The only time I would recommend flying any of the 772s from British Airways was if walking was your only other choice and even then a nice pair of trainers would probably be more comfortable."

Our departure was delayed by 1 hour. Seats in economy class are really cramped so when seats are declined person behind can not eat without banging head into the back rest. Difficult to get in and out of seat as well. Arm rests do not come all the way up so one has to squat to avoid being hit by arm rest. Not very pleasant on 11 hour long flight. Joe"

Nevýhody: "Prague to London flight First I was surprised and disappointed to find out there were so many extra fees. They get you to buy the ticket with a cheaper price and then hit you with all the extra fees e.g. choosing a seat, luggage, food, drinks, you will pay for everything except the flight. The second thing is that when I did go to the BA website on 5 different occasions to pay for my luggage and in order to get a cheaper rate for doing it online before check-in, it gave me a message that the site to do it was not working and that I needed to pay for it at the airport check-in. When I went to check-in at the airport the ticket agent seemed annoyed that I had luggage to check in when I hadn't registered it online. When I told her that the site was down and I wasn't able to do it before hand, she showed no sympathy or understanding. Instead she proceeded to charge me for checking my luggage. It was an outrageous amount of over $80 USD. I have never in all my travels around the world been charged for my luggage. I only travel with one carry on and one medium size check luggage because of my extensive travel. I know charging for luggage may be something more airlines will start doing but I did not think that BA would be one of them. I also would have appreciated some compensation for theirsite being down and not being able to get a discount on the fee because I couldn’t check it online. I am extremely disappointed with my BA experience and will never fly with them again. That is unfortunate for them since I am in the process of traveling around the world for the next few years while writing a travel blog and book. I will definitely publish my review and experience in detail, which I am sure will influence my readers and followers."
Nevýhody: "flight delayed over 1.25 hours because we missed our runway time due to being "unable to get a head count" of the people that are on board. This should be embarrassing for BA. And i don't understand how after all the security, boarding pass and passport checks that you do not have an accurate head count of your passangers. Thus I missed my connecting flight and had to wait over 4 hours for another and got a measly 10 Euros as compensation. Also, they don't even give water for free, and a 200ml juice costs 1.5 Euros which a) its bad juice and b) overpriced. All food you now pay extra for, and they didnt even make it in time to the last few rows so even if Id want to purchase something, I couldn't."

Customers waited over 30 minutes for bags to arrive, which arrived at a different belt than what had been originally scheduled. There were no AA staff in sight when we arrived in NY either. I will do my best not to fly AA again."

Business class and first have been upgraded with new features."

Nevýhody: "I had a 2 hour layover to switch from my BA flight to my American Airlines flight in Heathrow, but since I, and every other AA passenger had to wait in line to reprint my boarding pass to an AA boarding pass after we had taken the bus to the terminal, I waited about 45 minutes in that line. Then we had to go through security again. By the time I made it to my gate the flight said it was "closing." We took off about 15 minutes after that. The "hot box" snack had goat cheese and I'm not a fan."

I may just be one customer, but this is one less they'll have, as other major carriers haven't ever racked up this amount of annoyances in a single trip with me before."

Nevýhody: "On both my departure and return flight, Air Canada insisted I did not tell them ahead of time that I was a vegetarian. I am sure I did it for the departure, and I am absolutely certain I did it on the return. I contacted them because I didn't want to go hungry on another 10+ hour flight. I think, what happened was, another vegetarian who didn't order ahead requested a vegetarian meal and got mine. I was told I had to verify 48 hours before my flight. Why? Could I have become non-vegetarian in that amount of time? You should have to say it only once. I have never had this problem on any other airline, and it happened the only two times I've flown Air Canada. The light positions are terrible; my neighbors' light shown directly into my face the entire flight."

Nevýhody: "Entertainment options very poor considering it is a 5 hr flight. Hadn't realized that they actually made planes without a seat back screen these days! Too many people allowed to bring too much hand luggage on board. Significantly delayed the process of getting people seated. Also, anxiety levels of passengers increases when they start to realize they will have nowhere to put their luggage. Not the perfect start to any flight."

