:30am which messed up a lot of peoples connecting flights, pick ups at the airport, etc. I will never fly this airline again."
