It was great

Extremely wonderful.

Airplane A380-800 is too big, fully booked. Too many people everywhere, which made me nervous due to Covid-19 infection risks. But food was good, and toilets were fine.

Nevýhody: "This is my fourth time booking Emirates for my route through kayak. The route is longer but I choose it for on-board Internet for work emails. Generally, they have on-board WiFi Internet, however for my return route of 21 hours both flights had no wifi which was disappointing. This is unprofessional because if you are planning on having WiFi to respond to work emails and it is not available once you are already in the air there is nothing you could do but get stuck. Never does this happen with Lufthansa, Turkish, Etihad. Disappointing."

For a flight in which 60-70% of passengers are Indians, some extra vegetarian meals should be available (for those who do not know how to book it in advance)."

The crew was so so rude Except one person his name is khaled

We booked the flight from Kayak, through flighthub The flights were cancelled by EgyptAir. We have been calling both parties back and forth to get our refund and nothing is happening.

Letting us know our 8am flight would be 3 hours late, every flight of theirs was late by hours. Seems like it’s the same everyday. We could have slept in another couple hours easily instead of coming to the airport at 6am.

Výhody: "so, due to my nervousness and being upset so much so that I wanted to get off the plane, the crew let me sit in business next to a friend and the pilot and crew went to extreme lengths to make me feel safe and unafraid. The pilot answered all my questions and constantly checked that I was ok. Once we took off, despite cloudy rainy snowy skies, this turned out to be the best smoothest flight ever once it departed, and the pilot was probably the best ever I experienced on Egypt Air, and many other airlines actually. Shout out to a fantastic crew stewardess (Olfat Younis) and amazing pilot!! A really great experience"

Excellent service

Stay away from flights going through Lome if that is not your final destination. The agents at the Accra airport are also thieves. They held onto my boarding pass for my upgraded ticket which I paid an extra $800; untill I paid $260. for excess baggage, when I was entitled to 3 free because of my upgraded ticket. I could have kept my economy seat and paid only $260, instead I paid $1060!. The agent held onto my boarding pass untill I had paid and had only 20 minutes to clear TSA. Pleasw do not fly Ethiopian Air via Lome to Ghana!!!!. You will regret this very e expensive experience.

And I have yet to hear from anyone with Ethiopian Airlines, only representatives from Madrid airport."

The flight was supposed to get to Abidjan around noon, but because of the delay, we missed the connection and the next available flight was the next day which would mean I missed my next flight and a work conference. In Delhi, the Ethiopian Airlines people assured me that it could be worked out in Addis, and that they could change my final destination to get me where I needed to go. However, in Addis, the employees were rude and did not even read the email that the Delhi people sent them. They would not do anything except send me to Abidjan the following day, which was useless since I already had to be in the US by then. The level of service is incredibly poor and disorganized, with many people having to wait for hours to even talk to someone and no information about what needs to be done. In the end, i had to purchase a new ticket to get to my destination. Had I known this was the case in Delhi, and that i would have to purchase a new ticket, I would have done so in Delhi rather than waiting all night and going to Addis. I fly very often and this is both the worse experience and service I’ve ever experienced on a flight, and they weren’t even able to get me to my destination."

Nevýhody: "It did took a lot of time since we landed until we got our bus to take us to town to our hotel. we waited in the airport for more than one hour, it was late, and we were tired. but after we got to the hotel, it was perfect"

Nevýhody: "Boarding was literally unsafe (too many people going down an escalator into too small an area). Terribly bland food. Buttons on the seat rest too easy to push accidentally (for things like the light or to call a flight attendant)."

I could not wait for this travel to be over. Aircraft was mediocre.. During boarding, they don't seem to care about Priority passengers - despite my status with other Star Alliance carriers. Not sure I will fly by Ethiopian again."

Nevýhody: "The services at the airport was terrible. The Booked me a flight with only a 30 minute layover. When I try telling the people before boarding the plane, big Norred me. When I told the flight attendant she said she would talk to the captain to see if there’s a way I could get a ride to my next plane so I wouldn’t miss it. That never happened. When we got off the plane no one at the airport would help us and when I was trying to run to my next terminal one of the officers at the airport told me to slow down because I wouldn’t miss the plane and I was fine. When I asked help with directions and told him I was afraid of missing my flight people laughed and walked away. When I finally found my terminal and got to it, my flight had already took off seven minutes prior. I absolutelyHated my experience flying with Ethiopian air. The seats are uncomfortable on the plane, not all the seats recline back the same level, and when I was eating dinner I decided to eat chicken since I can’t eat beef and halfway through the check in my stomach started her and I looked up the chicken and it was still pink inside."

Nevýhody: "Boarding was interesting. It should have been an easy boarding as it is a small regional airport. Instead it seemed they went out of their way to make it as confusing as possible. Instead of going through security over here lets have you wrap around the hallway to just have to come back to where you were before?"

Nevýhody: "They overbooked and pushed us to later flight, later flight boarded late, on run way 2 hours, plane maintenance issue so changed aircraft—supposed to arrive 1:30pm, arrived after 10pm, gate agent erased reservation adding frequent flyer number so my seat was given to someone else and I sat finally in last row by toilet instead of with my family—then no one can find record of my return flight and Ethiopian contact number impossible to reach. Truly awful experience. I have no idea if I will have seat on return flight."

In LAX they parked the plane in the middle of no where, and waited 30 mins before debark started, as the plane was so far away the terminal it took an hour for the bags. Fantastic flight

There wasn't much communication and reassurance in terms of delay of the flight. They offered water and some cake only after 3 hours as we were taking off. I ordered 1 noodle and lots of drinks, they charged me two, she said she needed to take a photo of my card which I said no to. Then I said OK we ll keep the 2nd noodle although we didn't need it, just to end the bad situation, she grabbed my bag as I was holding it to get the wallet out and she accidetantally hit the boiling noodles and spilled over my hand and really hurt me, a colleague Brought an ice bag thankfully. This made my journey even worse than it already was with the 3 hour delay of the flight.

I liked that we could pre order and pay for meals. Crew was super efficient and got everything exactly right and of course we didn’t even have to ask it was all super seamless I wish other airlines would do this.

Výhody: "The flight from Istanbul to Prague was fairly basic but everything worked well and was comfortable. The flight was on time. The bags were delivered quickly. There were no problems on the flight as it was relatively quiet. Overall, no complaints."
Nevýhody: "The boarding in Istanbul was via bus, which is not only uncomfortable but impossible to socially distance on. In Prague we deplaned via a jetway. In Istanbul the gate control person was overly vigilant in checking documents. It was very disturbing :("

Výhody: "Firstly, Overbuggage limits were put into practice with a mindset of just to f* the customers and consequently almost every single passenger has to end up paying at such overated fees that were equal to a level of a business ticket of any well known first class airline company.I , myself, had to pay 450£ in total for the ticket , just because of 34 kg of a luggage weight though 20 kg of this amount was included in the ticket. Sirs, if you really will only take this complaint as just to watch and say that this was a company policy then i will definetly never choose your services either again.Also, from the bottom of my heart, i will never feel tired to share and spead around this nasty experience of mine on each and every social media occasion , when i will have a word to say. Within only one flight on that day ,the total buggage revenue of the company was equal to a sum of 23,000 £ in total, despite the plane was ridiculously abit bigger than a small box. Sirs, Pls rethink over what i said. This is far beyond to accept and fit into any int'l trade rules.17£ fee for 1 kg !?? Best Regards"