Nevýhody: "I rarely fly these partner airlines without experiencing major delays, and the delays are always announced after I have cleared security, forcing me to spend hours at the airport. The claims of "weather" are specious: they don't fly enough planes and they don't properly maintain the planes they do fly."
Výhody: "Getting me from point A to point B in one piece is most important, so top marks there."
Nevýhody: "- was told to switch gates twice for the same flight (while lugging my stuff along with me) - both flights were late - flight tracker didn't work from LAX to Vancouver - just a note: on flight from Vancouver to LAX, passenger behind us was talking 5X louder then literally anyone else on the plane. I bought headphones just to drown out his life story."

Nevýhody: "I always enjoy flying Porter Airlines because they give you one drink and a small snack for free. For a 5 hour flight I was surprised there wasn't anything complimentary.."
Nevýhody: "I've never been on a transatlantic flight that didn't offer a drink with dinner. Plus, not having a TV screen for passenger's entertainment is out dated. Time to upgrade these planes, or don't use them for long haul flights"

Nevýhody: "getting from the gate to the plane in Rome was a nightmare! the bus that took us to the aircraft was stuffed full, hot, and slow. this may be an airport issue and not airline specific, but it reflected poorly on both."

Nevýhody: "They didn't give out free nuts/pretzels. The entertainment system was off for half the flight even through they said it would reboot in 10 minutes. Loading the plane was the slowest I have ever seen."
Nevýhody: "Flight crew not helpful. Despite empty space in first class overheads, would not allow coach passenger to put anything there."
Výhody: "They were quick to bring meals and snacks. Friendly and accommodating flight crew."
Nevýhody: "For a 9 hour flight, I would have preferred a heads up that there is no in-flight entertainment and you need to have a charged device of your own with the Air Canada app pre-installed. And if you didn't get that memo and you have an Apple device, you're out of luck. Otherwise you can rent an iPad for $10. The chairs were thin and flimsy making it difficult to sleep. And unfortunately we got a "window seat" that did not have a window. It was very disappointing."

Nevýhody: "Overbooked flight Switched gates at the last minute before boarding--very confusing. Filthy bathrooms on plane Typical bad airline food; couldn't even break apart dinner roll it was so rubbery. No individual movie screens, had to use your own mobile device and earphones or pay $10 to use an ipad provided by the plane to access in-flight network. Overall very disappointing service. Expected much more from Air Canada."
Výhody: "The seats were comfortable enough. This was also the cheapest of the overseas flights."
Nevýhody: "You pay for wine! This is the only international flight I've ever had where I had to pay for my wine. They served dinner really late so I stayed up until almost 11 EST to eat and to drink wine before going to sleep. They were understaffed so they always seemed overwhelmed and stressed. No movies or screens."
Nevýhody: "Flight was delayed nearly two hours. Gate signs were never updated. 7 gate attendants spent 1.5 hrs standing at the gate talking laughing and joking amoungst themselves. They appeared annoyed when anyone asked for an update. They finally announced they were waiting for a wheelchair to unload a passenger from the previous flight. They announced they were ready to board zone 1 and 2 and then did nothing for another 25 minutes. Funny when we finally boarded nobody ever saw a wheelchair go on or off the plane. Understand that flights are delayed but no updates or explanations and a gate crew that seemed annoyed that the passengers were disrupting their social time was unacceptable."
Výhody: "The commuter terminal in Toronto is a bit of a pit. Basically a glorified hallway, which gets pretty chaotic while you are waiting for your flight, and others are queuing up. For anyone with mobility challenges it is a long hike from the main terminal."

Nevýhody: "The booking and ticketing department for Air Canada messed up quite a bit with our trip overall. It wasn't just one narrow event: even after the delayed flight, and 6 hour phone call to get rebooked, we had to use international roaming charges at the Shanghai airport to call and get them to correct an error they made with our flight out of Shanghai. The flights themselves were alright, but I want to use every opportunity I have to complain about the booking and customer service process."
Nevýhody: "Their entertainment system relied on customer iPads! Software proved nearly impossible to install. Food service very slow."
Nevýhody: "Staff needed assistance in folding stroller - whereas this has never been a concern on porter. - stroller was thrown on the floor at landing and retrieval."
Nevýhody: "There is streaming provided over local wifi, but no way to charge devices so once devices are dead there is nothing you can do."
